Services for Shane L. Chaney, 26, Healdton, will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church, Ardmore, with the Revs. Jim Robertson and Russell Cheatham officiating. Interment will follow at Woodberry Forest Cemetery, Madill.
Chaney died Oct. 27, 1998, following an auto accident. He was born June 16, 1972, in Oklahoma City.
He moved to Dickson as a child and played football and graduated from high school there in 1991. He worked at Red River Grain in Kingston and for Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home two years before entering the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, graduating in 1995. He had been employed by Reser Funeral Home in Healdton since that time. He was a member of Mary Niblack Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Charlotte and Vadon Lollis, Dickson, and the Rev. J.A. and Cheryl Chaney, Oklahoma City; a sister, Lora Whitmore, Ardmore; stepbrother, Derek Lollis; and stepsister, Valyn Lollis, both of Blanchard; and grandparents, Evelyn Reid, Ringling, and Robert and Jean Davis, Midwest City.
Bearers will be Scott Stoker, Jerry Holley, Jason Watterson, Sam Douglas, Johnny Taylor and Matt Stewart. Honorary bearers are Chris Dickson, Clif Pierce and Toddie Carter.
Reser Funeral Home, Healdton, will direct services.
Funeral services for Charles Manning Dibrell, 86, were at 11 a.m. today at St. Philip's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Ernest C. Maddon officiating. Interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Charles Dibrell died Oct. 28, 1998, in the local hospital. He was born to Charlie C. Dibrell and Jennie Brooks Dibrell on May 9, 1912, at Elk City.
He moved to the Ardmore area in 1920 and graduated from Ardmore High School in 1930.
He married Shirley Rawlins Hatfield Aug. 19, 1988, in Alamogordo, N.M.
During World War II, Charles worked for Western Electric in the Field Engineering Force, assigned to the U.S. Navy in the shipboard division in radar. He then worked for Bell Laboratories in New York City as a member of a small group developing two-way radios for Rail Road Communications. He returned to Ardmore following the war and established Dibrell's Two-Way Radio Communication Service.
He had been a licensed Amateur Radio Operator since 1929, and was a charter member of the Ardmore Amateur Radio Club.
In 1936 he installed the equipment for Ardmore's first radio station, KVSO. He had been active in community affairs, especially in the area of disaster work with the American Red Cross. He served as chairman of the Carter County Chapter of the American Red Cross, as Western Oklahoma Volunteer Disaster Coordinator, and had worked as a disaster caseworker for numerous disasters in Oklahoma as well as Texas.
In special recognition for his years of service to the American Red Cross, Mr. Dibrell was honored in June at the annual appreciation dinner with the naming of the new communications center at the Red Cross Headquarters as the Charles M. Dibrell Communications Center.
An active member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church, Charles served several terms as Junior Warden of the Vestry and as a delegate to Diocesan Convention.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley, of the home; a niece, Ann Dibrell Clowdus, and her husband, Don, and their children, Lisa Dibrell and Lori and Shawn Harkins and daughter, Kaylie Harkins; a nephew, William C. Dibrell, and his wife, Susan, and their children, Rob and Dana Dibrell and David Dibrell of Edmond; and a cousin, Margaret McClendon of Amarillo, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a twin brother, Ben Brooks Dibrell.
Bearers were Ben Ward, Ed Whitchurch, Howard Robinson, Don Drake, Don Shelton and Bill Shelton. Honorary bearers will be members of the Ardmore Amateur Radio Club.
Memorials may be made to St. Philip's Episcopal Church of the South Central Oklahoma Chapter of American Red Cross.

Per her request, no services will be held for Berdeen George.
Mrs. George passed away Oct. 28, 1998 in the local hospital. She was born Dec. 17, 1920, in Arkansas, to Ralph and Gertrude Hanks.
She moved to Ardmore 35 years ago from Oklahoma City. She worked at the Employment Security Commission in Ardmore and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Dr. Bill Lang of Calgary, Can.; and a granddaughter, Julie Lang of Springer. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Clark Lang.
Memorials may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice.

MADILL -- Services for Joyce Dean Hauther, Lone Grove, are pending from Watts Funeral Home, Madill. Mrs. Hauther died Oct. 28, 1998, at her home.
Among her survivors are her husband, Jakie, of the home; sons, Marty, Lone Grove, and Daniel R., Ardmore; and a daughter, Cindy Barber, Greenville.
