Andrew Dempsey, son of the late Thos. A. Dempsey, died at Cincinnati, last
Monday. His mother died only a few weeks ago, and he attended the funeral
here. He was an Ironton school boy, and lately a bookkeeper in a wholesale
house at Cincinnati. He was about 27 years old.

HEMPSTEAD, DR. F. H - IRONTON REGISTER APR. 28, 1904
Dr. F. H. Hempstead died Sunday at his home in Lynnville, this county, of
pneumonia. The deceased was 32 years old, and is survived by his wife and
two children. Dr. Hempstead formerly practiced in this city, having his
office in Whitwell and only recently moved to Lynnville, where he contracted
his fatal illness. The body was brought to this city Monday and taken to the
home of his sister, Mrs. T. M. Price, on North Sixth Street. Later the body
was taken to Portsmouth, where the funeral was held Tuesday afternoon.

Hopkins, after a lingering illness, in the 36th year of her age. Funeral

HUDDLE, JOHN - IRONTON REGISTER FEB. 1, 1906
John Huddle died at the Deaconess hospital Saturday night after a brief
illness of typhoid fever, aged 20 years. Burial was at Sugar Creek Cemetery.
JENKINS, NATHAN - IRONTON REGISTER NOV. 24, 1892
Last week, in a letter from the country, was given the news of Nathan
Jenkin's death. He died at the age of 79 years. He had 13 children, 99
grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
