SULPHUR -- Services for Abby Norene D. Hunt. 84, will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Clagg Funeral Home chapel with Bruce Govett officiating. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Hunt died Jan. 27, 1999, in Ardmore. She was born Feb. 9, 1914, at Fort Towson, to Jonathon F. and Abby N. Franks Davidson.
Reared at Fort Towson, she graduated from Southeastern State University and received her master's in education from East Central University. She taught 12 years in rural southeast Oklahoma and 30 years at the Oklahoma School for the Deaf. She and Bud G. Dennis Hunt were married Dec. 22, 1943, in Hugo. He died June 6, 1985.
Survivors include a son, Harold, Davis; sisters, Ester Dothan, Atoka; a granddaughter; and great-granddaughter. She was also preceded by nine brothers and sisters.
MADILL -- Services for Alma Whitaker Haley, 93, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Watts Memorial Chapel with Lyndol Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, Wynnewood.
Mrs. Haley died Jan. 26, 1999, in a local health care facility. She was born Dec. 11, 1905, at Quick Sand, Ky.
Reared in Wynnewood, she attended East Central University and graduated from the University of Oklahoma. She taught school in Wynnewood and Midwest City High School before she retired in 1947 and moved to Lebanon. She married Jeff Haley in Oklahoma City. He died Jan. 1, 1953.
She is survived by great-nephews and nieces, J.R. Couch, Richardson, Texas, Tim Couch, Pauls Valley, Jess Couch, Lebanon, and Nancy Couch, Oklahoma City. She was also preceded by three brothers, Bruce, Taft and Ovie; and four sisters, Otte, Ella, Georgie and Hazel.
Bearers will be Jeff Dollar, Ronnie Kelly, Tony Brakenfeld, Mickey Moisner, Mark and Brian Davis.
DURANT -- Graveside rites for Winnie Maurine Pool will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Highland Cemetery in Durant with the Rev. Ian Macalpine officiating.
Born to Lewis H. and Katie L. Allred Johnson Oct. 12, 1909, in Stoneburg, Texas, she died Jan. 27, 1999, in a local health care facility.
She and Arch Lee Pool were married on May 29, 1939. He preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 1994.
Mrs. Pool had lived in Ardmore the past four years, moving here from Durant. She graduated from Healdton High School, received her bachelor's degree from Southeastern State College and her master's degree from Oklahoma State University in 1953. She taught first grade in Healdton and junior high school in Durant. She was a member of Oklahoma and National Education associations, and First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Monita Powell, Perry, and Merle Mullen, Sapulpa; three brothers, Robert Johnson, Duncan, Doyle Johnson, Perry, and Derrel Johnson, Ardmore. She was preceded in death by brothers, Haskell and Ferrel Johnson.
Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home will direct services.
Graveside rites for Dollie Thompson Hunt, 100, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Rose Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Donny Custar officiating.
Mrs. Hunt died Jan. 27, 1999, following an extended illness. She was born Aug. 26, 1898, in Indian Territory, to Ed and Mae Walk.
She had lived in Ardmore most of her life. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and former member of Ardmore Round-up Club.
Survivors include a sister, Daisy Johnson, Ardmore; three granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Bud Thompson and Gid Hunt; two daughters, Treva Williams, and Ethel Strain; and a great-granddaughter.

Services for Anna Lois Mauldin are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, 1999, at Craddock Memorial Chapel with the Rev. James Watson officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Anna Lois Mauldin was born July 30, 1918, in Oklahoma, to E.R. and Pearl Hooks Reno. She passed this life on Jan. 26, 1999, in a local nursing facility at the age of 80.
She was married to M.G. "Bill" Mauldin in Gainesville, Texas, on July 5, 1958. He preceded her in death in 1978. She had lived in Ardmore since 1972, having moved here from Atlanta, Ga. She worked as a cashier for the Tower Restaurant before she retired. She was a member of First Orthodox Baptist Church.