RINGLING -- Services for Lee "Slim" Phillips Jr. 73, will be 2 p.m. today at the Asphaltum Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Jim Gillum and Ronnie Medford officiating. Interment will be at Loco Cemetery under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home.
Born June 20, 1925, at Alma to Carrie Padget and Alford Lee Phillips, he died Oct. 29, 1998, at Ardmore after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by a son, Todd E. Phillips, on June 12, 1986. He was also preceded in death by two half brothers, Jack Carroll and Odell Carroll.
He was a longtime trainer of cutting and calf roping horses and foreman of many prominent ranches in New Mexico and Texas. He and his wife, the former Hazel F. Hopkins, had been married 47 years.
Survivors include his wife of the home, a daughter, Twyla McGuire, Ringling; two sons, Terry, Marietta, and Ty, Ringling; two boys he reared as his own, Jimmy Thompson, Ratliff City, and Smiley Reece, Corgdon, Iowa; a sister, Kathy Needham, Fox; two brothers, Bill, Wilson, and Ernest, Ringling; and seven grandchildren.
Bearers will be Bob Wilson, Warren Whittlesey, Mitchell Hankins, Ralph Needham, Mickey Johnson and Jay K. Johnson. Honorary bearers are Cecil Anderson, Sonny Prentis, Melvin Davis and Bane Bigbie.
FORT WORTH, Texas -- Memorial services for Sterling Eggleston II, 46, Bedford, Texas, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Shannon North Funeral Home Chapel, 111 West Northside Drive, Fort Worth.
Born May 20, 1952, at Odessa, Texas, to Sterling Earl and Bennye Faye Eggleston, he died Oct. 30, 1998 at Bedford.
Eggleston moved with his family to Mancos, Colo., in 1962 and in 1966 moved to Ardmore. He attended Ardmore High School, graduating in 1970. He attended Midwestern University at Wichita Falls, Texas, where he received his bachelor's degree. He remained in Wichita Falls working for Oliver's Men's Store. Later he moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and worked at Leegin Creative Leather. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Ardmore.
Survivors include his parents, Ardmore; and one sister, Pamela Ford, Cedar Hill, Texas.
MARIETTA -- Memorial services for Elsie L. Dees, 68, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Shady Dale Baptist Church with the Revs. Mike Costanos and Johnny Sconce officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetary in Marietta.
Born March 7, 1920, at Rubottom to Dan and Josie Gatlin Chitwood, she died Oct. 31, 1998.
She lived all of her life in Love County. She married Adren Dees May 18, 1938, at Ardmore. A homemaker and a member of Shady Dale Baptist Church, Shady Dale Home Demonstration Club and Busy Bees Extension Club, she was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Adren Dees of the home; two sons Robert Dees and Don Dees of Marietta; one daughter Brenda Hull of Marietta; two sisters Alta Faye Jobe of Rubottom and Rena Powell of Hurst, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be her grandchildren Sherri Dees, Marcus Dees, Brian Dees, Dan Dees, Toi Williamson and Lorry Hull.
Memorials may be made to Shady Dale Baptist Church.
Services are under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home of Marietta.
LONE GROVE- Funeral services for Essie mae Mitchell, 88, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Harvey-Douglas Chapel with the Revs. Roger Wood and Tom Riley officiating. Interment will be in the Lone Grove Cemetery under the direction of the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.
The daughter of the late Hugh and Nettie Wilkinson Wallace, she was born Sept. 26, 1910, in Woodford and died Oct. 30, 1998, in a local hospital following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by a sister, Nora Howe, and five brothers, Heavy, Claude, Dutch, Gilbert and Richard Wallace.
A resident of Lone Grove most of her life, she married Robert William Mitchell on July 12, 1930, in Ardmore. He preceded her in death May 23, 1968. She was a member of the Lone Grove First United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Martha Lou and Donnie Payne of Lone Grove and Sue and Mark Ellis of Ardmore; four grandchildren, Brand and his wife Brenda Ellis of Olympia, Wash., Greg and his wife Brenda Lanier of Ardmore, Lynn and his wife Judy Payne of Lone Grove and Donna Sue Payne of Lone Grove; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Paulbearers will be Kenneth Miller, Marshall Mitchell, Dowl Mitchell, Ben Brewer, Troy Morris Jr. and Boyd Howell. Honorary bearers will be Bill Lyons, W.C. Mitchell, Jr., Creed Speake and Joe Denney.
MADILL -- Memorial services for Joyce Dean Hauther, 62, Lone Grove, will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Watts Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Edward Rowls officiating. Interment will follow at the Rollins Cemetery.
