WILSON -- Funeral services for Gladys Lavern Willett, 59, Honey Grove, Texas, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Assembly of God Church with Brother W.T. McFarland officiating. Interment will be at Reck Cemetery.
Born Aug. 12, 1938, at Orr, to Joseph and Vina Tyner Burk, Mrs. Willett entered into eternal life with our beloved Lord Nov. 5, 1997, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas.
Our beloved wife, mother and friend will be missed and forever be in our hearts.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Temple Willett Jr.; a son, Kenneth and his wife, Judy; six daughters, Deborah, Lillian, Tona, Timmie, Mary and her husband Ron, Lanell and her husband Kenny; her mother, Vina Elizabeth Burk; two brothers; three sisters; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Serving as bearers will be grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home.
Services for Rayburn Lee Chappell, 85, will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Harvey-Douglas Chapel with the Rev. David Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Born Jan. 23, 1912, at San Angelo, Texas, to Oliver and Nannle West Chappell, he died Nov. 7, 1997, at a local hospital following an extended illness.
Chappell married Lettie Coplin on July 23, 1937, at Memphis, Texas. They returned to Ardmore in 1973 after living in California for 35 years. Chappell had owned and operated a dry cleaning business in California. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Temple, Masonic Lodge 242 AF & AM, and the Amaleka Temple Shrine. Chappell had recently received his 50-year pin as a 32nd degree mason from the lodge in Santa Barbara, Calif.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, R.L. Jr., Mesquite, Texas, and Donald, Van, Texas; two daughters, Jacque Perkins, Oxnard, Calif., and Minion Bean, Warren, Texas; two brothers, Wilton W., Santa Maria, Calif., and Jerry, Gilbert, Ariz.; five sisters, Rowena Ladd, Lompoc, Calif., Gayle Witt, Rogue River, Ore., Mary Helen Bailey, Sarasota, Fla., Anita Ruth Hochstetler, Santa Barbara, and Glenna Nell Gudgeon, Lompoc; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Michael O'Brien, Leon Williams, Royce Stanberry, Wayne, David and Steve Chappell. Honorary bearers include Ricky Chappell, Larry Thompson, Charles Padon and Ray Gaspard.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
HEALDTON -- Services for Olin A. DeLano, 85, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Reser Funeral Home Chapel with John Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery.
Born Jan. 5, 1912, at Prairie Grove, Ark., to William A. and Pearlina "Gammy" Farmer DeLano, he died Nov. 7, 1997, at his home. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis, on July 12, 1993.
DeLano graduated from Drumright High School in 1932. He married Myrtle Lorene Gober on Dec. 24, 1936, at Drumright. He was a chief gauger in the oil field, retiring in 1977.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; three sons, William O., Healdton, Gale, Ekron, Ky., and John L., Lone Grove; two daughters, Loretta Jean Way and Janie Simon, both Healdton; 20 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Bearers are grandsons, Tony Choate, Miles Way, Danny Long, Steven DeLano, Jonathan McAlister, Benny Fletcher, Mike Simon and Shawn Choate. Honorary bearers are Charles Long, Speck Morrow, Lyndel Awtry, Charlene Ingram, Orvil Kennedy, Lewis Morris and Leo Lambert.

TISHOMINGO -- Services for Henry "Lit" Heath, 89, will be 2 p.m. today in the Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bill Howard officiating. Interment will be at Connerville Cemetery.
Born Aug. 15, 1908, at Palasious, Texas, to Harmon and Lizzie Heath, he died Nov. 7, 1997, at Collinsville, Texas. He married Ella Mae Fenley on Aug. 27, 1932, at Conroe, Texas. She preceded him in death in April 1997. He was also preceded in death by a son, Henry Heath Jr.; three sisters, Beulah Lewis, Grace Slaughter and Ida Brooks; and two brothers, Jack and Bill.
Heath had been a resident of Connerville for the past 51 years. He worked for Byrd Grocery Store and The Houston Ship Yard.
Survivors include two sons, James L., Shreveport, La., and George, Connerville; one daughter, Mozelle Mize, Collinsville; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
GENE AUTRY -- Services for Donna Lavon Heartsill were Saturday at Gene Autry Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Elmore officiating. Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery, Ardmore.
