FALCONHEAD -- Memorial services for Becky Mullens, 84, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Falconhead.
Mrs. Mullens died March 5, 1999. She was born May 21, 1914, at Cordell, to William S. and Ada M. Copeland.
She married Jeff Mullens in 1933 at Frederick and lived in Oklahoma City before moving to Falconhead in 1978. She was formerly employed by the State Firefighters Association for 17 years. Since moving to Falconhead, she was active in the Ladies Golf Association and Falconhead Christian Fellowship. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Suzan Mullens, Bethany.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Gene Adams Funeral Service, Bethany, will direct services.
Services for Edna Mae Tibbs, 62, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Harvey-Douglas Chapel with the Rev. Billy Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur.
Mrs. Tibbs died March 6, 1999, in the local hospital after an extended illness. She was born Dec. 15, 1936, at Tishomingo, to John E. and Ida L. Ashford Sides.
A resident of Ardmore most of her life, she was employed by the city as a clerk at the landfill and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She and Bill Tibbs were married Sept. 21, 1979, in Gainesville, Texas.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Ralph E. Dollar Jr. Springer, and Buddy O. Dollar, Pittsburg, Kan.; three daughters, Tami R. Lacy and Paula A. Eddy, Joy, and Kimberly L. Garcia, Purcell; a brother, David Sides, Plano, Texas; six sisters, Pearline Green, Elmore City, Marie Weaver, Roff, Lessie Murphy, Norman, Jerlene Stewart, Oklahoma City, Johnie Sides and Judy Cain, Sulphur; stepchildren, Daryl Tibbs, Marietta, Roy Tibbs and Marlene Bridgman, Ardmore. 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Johnny L. Dollar, in 1965.
Bearers will be Troy Duke, Terry Lewis, Jim Pollard, Joe Fine, Mark Urbansky and Joe Eddy Jr. Honorary bearers are Ronald Eddy, Jimmy Cain Jr. and Nubbin Lail.
Graveside rites for Larry Page, 45, Lone Grove, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rose Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Monty Baggett officiating.
Page died March 6, 1999, at his residence. He was born Nov. 6, 1953, at Waldo.
He had lived in Lone Grove the past five years, moving here from Enid, and was a member of Ardmore First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Larry Rogers, Oklahoma City; daughter, Mandi D. Page, St. Louis, Mo.; his parents, Porter and Rosemary Page; and brother, Robert, all of Lone Grove; sisters, Ruth A. Cobble, Ardmore, Wanda E. Williams, Grand Prairie, Texas, and Shelly J. Jones, Enos.
Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home will direct services.
HEALDTON -- Services for Janie Baker, age 102, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Reser Funeral Chapel with Roy Hannah officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
Mrs. Baker died March 7, 1999, in the Ardmore hospital. She was born May 22, 1896, in Cleveland County, Indian Territory, to Robert and Phoebe Henson Webb.
She was reared in the Oklahoma City area and took nurse's training under Dr. Griffin at what is now Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman. She graduated in 1918, and after doing private duty nursing became a public health nurse, heading the Oklahoma City Health Department for 25 years. She also completed the study of law at the Oklahoma City Law School, but chose not to take the bar. Mrs. Baker was a Seventh-day Adventist.
She is survived by a daughter, Jane Cook, of the home.
Honorary bearers will be Jere Morrison, Kenneth and Mark Eck, Dan, Dale, Dennis and Robert Stewart.
Services for Joel C. "Jerry" Trammell will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Chapel with the Rev. Gene Cormier officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Trammell died March 7, 1999, in the local hospital. He was born June 27, 1914, at Bennington, to Curt and Bertha Trammell.
A resident of Ardmore most of his life, he was a Baptist and the retired owner of Phillips Electric Shop. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and member of Masonic Lodge 31 where he formerly served as secretary. He and Sybel McDonald were married in 1951 in Ardmore.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; daughters, Yvonne Morris, Kenyon, Minn., Margie Dean Suddath, Seattle, Wash.; a brother, Gordon, Oklahoma City; two stepbrothers, Glen Trice, Wichita Falls, Texas, and Jim Trice, Odessa, Texas; a sister, Joyce Merchant, Grapeland, Texas; three grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Bearers will be Wayne and Jim Ralls, Shawn Thurman, Graham Parker, George Lowe and Phillip Eggenbert.
MADILL -- Services for Loys Virgil Awalt, 89, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Watts Memorial Chapel with Lyndol Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Linn Cemetery.
Awalt died March 8, 1999, in the local hospital. He was born March 3, 1910, at Linn, to Dick and Audrey E. Hannon Awalt.
He was reared at Linn and married to Ruth E. Nichols April 2, 1932, at Madill. He had been a farmer, rancher, chemical plant operator and propane truck driver until he retired. He was a member of Masons and Little City Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Billy L.; and two daughters, Lynda Laird and Sharon Foote, all of Madill; two brothers, Clyde, Santa Ana, Calif., and Hugh, Hemit, Calif.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Patrick Laird, Lindsey Vaughn, Leon Bilbrey, David, Richard and Billy Awalt. Honorary bearers are W.L. Moore, James Fricke, Ed Benton, Leonard Hartin and Olen Brigham.
HEALDTON -- Services for Willie Mae Williams, 89, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Reser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim May officiating. Interment will be at Hewitt Cemetery.
