died Monday at his residence. He was retired from Bass Corp. Also surviving
are 3 daughters, Lois Webb of South Point, Ohio, Sherry Sexton of Crown
City, Ohio, and Rita Stevenson of Proctorville, Ohio; and 1 son, Frederick
Brown of Proctorville, Ohio. Funeral will be at 1 pm Thursday at the Hall
Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio; burial in Rome Cemetery. Friends may call
from 6 pm to 9 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

FOX, Henry - IRONTON JOURNAL May 4, 1870
Two Germans, returning from a wedding in this city, in a wagon, one of them
attempted to fire a salute with a pistol, but it missed fire and as he was
fixing to recap it, the wagon struck a chuck-hole and the pistol went off,
striking Henry FOX who is a one armed soldier, in the eye, passing through
is head. At last accounts, FOX was in critical condition and recovery is
hardly probable. August WEAVER of Hecla, who held the weapon, is almost wild
with grief at having been then innocent cause of hurting on of his bosom
friends.
HALL, ROBERT - IRONTON REGISTER APRIL 27, 1899
Robert Hall was born in Bedford Co., Va., August 1st, 1808; died April 20th,
1899, aged nearly ninety-one years. He has always lived in Lawrence co., and
the farm he cleared was one of the first in Rome Township. He was married
to Julia Miller, August 28, 1830, and reared a large family. Two sons
residing here, J. M. and W. M. and one daughter, the wife of J. L. Carnes of
Mexico, Mo. Are all that are known to be living.

Died Oct. 21, 1881 of typhoid fever. Lived with his uncle, Mr. Warneke.
Buried near Mt. Vernon Furnace.
MOORE, CLARK - IRONTON REGISTER FEB. 1, 1906
Do not have beginning of his obit - He enlisted in Co. K., 5th W. Va.
Infantry Feb. 13, 1867 he was united in marriage to Ada C. Allen. His home
until a few years ago was on Solida near Ryansville. His widow and an only
brother, Lewis Moore of Ryansville and a sister, Mrs. Susan Sweeney of
Grayson Co., Va., survive him. Burial at Woodland.

Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. Funeral services will be conducted at 2
pm Thursday at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio, by Rev Charles
Christian. Burial will be in Centenary Cemetery. He was born Aug. 4, 1934, a
son of Bertie Keeney Freeman of Chesapeake, Ohio, and the late Kelley
Freeman. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Freeman. Additional
survivors include 1 daughter, Linda Lee Towne of Clearwater, FL; 1 sister,
Frieda Freeman of Chesapeake, Ohio; 1 brother, Bernard Freeman of Scottown,
Ohio; 4 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from
6 pm to 9 pm Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home.
