Born in Bucyrus, Roxanna resided in Wadsworth the past three years, previously residing in Port Clinton.
She is survived by sons, Ryan and Cody; mother, Nancy Enochs of Wadsworth; father, Arthur Wade, Sr. of North Ridgeville; sister, Becky Cabell of Port Clinton; brothers, Arthur Jr. (wife Vickie) of Wadsworth and Anthony of Charleston, W. Va.; aunt, Peggy Yost of Akron; uncle, Roger Kirk of Massillon; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Helen E. Wagner, 81, died Tuesday, April 7, 1998.

Dr. Louis M. Walker
Dr. Louis M. Walker, 79, died April 4, 1998.
A 45 year resident of Akron, Dr. Walker was born in Decatur, Ill. the son of Frank E. and Margaret Mills Walker. He was a graduate of Washington and Lee University and of Northwestern University Medical School.
Dr. Walker served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He practiced obstetrics and gynecology and had been chief of staff of the O.B./Gyn. Department for a number of years. He was a member of the 200 club and of the Portage Country Club.
Preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth Earle Walker; he is survived by three daughters, Katherine Holbrook of Vashon Island, WA, Sandra McGregor of Boulder, Colorado, and Lisa Rich of Wellesley, Massachusetts; 6 grandchildren, and one great grandson.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. TUESDAY in the Chapel at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, with Dr. Richard L. McCandless officiating. There are no calling hours. Brenda Wallace passed away April 7, 1998, at Akron City Hospital, after an extended illness.
She was a lifetime resident of Akron, and attended Garden of Prayer Church of God in Christ and Weaver School.
Brenda is survived by mother, Mary Wallace; father, Payton Wallace; aunts, uncle, cousins, a host of other relatives and friends.

Anne H. Walsh (Doran)
Anne H. Walsh (Doran), 94, was born in Akron on March 29, 1904, and died April 2, 1998.
A lifelong area resident, she graduated from Seton Hall and Case Western Reserve University. From 1944 to 1957, she was executive director of the Catholic Service League. On July 30, 1957, she married William A. Walsh, who preceded her in death on June 30, 1975. Mrs. Walsh was a former board member at St. Thomas Hospital, where she volunteered. From 1953 to 1982, she was a trustee of the Beacon Journal Fund Board. She was instrumental in starting St. Edward's Home, where she volunteered for many years. Mrs. Walsh was a member of the Portage Country Club.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Alfred Hascek of Royal Oak, Mich., Maureen and Edwin Fender of Eugene, Ore.; grandchildren, Kelly Anne, Christopher, Courtney, and Kevin Fender; nephew, John (Carol) Doran; nieces, Marianne (Bill) Brennan and Helen (John) Kirwan; great-nieces and -nephews, Thomas (Penny) Hager, Mary Beth (Terry) Schall, Catherine (Paul) Zawistowski, Richard Hager, Thomas D. He was born in Pennsylvania and was a resident of Solon, then Cuyahoga Falls. Robert served in the U. S. Marine Corps in combat in Korea, receiving a Purple Heart medal and the United Nations Service Medal.
Preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Joseph Wassil, he is survived by his daughter, Kelly (Scott) Carstens of Bay Village, Ohio; son Robert J. Mildred F. Weakland
SUFFIELD -- Mildred F. Weakland, 90, passed away April 8, 1998.
Born in Cambria County, Pa., Mildred was the daughter of Edward and Julia Weakland, and lived in the Akron area most of her life. She was employed by the Akron Welding and Spring Co. as an executive secretary and purchasing agent for more than 35 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member St. Joseph Catholic Church, A.B.W.A. Akron Chapter, and Krumroy Senior Citizens.
Preceded in death by her sister, Lucy, she is survived by many cousins and friends.

FLORIDA -- Mary Betty Weil, 79, of Crystal River, Fla., passed away at her residence Monday, March 30, 1998, under the loving care of Hospice of Citrus County and her family.
Ms. Weil was born in Akron and worked as an executive secretary for Botzum Bros. Concrete Co. for 40 years, before retiring to Crystal River 15 years ago. Ms. Weil was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church of Crystal River.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Fred M. ``Bud'' Weil, and is survived by her cousins, Peggy Dicks and Jean Houston, both of Akron.

FLORIDA -- Henry Weiler Jr., 81, of Delray Beach, Fla., born April 13, 1917, in Akron, died April 15, 1998, in Sunrise, Fla.
He is survived by his wife, Janice, four children and a sister, Betty Olinger of Uniontown, and was preceded in death by sister, Kate Hoffman, also of Uniontown.
A memorial service was held at his church in Delray Beach, Fla.

G. Harry Weir, 93, of Cape Coral, Fla., passed away Wednesday.
Born in Paris, Ontario, Canada, he had moved to Florida in 1968 from Barberton. He was a teacher at Buchtel High School in Akron for many years, retiring in 1968, and a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge in Ohio.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mildred L. Weir of Cape Coral; daughter, Sandra L. Manning of Cape Coral; son, Thomas G. Weir of Indiana; stepson, Kenneth E. Mathews of Alabama; sister, Evelyn Janes of Westfield, Mass.; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Eugene Wells Jr., 61, departed this life March 30, 1998, at Akron General Medical Center.
He was born in Walnutridge, Ark., to the late Eugene and Hattie Wells Sr. Mr. Wells was retired from the Rockwell International in 1983 after 20 years of service. He was a veteran, and a member of the Eternal Life Apostolic Church. He has lived in this community for over 40 years.

