Graveside rites for Bonnie Belle Farmer, 80, Lexington, were Saturday at Rose Hill Cemetery with Dr. Doug Miller officiating.
Born Aug. 29, 1918, at Ada to Burl Franklin and Dorothy Luella Wilson Rushing, she died April 2, 1999, at a Lexington health care facility. She married Robert Thomas Farmer in 1945 at Corpus Christi, Texas. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Thomas Farmer; and a sister, Freda Kyle.
Mrs. Farmer lived in Ada before moving with her family to Ardmore as a child. She later lived in Texas and then returned to Ardmore where she lived most of her life. She had worked at Woolworth's at the lunch counter for many years. She then moved to Lexington.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Jane; one sister, Lorene Salthouse, Ardmore; one grandson; and one great-grandchild.
Memorials can be made to the First Christian Church, 515 Maxwell Avenue, Ardmore, OK 73401.
Services were under the direction of Wilson-Little Funeral Home, Purcell.
DAVIS -- Services for Gladys Elsie Howard Harrison were Saturday at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Finis Steelman officiating. Interment followed at Green Hill Cemetery.
Born Oct. 13, 1917, at Dougherty to George D. and Ollie Lucas Howard, she died April 1, 1999, at Ardmore. She married Wesley C. Harrison Feb. 15, 1936, at Davis. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Wayne Harrison and Tommy Lee Harrison; one brother, Tom Howard; and one sister, Malissa Harrison.
Survivors include three daughters, Fairy Beaubien, The Colony, Texas, Minnie Burns, Jenks, and Nancy Bailey, Tulsa; three sisters, Molly Pyka, Joy, Pearl Harrison, Davis, and Sarah Geurin, Guthrie; one brother, Buck Howard, Davis; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Bearers were Keith Claxton, Kenny Claxton, Harold Geurin, Lyle Hamilton, Chuck Pyka and Max Stalhman.
Services for Jennie Rozella Maxwell are pending with Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home for Jennie Rozella Maxwell. She was born to the late Monroe Crawford and Lousettie Taylor on Feb. 24, 1909 at Chandler, Ok. and died April 5, 1999, in the local hospital.
She is survived by a son, John Earl Maxwell, Salt Lake City; a daughter, Cheryl Jean Jenson, Mesquite, Texas; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Armine John Maxwell in 1971.
Services for Velma Thacker will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with interment following in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Thacker was born Jan. 11, 1915, to Steven Hampton and Mary Allie Cunningham in Martha. She died April 5, 1999, in Cleburn, Texas. She married Raymond Thacker on Feb. 5, 1938, in Mangum. He and two sisters preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sisters Mildred Brewer, Abilene, Texas, Edna Morris, Marina Valley, Calif.
Bearers will be Craig Beskow, Earl Hudgins, Rocky Bunting, Joel Beskow, Mathew Krause, Franklin Krause, Brad Bunting. Michael Krause is an honorary bearer.
Services are under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Luella Wilson, 94 will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Metropolitan A.M.E. Church with the Rev. Alex Holloway officiating. Interment will follow in Clearview Cemetery.
Wilson was born Sept. 26, 1904, and died April 3, 1999, in a local health care facility. She was preceded in death by her husband Roscoe on Nov. 26, 1991. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the Hospitality Club and the A.M.E. Church.
She is survived by nephew, Clint Smith, Ardmore, and great-niece, Rosemary Smith, Kansas City, Mo.
Bearers will be James Clemons, Emmanuel Price, Clayborn Harris, A.C. Shelton, Sr., the Rev. A.C. Felton, Jr. and Anderson L. Smith.
LONE GROVE -- Services for Willis Ray Stewart, Jr., 41, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Lone Grove Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Gary Gunsolus officiating. Interment will be in Provence Cemetery.
The son of Willis Ray Stewart, Sr. and Kate Bettes, he was born Aug. 9, 1957, in Ardmore and died April 4, 1999, in the Norman hospital.
A resident of Ardmore for most of his life, he was a truck driver and also worked as a carpenter. He served six years in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his parents of Lone Grove, his wife Ginger and stepson Jessie of the home, two brothers Albert of Lone Grove and Harold of Sachse, Texas; a sister Cindy Gilliam of Springer and grandparents Victor and Lena Albin of Lincoln City, Ind.
Bearers will be Albert and Harold Stewart, Vance Smith, Roger Gilliam, David Hollingsworth and Richard Coatney. Honorary bearers will be Ralph Dollar and Robert Bettes.
Services are under the direction of the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.
DAVIS -- Services for Teresa Rae Preston Owens will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fox Funeral Chapel in Davis. Interment will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery.
Owens was born Sept. 26, 1953, in Stillwater and died Friday, April 2, 1999, in Reno, Nev.
Owens is survived by her husband Michael, and two sons, Matthew and Daniel of Reno; her parents, John and Sara Huggins Preston of Davis; brothers, Ron and Aaron Preston of Oklahoma City and one sister Lora Lyman of Oklahoma City.
DALLAS -- Memorial services for Viola Venable Kucera, 90 were scheduled for 4:30 p.m. today in the St. Michael Chapel of the St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church of Dallas.
Kucera died on April 1, 1999, in the Ardmore Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonyn Edgar Kucera and son, Edgar Jackson Kucera. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Kucera Miller; granddaughter, Kathryn Miller Rabey and grandsons, John Antonyn Roderick, Henry S. Miller IV and Michael Alexander Miller. Memorials may be made to the St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, 8011 Douglas Ave., Dallas 75225.
Local arrangements were made by Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Kizzie Mann, 87, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Craddock Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Billy Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Springer Cemetery.
