Laura S. Moffett, age 48 of Ripley, Ohio, died Friday, June 28, 2013 at Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia, Ohio. She was born April 30, 1965 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of Marianne (Trapp) Speed of Ripley and the late Richard Blackburn. She was also preceded in death by her son, Anthony Lewis Yockey.
Laura is survived by her husband Ronald H. Buzz Moffett; her mother and stepfather Marianne and John Speed of Ripley; one stepdaughter Heather Moffett; six brothers and sisters Pat McMahon (Pam) of Batavia, Ohio, Julie Blackburn of Ripley, Ricky Blackburn of Cincinnati, Ohio, Michael Blackburn of Ripley, Brian Blackburn of Ripley, Chad Blackburn of Ripley and Carrie Sprague (Joey) of Cincinnati, Ohio; four stepbrothers and stepsisters Kristi Sheeck of Ripley, Jenny Krack (Randy) of Dayton, Ohio, Mark Speed (Kandice) of Beavercreek, Ohio and Kerry Speed (Karen) of Florida; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Following cremation, a funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 5, 2013 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. A memorial visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. on Friday at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley. Interment will follow the funeral Mass in Hickory Ridge Cemetery near Ripley.
Ed Fath
(July 20, 1936 - June 26, 2013)
Edward (Ed) Fath, age 76 of rural Ripley, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Ripley. He was preceded in death by his wife of over fifty years, Edith and his brother Jim Fath. He is survived by four sisters JoAnn Fath, Janie Thompson, Shirley Bittner (Jim) and Carol Tate (Wayne); two brothers Bob Fath and Ron Fath (Ginny); sister-in-law Dee Mueller (Dan) and foster daughter, Fran Thomas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A retired carpenter, Eddie enjoyed spending time farming and in later years devoted much time and passion supporting the Ohio Tobacco Museum, the Tobacco Festival and numerous other community activities.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. on Friday, June 28, 2013 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Matthew Kinnett

Ronald Matthew Kinnett, age 35 of Sardinia, Ohio died Monday, June 24, 2013 at his residence. He was a welder for PJ Trailers. Matthew was born August 23, 1977 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Donna M. (Waits) Kinnett of Sardinia, Ohio and the late Ronald R. Kinnett.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Kinnett is survived by his wife, Kellie Kinnett; four children Kali Marie and Jacob Daniel Kinnett both of Sardinia, Ohio and Kollin Matthew and Kerigan Faith Kinnett both Winchester, Ohio; one sister Bethany Kinnett of Batavia, Ohio; two brothers Joshua Kinnett and Travis Kinnett both of Middletown, Ohio and paternal grandparents Ray and Inez Kinnett of Sardinia, Ohio.
Following cremation, memorial services will be held at 8:00 P.M. Friday, June 28, 2013 at the Sardinia Church of Christ in Sardinia, Ohio. Kevin Hamilton will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday at the church.
James Girton
(March 6, 1946 - June 23, 2013)
James David Girton, age 67 of Williamsburg, Ohio died Sunday, June 23, 2013 as a result from an automobile accident in Mt. Orab, Ohio. He was a retired engineer for the General Electric Company. James was born March 6, 1946 in Green Hills, Ohio the son of the late Clinton W. and Edna H. (DeJournette) Girton, Sr.. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister Margaret H. Gentry.
Mr. Girton is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Maggie (Cole) Girton; two sons Brad Girton and wife Angela of Fairfield, Ohio and Jeremy Girton and wife Angie of Greenfield, Ohio; three grandsons John, Ricky and James; three granddaughters Michaela, Lauren and Vayda; one great-grandson Keegan; five brothers and sisters Dorothy F. Gill and husband Fred of Harveysburg, Ohio, Clinton W, Girton, Jr. and wife Pat of Mt. Orab, Ohio, J. Bernice Gay and the late Barry of Milford, Ohio, Charles T. Girton of Galveston, Texas and Donald A. Girton of Hollywood, Florida and many nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, June 28, 2013 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Charles Smith will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Edward Louis Goecke
(October 28, 1944 - June 22, 2013)
Edward Louis Goecke, age 68 of Georgetown, Ohio died June 22, 2013 at his residence. He was retired from Cincinnati Milacron, Mt. Orab Plant after 43 years of service and a member of the St. Marys Catholic Church in Arnheim, Ohio and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Chapter #2293 of Georgetown, Ohio. Edward was born October 28, 1944 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of June Nita (Courts) Goecke of Georgetown, Ohio and the late Herman Goecke.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Goecke is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sherry (Weddle) Goecke whom he married May 1, 1965; two children Nina Marie Goecke Miller of Georgetown, Ohio and Kevin Louis Goecke and wife Sheri Lynn of Nashville, Tennessee; three sisters Donna Whitehead of Aopka, Florida, Sue Bradley and husband Dave of Camden, Tennessee and Teresa Liming and husband Dennis of Georgetown, Ohio; one brother Tony Goecke and wife Tess of Russellville, Ohio; five grandchildren - Karley Yvonne Miller, Mikayla Josephine Goecke, Kelsey Anna Miller, Andrew Louis Goecke and Juliana Marie Goecke and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the St. Marys Catholic Church in Arnheim, Ohio. Dohrman Byers will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 6:00 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown with Fraternal Order of Eagle service at 7:30 P.M. Interment will be in the St. Marys Cemetery in Arnheim, Ohio.

