BARBERTON -- Carmel Patrick Dinuzzo, 78, died May 5, 1998, at Barberton Citizens Hospital.
He was born in Barberton, where he was a life resident. He was employed by the Ohio Brass Co. with 42 years service, retiring 17 years ago as an assembler. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, where he was active in the church Holy Hour Program. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 1617, Barberton Elks Lodge 982, and was a World War II Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Anita Byrd, and is survived by wife, Margaret; sons, Alexander (Jeannie) of LeMoore, Calif., Scott of Barberton; daughters, Joyce (Ernie) Carr (nee Byrd) of Barberton, Peggy (David) Sample of Canal Fulton, Josephine Dinuzzo of Akron, Jeraldine (Bruce) Becker of Wadsworth; sisters, Margaret (Richard) McIntyre and Dorothy (Joseph) Scarpino, both of Akron.

Louis A. Dirker, Esq., 72, of Tallmadge, passed away at his home Friday, May 1, 1998.
Born in Akron, he was a lifetime area resident. Louis was a practicing attorney for 36 years, retiring in 1996. He attended Kent State University and graduated from the Akron School of Law in 1960. He served in the U. S. Army Airborne during World War II. Louis was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Tallmadge, Post 19 of the American Legion, and the American Bar Association.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Elinor; children and spouses, Louis and Miriam Dirker, and Christine and Terry McHugh, both of Cuyahoga Falls, Gregory and Kim Dirker of Eagle, Colorado, and Mary Van Almen of Tallmadge; and 12 grandchildren.

Monie Dodd (Jarvis), 80 years, passed away April 30, 1998.
Born in Shock, W. Va., she resided in the Akron area for 56 years. Mrs. Dodd retired from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., was a member of the LaFems and the 40&8.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Shirley R. Dodd; son, Gerald D. Jarvis; daughters, F. Carole Jarvis, C. Katherine Perry, and Sharon A. Michael D. Domenick, 67, died May 3, 1998.
Mr. Domenick was born in Grape-ville, Pa., and was a longtime resident of the Akron area. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon, he was a member of the American Chemical Society and of the Northeast Ohio Rubber Group. He was a chemical engineer, having worked in sales, and had most recently been the owner of M. D. Domenick, Inc.
Preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Jean and grandson, Jonathan, he is survived by his wife of 43 years, Margret; children, Christopher (Sandra) Domenick of Lorain, Michael (Cherl) Domenick of Piqua, Cynthia (George) Stamper of Wadsworth, Carolyn (David) Tamny of Columbus, Theresa (Dan) Welch of Norton; 17 grandchildren; brother, Anthony Domenick; and sister, Marie Zeoli, both of California.

John Eric Duncan, 14, died suddenly May 13, 1998.
He was the son of Denise and Richard Petron of Kent, and John and Debbie Duncan of Pennsylvania. An eighth-grader at Field Junior High, Johnny had a great love of fishing, hunting, and sports. He participated in football, baseball, and Boy Scouting. He was a loving son and was cherished by all.
