Services for Bernetta Eugena Bonneau, 95, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Noble Chapel of First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Rick Mills officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Born Dec. 28, 1903, at Culver, Kan., to James Milton and Almeda Green Shields, she died Aug. 8, 1999, in a local nursing facility.
A resident of Ardmore since 1932, she graduated from Philips University in 1924 with a teaching degree. She married Albert Henri Bonneau on Nov. 19, 1924, in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 1970.
Mrs. Bonneau was an active member of First Presbyterian Church.
Her survivors include two daughters, Jo Bette Cook, Abilene, Texas, and Peggy Jeanne Barbieri, Oklahoma City; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Tony Held, John Ayers, Rick Cook, David Barbieri, Tim McMahan and Jim McGowan.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home, were services are being arranged.
MARIETTA - Services for W.B. Looney, 90, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Christ with Bro. Floyd Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
Looney was born July 7, 1909, in Burneyville to Dr. M.D. and Euna B. Burney Looney. He died Aug. 9, 1999, in the Ardmore hospital. He first married Mildred Brooks, Dec. 24, 1933. She preceded him death on Jan 29, 1982. He then married Ruth L. Prichard on Sept. 11, 1982 who preceded him in death Dec. 23, 1985. He later married Oleta Hicks on April 19, 1986. She preceded him in death on June 3, 1990. Also preceding him in death was one sister, Peggy Curran.
Looney attended the University of Oklahoma and became the Love County Treasurer from which he retired his post in 1942. He was also a retired farmer and rancher. He served in WWII in the U.S. Air Force. Looney was a member of Burch Brothers American Legion Post, a 32nd degree Mason, a 40-year-member of the Love County Excise Board and a board member of the Brannen Charitable Trust for the Love County Health Center.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; Becky and Joe Shinn, Houston; three granddaughters and their husbands, Julianna Shinn, Houston, Mandi and Todd Liddell, Keller, Texas, Polly and Perry Monaco, Tulsa; two great-grandchildren, Jordan Brooks and Reagan Gail Liddell; one niece, Cheron and her husband, Clint Adams, Dallas, Texas, and one great-niece, Kristi and her husband, Travis Taylor, Austin, Texas.
Bearers will be Phillip Birdsall, John Yarbrough, Jerry Kerr, Todd Liddell, Perry Manaco and Tim Hicks. Honorary bearers will be Dude Riley, Dr. J.T. OšConnor Jr., Jerry Cowan, Bill Shankles, Joe Rose, Gene Shepard, Bob Brock, Fletcher Coble, Todd Hicks and Toby Hicks.
Viewing will be at the funeral home until 9 tonight.
Memorials can be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
SULPHUR - Services for Ivie Wells will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Swain officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
Born May 3, 1906, in Mill Creek, Indian Territory, to Richard Pittman and Rhodie Ellen Waller, she died Aug. 8, 1999, in Sulphur at the age of 93.
A lifelong resident of the Mill Creek-Sulphur area, she was affiliated with the Assembly of God church and was a homemaker, having married Lee Vernon Wells on Dec. 20, 1922, at Sulphur. He preceded her in death, as did a daughter, Leta OšNeal.
She is survived by two daughters, Mardell McClure, Acworth, Ga., and Juanita Vernell Poteet, Tulsa; five sons, L.V. Wells Jr., T.Z. Wells, Dorsey Wells and Scotty Wells, Sulphur, and Tommy Wells, Harrah; 21 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be grandsons.
DAVIS - Services for Bobbie J. Chambers, 65, will be 1 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with Rev. Lonny Lee officiating. Interment will be at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Midwest City.
Chambers was born July 24, 1934 in Eakly, to Clinton Virgil and Odessa Mae Toles Hixow. She died Aug. 8, 1999.
Chambers lived in Oklahoma City until 1995, when she moved to Murray County. She enjoyed interior decorating and catering and was actively involved in the First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Ray Chambers in 1984 and one brother, Billy Joe Hixow in 1989.
She is survived by her mother; one daughter, Teresa Bradshaw, Davis; two brothers, Leon Hixow, Mustang and Fred Hixow, Blanchard; one sister, Barbara Heger, Weatherford, and two granddaughters.
Bearers will be Buck Wilson, Jerry White, Jack Dudley, J.C. Neal, Wayne Webb, Terry Church, Bo Sanders and Dr. Daniel Eggenberg.
Services under the direction of Krien Funeral Home.
MADILL- Services for Lorene Nelson, 80, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with Roy Oates officiating. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
Mrs. Nelson was born Oct. 20, 1918, in Caney, Ok. to Henry and Ada Dollar Burgess. She died Aug. 8, 1999, in the Madill hospital following an extended illness. She was raised in Caney and had lived in Dallas and California before moving to Madill in 1970. She married Van Nelson on her birthday in 1976. She worked as a nursešs aide at Marshall Memorial Hospital for 25 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, of the home; one son, Jeff Truesdell, Madill; one sister, Sybil Lawless, Madill, and one grandson.
Bearers will be Jeff Truesdell, Jeff Truesdell, Jr., Wayne Starkey, Troy Blakely, Sam Ritchey and Dick Morgan.
