Hulon D. Barnes
RINGLING -- Memorial services for Hulon D. Barnes will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ringling Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Carroll officiating.
Barnes died May 17, 1998, in the local hospital. He was born March 15, 1943, at Ringling, to Ottis and Muriel Barnes.
He was a welder and of the Assembly of God denomination.
Survivors include a brother, Dean, Wilson; sisters, Linda Moore, Tulsa, and Charlene Bourns, Ardmore. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy L. and Jackie D. Barnes.
Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home will direct services.

Cecil A.R. Vanderburg
WILSON -- Private funeral services for Cecil A.R. Vanderburg, 80, were at 1 p.m. Monday at his residence in Wilson.
Vanderburg died May 14, 1998, in the Marietta hospital. He was born Nov. 16, 1917, at Roff, to Oscar E. and Ada E. Osborne Vanderburg.
Reared in Clemscott, he served in the Army during World War II and had lived in Wilson since 1982. Before he retired he worked at several bakeries and at the Family Kitchen in Ardmore. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Stanley, Fred and Emmett.
Survivors include a son, Cecil Vance, Thackerville; two brothers, Aubrey, Loco, and Aaron, Milo; two sisters, Evalee Norwood, Crescent City, and Viola Stoker, Ringling; and three grandchildren.
Alexander Funeral Home directed services.

Roy Harlen Lewis
Services for Roy Harlen Lewis, 64, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Harvey-Douglas Chapel with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Born to William and Effie Howard Lewis Feb. 22, 1934, at Kilgore, Texas, Lewis died May 19, 1998 in the local hospital.
A resident of Ardmore for 60 years, moving here from Kilgore, he graduated from Dickson High School in 1953, he received his bachelor's degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1957 and his master's degree from that university in 1972. Lewis taught school 35 years in New Mexico, Texas, and at the Greenville school in Love County 24 years. He served six years in the Army Reserves, was a Love County 4-H leader and was a member of First Baptist Church and American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; and two daughters, Brooklyn and Rachel Mae Lewis, all of the home; a stepdaughter, Meghann D. Badilla, Ardmore; a stepson, Gene Allen, Fort Smith, Ark.; a brother, Howard, Ardmore; and five stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
Bearers will be Ron Worthen, Ben Owens, Steve Wells, John Black, Dr. Robert Hughes and Pat Burney. Honorary bearers are Bill Jobe, Dr. Garland Clay, Haskell Dighton, Dr. Maxwell Snedegar and Howard Lewis.

Lillian West Moore
Funeral services for Lillian West Moore, 75, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Duck officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore was born to the late Elick and Nettie Kendrick on July 1, 1922, at Corsicana, Texas. She died at her residence on May 19, 1998.
Mrs. Moore had lived in Ardmore most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lester West, in 1953; and Melvin Moore, in 1970.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Brown of Ardmore; a brother, Thirl Kendrick of Ardmore; two sisters, Bennie Webb of Louisiana, and Louise Smith of Arizona; a nephew, Roy D. Marris; nieces, Brenda O'Dell and Pam Gilmore; and a grandson, Shawn Muse.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Allen, Jacky Butts, Roy D. and Steven Marris, Shawn Manning and Bill Severs.

Lillie M. Harrison
PROVENCE -- Graveside services for Lillie Mae Harrison were scheduled for 10 a.m. today at Provence Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Smee officiating.
Mrs. Harrison died May 20, 1998, in Ardmore. She was born Nov. 26, 1914, at Rogers, Ark., to Sam and Nance Oxford.
She was the widow of Harvey Williams and John H. Harrison.
Survivors include three sons, Joe Williams, Oklahoma City, Charles Williams, Ardmore, and Mark Williams, Norman; a brother, Sammy Oxford, Houston; and several grandchildren.
Craddock Funeral Home directed services.

