MADILL -- Services for Maggie V. Henson, 90, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Watts Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Danny Stewart and Chris Webb officiating. Interment will follow in Willis Cemetery.
Mrs. Henson was born Aug. 30, 1908, at Linn. She died May 10, 1999, at the Madill hospital following two years of declining health. Reared in the Willis community, she married Lloyd Henson on Oct. 29, 1925, at Powell. They lived for several years at Fobb and later lived in Dallas, San Antonio, Port Arthur, Texas, and Oklahoma City before returning to Madill in 1944. She was a member of the Madill Church of Christ for 68 years.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a daughter, Glenda Henson, Willis, a brother, Clayton Johnson, Durant; one grandson and two great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be George Putnam, Otis Wilson, Billy Tom, Bill and Bob Ayres, Kenny Ballou, Walker Horn and Francis Nelson.
HEALDTON -- Services for Ernest A. 'Ernie' Tayar, 66, will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church with the Revs. Russell Cheatham and Dan Patman officiating. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
Tayar was born Jan. 24, 1933, in Healdton, the youngest child of Frank and Emily Massad Tayar, and died May 11, 1999, following a brief illness. He was lovingly called "Ernie" and was an exceptional person, truly a child of God. He was loved by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Zeek Tayar and a brother, Joe Tayar.
Since the death of his mother, he had made his home with his sister, Marguerite. His favorite pastime was playing Skip-Bo with his friends Lucille, Evelyn, Hazel, Gwen, Ruth, Phyllis and Beverly.
Tayar attended Healdton Public Schools and was an active and loyal member of the First United Methodist Church in Healdton where he served as an usher for several years. He was a faithful member of the Wednesday Morning Prayer Group.
He is survived by his brothers, Fred Tayar, Ardmore, Tenel Tayar and his wife Maha, The Woodlands, Texas; sisters, Josephine Abousssie and husband James, Altus, Edith Beal, Oklahoma City, Marjory Saied and her husband William, Oklahoma City and Marguerite Tayar, Healdton; sister-in-law Mrs. Joe Tayar, Healdton and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Bearers will be nephews, Joey Tayar, Mark Tayar, Freddy Tayar, Elby J. Beal, William Tayar and Tenel H. Tayar.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 456, Healdton, OK 73438.
Services are under the direction of Reser Funeral Home.
CRINERVILLE -- Graveside rites for Faye Orpha Harris, 70, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Crinerville Cemetery with the Rev. Sherry Heath officiating.
Born Jan. 31, 1929, in Otway, Ohio, to Ronald and Dorothy Miller Ivers, she died May 11, 1999, at her Kingston residence.
She married Edward Harris on Jan. 1, 1950, in Ardmore. She moved from Ardmore to Kingston, where she lived for the past 49 years. She worked as a nurse, but later became a housewife. She attended the Pentecostal church.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a daughter, Dianne Richards, Ardmore; two grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Bill and Willy Williams, Carlis Perez, Mike Hamilton, Rodney Wayne and Eddie Jack Richards.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home, where services are being directed.

PONCA CITY -- Services for Martha Alice Richter, longtime Ponca City resident, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Central Baptist Church with the Rev. John Waterloo, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Charles Richey, pastor of Webb City Assembly of God. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Trout Funeral Home.
Mrs. Richter died May 10, 1999, at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center at the age of 74.
Born April 22, 1925, at Ardmore, she was the daughter of Arch Otto and Mary Alice Brumley Ratliff. She attended Deese rural schools near Ardmore. During World War II, she was employed by the defense plant at Anaheim, Calif., and later by Pruett's Produce in Ardmore. She moved to Ponca City in 1951, where she attended beauty school. She worked as a beautician at Fay's Beauty Shop in the Dodge's Drug Store for a number of years, and later worked as a waitress at the QuoVadis restaurant. Mrs. Richter operated The Knit Shop until ill health forced her retirement.
She married Vernon L. Richter on Aug. 19, 1955, in Pawhuska, and was a member of Central Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon, Shawn Manor Nursing Home; a daughter, Alice F. Newlin, Shidler; a brother Raymond Ratliff, Ardmore; four granddaughters; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
Bearers will be Dee Cooper, Stan Bishop, Todd Roe, John Hurd, Dee Johnston and H.B. Bishop. Honorary casket bearers will be great-grandchildren.

DANVILLE, Ark. -- Services for Oma Keys George, 88, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Bobby Walker and Lacy Minnie officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. George was born Dec. 19, 1910, in Briggsville, Ark., to Monroe and Cora Spears Keys. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bluffton, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.L. "Bill" George, and her daughter, Gladys Vaughn.
