KENMORE -- Madelyn G. Ramsey, 59, passed away May 18, 1998.
She was born June 13, 1938, in Walback, W. Va.
She was preceded in death by mother, Lona Bell Moss; stepmother, Ramona Moss; brothers, Darrell and Noel. She is survived by husband of 41 years, Lanty J. Ramsey; daughters, Anita M. (Brian) Gilman of Barberton, Marcella ``Sue Bell'' (Brian) Fleming Sr. of Barberton; grandchildren, Brian Jr., Brandon, Brent Fleming, and Gayle Gilman; father, Virgil J. Moss of West Virginia; brothers, Junior (Mary) Moss of West Virginia, Norman (Mary) Moss of Hartville; sister, Carolyn (Joe) Griffin of Hartville; stepbrother Charles Ray (Zenda) Vance of West Virginia; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; also, doggies, Odie and Sparky.
Funeral services Friday, May 22, 1998, at 10 a.m., at Calvary Wesleyan Church, 139 31st St. S.W., Barberton, Pastor Bryan Feathers officiating. Burial at Lakewood Cemetery. Alex John Redl Sr.
Alex John Redl Sr., 81, died suddenly Wednesday, May 27, 1998.
Alex was born in Passaic, New Jersey, and lived most of his life in Akron. He was a 1934 graduate of Hower Trade School. He was a professional golf pro for over 60 years, a member of the PGA Half Century Club, Past Secretary of the Northern Ohio PGA and retired from Firestone Country Club, where he served as Golf Pro for 23 years. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Merchant Marines in the Coast Guard Division.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Rose A.; sons, Alex John Jr. (Peggy), of Beatrice, Neb., Benjamin Joseph; and granddaughter, Amy Rose of Denver, Colo.; many nieces, nephews and friends. Alex was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary; and infant son, Timothy John.
There will be no calling hours. Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, June 1, 1998 at St. Hilary Catholic Church (2750 W. Market St.). Inurnment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park. Should you desire, memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Service, St. Hilary Parish or the charity of choice. Michael J. Regiec
Michael J. Regiec, 85, of Amherst, died Saturday, May 30, 1998, at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, following a long illness.
Mr. Regiec was born Sept. 18, 1912, in Buffalo, Ohio, and was a resident of Lorain County for 42 years, coming from Canton. He was employed by the Lorain Aluminum Co. as vice president of sales for 42 years until retiring in 1978. Mr. Regiec served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Church in Elyria and was active at the Lorain Senior Center. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge 465 in Elyria, United Polish Club in Elyria, and past president of the Polish Preservation Society.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Barbara Regiec (nee Perdue); daughters, Carol Bunt of Lorain, Susan Herman of Amherst; son, Joseph Regiec of Lorain; three grandchildren; sisters, Caroline Pavlik of Lorain, Blanche Knapp of Canton; brother, Walter Regiec of Canton. He was preceded in death by sisters, Josephine Frigley and Mary Ann Fisher.
Friends may call Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Bauer-Laubenthal-Wainwright Funeral Home at Chestnut Ridge Road and state Route 57 in Elyria. Services will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 41295 North Ridge Rd., Elyria. The Rev. James R. Ols, pastor, will be celebrant. Burial will follow at Ridgehill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
Keith Robert Renick
Keith Robert Renick, 66, passed away May 16, 1998 at his home in Uniontown.
He was born in Bedford, Pa., graduated from Penn State University and shortly after began his 38 year accounting career with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, retiring in 1992. Mr. Renick served two years in the army at Ft. Knox, Ky. The family lived in Topeka, Ks. after he was transferred to the Goodyear plant there in 1967 and returned to Akron in 1980. He was a dedicated member of the Uniontown United Methodist Church. A fan of many sports and an avid fisherman, he particuliarly enjoyed those times at mountain streams in Colorado. He also enjoyed gardening. Times spent with his family were so important to him.
Preceded in death by father, Keith G. Renick; he will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife, Mary Jane; mother, Edna Renick of Sarasota, Fl.; daughters, Julie Barnett and Susan (Tim) Archual; son, Mark (Kim) all of the area; six grandchildren, Heather Barnett, Laura, Jeremy and Leah Archual, Aaron and Allison Renick; sisters, Diane (Lowell) Hartman, and Sheryl (Robert) Carr; sister-in-law, Eleanor Seiff; brother-in-law, Charles (Marilyn) Clifford; and other family members and dear friends from over the years.

