RINGLING -- Services for Waymon F. Hodges, 80, are pending with Reser Funeral Home.
Hodges died Oct. 3, 1998, at his home after a lengthy illness.
Survivors include his wife, Dortha, of the home; two sons, Gale Smith, Grady, and Jack Hodges, Ryan; one daughter, Patricia Reid, Grady; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
ORR -- Graveside rites for Fern L. Roberts, 82, Ringling will be 2 p.m. today at Orr Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Carroll officiating.
Born April 28, 1916, at Claremore to O.J. and Sally Crane Cox, she died Oct. 2, 1998, at Ardmore. She married Earl Roberts on Nov. 2, 1941, at Waurika. He preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 1980. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Love, in 1994.
Mrs. Roberts spent her younger years growing up at Graham, Texas, where she graduated from high school. She and her husband moved to Orr and lived there until moving to Ringling in 1958.
Survivors include three sons, Earl J. Roberts, Sulphur, Bert Roberts, Ringling, and Audie Roberts, Ringling; one daughter-in-law, Linda Roberts, Ringling; one stepson, Floy Roberts, Gainesville, Texas; one sister, Lola Thompson, Salpulpa; grandchildren, Craig Roberts, Duncan, Brian and Donna Roberts, Lone Grove, Shelby Roberts, LaFuente, Calif., Kip and Kevin Lyons, Lone Grove; great-grandchildren, Jessica and Jordan Roberts, Velma, Keagan and Kodie Roberts, Lone Grove, Kayla and Dia Scarbrough, Lone Grove, Jamie Castele, Lone Grove, and Andrew Logan Roberts, Velma; and several nieces and nephews.
Bearers are W.J. Myrick, Buddy Myrick, Joe Laverne Roberts, Ken Roberts, Brent Thompson and Red Steele.
Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home.
Services for Drexel Vanoy Haynes will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville, Texas.
Born Nov. 1, 1955, at Fort Worth, Texas, to Floyd and Erma Swanson Haynes, he died Sept. 30, 1998, at a Madill hospital. He was preceded in death by his father on Sept. 13, 1997.
Haynes, who had been a resident of Ardmore since 1968, lived the last few months of his life at Lebanon. He was an employee of G&G Woodworks. A graduate of Dickson High School in 1974, Haynes was a member of the Southwest Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Melanie Ann Haynes, Ardmore; his mother, Ardmore; and one sister, Twila Haynes Johnson, Martinez, Calif.
Bearers are Ronnie Squyres, Michael Ward, Jerry Ward, Dewayne Payne, Joe McDonald and Phillip Griffith.
Services are under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.
WAURIKA -- Services for Minnie M. Phelps, 91, are pending with Willis C. Worley and Sons Funeral Home.
Ms. Phelps died Oct. 3, 1998, at a Lawton hospital following an extended illness.
Services for Mary Corbett, 66, are pending at Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home.
She was born Jan. 24, 1932, at Mississippi to James and Jimmie Young, she died Oct. 3, 1998.
Survivors include sons, David, Edmond, Bruce, Dallas, and Glenn, Ardmore; one daughter, Cheryl, Ardmore; brothers, David Young, Boston, Oliver Young, McComb, Miss., and Paul Young, Wyoming; sisters, Martha Brown, Las Vegas, and Janice Brett, Jacksonville, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
RINGLING -- Services for Nan Fore, 66, Healdton, will be at 3 p.m. today at the Church of Jesus Christ - Gospel Tabernacle with Jimmy Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Ringling Memorial Cemetery.
Born Nov. 20, 1931, at Ringling to Tom and Eva Albin Hammons, she died Oct. 2, 1998, at an Ardmore hospital after a sudden illness. She was preceded in death by a son, Duncan Fore III, on Sept. 19, 1989.
Reared at Ringling, she also lived at Fox before moving to Healdton. She married D.J. Fore on Dec. 24, 1947, at Henrietta, Texas. Mrs. Fore had been a cook and waitress at various area restaurants. She also operated the restaurant at the Healdton bowling alley.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; one daughter, Sheila Rodden, Columbia, S.C.; one sister, Rose Wilson, Healdton; one brother, Tommy Hammons, Ringling; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Dan Durant, Peck Pemberton, Chad Rodden, Gary Hammons, Johnny Hammons and Ronnie Hammons.
Services are under the direction of Reser Funeral Home.
CROWELL, Texas -- Services for Earl T. Eubanks, 82, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Womack-Manard Funeral Home chapel. Interment will be at Crowell Cemetery.
Eubanks died Oct. 4, 1998, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born March 19, 1916, at Madill.

Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Ford, of the home; two daughters, Carolyn Olson, Ardmore, and Delores Lane, Picayune, Miss.; two sons, Jerry, Bedford, Texas, and Michael, Fort Worth; a sister, Hazel Duncan, Dallas; a brother, Ellis, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
GRADY -- Graveside rites for Waymon F. Hodges, 80, Ringling, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grady Cemetery with Ronnie Carroll officiating.