She is survived by four sons, Raymond and Lonnie George, Danville, Billy Gene George, Pearcy, Ark., and Johnny George, Mannsville; one daughter, Lucille Talley, Chickalah, Ark.; three sisters, Tressie Hawkins, Jones Mill Ark., Blanch Jordan, Malvern, Ark., Dealy Corder, Hot Springs, Ark.; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Cornwell Funeral Home.
Services for Irene Hill Lebo are pending with Craddock Funeral Home. She was born Nov. 30, 1912, in Ardmore and died May 12, 1999, in Fort Worth, Texas.
She is survived by a son, William T. "Bill" Lebo, North Richland Hills, Texas; two sisters, Mary Lou Fisher, Ardmore, and Thelma June George, Anaheim, Calif.; and two granddaughters.
Services for Vester L. "Buck" Ladner, 77, are pending with Kennedy Funeral Home.
Ladner was born Jan. 24, 1922, in Jimtown to Sylvester and Mattie Johnson Ladner and died May 8, 1999, at Gardnerville, Nev.
He is survived by two sons, Jim Sparks, Spearfish, S.D., and Jimmie Dean Ladner, Gardenville; two brothers, Bay Ladner, Dallas, and Ott Ladner, Jimtown; six sisters, Ruby Mapp, Jimtown, Azaline Hays and Sue Taliaferro, both of Marietta, Poline Monkres, De Soto, Texas, Grace Graham, Duncanville, Texas, and Frances Foster, Tilfen, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Services for Annie Choate, 87, are pending with Reser Funeral Home. Choate died May 12, 1999, in the Healdton Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest, on June 22, 1964.
She is survived by sons, Bill Choate, John Day, Oregon, and Bobby Joe Choate, Ringling; four daughters, Lorene Crook and Joy Tanner, both Ringling, Betty Smith and Ruth Keeton, both Lone Grove; 49 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Nora Littrell will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Northwest Baptist Church with Dr. Vaughn Crowe-Tipton officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Littrell was born Sept. 8, 1921, at Texarkana, Ark., to the late John E. and Ruby Phillips. She died May 12, 1999, at her residence. She married James Ellis Littrell on June 20, 1937, at Arcadia Park, Texas. He preceded her in death on April 21, 1995.
Mrs. Littrell had lived in Ardmore since 1967, coming from Grand Prairie, Texas. She was retired from Mercy Memorial Health Center, having worked there many years as a registered nurse, and was currently employed by the Oklahoma Veterans Center. She was a member and deacon of Northwest Baptist Church and member of the Ardmore Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne Littrell, Hiram, Ga., and Roger Littrell, Ardmore; a daughter, Shirley Ogle, Arlington, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Jim Fine, Grant and Bill Owen, Donnie Williams, Jim Hamilton and Ray Griffin.
Services are under the direction of Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home.
Services for Jacob Angel Castillo, 20, will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Harvey-Douglas Chapel with the Rev. Bill Freeman officiating. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
Born to E.Y. and Lillian Nunez Castillo on Nov. 27, 1978, in Cuero, Texas, Castillo died May 12, 1999, in a local hospital. He moved here in 1987 and married Sonja McCullough on Feb. 17, 1996, in Ardmore. He was a member of the New Covenant Church. He was employed by Mercy Memorial Health Center.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; a son, Gregory Denver Castillo, and daughter, Zoe Marie Castillo, both of the home; his parents; three brothers, Eric Castillo and Esty Castillo, both of Ardmore, and Joey Castanon, Corpus Christi, Texas; and two sisters, Cindy Castanon and Ginny Bullens, both of Ardmore.
Services are under the direction of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Services for Thelma "Nanaw" Anderson Steel, 89, will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Brookwood Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery.
Steel was born March 9, 1910, in DeQueen, Ark., to Clyde and Elizabeth Holcomb Eliiott and died May 11, 1999, at an Oklahoma City hospital. Steel was preceded in death by her husbands, Everett Anderson, Oris Lemons and James Steel; one daughter, J. Joan Hackney; two sisters, Georgia Helen Elliot and Julia Book; one brother, Raymond Elliott; and s grandson.
She is survived three brothers, Brooks, Dale and Clyde Elliott; four sisters, Lucille McCarthey, Marjorie Ballard, Bessie Cummings and Vergie Bridges; one daughter-in-law; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home.