William David Reynolds
(December 2, 1937 - June 22, 2013)
William David Reynolds, age 75 of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman, Ohio. He worked in Electronics for the Paul Smith Company and was a United States Air Force Veteran. William was born December 2, 1937 in Orrville, Ohio the son of the late Edward N. and Irene M. (McCormick) Reynolds. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Lowell Reynolds and Richard Reynolds.
Mr. Reynolds is survived by his loving wife Phyllis J. (Fravenknecht) Reynolds; one sister-in-law, Nancy Reynolds of Orrville, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Cahall Funeral Home, Georgetown, Ohio. Gary Zornes will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. 2:00 P.M. Eugene Talley
(January 30, 1930 - June 22, 2013)
Eugene H. Talley, age 83, of Port Charlotte, Florida and formerly of Ripley, Ohio, died Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida. He worked at Cincinnati Milacron for forty years, was a part-time farmer and a member of the Ripley Church of Christ. Mr. Talley was born January 30, 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Harold and Julia (Poole) Talley. He was also preceded in death by his son, Rodney Talley; one brother Bill Talley and one sister Janet.
Mr.Talley is survived by his loving wife - Evelyn Talley; a grandson Nicholas Talley; a granddaughter Isabelle; three stepdaughters Gerri Gray of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Vickie Hehr of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Eydie Hubbard of Barbersville, Kentucky; nine step grandchildren; seventeen step-great-grandchildren; thirteen step-great-great-grandchildren; one brother Glenn Talley of New Richmond, Ohio and one sister Mary Jane.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 28, 2013 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. John Neu will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow the funeral service in Hickory Ridge Cemetery near Ripley.
John Allen Roberts
(June 3, 1947 - December 25, 2014)

John Allen Roberts, age 67 of Georgetown, Ohio and formerly of Manchester, Ohio died Thursday, December 25, 2014 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Roberts was a farmer and a United States Army Vietnam veteran. He was born June 3, 1947 in Foxport, Kentucky the son of the late Albert Kirk and Estelle May McCann. He was also preceded in death by one brother Kenneth Kirk and two sisters Thelma Thurman and Irene Kennard.
Mr. Roberts is survived by one daughter Karen M. Enriguez of Maysville, Kentucky; two sons Darrin A. Roberts of Manchester, Ohio and Josh Roberts of Maysville, Kentucky; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. 1:00 P.M.