Born Oct. 19, 1911, at Springer to James A. and Mae E. Erwin Coffman, she died April 8, 1999, at a Sulphur hospital,
Mrs. Mann had been a resident of the Ardmore area all her life. She was of the Assembly of God faith.
Survivors include a sister, Haty Suther, Oklahoma City.
OAKLAND -- Graveside rites for Lois Lazelle Cornelison, 83, were Saturday at Oakland Cemetery with Curtis Hallmark and James Snyder officiating.
Born Nov. 26, 1915, at Oakland to John Young and Alcia Louisa Bogle Lynn, she died April 8, 1999, at an Ada hospital.
She had lived at Oakland all of her life. She married Jesse J. "Tige" Cornelison on March 27, 1939, at Madill. She was the charter secretary of the Oakland Cemetery Association and, until her death, a member of the Oakland Church of Christ. She had been a member of the Marshall County Demonstration Club for more than 34 years.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; and two daughters, Nina Sivek, Nashville, Tenn., and Mary L. Moore, Oakland.
Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home.
MARIETTA -- Services for Howard L. Fergueson, 88, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Shady Dale Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Castanos officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
Born Nov. 20, 1910, at Post Oak, Texas, to Simon Young and Ira Bell Langston Fergueson, he died April 9, 1999, at a Marietta hospital. He married Carmia McCain on Dec. 25, 1936, at Paducah, Texas. She preceded him in death Feb. 6, 1988. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Lewis.
Fergueson worked as a cement finisher until his retirement from the construction industry. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include six sons, Ernest, Kingston, Norman D., Longview, Texas, Donald, Colorado Springs, Colo., Kenneth, Jacksonville, Texas, Larry, Marietta, and Paul, Red Oak, Texas; three daughters, Barbara Corgnell, Kingston, Betty Jolly, Shell Knob, Mo., and Ann Shafer, Kingston; one brother, James, Boswell; two sisters, Mae Towery, Thorndale, Texas, and Fay Hubbard, Austin; 20 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Bearers are grandsons, Brandon Fergueson, Eric Fergueson, Greg Fergueson, Kelly Mason, Gilbert Mason and Gene Shafer. Honorary bearers are Sam Duggins, Sammy Duggins, Nelson Wooley and Kelvin Fergueson.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. today at Kennedy Funeral Home.

THACKERVILLE -- Services for Walter "Buster" Reynolds, 77, Gainesville, Texas, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Thackerville Church of Christ with Murray McMurray officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery.
Born Feb. 6, 1922, at Thackerville to Roy W. and Rachel Brown Reynolds, he died April 9, 1999, at his residence. He was preceded in death by one son, Marvin L.; two sisters, Juanita Reynolds and Oleta McAfee; and one brother, James.
Reynolds was a member of the Thackerville Church of Christ. He was a retired United States Army master sergeant. He was a member of the local union No. 429 and past president of the National Chilocco Indian Agricultural School Alumni. He was a 34-year member of A.A.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Hammer, Gainesville; three sons, Ray, Thomas D. and Phil, all California; three daughters, Carrol Lopez, Denton, Texas, Mary Jane Reynolds, California, and Susan Brown, Hawaii; two sisters, Zona Thurman, Gainesville, and Willie C. Ohlson, Gainesville; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Clement-Keel Funeral Home in Gainesville from 7-8 p.m. Monday.

MADILL -- Services for Lavina Johanna Nabors, 77, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Watts Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Richard Jones and Chris Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Powell Cemetery.
Born Aug. 9, 1921, at Ramona, S.D., to Olaf and Anna Gottsch Framness, she died April 8, 1999, at a Madill hospital. She married J.C. Nabors on Jan. 9, 1947, at Pipeston, Minn. He preceded her in death Feb. 28, 1994. She was also preceded in death by a stepson, Jowell Nabors.
Mrs. Nabors and her husband moved to Madill in 1947. She attended the Powell Church of Christ for many years and was a member of the Madill Church of Christ, where she was in the ladies' Bible study group.
Survivors include children, Anna Sliger, Lebanon, Jackie Nabors, Madill, James C. Nabors, Powell, Marsha Dyer, Healdton, Robert Nabors, Betty Moss, and Linda Horn, all Madill; stepchildren, Ralph Nabors, Arizona, Wendell Nabors and James Nabors, both Long Beach, Calif.; one brother, Elmer Framness, Madison, S.D.; and three sisters, Myrtle Pekarek, Madison, Ester Pekarek, Ramona, and Mary Ann Massey, Tacoma, Wash.; 24 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Eddie Buckaloo, Chuck Lewis, Larry Lee, Willie Otis Bridgeman, Kent Jensen and Tilford Clement. Honorary bearers are Don Gwartney, Don Nabors, Eugene Nabors, Dewayne Erwin, C.F. Eldridge and Lavon Henson.
RINGLING -- Graveside rites for Ora Marguerite Porter, 94, were Saturday at Ringling Memorial Cemetery with Jack Browder, a cousin, officiating.
Born Dec. 27, 1904, at Nail Crossing, Indian Territory, to Edmund Burke and Addie Belle Browder McLellan, she died April 7, 1999, at an Ardmore hospital after an brief illness. She married John Dewey Porter on March 13, 1926, at Farwell, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1967. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Jack Porter in 1989, and Johnny Porter in 1996; a daughter, Marilyn Ruth Jackson, in 1997; and twin siblings.
She was raised at Velma-Alma where she attended school. After graduation she taught for one year at Cawley Schools. She and her husband lived in Texas and California and worked in a Civil Defense plant during World War II before returning to Ringling in 1961 from Hereford, Texas.
Survivors include one son, Gene Porter, Ringling; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Family members served as bearers.
Services were under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home, Ringling.