Hodges died Oct. 3, 1998, at his home following an extended illness. He was born June 6, 1918, at Grady, to Floyd and Hattie Dunford, Hodges.
A lifetime resident of the Ringling area, he received the Bronze Star and Combat Infantry Badge while serving with the Army during World War II. He was a farmer, a member of Church of Jesus Christ and American Legion. He and Dortha Camplain were married Dec. 16, 1946, at Henrietta, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Gale Smith, Grady, and Jack Hodges, Ryan; a daughter, Patricia Reid, Grady; a brother, Turner, Bedford, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be John C. Reid, Ken Hodges, Henry Heidelberg, Brent, Brian and Kenneth Smith.
Reser Funeral Home will direct services.
Funeral services for Mary Corbett, 66, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Chapel with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Officiating will be the Rev. Geoff Pfaff.
Mrs. Corbett was born Jan. 24, 1932, at Lambert, Miss., to the late William Thomas and Jimmie Elizabeth Young. She died Oct. 3, 1998, at her residence.
She married Ralph Corbett on Nov. 28, 1953. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1995.
Mrs. Corbett had lived in Ardmore since 1972, coming here from Los Angeles, Calif. She was a registered nurse employed by Memorial Hospital as nursing director. She retired as nursing director for Cross Timbers Hospice. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by sons, David Corbett of Edmond, and Bruce Corbett of Dallas, and Glenn Corbett and his wife, Rhnea, of Ardmore; a daughter, Cheryl Corbett of Ardmore; brothers, David Young of Boston, Mass., Oliver Young of McComb, Miss., and Paul Young of Montana; sisters, Martha Brown of Las Vegas, and Janice Brett of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, Monica, Bridgit and Hayli Corbett; and special friend, Mary Green.
Pallbearers will be Lloyd Story, Kevin French, Randy Murphy, Weldon O'Dell, Martin Behan and Tony Roberts. Honorary bearers are Dr. George Carlson and Dr. Kevin Reed.
Memorials may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice.
SULPHUR -- Services for Wade Allen Wells, 29, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Campbell officiating. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at West View Cemetery, Atoka.
Wells died Oct. 4, 1998, in Sulphur. He was born Sept. 29, 1969, at Ada.
He was reared in Atoka and Sulphur where he graduated from high school in 1988. He bought and sold machinery.
Survivors include his parents, Johnny and Patricia Wells, Roff; and grandmothers, Evelyn Grimsley, Atoka, and Mildred Drennan, Sulphur.
Bearers will be Stuart Parks, Jason Stratton, Terry Gregory, Brian, Robbie and Jamie Grimsley.
Clagg Funeral Home will direct services.

Sutton died Oct. 5, 1998, in an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born June 16, 1922, in Tightwad, Texas, to Zonia and Charles W. Sutton.
Reared in Claypool, he graduated from Cameron University, was a tool designer for Douglas Aircraft Co., worked for Corken Pump Co. and purchased Mooreland Industrial Supply Co. in 1960, renaming it Mooreland-Sutton Supply Co. He supported baseball programs at Murray State College, University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma City University where a complex is named in his honor. He and Barbara Moore were married Oct. 3, 1943, at Duncan.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Rick, Mustang; brother, Jimmy, Sherman, Texas; and four grandchildren.
Bearers will be Mike Neal, Randy Richardson Paul Moore, Clark, Arch and Grant Sutton. Don Moore is honorary bearer.
Memorials may be made to Deaconess Cancer Center in Oklahoma City.
SULPHUR -- Graveside rites for Norma Lee Dark Wright, 72, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Oaklawn Cemetery with the Rev. James Swain officiating.
Mrs. Wright died Oct. 4, 1998, in Carrollton, Texas. She was born Aug. 8, 1926, at Comanche, to Charles F. and Myrtle B. Calame Dark.
Reared in this area, she graduated from Sulphur High School and was a former dental assistant.
Survivors include three sons, Michael Fleming, Jacksonville, Fla., John Payne, Plano, Texas, and Davey Payne, Toole, Texas; two brothers, Robert Dark, Norman, and John Dark, Lone Grove; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Davy Dark.
Clagg Funeral Home will direct services.
SULPHUR -- Services for Diana Gatlin Brady, 45, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Cowley-Krien Chapel. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Brady died Oct. 6, 1998, in the local hospital. She was born Dec. 26, 1952, at Anadarko, to Willard and Betty McCalip Gatlin.
Reared at Anadarko, she lived in Norman where she married Charles Brady in September 1990, and moved to Sulphur in 1991. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; four children, Stephanie Rice, Enid, Flynt Brady, Charlysa Brady and Jason Rice, Sulphur; a sister, LaDona Chartier, Enid; and a grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Gatlin.
Bearers will be Richard Johnson, Jimmy Cain, Robert Hargrove, B.J. Chartier, Hugh and Charles Brady. Honorary bearers are Phillip Ozborn and Kenneth Robertson.