She is survived by two grandsons, Jim and Richard Lee Willingham both of Oklahoma City; four granddaughters, Donna Sue Kareer of McCloud, Okla., Gwenda Vollbrecht of Edmond, Okla., Kimberly Servis of North Carolina, and Vanita Clifton of Oklahoma City; two nephews, Milo and Richard Allen Reno; and several great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Johnnie Servis; a daughter, Connie Sue Willingham; and brother, Hoyt Reno.
Memorial services for Louise J. Stubbs are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29, 1999, in Craddock Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Roger Wood, Asbury United Methodist Church, officiating.
Mrs. Stubbs was born Oct. 28, 1912, in Ardmore, to Louis A. and Laura Ledbetter Jones. She passed from this life on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999, in the local hospital.
She married the late Dee M. Stubbs in El Reno, Okla., in 1952. She lived in San Diego and Long Beach, Calif., area part of her life where she worked for the Naval Electronics Laboratory as a clerk.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John L. and Evelyn C. Holladay of Idabel, Okla.; two granddaughters; two great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Memorials may be left to the charity of choice.
MADILL -- Services for Estelene Oleta Hand, 64, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Watts Memorial Chapel with Frank Huff and Herschel Baker officiating. Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery.
Mrs. Hand died Jan. 26, 1999, at her residence. She was born July 10, 1934, at Graham.
Reared at Graham, she lived most of her life at Madill and Lebanon and was a clerk at TG&Y a number of years. She and William Maurice Hand were married March 1, 1958, at Madill. He died Sept. 16, 1990.
Survivors include her sons and daughters, William and Robert, Lebanon, Sherri Hand, Topeka, Kan., and Jeannie Hand, Avineo, Italy; brothers and sisters, Johnny Watkins, Graham, Jimmy Watkins, Fox, George Watkins, Hartshorne, Sue Dewbre, Graham, Edna Turner, Fox, Ann Stubblefield, Sapulpa, Nancy Savage, Graham, Richard Watkins, Fox, Geraldine McDaniel, Albany, Texas, and Edna Rader, Henryetta.
Bearers will be Terry and Carl Moore, Richard and Charlie Rushing, Randy Hagood, Allen Parrish and Bryan Williams. Honorary bearers will be Fred Stanley and family members.
RUBOTTOM -- Graveside rites for Esther Helen Adams, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rubottom Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Williams officiating.
Mrs. Adams died Jan. 26, 1999, in a Seminole health care facility. She was born Sept. 6, 1911, at Jacksboro, Texas, to Edward L. and Sara J. Carlisle Qualls.
She married Alex Auld Aug. 24, 1927, and moved to Ada in 1985 from Gainesville, Texas, where she had lived since 1978. She was a nurse and member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband in 1974. She and Robert Adams were married July 27, 1963, in Tarrant County, Texas. He died in 1977. She was also preceded by two sons, Donald Auld, in 1983, and George Auld in September 1988; two brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include six grandchildren, Donna McEndree, Lubbock, Texas, Dennis Auld, Oklahoma City, Dale Auld, Seminole, Mark, Steve and Mike Auld, Shawnee; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

LONE GROVE -- Graveside services for James L. Stubblefield are scheduled for 4 p.m. today, Jan. 29, 1999, at Lone Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Bigger officiating.
Mr. Stubblefield was born June 5, 1909, in Montague County, Texas, to W.H. and Ellen Beam Stubblefield. He passed this life on Jan. 28, 1999, in Ardmore.
He and Velstal Battle were married on June 10, 1933, in Wilson, Okla. He had lived in Ardmore most of his life and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. He was retired from Cities Service Oil Corporation after 23 years of services as a gauger.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Ronnie Burns and Jerri and Thad Day, all of Ardmore; a sister, Estella Muse, Lone Grove; five grandchildren, Joe Burns, Kathi Blakley, Roger Day, Rodney Day and Kristi Reed; 10 great-grandchildren, Todd Blakley, Joe Ryan Snell, Justin Day, Eryn Day, Jacob Reed, Jessica Reed, Tyler Day and Kerra Day. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Herman Stubblefield, in 1967.
