EDMOND -- Services for Cleo B. White, 79, are 10 a.m. Monday at Baggerly Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 4 p.m. at Highland Cemetery, Durant.
Born Aug. 17, 1919, at Marietta to Samuel and Bertha Wallace, she died April 9, 1999, at Oklahoma City. She married Clark White on April 4, 1943. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Harold Wallace, and a half-sister Pekali Landrum.
An educator, Mrs. White was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and the Oklahoma Retired Educators Association. She was active in the Highland Park Baptist Church and the Democratic party.
Survivors include sons, James and Bill, both Oklahoma City, John, Lacey, Wash., and Ben, Edmond; one brother, Bennett Wallace, Ardmore; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Retired Educators Foundation, P.O. Box 18485, Oklahoma City, OK 73154; or the Highland Park Baptist Church Building Fund.
Graveside services for Karlene Elles, 76 were scheduled for 1 p.m. today in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Pastor Paul Crosby officiating.
Mrs. Elles was born March 8, 1923, to Carl D. and Emma N. Tackett and died April 10, 1999, in Tulsa. She had worked in the Credit Bureau as a credit counselor.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Bayles, Tulsa; two sons, Billy Belles, Dallas and Bobby Elles, Plano, Texas; two brothers, Doyle Tackett, Edmond, and Kenneth Tackett of Gainesville, Texas; one sister, Betty Padgett, Texas; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services under the direction of Floral Haven Funeral Home of Broken Arrow.
MARIETTA -- Services for Rosie J. Kitchens, Marietta, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Kennedy Funeral Home Chapel, with her son-in-law, the Rev. Bill Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
Born April 9, 1904, at Forestburg, Texas, to Andrew and Lou Harris Monroe, Mrs. Kitchens died April 12, 1999, in the Marietta hospital. She was 95.
Mrs. Kitchens had lived in Love County since 1920, the year she married Luther T. Kitchens. He preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 1974. She was a homemaker and member of Burneyville Baptist Church. She also was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
She is survived by two sons, L.T., Ardmore, and Claud, Los Angeles; two daughters, Geneva Shankles, Burneyville, and Glade Gibson, El Paso; 18 grandchildren; several great-, great-great- and great-great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home, 100 E. Main St., Marietta.
PONTOTOC -- Services for Wilson Harden, 86, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Pontotoc Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the Pontotoc Cemetery.
Harden was born Sept. 16, 1912, in Franks, to Andrew Jay and Nora Iva Hooper Harden. He died April 11, 1999, in Pontotoc.
Harden was a rancher who lived in the Pontotoc area most of his life. He graduated from Pontotoc High School.
He was preceded in death by his wife Polly Compton Harden and one son, Hardy Harden.
Harden is survived by three daughters, Sue Combes, Madill, Gail Lanier, Oklahoma City and Linda Maughan, Moore; one brother, Kenneth Harden, Fittstown; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Corbin Funeral Home of Tishomingo.
RINGLING -- Funeral services for Peat Miller, 96, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. J.W. Ray officiating. Interment will follow in Ringling Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Miller died April 13, 1999, in the Ardmore hospital.
The son of Frank P. and Elvira Cupps Miller, he was born Oct. 5, 1902, in Spanish Fort, Texas, and lived all of his life in the Grady-Ringling area. He married Nancy Craze on Oct. 29, 1922, at Grady. She preceded him in death on Oct. 12, 1985. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Melburn and Logan Miller; and one sister, Bessie Slawson.
Mr. Miller was a carpenter and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Bud, Ringling; five daughters, Juleen Wigham and Letha Wade, both of Ringling, Dean Allen, Oklahoma City, Gayle Spivey, Prague, and Joy McLain, Lone Grove; one sister, Hazel Lester, Ringling; 19 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as bearers.
Reser Funeral Home is in charge of services.
GREENVILLE -- Graveside services for Jewell E. Henderson, Ardmore, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Greenville Cemetery with Bro. Scott Gordon officiating.
Mrs. Henderson was born Dec. 29, 1916, at Marietta to Ezra P. and Nettie J. Raye Colston. She died April 11, 1999, at the Ardmore hospital at the age of 82 years, 3 months and 12 days.
Mrs. Henderson grew up in and attended school at Marietta. She earned an associate's degree from Cooke County College, and received a bachelor's degree and teaching certificate from Adams State College at Alamosa, Colo., in 1969. She taught public school in Colorado until her retirement. She then worked as a realtor in Texas and Oklahoma until her illness.
She attended and played piano for Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta, and was a past member of Evening Star. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Colston and Edna Mae Housley; her stepmother, Lillie Colston; and a stepbrother, James Barber.
Survivors include a son, Joel Andy Henderson, Oklahoma City; a daughter, Cindy Rose, Tulsa; a stepbrother, Harold Barber, Florida; a stepsister, Ruby Muncy, Marietta; a grandson, John Rose, Tulsa; nephews David Montgomery, Greenville, and Jerry Montgomery and his wife, Susan, Overbrook; numerous great-nephews and great-nieces; and a host of cousins.