There will be a memorial service Wednesday ll:00 a.m. at the church and the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Malcolm E. (Bud) Rich
CPOS Malcolm E. (Bud) Rich, USN Ret., of Tallmadge, passed away Sunday, May 17, 1998, at his home.
After his retirement from the Navy, he was employed at Sears for 18 years. He was an avid participant in the Corsair Model Air Craft Club and Amateur Radio Network WB8FTM.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Beulah Rich, and is survived by his wife, Ethelmae; daughters, Susan (Ron) Bruno, Debbie Rich; son, Dr. Craig Rich; beloved grandchildren, Chris, Erin, and Jamie Bruno; sisters, Elaine Lovsey, Cheryl Delagrange.

Ida Mae Richards
Ida Mae Richards, 83, passed away May 18, 1998.
Born in DuBois, Pa., she lived in Akron before moving to Woodland Hills, Calif., and was currently residing in Newark, Ohio. Mrs. Richards retired from the Motion Picture Hospital and Retirement Center of Woodland Hills in 1975 after 10 years of service.
Preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother, she is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Carol Richards of Dublin, Ohio, Donald and Sharon Richards of Russellville, Ark.; 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Kathryn Louise Rinal (nee Stafford), 91, went home to the Lord on May 14, 1998, in Anaheim, Calif.
Born April 5, 1906, in East Cleveland, she was a descendant of Moses Cleveland.
Kathryn is survived by daughters, Frances Kleckner of Cuyahoga Falls and Shirley Musil of Garden Grove, Calif.; 17 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 26 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Douglas; daughter, Jeanne Prickett; sons, Douglas and Richard; granddaughter, Tabitha; and great-great-grandson, ``Jake'' Kropff of Cuyahoga Falls.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 22, 1998, 4 p.m., at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent. Officiating will be William McClure of The Chapel in Akron.

MANCHESTER -- Tom W. Roberson, 77, passed away May 30, 1998.
Born Sept. 17, 1920, in Wayne County, Ga., he served with the U. S. Army, and retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber with 35 years of service. He was a member of the Penn-Ohio Model A Club.
He is survived by sons, Tom (Sue) Roberson of Manchester, Harry (Sally) Roberson of Georgia, Rod (Brenda) Roberson of Manchester; daughter, Valerie (Ray) Greenland of Barberton; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Nora Ignizio of Tallmadge and Geanette Greene of Manchester.

Robert H. Robinson
Robert H. Robinson passed away May 13, 1998 after a long illness.
He was a lifetime resident of Akron, Ohio. He was employed at Summit County Engineering as a dispatcher before his retirement in 1990. Robert was a veteran of World War II in the U.S. Army. He was the eldest of nine children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Viola Robinson; brother, Eugene Robinson; and his son, Darryl Peoples. He leaves to mourn, his wife, Dorothy; son, Reginal Bronner of Akron; three brothers, William Robinson of Dayton, Leon and Clifford Robinson of Akron; four sisters, Nellie Green, Elsie Byrd (Lacie), Charlotte Moore and Sandra (Thomas) Carlton, all of Akron; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; and a host of relatives and friends.

Helen Mildred Rorabeck
STOW -- Helen Mildred Rorabeck, 78, passed away May 21, 1998.
Mrs. Rorabeck was born in Akron and resided her entire life in Stow. She was a graduate of Stow High School and worked as a waitress at Laconi's in Cuyahoga Falls and at the V.F.W./American Legion at the Acker- Moore Memorial Post in Stow, where she was a member of the Womens Auxiliary.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Loretta and Donald Stillwell Sr. of Stow, Janet and Malcolm Vanaman of Northampton; sons and daughters-in-law, David Davis of Akron, Thomas and Cheryl Koerner of Ravenna, Orin and Sandra Rorabeck of Ravenna, Mark Rorabeck of Kent; daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Chuck White of Cuyahoga Falls; 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Sonderecker of Edinburg; sisters, Margaret Sampson of Cuyahoga Falls and Betty Bartley of Ellet.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at Crown Hill Burial Park, 8592 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, Rev. Franklin A. Lorenz officiating.