W.L. 'Larry' Eakin
Services for W. L. "Larry" Eakin will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Richard Hopper and Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
William Lawrence Eakin was born Aug. 4, 1906, at Petersburg, Indian Territory, to W.E. and Rennie Bourland Eakin. He died May 1, 1998 following an extended illness. He was married to Ora Mae Martin on Feb. 22, 1929, at Duncan. She preceded him in death on Jan. 25, 1987. He also was preceded in death by his son, Larry Eakin, Jr.
He had owned and operated the Larry Eakin Lumber Company at Healdton for many years. While living at Healdton he was a member of the chamber of commerce, Retail Merchants and served as president of the Lions Club. He was also a long-time city council member and served as director of the Bank of Healdton. He and his wife moved to Ardmore from Healdton in 1959. Larry was deacon and an active member of the First Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Survivors include, three grandchildren, Trey, Phoenix, Michelle, San Antonio, Texas, and Kristi, Dallas.
Bearers are Walter McAnally, Emmett Hudgins, John DeHart, Harold McMillian, Charles Stanley and James Duty.
Services are under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.

Myrtle Bowron
Services for Myrtle Bowron, 96, will be 11 a.m. Monday at the First Orthodox Baptist Church with the Revs. Robert D. Lee and Bob Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Born Nov. 1, 1901, at Eastman, Love County, Indian Territory, to Lemuel Jack and Ella Rasberry Hickman, she died April 30, 1998, at a Calera nursing facility following an extended illness. She married Ralph Bowron on Oct. 5, 1949 at Gainesville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 2, 1988; and three sons, T.A., Arnold and Vernon Rambo.
Mrs. Bowron had lived in Ardmore since 1943 and moved to Calera in 1996. She was a member of the First Orthodox Baptist Church.
Survivors include 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will be bearers.
Memorials may be made to the First Orthodox Baptist Church.
Services are under the direction of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.

Glessie M. Nelson
HENNEPIN-- Graveside rites for Glessie M. Nelson 81, Pruitt City were 2 p.m. Saturday at Hennepin Cemetery with the Rev. Dwight Hawkins officiating.
Born Nov. 11, 1916, at Pruitt City to William L. and Estelle McNeil Martin, she died April 30, 1998, at an Ardmore hospital after a lengthy illness. She married Chester A. Nelson on Jan. 17, 1935. She was preceded in death by her husband in September 1957 and two sons, Jerry Joe Nelson, September 1935, and Jack Nelson on July 2, 1962.
Mrs. Nelson attended Kemp Schools and lived in the area all of her life. She attended the Ratliff City First Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Sue Cooper, Ratliff City, Diana Moore, Pernell, and Tammy Anderson, Fox; on son, Richard Nelson, Ratliff City; two brothers, Guy and Bill Martin, both Ratliff City; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Bearers were Dennis Camp, Gerald Martin, Paul Ray Martin, Buster Martin, Jim Martin and Charles Ray Calger.
Services were under the direction of Reser Funeral Home.

Molly Risso
DURANT -- Services for Molly Risso, 64, will be 2 p.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church with Dr. William Guilford and the Rev. Ross B. Kirven officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
Born July 5, 1933, at Dallas to Robert Addison and Ruth Haynes Riley, she died May 1, 1998, in the Durant hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ruth Haynes Riley, in 1931.
Ms. Risso was a professor and the director of theater at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and founding artistic director for the Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival. She was a member of the Southwestern Theater Conference and Oklahoma Community Theater Association. She had attended American College Theater Festival, and the Red River Arts Council. She earned her bachelor's degree from Austin College, Sherman, Texas, her master's degree from the University of Colorado , Boulder, Colo. and her doctorate from Texas Tech, Lubbock, Texas.
Survivors include one daughter, Riley Haynes Risso, Durant, two sons, John Riley Risso, Durant, and Richard David Risso Jr., Tacoma, Wa.; and one sister, Sally Echols, Lake Kiowa, Texas.
Bearers are Michael Miles, Jim Wintle, C.W. Mangum, Jim Pate, Joe Taylor, Greg Clay, Charles Villinies and Dennis Letts. Honorary bearers are John Slice, Howard Starke, OSF Board, Ray Julian, Eudis St. John, SOSU Theater students, Jim Morris and Mark Morrison.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home.