Mrs. Heartsill died Nov. 5, 1997, in an Oklahoma City hospital after an extended illness. She was born Feb. 16, 1937, at Seminole to Carl R. and Juanita Goss Liggett.
A longtime resident of Ardmore, she graduated from high school in 1955 and was a retired merchandising assistant for J.C. Penney. She and Paul Keith Heartsill were married Aug. 5, 1955, at Gainesville, Texas. He preceded her in death Aug. 23, 1990.
She is survived by three daughters, Theresa Haggard, Gene Autry, Rebecca Kaszubowski, Vancouver, Wash., and Paula Deroche, Ardmore; a son, Robert K., Ardmore; two brothers, Brad Liggett, Ardmore, and Roger Paynter, Austin, Texas; two sisters, Laura Flint and Maita Smith, Siloam Springs, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Bearers were Rusty Heartsill, Michale Haggard, Brad Liggett, Bryce Bush, Rebecca and Ron Kaszubowski. Honorary bearers are Bill Mote, Eddie Norman and Burt Tucker.
Craddock Funeral Home directed services.
MARIETTA -- Services for Revere Franklin, 73, will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Wallace officiating. Interment will follow at Prairieview Cemetery.
Born June 4, 1924, at Kerens, Texas, to Columbus and Louise Franklin, he died Nov. 7, 1997, at the Marietta hospital. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Langston, Crema, Columbus E. and Sylvester; six sisters, Betty L. Franklin, Ida L. Jones, Novella Franklin, Della Mae Franklin, Minnie Franklin and Ella Granberry; and a grandson.
Franklin lived in Love County for the past 32 years. He married Imajean Jones on May 21, 1954, at Wichita Falls, Texas. Franklin was a self-employed landscaper. He attend the Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Revere Franklin Jr., Madill, and Trenile Washington, of the home; one daughter, Wanda Faye Wills, Marietta; two granddaughters; one stepgranddaughter; and two grandsons.
Bearers are Will Jones, Charles Jones, Leonard Stevenson, Terry Smith, Eugene Rambo and Billy Rambo.
Services are under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home.
BURNEYVILLE -- Memorial services for Warren G. Wiggs, 51, will be 2:30 p.m. today at Falconhead Christian Fellowship Chapel with Brother Murray McMurray officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Sill Post Cemetery, Lawton.
Born Aug. 30, 1946, at San Antonio, Texas, to W.N. "Sarge" and Bonnie Barnes Wiggs, he died Nov. 6, 1997, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father on June 24, 1994; and a sister, Willajean Nichols, in 1982.
Wiggs had lived at Falconhead for the past 15 years, moving from Dallas. He graduated from Midwest City High School and attended Oklahoma Christian College. Wiggs attended Thackerville Community Church of Christ. He was a security guard at Falconhead and was previously employed with Red River Ranch in sales-office management for 10 years.
Survivors include his mother, of the home; and a daughter, Wendy Wiggs, Concord, Calif.
Memorials may be made to the Tipton Orphan Home, of Tipton or Falconhead Memorial Gardens.
Services are under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home.
Services for Bobby Stidham, 40, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Harvey-Douglas Chapel with the Rev. Leroy Holman officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Stidham died Nov. 8, 1997, in Ardmore where he was born July 14, 1957, to D.J. and Juanita Yarbrough Stidham.
He was employed by Goodyear Tire Co. for a number of years and was a member of Maranatha Freewill Baptist Church. He and Shirlene Adams were married Jan. 29, 1982, at Goldthwaite, Texas.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Brett Allen; and daughter, Melissa KayLuann, all of the home; three brothers, James, Roy and Danny, all of Ardmore; seven sisters, Diane Miller, Mannsville, Frances West, Mary F. Murphy, Bertha Parlier, Dorothy Bray, Doris Lambeth and Shauna Stidham, all of Ardmore. He was preceded in death by a twin brother, Billy Bob; and his parents.
Bearers will be Daniel Lambeth, Michael Thomas, Jay Wallace, James Caldwell, Johnny and Jerry Doughty.
Graveside rites for David Patrick Todd, 30, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Provence Cemetery with the Rev. Wade Paschal officiating.
Born April 8, 1967, in Orange County, Calif., to M.F. and Lola L. Duggins Todd, he died Nov. 8, 1997, at his residence.