NORTON -- Arthur B. Williams, 85, passed away suddenly April 14, 1998.
Mr. Williams was born in Muhlenberg County, Ky., on Sept. 9, 1912, and had resided in Norton over 50 years. He was retired from the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., and was a member of Carpenter's Local 639 out of Akron.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and eight brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dora; son, Arthur D. (Patricia) Williams; daughter, Victoria L. (Fred) Curran; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Bobby Williams, 65, of Copley, went home to be with the Lord on April 13, 1998.
He was born April 25, 1932, in Blytheville, Ark., and was a member of the West Akron Church of Christ, where he served the Lord. He retired from the Babcock & Wilcox Co. with almost 40 years of service.
Bobby was the loving husband of Wilda, to whom he had been married for almost 49 years. A loving father, he is survived by daughters, Wilda (Robert) Vorhees of Barberton, Bambi of Clinton, Suzanna (Bill) Wamsley of North Kingsville, Ohio; sons, Charles B. D. (Helen) of Copley, John W. (Glenda) of Barberton, and J. Scott (Emily) of Barberton; 16 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Willingham was born in Salisbury, Pa., and had resided in Munroe Falls the past 45 years, moving there from Mogadore. She was a past member of the Mud Hens in Akron.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joseph M. Sr.; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Pete Bixler of Mogadore; sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph Jr. and Donna of Munroe Falls, and Ronald and Sharon of Ravenna; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter; sisters, Joan Golden of Mogadore and Delores Arnold of Akron; and brother, Paul Knecht of Florida.

Frances Armacost Wise
Frances Armacost Wise, age 105, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away in Corpus Christi on April 7, 1998, just a week short of her 106th birthday.
She was born in Felicity, Clermont County, Ohio, April 16, 1892. She and her husband, Charles Wesley Wise, owned and operated the Wise Pharmacy in Akron from 1925 until 1972. After Mr. Wise's death, Mrs. Wise moved to Corpus Christi to live with her daughter, Arline Brewer. She was a member of Woodland United Methodist Church in Akron.
Mrs. Wise is survived by her daughter, Arline Brewer; granddaughter, Pamela Schlenk of Anchorage, Alaska; and grandson, Henry Schlenk of Mathews, Virginia.

Olive Florence Darrah Wyckoff (Bearden, Chaboudy, Kubicek)
A longtime resident of Monroe Falls and Peninsula, Olive Darrah lived a full life as wife, mother, and restaurant owner.
Born in Suffield Township on Oct. 20, 1907, to Harry Edison Darrah and Florence Mary Hale Darrah of Mogadore, she raised for children and was widowed three times in the ensuing 90 years. Olive was a member of the Eastern Star, a descendant of the Mayflower forefathers, Daughters of the American Revolution, and was active in local bowling leagues in and around the Hudson-Peninsula area. With her husband, the late Joseph Kubicek, she owned the Virginia Kendall Restaurant in the 1950s, '60s, and '70s. Most recently, Olive lived at Rest Haven Life Center near her son in Louisiana until her death on Dec. 3, 1997.
She is survived by sons, Dr. Norman Gene Bearden of Jackson, Ala., Robert Bernard Chaboudy of Franklinton, La., and U. S. Army LTC (Ret.) Carl Harry (Butch) Chaboudy of Herndon, Va. She was predeceased by her daughter, Mrs. Barbara Ann Coram. Other surviving relatives include nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
On April 25, 1998, her ashes will be interred during a graveside service to be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Akron at 10:30 a.m., and followed by family and friends gathering at the Sheraton Suites in Cuyahoga Falls. BARBERTON -- Ila Pauline Zadell, 80, passed away peacefully, with dignity and eloquence of beauty, on April 13, 1998.

George L. Zollinger
George L. Zollinger, 73, loving husband, father and grandfather died Friday, April 10, 1998.
Mr. Zollinger was born in Akron, was a lifelong resident, who served with the Merchant Marines as a radio operator in World War II. For 28 years, he was employed as an engineer at the Ohio Edison Company. He was a former member of the Ghent Christian Church where he served as a deacon, elder and trustee. Mr. Zollinger was currently a member of the Firestone Park Christian Church. His memberships include the Gallups Island Radio Association, the American Legion, 50 year member of Adoniram Masonic Lodge, the Bath Goodtime Club and ``The Ghents'' Musicians. He was also a ham radio operator (W8YCQ).
His survivors include wife, Amy (Amelia) to whom he was married 51 years; daughter and son-in-law, Georgiann and Richard Robertson; son and daughter-in-law, Geoffrey and Pam Zollinger; and granddaughter, Holly Zollinger.
Calling hours Monday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Ciriello & Carr Fairlawn Chapel, 39 S. Miller Rd., where Rev. R. Harry Bolen will conduct services at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
