Sister Frances Ann Schismenos, 51, of Sister of St. Francis, Tiffin died at 5:15 p.m., Thursday, April 23, 1998. She resided in Mansfield where she worked at St. Peter's Church.
Arrangements are pending at the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home, Tiffin.
Una E. Lonsway
General Electric retiree
Una E. Lonsway, 76, 50 Sixth Ave., died at 2:05 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 1998, in Mercy Hospital of Tiffin, where she had been a patient since April 12.
She was born in Attica, Seneca County, Dec. 1, 1921, to Charles H. and Emma C. (Laux) Mattmiller. On Aug. 15, 1940, in Tiffin, she married Charles Lonsway. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Mark K. Lonsway of Hartsville; a daughter, Carolyn A. Devinney of Molene, Ill.; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marie Geren of Tiffin and Lucille Logsdon of Cleveland.
A son, William A. "Bill" Lonsway, is deceased.
Mrs. Lonsway, a 1939 Columbian High School graduate, retired from the former General Electric Co. after 27 years of employment.
A member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, she liked to shell and knit and enjoyed flowers.
Services in the Turner-Engle Funeral Home will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home will be 6-9 p.m. Friday.

Pamela R. Miller
Tiffin resident's sister
Pamela R. Miller, 43, of 831 Harmon St., Findlay, died in the Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, at 9:55 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 1998.
She was born in Albuquerque, N.M., May 24, 1954, the daughter of Richard C. and Marjorie E. "Peg" Edelman. Her parents survive in Findlay. Her husband, Steven E. "Smoke" Miller, whom she married Feb. 11, 1978, also survives.
Survivors also include: a son Todd A. Miller; two daughters, Jamie R. and Renee L. Miller, all at home; a step-daughter, Stephanie A. Honecker of New Phildelphia, Ohio; a step-grandson; and two brothers, Richard L. Edelman of Tiffin and Ronald L. Edelman of Dayton.
A former Marathon Oil Co. employee, Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and had been employed as a bus driver for the Findlay City Schools.
She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Findlay.
The Rev. Jose' Corrall will be the celebrant at the 1 p.m. Saturday, Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Catholic Church, East. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay, will be 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, where a Vigil service will be at 8:30 p.m..

Irma L. Mills
Retired Clyde school teacher
Irma L. Mills, 87, formerly of Clyde, died Wednesday, April 22, 1998, in the Bethesda Care Center, Fremont.
Born Aug. 17, 1910, in Clyde, to Vetta and Louise (Hayden) Wagner, she married Roy Mills, Feb. 15, 1933. He preceded her in death Sept. 16, 1969.
Survivors include: a son, Gerald L. Mills of Beaverton, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Warren (Joyce) McDaniels of Clyde and Mrs. Richard (Judith) Bosak of Toledo; two step-daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Myrtle) Holmes of Puellup, Wash. andMrs. Robert (Beatrice) Koch of Clyde; a sister, Mrs. Wendell (Mable) Drown of Clyde; five grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death was a step-son, Roy "Sonny" Mills Jr., who died in 1980.
A graduate of York High School and a 1928 graduate of Bowling Green State University, Mrs. Mills was employed as a school teacher in the Clyde Schools 1960-75, retiring after 15 years of service.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Clyde and its Senior Philathea Class and the National, State and County Retired Teacher's Associations.
The Rev. John Bailey will conduct the 10 a.m. Friday service in the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, Clyde. Interment will be in Ellsworth Cemetery, rural Clyde.
Visitation at the funeral home is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today.

Melissa E. Hill
Clyde homemaker
Melissa E. Hill, 86, died Tuesday, April 21, 1998, at the home of her grandson, on East Forest Street, Clyde, where she resided.
She was born in Gibsonburg, Jan. 2, 1912, to Mr. and Mrs. Gerwin. Her husband, Clarence Donald Hill, died in 1983.
Surviving are a son, Daniel Wendt of Marblehead; a step-son, Marlin Eugene Hill of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a sister, Hazel Gulau of Monroeville; and a grandson, John Hill of Clyde, whom she raised and then made her home with.
A graduate of Gibsonburg High School, Mrs. Hill was a homemaker and at one time had been employed at the Erie Proving Grounds.
Graveside services are 11 a.m. today in McPherson Cemetery, Clyde.
The Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, Clyde, is in charge of arrangements.
Vincent I. Schroeder
Father of Tiffin resident
Vincent I. Schroeder, 93, died at 2 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 1998, at his residence in Ottawa.
He was born in Leipsic, July 19, 1904, to Frank and Amelia (Stechschulte) Schroeder. On Sept. 4, 1929, he married Kathryn Lammers, and she survives.
Other survivors include: seven sons, Vernon Schroeder of Ottoville, the Rev. Dennis Schroeder of Bucyrus, Mark and Vincent Jr. Schroeder, both of Leipsic, Earl Schroeder of Ottawa, Steve Schroeder of Atlanta, Ga. and Louis Schroeder of Chicago, Ill.; four daughters, Mrs. Bob (Marilyn) Ruhe of Leipsic, Mrs. Mike (Evelyn) Milano of Chicago, Pat Kern of Lima and Sister Paulette Schroeder OSF of Tiffin; 40 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Preceding him in death were a daughter, Phyllis Rieman; a son, Frank Schroeder; a grandson, Jeff Ruhe; seven brothers, Samuel, Lewis, Henry, Gerhard, Lawrence, Arnold and Joseph Schroeder; and two sisters, Veronica Kaufman and Christina Schmenk.
Mr. Schroeder, a retired farmer and former insurance agent for German Mutual Ins. Co., also was a former Miller City-New Cleveland School board member.
He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa; Ottawa Knights of Columbus; Ottawa Eagles and the Holy Aid at Holy Family Church, New Cleveland.
A funeral Mass in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church will be 10 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Dennis Schroeder as celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation at the Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, is 7-9 p.m. today and 2-9 p.m. Thursday. Eagles services will be 7:30 p.m. today, Scripture services will be 8 p.m. and the Knights of Columbus Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Howard J. Price
National Machinery retiree
Howard J. Price, 82, of 1000 E. CR 6, Tiffin, died at 6:40 a.m. Friday, April 17, 1998, at his home.
He was born May 7, 1915, in Eden Township, Seneca County, to the late Harvey E. and Orpha (Johnson) Price. He married Louise F. Kimmett May 7, 1938. They later divorced. His second marriage was to Irma (Bogard) Stevens Oct. 26, 1963. She survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Harold K. Price of Tiffin; a daughter, Joanne Roby of Sycamore; three stepchildren, Lee Stephens of Tiffin, Mark Stephens of Worland, Wyo., and LeMar Mick of Sycamore; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Martha E. Owings of Melmore.
Graduating from Melmore High School in 1933, Mr. Price served in the Army during World War II in India, China and Japan. He was a top gunner on a B-29, receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross three times, the Air Medal four times and Asian Theater medal once. Price retired in 1980 from National Machinery in Tiffin where he worked as a welder for 26 years and belonged to its Quarter Century Club. He also farmed for many years. A private pilot and member of the Flying Farmers Association, Price attended Harmony United Methodist Church where he was a former trustee and member of Win-A-Couple Sunday school class.
A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at the church. Interment will be in Price Cemetery, Seneca County. The body has been cremated.
Visitation will be 4-5 p.m. Sunday at Walton-Moore Funeral Home in Sycamore.