Bearers will be nephews. Honorary bearers are Calvin Montgomery, Bob and Joe Colston, Don, Jerry and Billy Flanagan.
Services are under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home, Marietta.

Services for Ida Lee Michael will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the Maxwell Avenue Church of Christ with Dr. Virgil Trout officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Denver City, Texas, cemetery.
Mrs. Michael was born to Roy and Hattie Jamison on June 22, 1908, at Fort Smith, Ark., and died in a local health care facility on April 13, 1999.
She was first married to Lloyd Deets, who preceded her in death. She then married Robert Michael, who also preceded her in death. Mrs. Michael had lived in Ardmore since moving from Denver City in 1971. She was a member of the Maxwell Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Lloyd Alan Deets, Houston; two daughters, Shirley Barnett, Ardmore, and Donna Jones, Ringling; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Bearers will be Kelly Kemp, Rick, Randy and David Jones, Matt and Shannon Smith, Jeremy, Westin and Wade Deets.
Services will be under the direction of Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home.
ALTUS -- Funeral services for Travis Craig Phelps, 52, were at 10 a.m. today in the Kincannon-Lee Funeral Home Chapel with Ronald Phelps officiating. Interment will follow in the Martha, Okla., cemetery.
Born Nov. 14, 1946, in Altus to Bill and Velma Bussey Phelps, he died April 12, 1999, at his home. Phelps lived in Altus and later in Golden, Colo. On Sept. 22, 1965, he married Judy Goan in Salina, Tenn., and lived in Golden before returning to Altus in 1975. Phelps was a self-employed electrician.
He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter, Terasa, in 1971.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a daughter, Leslie Westmoreland, Ardmore; a son, Travis Brent, Pauls Valley; his mother, Velma Phelps, Grand Junction, Colo.; a brother, Ronald, Golden; a sister, Teri Watson, Grand Junction; and two granddaughters.
HEALDTON -- Services for Mary Green, 93, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Reser Funeral Chapel with Alan Eck officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery.
Born Nov. 18, 1905, to Freelander and Molly Masters Self in Louisiana, she died April 12, 1999, in a Healdton health care facility. Reared in Louisiana, she married Estes Green on Aug. 22, 1928, at Many, La. They moved to Healdton 45 years ago. Mr. Green preceded her in death on Dec. 30, 1995. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Ray in 1963, and Jesse in 1933; five brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include two sons, William "Jack", Hogansville, Ga., and Billy Dean, Dickson; two daughters, Dorothy Wealand, Hoyleton, Ill., and Louise Griffin, Healdton; 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
SULPHUR -- Graveside services for Ruby Helen Hudson, 83, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev. Tim Moore officiating.
Hudson was born March 22, 1916, to Elza W. and Janie May Patton Triplett in Puerto Rico, Mo. She died April 14, 1999 in Ada. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Hudson. She worked in the Oklahoma School for the Deaf as a housemother for more than 21 years prior to her retirement. Hudson was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by two daughters Donna Sue Clark, Stillwater, Sharon Kay Hargis, Sulphur; four sons Jerry Clapp, Tulsa, Bill Clapp, Washington, D.C., Denny Hudson, Oklahoma City, Ted Hudson, Oklahoma City; one brother Elmer Earl Triplett, Avant; one sister Ethel Smiley, Tulsa; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services are under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
Services for former Ardmore resident Grace Brown will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Chapel with Pastor Harvey Kornegay officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Brown was born to O.L. and Alta Brooksher on July 19, 1911, at Elmore City. She died April 14, 1999, in a Corpus Christi, Texas, health care facility.
She married Thedus Brown in 1926 at Elmore City. He preceded her in death in 1978. Mrs. Brown was a licensed vocation nurse and a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include a son, Waymon Brown, Longview, Texas; daughter, Claudia Coggin, Corpus Christi; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Cecil M. (Bub) Harvey, Lowell Keeton, Branson Baker, Dorn Moore, Dr. James Carlson and Dr. George Carlson.
MARLOW -- Services for Robert Leon Deal, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Deal officiating. Interment will follow at Bailey Cemetery.
Deal was born Oct. 3, 1911, in Goree, Texas, to James Robert and Maybell Powell Deal. He died April 15, 1999, in a Healdton health care facility. He was an auto mechanic who lived in Healdton and Marlow all of his life.
He married Erman Pauline Foundren on Dec. 11, 1935, at Ardmore. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Leon "Butch" Deal Jr., Healdton, and Norman Deal, Atoka; five daughters, Bobbie Morgan, Healdton, Billie Sweetman, Duncan, Betty Sweetman, Chickasha, Vera "Toni" Beck, Healdton and Roberta "Jayne" Irwin, Healdton; one brother, J.W. Deal, Missouri; 26 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be grandsons.
