DILLON, JOHN - IRONTON REGISTER SEPT. 13, 1900
John Dillon, a prosperous farmer at Symmes Twp., died at his home near
Waterloo Monday morning, aged 60(or 68) years. Dropsy and heart disease
combined to cause his death. The deceased was a brother of Rev. Joshua
Dillon.

Wilson. Burial will be in Linville, Ohio, Cemetery. She was born Aug. 17,
1948, in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter of Elsie Sullivan Nance of South Point,
Ohio, and the late Devern Nance. She was a former employee of Huntington
Hospital and was a member of the Creed Christian Baptist Church. Additional
survivors include her husband, Colon C. Freeman; 2 daughters and a
son-in-law, Lori and Jeff Blackburn of Proctorville, Ohio, and Julie Freeman
at home; 1 granddaughter, Emily BLACKBURN of Proctorville, Ohio, 1 sister
and brother-in-law, Jean and Rob Steep of Huntington, WV; and 3 brother and
sister-in-law, Jerry and Kim Nance of Barboursville, WV, Jeff and Kathy
Nance of Scottown, Ohio, and Jon and Marlin Nance of Columbus, Ohio. Friends
may call from 6 pm to 9 pm Tuesday at Schneider Funeral Home.

Rev. Wm. Davidson, one of the veterans of this county, died at South Point,
last week, and was buried on Sunday. Uncle Billy was well known. His son,
Commodore W. F. Davidson, of St. Paul, was at the funeral.