He and Debra Hembree were married March 16, 1990, in Ardmore.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Noah Patrick, Dylan Jonas and Quinton James; and daughter, Gracey Lee, all of the home; a brother, Bill, Ardmore; and three sisters, Maria Carlson, Seekonk, Mass., Sharon Clark and Kendy Todd, Ardmore. He was preceded in death by his father in 1979; and his mother in 1987.
Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home will direct services.
MILL CREEK -- Services for Eunice Faye Smith, 60, were scheduled for 2 p.m. today at the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Mill Creek with the Rev. Jerry George officiating. Interment was at Troy Cemetery under the direction of Corbin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith died Nov. 6, 1997, at Ravia. She was born July 21, 1937, at Wewoka, to Henry A. and Trudy L. Prewitt Grant.
She attended school at Mill Creek and had been a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church several years. She and Ebbin R. Smith were married in February 1970 at Gainesville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Raymond W.; three sisters, Laverni Grant, Vicki Barger and Mae Coleman; and two brothers, Robert Grant and James Brock.
Survivors are two sons, Ebbin Jr., Mill Creek, and Steven, Ravia; a daughter, Trudy Richardson, Ravenna, Texas; a brother, R.L. Grant, Tishomingo; a sister, Janice Coleman, Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Bearers were Ronald Coleman, Murl Phillips, William Gibson, Kenny Riddle, Teddy Lenard and Bobby Grant.
MARIETTA -- Services for Nettie Barnes Dove, 89, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kennedy Funeral Home chapel with Jerry Harper officiating. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery.
Mrs. Dove died Nov. 10, 1997, in a Fort Worth, Texas, hospital. She was born June 20, 1908, at Aspermont, Texas, to Cheley E. and Leola A. Pope Strickland.
She was a Methodist and had lived in Fort Worth before moving to Crowley, Texas, 10 years ago. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert Barnes, on July 7, 1977, and her second husband, N.B. Dove, who died Sept. 25, 1987.
Survivors include two sons, Gene Barnes, Papillion, Neb., and Marvin Barnes, Fort Worth; daughters, Dorothy Pedigo, Crowley, and Betty Smith, Fort Worth; a stepson, Sid Dove, Fort Worth; a sister, Irene Medart, Gainesville, Texas; a brother, W.H. "Dub" Strickland, Marietta; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Bearers will be Tony Berumen, Minh Nguyen, Larry Smith, Jason, Burlie and Tommy Pedigo.
SULPHUR -- Services for Burney Franklin Conyer, 79, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Clagg Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Leroy Holman officiating. Interment will be at Buckhorn Cemetery.
Conyer died Nov. 11, 1997, in Sulphur. He was born Jan. 12, 1918, at Gilsonite, to Charlie W. and Lucinda Fitzgerald Conyer.
He had lived in this area all his life and was a retired heavy equipment operator for the City of Ardmore. He and Lois Preast were married Oct. 2, 1937, at Sulphur. He was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; five daughters, Jean Rider and Laura Cooksey, McAlester, Sharon Barksdale, Jannette Noble and Ellen Farve, Gene Autry; three sons, Robert, Arlington, Texas, James, Sulphur, and Ronnie, Ardmore; a brother, John, Stafford, Ariz.; 25 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Billy Joe and Burney Gene; and a daughter, Velma Lou.
Bearers will be Morgan Presley, Jason Conyer, Cory Sherfield, Chad Barksdale, Dustin Drew and Robert Conyer Jr. Honorary bearers are Charles Bristol, Todd Barksdale, Anthony and Rodney Farve, Aaron Conyer and James Conyer Jr.
MAYSVILLE -- Services for Wilson native Sylvia Joyce Timberlake were Monday at First United Methodist Church in Maysville. Interment was at Maysville Cemetery under the direction of Winans Funeral Home.
Mrs. Timberlake died Nov. 8, 1997, in the Purcell hospital. She was born Dec. 23, 1928, at Wilson, to Paul and Velta Eastwood Frost.
Reared in Wilson, she married J.P. Timberlake there Oct. 3, 1944, and they moved to Maysville in 1944. She worked for Zanola Dry Goods before she and her husband bought Willis Rexall Drug company which they operated 18 years. She was later employed by the Pauls Valley State School.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two daughters, Barbara Morphew, Kingston, and Evelyn Wooten, Jenks; her mother, Velta Frost, Wilson; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