Mrs. Williams died March 7, 1999, in the Ardmore hospital after a sudden illness. She was born to W.J. and Mattie Puntch Malone Aug. 28, 1909, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
She married Ples Robert Williams Nov. 21, 1932, in Waurika, and had lived in the Wilson area 50 years. She was a Methodist. She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1989; two sisters; and two brothers.
Survivors include a son, Claude, Wilson; two daughters, Virginia Poage, Healdton, and Bernell Powers, Wilson; a brother, Roy Malone, Lawton; 14 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be grandsons Kenny and Sid Burden, Robin Powers, Shawn and Terry Poage and Shannon Collins. Honorary bearers are Shannon D. Burden and Chris Morris.
Private services for Lela May Gray were held today at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Gray died March 8, 1999, at her residence. She was born Jan. 8, 1915, at Madill, to Tom and Mabel Profit, and was a lifelong resident of this area.
She is survived by a son, Donnie, Ardmore; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Gray, in 1958.
Craddock Funeral Home directed services.
Services for Ruby Opal Burt will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Baptist Church with the Revs. Al Green and Randy Boatright officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta.
Mrs. Burt died March 7, 1999, in the local hospital. She was born July 11, 1913, in Montague County, Texas, to Leonard and Nettie McNabb.
She moved from Yoakum County, Texas to Thackerville in 1962, to Marietta in 1976 and to Ardmore in 1989. She and Jim Burt were married Dec. 29, 1930, at Waurika. She was preceded in death by her husband Oct. 30, 1981; and a grandson.
She is survived by three sons, Delbert, Gainesville, Texas, Jimmy and Joe, Ardmore; four daughters, Wanda Jones, Brownfield, Texas, Marcell Boatright and Jean Tharlton, Ardmore, and Charlotte Green, Gould, Ark.; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as bearers.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 tonight at Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Lillian Edna Lumpkin Somerville, 88, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Chapel with the Rev. Donny Custar officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Somerville was born to the late William E. and Lois Mae Lumpkin on April 11, 1910, at Adairsville, Ga. She died at Mercy Memorial Hospital on March 8, 1999.
She married Harold Vane Somerville on Nov. 14, 1936, in Dallas, Texas, and had lived in Ardmore since the late 1940s. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters, Bessie Mae Schroeder and Mary Lucile Lumpkin; brothers, Jim Lumpkin, Allen Lumpkin and William "Bill" Lumpkin; and nephews, Jim Schroeder Ross Somerville and Clay Somerville.
She is survived by a sister, Laura Saner of Oklahoma City; sisters-in-law, Erma Lumpkin of Ardmore, and Earlene Somerville of Norman; nephews and nieces, Bill Lumpkin Jr., and his wife, Anna Lynn, Harold Lumpkin, and his friend David Herron, all of Ardmore, Nancy and Wayne Klingsick of Amarillo, Texas, Robert and Debbie Gilmour of Norman, Bill and Joan Schroeder of Wilmington, Del., Shirley and Ed Robbins of Oklahoma City, David Somerville, Stephen Somerville, and Rozanne Somerville; several grand nieces and nephews; and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Bearers will be Randy Weichbrodt, Mark Cunningham, H.A. Hodges Jr., Boyd Howell, Richard Kluna and Ken French.

Services for Geraldine G. Priddy, 87, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Priddy died March 8, 1999, in a local health care facility. She was born Aug. 11, 1911, at Norman, to J.E. and Florence Bryant Gilbert.
A resident of Ardmore since 1917, she graduated from Ardmore High School and Murray State College. She and J.C. Priddy were married Nov. 24, 1934, at Pauls Valley. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Her husband preceded her in death Aug. 13, 1993.
Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Hartwig, Oklahoma City; two half sisters, Myrtle F. Hartman, El Paso, Texas, and Jessie M. Frantz, Cincinnati; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church.
SULPHUR -- Services for Ben Lee Williams, 68, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cowley-Krien Chapel with the Rev. Bill Huckaby, Gerald and Ronnie Elmore officiating. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Williams died March 8, 1999, at his home. He was born June 11, 1930, at Maude, to Carl G. and Ruby Moore Williams.
A resident of Sulphur since 1931, he served in the Army in 1947 and married Wanda Elmore March 17 ,1948, in Ardmore. He was an appliance repairman and member of Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Heath, Fox; four daughters, Judy Chaffee, Gore, Angle Hodges, Sulphur, Diane Hopkins and Vicky Taylor, Crockett, Texas; two brothers, Tim, Pauls Valley, and Mike, Tulsa; a sister, Donna Jones, Sulphur; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Matt Haydel, Billy Knight, David Pittman, Curtis Winchester, Glen Leming, Donald "Ducky" Day and Seth Hensley.
SULPHUR -- Services for Wanda Lambert, 65, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Edward Rowls officiating. Interment will be at Drake Cemetery under the direction of Cowley-Krien Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lambert died March 7, 1999, at her home. She was born June 21, 1933, at Drake, to Emmett D. and Evie Kirby Davis.
Reared in Sulphur, she married Tom Lambert in 1953 at Lawton, and moved to Louisiana. She returned to Sulphur in 1970 and worked as a nurse at the veteran's hospital until she retired in 1996. She was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and member of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a daughter, Tamara Dresser, Sulphur; two brothers, Ted Davis, Wichita Falls, Texas, and Billy Davis, Hanford, Calif.; five sisters, Claudine Elledge, Baytown, Texas, Joyce Fisher, Paoli, Patsy Buzzard, Jacksonville, Fla., Ann Thompson, Great Falls, Mont., and Jackie Dutra, Hanford, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
