RUBOTTOM -- Graveside rites for Esther Helen Adams, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rubottom Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Williams officiating.
Mrs. Adams died Jan. 26, 1999, in a Seminole health care facility. She was born Sept. 6, 1911, at Jacksboro, Texas, to Edward L. and Sara J. Carlisle Qualls.
She married Alex Auld Aug. 24, 1927, and moved to Ada in 1985 from Gainesville, Texas, where she had lived since 1978. She was a nurse and member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband in 1974. She and Robert Adams were married July 27, 1963, in Tarrant County, Texas. He died in 1977. She was also preceded by two sons, Donald Auld, in 1983, and George Auld in September 1988; two brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include six grandchildren, Donna McEndree, Lubbock, Texas, Dennis Auld, Oklahoma City, Dale Auld, Seminole, Mark, Steve and Mike Auld, Shawnee; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Kennedy Funeral Home, Marietta, will direct services.
RINGLING -- Graveside memorial services for Christy Dawn Nell Patty, 28, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ringling Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Hancock officiating.
Mrs. Patty was born Aug. 11, 1969, to Jerry Edward and Linda Gayle Prentis Nell, at Wichita Falls, Texas. She died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998, in an Oklahoma City hospital.
Reared in Ringling, she graduated from Ringling High School in 1988 and attended Midwestern State University at Wichita Falls, where she received her degree in journalism. She was formerly employed at the attorney general's office in Wichita Falls.
She and Shannon L. Patty were married July 6, 1991, at Ringling, and made their home there. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Gayle Nell; and grandparents, Sherman and Thelma Nell.
Survivors include her husband, Shannon; and son, Dustin Chase Patty of the home in Ringling; her father and stepmother, Jerry and Nancy Nell of Iowa Park, Texas; a sister, Tifini Phelps, Ringling; and niece, Ramsey Phelps, Ringling; two brothers, Jeremy and Cody Nell, Iowa Park; and grandparents, Bobby and Ella Mae Hammons and Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Prentis, all of Ringling.
Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church Preschool, 4th and H Street, Ringling, OK 73456.
Services will be directed by Alexander Funeral Home.
MANNSVILLE -- Services for Edna Dorer, 84, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Mannsville Assembly of God Church with the Rev. James Tynes officiating. Interment will be at Lone Cedar Cemetery under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill.
Mrs. Dorer died Jan. 27, 1998, at the Denison, Texas, hospital following a sudden illness. She was born Jan. 15, 1914, at Mannsville.
A lifetime resident of Mannsville, she married Alfred Dorer Dec. 15, 1934, here and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 5, 1983; two sons, Alvin and Albert; two brothers, Bob and Bill Loftis; and two sisters, Clellie Lowrey and Haskell Wright.
She is survived by a sister, Inez Dollar, Healdton.
Bearers will be Mutt Cothran, Paul and Walter Elledge, Ricky, Raymond, Ronnie and Dall Peoples.
MARIETTA -- Services for Odessa F. Tate, 81, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Eastside Baptist Church with the Rev. Andy Walters officiating. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home.
Born Jan. 17, 1917, in Garvin County, to Frank and Etta Williams Neal, Mrs. Tate died Jan. 26, 1998, in the Ardmore hospital.
Married to Edgar Tate Dec. 15, 1933, at Elmore City, she had lived in Ardmore since 1957, moving there from Marietta. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 28, 1981; a son, Dale on June 11, 1993; three brothers, John, Howard and Bill Neal; and four sisters, Ora Smith, Nellie Griffith, Edith Lynn and Fleeta Carmean Neal.
Survivors include four sons, Kenny, Ardmore, Billy, Haltom City, Texas, Johnny and Robert, Euless, Texas; six daughters, Cindy Freeman, Duncan, Shirley Eyster, Justin, Texas, Beverly Carmon and Iona Skidmore, Marietta, JoAnn Shaffer and Sue Whittington, Thackerville; five sisters, Flora Cohagen, Kilgore, Texas, Dean Mingus, Odessa, Texas, Alma Price, Juanita Ratcliff and Esther Cooper, Upland, Calif.; 27 grandchildren; several great, great-great and great-great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as bearers.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
TISHOMINGO -- Graveside rites for John William Fletcher were scheduled for 10 a.m. today at Tishomingo Cemetery with the Rev. Lisa Crone officiating.