Born July 16, 1936, in Madill to Bennie and Sudie Mae Huffman Elkins, Hauther was reared in Madill and married Jakie L. Hauther on Feb. 16, 1957. She died Oct. 28, 1998, at her residence in Lone Grove following a sudden illness. She was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Hauther.
She is survived by her husband, of the home; two sons, Marty J. Hauther of Lone Grove and Daniel Ray Hauther of Ardmore; one daughter Cindy A. Barber of Greenville; two brothers, Raymond L. Elkins of Madill and B.F. Elkins of Mannsville; two sisters LaVada Roe of Ardmore and Wetona Bergerson of San Bernardino, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Bearers will be Jake Barber, Nicholas Barber, Justin Throneberry, Steve Elkins, Scott Elkins and Tommy Gordon. Honorary bearers will be Chet Howell, Jackie Pilgrim, Homer Duke and Tom Wilson.
HUGO -- Services for Eugenia Lynn Nutting, 41, Ardmore, formerly of Hugo, were Saturday at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bennie Hammons officiating. Interment followed at Grant Cemetery.
Born Sept. 30. 1957, at Hugo to Eugene Satterfield and Lynn Taylor Williams, she died Oct. 28, 1998, at an Ardmore hospital.
She lived in Hugo most of her life, moving to Ardmore about one year ago. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her father, Hugo; her mother, Blossom, Texas; one brother, Michael Satterfield, Colorado City, Texas; three half brothers, Floyd, Keith and Gary Satterfield, all Hugo; two half sisters, Teresa Waterman, Hugo, and Gwendolyn Marie Weaver, Kasoma.
SULPHUR -- Services for Bob Graves, 55, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lighthouse Holiness Church with Glen and Denny Clary officiating. Interment will follow at Drake Cemetery.
Born June 28, 1943, at Orange County, Calif., to Ray and Alpha L. Brown Graves, he died Oct. 31, 1998, at Sulphur. He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Barbara Graves.
Graves was a cabinet maker. He grew up in California and had lived in Sulphur for the past 25 years. He worked for several years at Nye's Cabinet Shop.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Graves, of the home; one daughter, Leilani Owens, Sulphur; two sons, Jeffrey Saunders and Robert Graves, both Sulphur, his father, Sulphur; three brothers, Ernie Graves, Tommy Graves and Jerry Graves, all Sulphur; two sisters, Beverly "Debbie" Bevill and Patricia Davidson, both Sulphur; and seven grandchildren.
Bearers are Timmy Pena, David Clary, Jackie Jones, Bill Clary, Charlie Blanton and Allen Clary. Honorary bearer is Gary Mensch.
Services are under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
HUGO -- Services for Gayle Patterson, 68, Ardmore, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Bill Darrough Pavilion at Mount Olivet Cemetery with the Rev. Craig Dietert officiating.
Born Nov. 19, 1929, at Paris, Texas, to William Pyle and Mignon Womack Patterson, he died Oct. 28, 1998, at the Ardmore hospital.
Patterson had lived at Hugo from the time he was 16 until a few years ago when he moved to Ardmore. He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the United States Air Force from 1950 to 1953. At one time Patterson owned and operated an appliance store at Hugo. He later retired as an auto salesman. He was of the Episcopal faith.
Survivors include two sons, Gayle Patterson Jr. and Pat Patterson, both Tulsa; two daughters, Penny Nance, Owasso, and Joy Miller, Valliant; one brother Von Patterson, Hugo; two sisters, Willa Griggs and Florence Patterson, both Hugo; and six grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home.
HINTON -- Services for Denice Pieracy, 29, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Paul Underwood officiating. Interment will follow at Hinton Cemetery.
Born Jan. 10, 1969, at Clinton to Robert Harold and Bernice Wickware Pieracy, she died Oct. 28, 1998, at Hinton.
She lived most of her life at Hinton. She married Ricky Dean Hauschildt. She was a Baptist and worked as a welder at Hu-Don Manufacturing at Ardmore.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two daughters, Donnita and Rechelle Hauschildt, of the home; one son, Ryan Hauschildt, of the home; stepmother, Janie Pieracy, Hinton; three sisters, Nita Lee, Hinton, Donna Esteph, Ardmore, and Julie Kay Watterson, Sulphur; and one brother, Johnny Pieracy, Ardmore.
Services are under the direction of Hinton-Turner Funeral Home.
