SULPHUR SPRINGS, Texas -- Funeral services for Alice T. Bishop,101, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Tapp Funeral Home Chapel with Shane Carrington officiating. Interment will be in the Ridgeway Cemetery with Roy Wallace, Bobby Wallace, Donald Wallace, James Deas, Jr., Scott Randall and Dr. Dale McMillon serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles McMillon, and James Deas, Sr.
Bishop died April 27, 1999 at the Sulphur Springs hospital. She was born in Daylight, Tennessee on February 25, 1898 to John and Nettie Sowells Tubb. She married Calvin H. Bishop in the Sulphur Bluff Community in 1921. He preceded her in death on December 20, 1959. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest, Brown, and Fred Tubb; two sisters Mattie Griffin and Delphia Goodman.
She is survived by her two daughters; Dorothy Deas of Cordova, Tenn., and Ruth McMillon of Ardmore, Ok; one brother Tom Tubb of Sulphur Springs; one sister Julia Holt of Sulphur Springs; five grandchildren; thirteen step-grandchildren and five great/grandchildren.
Services under the direction of Tapp Funeral Home.
MANNSVILLE -- Services for Lela Gray, 89, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Mannsville Baptist Church with Ken McCarthick officiating. Interment will follow at Willis Cemetery.
Born Nov. 20, 1909, at Willis, she died April 30, 1999, at a Norman health care facility. She was preceded in death by three sons, Oliver E. Gray, Ollie R. Gray and Carl W. Gray; two grandsons; and two great-grandsons.
Mrs. Gray was reared in the Willis area. She married Ollie Willis "Bud" Gray on March 11, 1928, at Powell. They lived in the Willis area until 1947, moving to Russett and later moving to Mannsville in 1965. In 1966 she moved to Norman, where she lived the remainder of her life. She was a member of the Mannsville Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Tommy Gray, Norman, Donald Gray, Newalla, Dan Gray and Ernest Gray, both Mannsville, and Charles Gray, Russett; four daughters, Margie Forguson and Leoma McClung, both Russett, and Geneva Rigney and Betty Green, both Mannsville; 28 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as bearers.
Services are under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill.
DENVER -- Services for Clifford Dinwiddie are pending with Caldwell-Kirk Funeral Home.
Dinwiddie died April 30, 1999, at Denver.

Born March 15, 1942, at Ackerman, Miss., to Frank and Lottie Jewell Smith, he died May 1, 1999, at a local hospital.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy Caldwell, Ardmore; two brothers, Everett and James Wood, both Ardmore; five sisters, Annette Richardson, Ardmore, Bonnie Lawrence, Orange Park, Fla., Betty Hart, Boyle, Miss., Lula Morris, Ardmore, and Eunice Faye Rich, Watonga; and four grandchildren.
LEBANON -- Services for Hubert M. "Red" Renick, 79, Kingsville, Texas, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Christ with Doye Willis and Cole Tidwell officiating. Interment will follow at Legate Cemetery, rural Love County.
Born Jan. 13, 1920, at Love County to Claude M. and Mary Ellen Wainscott Renick, he died April 29, 1999, east of Hugo. He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Renick was reared in the Legate Community. He later lived and worked in the California shipyards during World War II. He also had lived in Texas and Arkansas. He retired from the oilfield as a seismographer. He was of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include three sons, Claude Renick, Poncha Springs, Colo., Lonnie Renick, Heavener, and Bob Renick, Poteau; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Carey Renick, Kenny Renick, Brad Renick, Mike Renick, Tim Olive and Luke Renick.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday at Kennedy Funeral Home, Marietta.
MARIETTA -- Graveside rites for Ralph Vernon Kerley, 88, of Ardmore, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Lakeview Cemetery with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating.
Born June 24, 1910, at Cornish to Hugh A. and Hettie Chapman Kerley, he died April 30, 1999, at an Ardmore health care facility. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roland.
Kerley graduated from Zaneis High School and Bakersfield College. He married Elva Campbell on June 28, 1933, at Wilson. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ardmore. Kerley worked for the State of Oklahoma Highway Department and as a bookkeeper for Carter County before his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; one son, Robert, of the home; one brother, Richard Kerley, Bakersfield, Calif.; and one sister, Bobbye Jean Wollan, Santa Fe, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 6:30 this evening at Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home.
Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday for Douglas S. Wood, 57, who died Saturday in the local hospital.

SULPHUR -- Funeral services for Claude Hill, 92, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Sulphur First Baptist Church, with Eddie Malphrus officiating. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Born Feb. 18, 1907, in Bonham, Texas, to Edgar Lee and Mary A. Dale Hill, he died May 3, 1999, in an Ada hospital.
Hill lived in Wolfe City, Texas, before moving to Sulphur in 1927. He married Maurine Grider on July 14, 1935, and they moved to Sherman, Texas, from 1942-45, before returning to Sulphur and Murray County, where he lived the remainder of his life. He was a Chevrolet car salesman, was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church, member of the SASO choir, senior citizens center and General Motors Legion of Leaders.
His wife preceded him in death on Nov. 30, 1996. He was also preceded by a son, Jerry Hill; and a daughter, Mary Sue Hill.
He is survived by a son, Don Hill, Ada; two daughters, Claudelle White, Moore, and Fran Nobles, Yukon; three sisters, Inez Carlton, Vernon, Texas, Della Lewis, Sulphur, and Anna Lee Cox, Camarillo, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be grandsons, Danny White, Scott and Kent Nobles, Greg, Cason, Queston and Colby Hill.
Services are under the direction of Cowley-Krien Funeral Home.
MARIETTA -- Richard "Dude" Gale, 86, died May 3, 1999, at the Love County hospital. He was born June 24, 1912, at Terrell, Texas, to Richard Sr. and Zelda Coffman Gale.
He had lived in Love County since 1946, moving here from Gainesville, Texas. A World War II veteran of the United States Army, he was awarded a bronze star for his service in northern France. A retired farmer and rancher, he was a Baptist and member of the American Legion Post 136 of Marietta.
He is survived by two sisters, Juanita Stevens, Burneyville, and Marie McCool, Madera, Calif.
The were no public services. Burial arrangements were under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home.
RINGLING -- Services for Willie ElMinia "Mina" Porterfield, 78, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Community Fellowship Assembly of God with the Rev. Jack Barron officiating, Interment will be in Ringling Memorial Cemetery.
Porterfield was born Jan. 15, 1921, to William and Maudie Autrey in Jefferson County and died May 3, 1999, in an Oklahoma City Hospital. She attended Mountain Home School and married Bill Porterfield on Oct. 21, 1935. She was a homemaker and had worked as a cook for Ringling Schools and as a seamstress. Her husband preceded her in death on Jan. 4, 1999.
She is survived by four sons, Ray Porterfield, Ringling, W.J. Porterfield Jr., Cartwright, Finley D. Porterfield, Enid and Richard Porterfield, of the home; one daughter, Mattie Teague, Ardmore; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Jeff Scott, James Porterfield, Cris Malone, Doug Farris and Paul Evans.
Services under the direction of Reser Funeral Home.
MARIETTA -- Graveside services for Willena J. Murphey, 87, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lakeview Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Higle officiating.
Murphey was born Jan. 25, 1912, in Crawley, Texas, to William and Mamie Brawner Cline and died May 3, 1999, in a Gunter, Texas, nursing home. She married Glenn L. Murphey on Dec. 11, 1934, in Madill. He preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 1996. She was a homemaker and member of the First United Methodist Church of Dallas.
Also preceding her in death were one brother, Charles Cline and one sister Wanda Robertson.
She is survived by one daughter, Joy Murphey, of the home and one sister, Willie Florine Burkett, Pearland, Texas.
Services are under the direction Kennedy Funeral Home.
WYNNEWOOD -- Services for Clarence Edward Ingram, 70, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Beaty Baptist Church with the Rev. Finis Steelman officiating. Interment will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery.
Ingram was born Feb. 7, 1929, in Wynnewood to Floyd and Bertha Cowell Ingram and died May 2, 1999. He married Virginia Embree on Aug. 21, 1976 in Tulsa. He was a farmer for 22 years in Elmore City.
He is survived by his wife of the home; one daughter, Cathie Males, Oklahoma City; one stepdaughter, Deborah Miller, Oklahoma City; two sons, Edward and Michael Ingram, Oklahoma City; one stepson, Melvin Jay, Oklahoma City; one sister, Margie Tucker, Webber Falls; one brother, Clyde Ingram, Oklahoma City; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