Serving as pallbearers are Joe Burns, Roger Day, Rodney Day, Mark Reed, Todd Blakley, Justin Day and Joe Ryan Snell.
Craddock Funeral Home will direct services.
SULPHUR -- Graveside rites for Jimmy Don Reynolds, 51, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oaklawn Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Leveridge officiating.
Reynolds died Jan. 27, 1999, in Sulphur. He was born Sept. 3, 1947, at Davis, to Mike and Lavada Daniels Reynolds.
A resident of this area most of his life, he attended school at Hugo and Davis and worked as a laborer.
He is survived by a brother, Stoney, Sulphur. He was preceded in death by a brother, Junior.
Clagg Funeral Home will direct services.
Services for Eugene Vickrey will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Maxwell Avenue Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery in Healdton.
Born Dec. 15, 1915, at Healdton, to Robert E. and Idell Wade Vickrey, he died Jan. 28, 1999, in the Ardmore hospital.
The World War II veteran of the South Pacific Theatre retired from the U.S. Post office in 1971 after 30 years of service in Healdton. He was an Eagle Scout and recipient of the Silver Beaver Award. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Loretha, of the home; two daughters, Ruth Ann McNeill, Healdton, and Frances Waugh, Dallas, a son, Jon, Carlsbad, N.M.; two sisters, Lucile Cheatham, Tulsa, and Norene Baxter, Why, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Andrew Jackson and grandsons Scott McNeill, Brett McNeill, Stephen McNeill, Ryan McNeill and Nicholas Waugh.
Memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts or the Healdton Alumni Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 771, Healdton, OK.

DUNCAN -- Services for LaVita Ann Clagg, of Ratliff City, will be at 2 p.m. today at Bethesda Church of God, Duncan, with the Revs. Harold Methney and Joe Rushing officiating. Interment will be at New Velma Cemetery.
Mrs. Clagg died Jan. 27, 1999, in Ratliff City. She was born Aug. 31, 1944, at Hobart.
She married Kenneth Clagg Jan. 16, 1991, at Pruitt City. She lived in California then moved to the Countyline-Ratliff City area. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; mother, Opal Boatman, Velma; father, Woody Boatman, Countyline; daughter, Laura Prewitt, Clemscott, Michelle Perry, Lindsay, Teather Clagg, Chickasha; sons, David Libby, Land of Lakes, Fla., and Jerry Campbell, Ratliff City; sisters, Peggy Ponder, Ratliff City, and Virginia Bowman, Velma; brothers, Jay Boatman, Germany, and Tommy Boatman, Bray.; grandchildren, Kyle Prewitt, Skyler Prewitt, Aaron Libby, Taylor Libby, Kayla Perry, Cody Perry, Luke Perry, Jerry Campbell and Angelique Campbell.
Bearers will be David Ponder, Steven Ponder, Brent Perkins, Jimmy Clagg, Mark Perry, Richard Butler and Rickey Bowman Jr. Honorary are Stacy Bowman, Gary Criswell, Bill Hamstead and Rick Hodges.

HEALDTON -- Graveside rites for Wilma Hester Cloar, 87, Hennepin, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Cemetery, Healdton, with Roy Hannah officiating.
Mrs. Cloar died Jan. 26, 1999, in the Ardmore hospital. She was born Sept. 15, 1911, at Pittsburg, Texas, to George and Lenora Bullard Riley.
She lived most of her life in this area and was employed by Montgomery Wards for 22 years before she retired. She and Calvin Cloar were married Sept. 9, 1989, at Las Vegas.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; three brothers, Bob Riley, Denver, J.D. Atchley, Early, Texas, and Leonard Atchley, Midland, Texas; two sisters, Eleanor Parker, Dallas, and Grace Self, Brownwood, Texas; five stepchildren; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
