Bonita Leigh Steele, age 59 of Decatur, Ohio died Monday, January 14, 2013 at her residence. She was a homemaker. Bonnie was born November 12, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Betty (Becker) Steele.
Ms. Steele is survived by three children Tina Brannock-Flinchum and husband Stanley of Alexandria, Kentucky, Joe Brannock and wife Brandy of West Union, Ohio and Jason Brannock of Aberdeen, Ohio; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother Bud Steele and wife Cathy of Florence, Kentucky; three sisters Becky Radel and husband Jack of Amelia, Ohio, Barb Reiter and husband Dana of Hamersville, Ohio and Sherry Schoenung and husband Tom of Mt.Carmal, Ohio and her companion Hewson Smith of Georgetown, Ohio.
Following cremation, private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
George Daniel Klump

George Daniel Klump, age 83 of Ripley, Ohio, died Monday, January 14, 2013 at his residence. He was a farmer and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Mr. Klump was born September 13, 1929 in Ripley, Ohio the son of the late August and Anna (Schwallie) Klump. He was also preceded in death by two sisters Marie Ashmore and Eileen Helbling and one brother Bob Klump.
Mr. Klump is survived by his wife Patty Klump; nine children Steve Klump of Dover, Kentucky, Elaine Chaney (David) of Maysville, Kentucky, Lisa Gray of Georgetown, Ohio, Brad Klump (Bonnie) of Russellville, Ohio, Jan Jimison (Daryl) of Ripley, Ohio, Kelly Mussinan (Brent) of Ripley, Ohio, Danny Klump of Ripley, Ohio, Aaron Klump (Christine) of New Richmond, Ohio and Chris Klump (Nikki) of Cosby, Tennessee; seventeen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. On Friday, January 18, 2013 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Dohrman Byars will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, January 17 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Courts-Fussnecker American Legion Post #367 of Ripley, Ohio.
Gerald Smitson

Gerald Smitson, age 82 of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Meadowwood Nursing and Rehabilation Center in Georgetown, Ohio. He worked at the Sullivan Shoe Factory in Georgetown, Ohio and the Shoe-Zees Shoe Factory in Higginsport, Ohio and was a United States Army Veteran. Mr. Smitson was born January 11, 1931 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Lon and Chloe (McBeath) Smitson.
Mr. Smitson is survived by his wife if fifty-six years, June (Yazell) Smitson, whom he married January 5, 1957; one brother James Smitson of Higginsport, Ohio and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Kevin Whitsett will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Higginsport Cemetery in Higginsport, Ohio.

Lucille Hart
(February 1, 1931 - January 22, 2013)
Lucille Michael Hart, age 81 of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Southwest Regional Medical Center in Georgetown, Ohio. She received her bachelor degree in Education from the University of Kansas and her masters degree from the Miami University. In 1977 she she was hired as a librarian for the Georgetown Exempted School District, she retired in 1997 after twenty years of service. Mrs. Hart was a member of the International Wizard of Oz Club, the Ephemera Society of America and the Golden Glow of Christmas Past. Lucille was born February 1, 1931 in Humboldt, Kansas the daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Clemmons) Michael.
Mrs. Hart is survived by her husband of sixty-two years - James Hart, whom she married August 26, 1950; one son Michael Hart of Georgetown, Ohio; two daughters Susan Hart of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Betsy Campbell of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; three grandchildren Sarah Rubinstein of Brooklyn, New York and Jesse Campbell and Isaac Blackburn both of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and her faithful loving dog Roxanne Wunderbeast.
Following cremation, there will be no services. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family. Mrs. Hart requested that instead of memorial contribution, she would like for everyone to share a good book.
Clark Godby
(February 15, 1930 - January 22, 2013)
Clark Anderson Godby, age 82 of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Hospice Inpatient Care Center at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, Ohio. He was retired from Cincinnati Milacron, but had worked many other jobs. Clark was a milk truck driver, a meat cutter, life insurance agent and delivered oil. He was a Hamersville High School graduate and a member of the Georgetown Church of Christ. Mr. Godby was born February 15, 1930 in Mt.Olivet, Kentucky the son of the late Warren and Lucy Blanche (Anderson) Godby. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Clinton Godby.
Mr. Godby is survived by his wife of sixty-two years Donna (Frodge) Godby, whom he married July 1, 1950; one daughter Vicki Tolin Biggers and husband Danny of Columbus, Ohio; one son John Warren Godby and wife Lori of Ripley, Ohio; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two nephews; four nieces; eight very special cousin and many dear friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio. Scott Hennig will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. 1:00 P.M. at the church. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.

Walter "Pete" Lee Hutton

Walter Lee Pete Hutton, age 84 of Georgetown, Ohio, died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Southwest Regional Medical Center in Georgetown, Ohio. He was a farmer and worked with horses for many years. Mr. Hutton was born June 28, 1928 in Bethel, Ohio the son of the late Louise Hiler Day. He was also preceded in death by his wife Helen (Henize) Hutton; one sister Helen Meyers; several half brothers and sisters.
Mr. Hutton is survived by one sister Ruth Teeters of Georgetown, Ohio and several cousins and step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Jeremy Stout will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sanders Cemetery near Georgetown, Ohio.
Howard Adams

Howard Adams, age 88 of Ripley, Ohio, died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Southwest Regional Medical Center in Georgetown, Ohio. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was in Company A in the 357th Infantry Division. He was awarded a Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal and European African Middle Eastern Service Medal with four Bronze Stars. He also served during the Korean War. Mr. Adams worked for NCR for sixteen years and was a general contractor. He was born March 2, 1924 in Aberdeen, Ohio the son of the late Mike and Anna Mary (Kirk) Adams. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Grace Adams; his second wife Frances Adams and one daughter, Denise Shira.
Mr. Adams is survived by one daughter Kathy Conklin of Winston Salem, North Carolina; one son Jerry Adams and wife Anita of Beavercreek, Ohio; two grandchildren - Michelle West and husband Kevin and Rachel Adams; three great-grandchildren - Austin Adams, Abby and Aiden West.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. John Neu will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Thursday. Interment will be in Red Oak Cemetery near Ripley, Ohio. Military Honors will be provided at the graveside by the Courts Fussnecker American Legion Post # 367 of Ripley, Ohio.
Matthew Kinnett

Ronald Matthew Kinnett, age 35 of Sardinia, Ohio died Monday, June 24, 2013 at his residence. He was a welder for PJ Trailers. Matthew was born August 23, 1977 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Donna M. (Waits) Kinnett of Sardinia, Ohio and the late Ronald R. Kinnett.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Kinnett is survived by his wife, Kellie Kinnett; four children Kali Marie and Jacob Daniel Kinnett both of Sardinia, Ohio and Kollin Matthew and Kerigan Faith Kinnett both Winchester, Ohio; one sister Bethany Kinnett of Batavia, Ohio; two brothers Joshua Kinnett and Travis Kinnett both of Middletown, Ohio and paternal grandparents Ray and Inez Kinnett of Sardinia, Ohio.
Following cremation, memorial services will be held at 8:00 P.M. Friday, June 28, 2013 at the Sardinia Church of Christ in Sardinia, Ohio. Kevin Hamilton will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday at the church.