Anna Marie Fulton
SULPHUR -- Graveside rites for Anna Marie Fulton, 78, were 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Oaklawn Cemetery with the Rev. Thom Balmer officiating.
Born April 7, 1920, at Taylor, Texas, to John Albert and Edia Irene Gustafson Johnson, she died May 1, 1998 at Oklahoma City. She married James Thomas Fulton on March 4, 1943 at Midland, Texas. He preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 1987. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jim Fulton; one sister, Jeanette Watt and a grandson.
Mrs. Fulton grew up in Taylor, Texas. She graduated from Texas Women's University in 1944. She taught school in Midland for two years and at Sulphur for 25 years until her retirement. Mrs. Fulton was a member of the Shepherd of the Hill Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Schwake, Oklahoma City, and Christine Foster, Moore; and three grandchildren.
Services were directed by Clagg Funeral Home.

Eva Lee Lahman Tolbert
HEALDTON -- Services for Eva Lee Lahman Tolbert, 93, Bowie, Texas, were 4 p.m. Saturday at Reser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Keck officiating. Interment followed at Loco Cemetery.
Born Feb. 1, 1906, at Pochahontas, Ark., to Arthur and Martha Campbell Welch, she died April 30, 1998, at Bowie. She married Richard W. Lahman on Jan. 24, 1923, at Ardmore. She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 11, 1960. She married Marvin L. Tolbert on May 5, 1961. He preceded her in death in the 1970s. She was also preceded in death by a son, Richard W. Lahman Jr., June 4, 1988; and a daughter, Violet Marie Williams, Dec. 28, 1993.
Mrs. Tolbert moved to this area with her family in 1907. She later moved to Cushing and then to Bowie. She was a charter member of the Fox Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Joe H. Lahman, Bowie; two daughters, Billie Sue Crawford, Adelanto, Calif., and Adell Pratt, Duncan; two sisters, Thelma Nations, Lindsay, and Mary McLain, Lone Grove; one brother, Vernon Welch, Duncan; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Ronald Lahman, John Lahman, Richard Lee Williams, Don Reaves, Jim Hoefgre and Randy Carr.

Alice G. Trammell Brannan
JOPLIN, MO. -- Graveside rites for Alice G. Trammell Brannan, 68, will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Ozark Memorial Cemetery.
Born Sept. 9, 1929, at Ranger, Texas, to Earl and Ollie Chron Trammell, she died April 30, 1998.
As a young child she moved with her parents to Healdton. She attended Healdton schools until 1946. She married Harry Herbert Brannan in 1946 and moved to Ardmore. She graduated from Ardmore High School in 1947. She moved to Tulsa in 1955. She was a housewife until 1964, when she attended practical nursing school and received her license. She worked as an L.P.N. for more than 30 years. Earlier this year she moved to Seneca, Mo.
Survivors include two sons, Byce Brannan, Bixby, and Dana Brannan, Neosho, Mo.; one daughter, Harriet O'Daniel, Healdton; one sister, Sue Prater, Linville, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.

Robert Lee Robinson
RAVIA -- Services for Robert Lee Robinson, 32, will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of God with the Revs. Loy Elkins and Danny McGehee officiating. Interment will follow at Ravia Cemetery.
Born July 10, 1965, at Oklahoma City to Ray and Peggy Deering Robinson, he died April 30, 1998, at Tishomingo.
Robinson was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include his mother, of the home; his father, Oklahoma City; two brothers, Paul Edward Robinson, Madill, and Kenneth Robinson, Ravia; two sisters, Tammy Lynne Alsup and Donnie Armstrong, both Oklahoma City; his grandfather, Bert Deering, Ravia; and his grandmother, Besse Smith, Oklahoma City.
Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