Born Sept. 17, 1901, in Brandon, Texas, to William B. and Ida Foster Fletcher, he died Jan. 27, 1998, in the local hospital.
He was chairman of the language arts department at Murray State College before he retired. The college auditorium was named in his honor. He was a Methodist.
He is survived by a sister, Lovene Franklin. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary Margaret Whitsett in May of 1938.
Smith Funeral Home directed services.
Graveside services for Gladys Marie Pelton will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rose Hill Cemetery with the Rev. M.E. Dickenson officiating.
Mrs. Pelton was born April 11, 1920, in Ardmore, to Charles and Virginia Cordelia Ross Pelton. She died Jan. 18, 1999, in the local hospital.
Mrs. Pelton had lived in the Ardmore area all her life and retired from Daube's Department Store as a sales clerk after 46 years of service.
She is survived by a niece and her husband, Carol and Richard Epperson, of the home; a nephew, Dennis Pelton of Wilson; two great-nephews, Adam Epperson of Ardmore, and John Epperson of Sherman, Texas; a great-niece, Rikita Morris of Baum; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a niece and her daughters, Joyce, Julie, Suzie Fitchenau in December of 1972; and five brothers, Jim, Carroll, Charles, Hubert and Raymond Pelton.
Craddock Funeral Home will direct services.
Graveside rites for Prescilla Ann Wilson were at 11 a.m. today at Clearview Cemetery with Samuel L. Jackson officiating.
Mrs. Wilson died Jan. 15, 1999, in the local hospital. She was born Dec. 16, 1955, in Ardmore, to Arizona Wilson.
She was a lifetime resident of Ardmore and a member of East Main Church of Christ.
She is survived by her mother, Arizona; two daughters, Valorie E. Wilson, Tulsa, and Dinisha C. Wilson; a sister, Dinisha D. Wilson, Oklahoma City; a brother, Charlie Wilkins; and four grandchildren.

DAVIS -- Services for Christine B. Carson, 78, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Davis First Baptist Church with the Rev. Finis Steelman officiating. Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery under the direction of Aaron-Krien Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carson died Jan. 18, 1999, in Davis. She was born June 30, 1920, at Glenn, to Hobart M. and Ethel Trail Baxter.
Reared in Graham and Fox, she moved to Salem, Ill., in 1939, to New Mexico in 1954, to the Austin, Texas, area before moving to Davis in the 1970s. She was a Baptist and member of Eastern Star. She married Wendell Waters Dec. 24, 1937, at Wynnewood. He died in 1962. She and Lewis Carson were married Sept. 3, 1967, at Kennedy. He died in 1969.
She is survived by a daughter, Carole Shirey, Austin, Texas; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded by a sister, Katherine LeCrone; brother, James Baxter; and daughter, Linda M. Phillips.
TISHOMINGO -- Services for Lucinda Mae Williams will be at 1 p.m. today at Tishomingo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Vincent Stephens officiating. Interment will be at Holly Springs Cemetery in Fillmore.
Mrs. Williams died Jan. 13, 1999, at her residence. She was born May 5, 1910, at Fillmore, to Alfred and Charlotte Harkins.
She was a lifetime resident of Fillmore and Tishomingo and was a member of C.M.E. Methodist Church, and later attended First Baptist Church. She married Ambry Williams in March 1933, at Tishomingo. He preceded her in death in 1986.
Survivors include two sons, Clarence, Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Alford, Decatur, Ill.; two daughters, Margaret Hampton and Barbara Daniels, Rodeo, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Ragsdale-Grant and Sons Mortuary will direct services.
MARIETTA -- Funeral services for Winston "Buddy" Hughes will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Tommy Higle, the Rev. Steve Gardner and Bro. Daniel Gaither will officiate. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery.
Mr. Hughes was born Sept. 22, 1926, in Love County, Okla., to Robert Hughes Sr. and Juanita Embry Hughes. He passed away Sunday afternoon, Jan. 17, 1999, at his residence, at the age of 72 years, three months and 25 days.