Services are under the direction of Watts Funeral Home.
DOUGHERTY - Graveside services for Herman Roach, 73, were at 10 a.m. today at the Dougherty Cemetery with Rev. Chopper McCartney officiating.
Roach was born Sept. 30, 1925, in Dougherty to Oscar Burl and Goldie Roach. He died Aug. 6, 1999.
Roach served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a merchant seaman for 30 years. He also worked in air conditioning and refrigerator repair for 20 years.
Preceding him in death was one brother, Montie Roach.
He is survived by one daughter, Debbie Green, Chowchilla, Calif., one son, Willie Roach, Fresno, Calif., three brothers, Ed Roach, Gridley, Calif., Ronnie Roach, Barstow, Calif. and Millard Roach, Magalia, Calif.
Bearers will be David Stephens, Harold McDonald and Charlie Gooch.
Services are under the direction of the Fox Funeral Home.
DURWOOD - Services for Leona Jefferson, 77, of Moore, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Durwood Baptist Church, with the Rev. Albert Simon officiating. Interment will be in Durwood Cemetery under the direction of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.
Born Nov. 10, 1921, in Madill to Columbus and Effie Johnson Tubbee, she died Aug. 8, 1999, at an Oklahoma City hospital.
A former Ardmoreite, Mrs. Jefferson lived in Moore the past eight years, moving from California. A housewife and member of the Durwood Baptist Church, she married Amaziah B. Jefferson on March 21, 1947, in Achille. She was preceded in death by a sister, Agnes Taylor; and a son, Thomas Lewis.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; three daughters, Jackie Alaniz and Sallie Gilbert, Moore, and Nina Canoe, Oklahoma CIty; two brothers, J.C. and Donnie Tubbee, Ardmore; two sisters, Alice Taylor, Ardmore, and Ida Taylor, Madill; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be John Gilbert Sr., John Gilbert Jr., Steven Gilbert, Raymond Fernandez, Amos Taylor Jr. and Donnie Tubbee.
Mrs. Jefferson will lie in state at the Durwood Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon from 3 p.m. until the time of service.
WILSON - Services for Esther Moya Loyd, 66, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson First Baptist Church, with the Revs. Darrel Bunch and Jason Langley officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, under the direction of Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home.
Born Dec. 17, 1932, in Navasota, Texas, to John and Jane Castro, she passed away to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Aug. 9, 1999, at an Oklahoma City hospital.
She married Jesse James Loyd in 1953 in Paris, Texas. She was preceded in death by a son, Jesse Michael Loyd; and a sister, Maria Baldibino.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, James David, and his wife, Gayla Marie Loyd, Wilson; a daughter, Mitzie, and her husband, Clark S. Smith, Del City; three brothers, Jose, Tomas and Cruz Castro; two sisters, Herminia Rodriguez and Lillia Dominguez; five grandchildren, Alisha Marie Loyd, Christopher James David Loyd, Adam Walter Rosko, Jessica Esther Rosko and Matthew James Smith.
Bearers will be Clark S. Smith, Adam Rosko, Matthew Smith and her friends at the First Baptist Church of Wilson.
DAVIS - No services are scheduled for LaWanda Blevins, 75, who died Aug. 8, 1999. She was born to Robert Claude and Jewell Mansker Boyd in Prague. She worked as a self-employed antique dealer for more than 20 years.
Boyd is survived by one daughter, Kay Blevins Drake, Davis; one son, Kenneth Blevins, Oklahoma City; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Fox Funeral Home.
OKLAHOMA CITY - Services for Pruitt City resident Earl E. Addington, 77, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Chuck Newell officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens.
Addington was born Jan. 23, 1922, to Henry and Gracie Shirley Addington in Oklahoma City. He married Carmeleta Vian on Nov. 1, 1941, in Oklahoma City. He had worked for Kobe Pump for 18 years. He owned and operated Fox Grocery for several years and had lived in the area for 41 years.
He was preceded in death by one son, Royce and one grandchild, Allen.
He survived by his wife, of the home; one daughter Barbara Montgomery, Chickasha; three sons, Mickey Addington, Aara, Colo., Lean Addington, Marietta and Jackie Addington, Healdton; one sister Margret Singleton, Blanchard; one brother, Eugene Addington, Tecumseh; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Milburn Funeral Home of Ratliff City.

SULPHUR - Services for Betty Jean Caldwell, 68, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Hardoin officiating. Interment will be at Drake Cemetery.
Mrs. Caldwell was born Nov. 12, 1930, in Maysville to John Henry and Maude Ethel Sexton Richardson. She died Aug. 9, 1999. She married Verdie Caldwell in 1948 in Littlefield, Texas. Caldwell grew up around Maysville at attended school at Whitebead. She was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.
She is survived by her husband of the home; two daughters, Cindy White, Sulphur, and Gayla Evans, Sulphur; three sons, Verdie Wayne Caldwell, Kevin Caldwell and Dave Caldwell, all of Sulphur; one sister, Fern Gersten, Sulphur; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Her grandsons will serve as bearers. Services are under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