Mr. Hughes lived all his life in Love County. He married Christine Robinson on Nov. 25, 1947, at Gainesville, Texas. He was a self-employed bulldozer operator. He attended First Baptist Church of Marietta. He enjoyed playing dominoes and played several musical instruments, appearing with his fiddle and guitar at gatherings such as Marietta's annual Frontier Days contests, street dances, VFW Halls, as well as Wilson and Ringling benefits. Mr. Hughes was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hughes Sr., in 1964; his mother, Juanita Hughes, in 1991; a daughter, Mary Ruth Hughes, in 1955; a son, Johnny Lee Hughes, in 1960; and brother, Leonard Hughes, in 1962.
Survivors include his wife, Christine, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Winston "Dumpy" and LaDonna Hughes, Healdton, Eddie and Jennifer Hughes, Marietta; four daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry Whitmore, Marietta, Margie and Gary Vineyard, Mannsville, Neda Grace and Dana Wilson, and Christy and Lonnie Cavitt Jr., Marietta; three brothers, Austin Hughes and Robert Hughes Jr., Marietta, and Ernest Hughes, Madill; four sisters, Estlena Stuckey, Madill, Genita Goddard, Oklahoma City, Ruby Owens and Dorothy Clifton, Marietta; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Eric Hughes, Adam Hughes, Charlie Hughes, Paul Riley, Jackie Bean and Dale Lay. Honorary bearers are R.F. Dees, Earl Danker, Buddy Powell, Eddie Hughes, Jr., Willard Burton, Richard Cain and Willard Willis.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at Kennedy Funeral Home.
IRVING, Texas -- Graveside rites for Ola M. Schilling, Ardmore, were Saturday at Oak Grove Cemetery in Irving, Texas.
Mrs. Schilling died Jan. 13, 1999, in Ardmore. She was born July 17, 1921, at Welchberg, Ky.
She was the wife of the late John Schilling.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Swan, Ardmore; two sons, Charles, Houston, and John Jr., Irving; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Chism-Smith Funeral Home directed services.
HEALDTON -- Services for Allene Coulter, 95, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Reser Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Russell Cheatham officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Ardmore.
Mrs. Coulter died Jan. 15, 1999, in an Ardmore health care facility after an extended illness. She was born Aug. 13, 1903, in Marlow.
She graduated from Central State University and was a teacher at Santa Fe. She married Nat Coulter April 3, 1927, at Marlow and lived in several towns following his oil field work. Her husband preceded her in death Oct. 13, 1972.
She is survived a son, Don A., Longwood, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
DAVIS -- Services for Pearl Stone Whatley will be 2 p.m. today at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Finis Steelman officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
Born Jan. 15, 1915, at Lexington to Andy and Jettie Willis Cox, she died Jan. 14, 1999, at Ardmore. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Chester Stone and Cecil Whatley; one son, Calvin Stone; three sisters, Ruby Greeson, Velma Kilmer and Juanita Kilmer; and one granddaughter.
Survivors include six daughters, Wiltse Armstrong, Harrison, Mich., Tanna Sanders and Portia Warren, Davis, Lanna Jones, Wynnewood, Dixie Finley, Oklahoma City, Charlotte Hess, Chickasha; one son, Billy Wayne Whatley, Davis; two sisters, Margaret Calahan, Patterson, Calif., and Edna Thompson, Chandler, Ariz., 17 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Bearers are sons-in-law.
McMILLIAN -- Graveside rites for Eliza Jane Mose were 2 p.m. Saturday at McMillian Cemetery with Jimmy Royal officiating.
Born Jan. 10, 1913, at Reagan to Allen and Icy Wilson Brown, she died Jan. 14, 1999, at Tishomingo. She married Vernon Mose on March 7, 1942, at Madill. He preceded her in death in 1989. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Pearl Carolyn Wilson Keel; and one brother, Cyrus Mose Wilson.
Mrs. Mose had lived in Ardmore since 1990, moving from McMillian. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pickens Baptist Church.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Services are under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.
