Graveside services for Ura Carl Jackson, 85, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2000, at Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. David Allen officiating.
Jackson was born Sept. 5, 1914, at Wilson, to Seymore and Jewel Jackson. He died April 18, 2000, in a local health care facility.
Raised in Wilson, he moved to ARdmore and worked at Bell Oil and Gas Refinery. He was a carpenter and site manager for the Southern Oklahoma Nutrition Center. He was an auctioneer, an avid fisherman, and founding member and builder of K Street Baptist Church. He and Mollie Mae Hall were married Aug. 8, 1934, at Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Mae, of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Don Hickey of Tishomingo, Tanya and Bruce Loard of Ardmore; brothers, H.L. of Lewisville, Texas, Wayland of Fresno, Calif., and Jerry of Norman; sister, Foy Jones of Ardmore; grandchildren, Carrie Goddard of Ardmore, Mark Hickey of Fairfax, Va., Mindy Landis of Aspen, Colo., Kirk Loard of Chicago, and Brandon Loard of Poolville; and great-grandchildren, Katie and Jerry Goddard Adam Hickey and Mary and Jack Landis.
Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home will direct services.
Graveside services for Nettie D. Newman Cantrell, 45, Colorado Springs, Colo., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Province Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Royal officiating.
Mrs. Cantrell was born Nov. 26, 1954, in New Mexico, to Lois and Josephine Sewell Cantrell. She died April 18, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Davis, Ardmore; three sons, Bob Newman, Lone Grove, Adam Waltz and Chris Cantrell, Ardmore; her mother, Josephine Cantrell, Ardmore; three sisters, Tanda Duncan, Madill, Iva Jo Oxford and Camille Bean, Ardmore; three brothers, Eddie Cantrell, Madill, Tony Cantrell, Ardmore, and Lenny Cantrell, Shertz, Texas; and three grandchildren.
Bearers will be Dusty Keith, Audra King, Jay Hoskins, Jeremy and Halley Cantrell, Charlie and Jessie Bean.

HEALDTON -- Memorial services for Barbara Lee Rhodes, 63, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Assembly of God Church with the Rev. John Harris officiating.
Mrs. Rhodes was born Dec. 31, 1936, at Alliance, Neb., to Willard and Anna Sumner Covert. She died April 19, 2000, at her residence.
Reared in Boise, Idaho, she married J.W. Rhodes Feb. 23, 1960, in Las Vegas, and was the bookkeeper for their construction company. She was a member of Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a daughter, Terrie Nelson, Hesperia, Calif.; two sons, Richard, Topock, Ariz., and Stewart, Lone Grove; her mother, Anna Anderson; and sister, Bonnie Whitner, Boise; and eight grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice, 1514 Meadow Lane, Ardmore, Ok. 73401.

Services for former Ardmore resident Hazel Emma Pearl Smith, 95, Stephenville, Texas, will be at 3 p.m. today at Maxwell Avenue Church of Christ with Virgil Trout officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith was born Nov. 15, 1904, in Crossville, Tenn., to Alford and Annie Elizabeth France. She died April 18, 2000, in Stephenville.
She was the widow of Frank Smith, who died Sept. 13, 1985, and a former member of Maxwell Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Maxine Wright, Stephenville; a son, Don, Tyler, Texas; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Bill Bowden, Derrel Johnson, S.T. Cheek, John Cobb, Edgar Wallace and Bill Braton.
DUNCAN -- Services for Katie Lee Morris, 90, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Carter-Smart Funeral Home, Duncan. Interment will be at Duncan Municipal Cemetery.
Mrs. Morris was born Nov. 17, 1909, in Coleman County, Texas. She died April 18, 2000.
She married Albert A. Morris in 1927 and moved to California. She taught in the Fresno school system until 1970.
Survivors include three sons, Douglas, Ardmore, Robert, Hamilton, Texas, and Herbert, Salem, Ore.; four sisters, Essie Williams, Edna King, Jewell Bennett and Lucille Holley; two brothers, Arthur and Leonard Elam; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
SULPHUR -- Private family services were held for Francis Louise Stauverman.
She was born Feb. 21, 1909, in Newman, Ill., to Lewis and Emma Wagner. She died April 18, 2000, in the Norman hospital at the age of 91.
She married Edwin Stauverman Oct. 21, 1951, at Durant, and had lived in Sulphur since 1971.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a daughter, Lynn Caraway, Sulphur; and two grandchildren.
Cowley-Krien Funeral Home directed services.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Cantrell.
Bearers will be Dusty Keith, Audra King, Jay Hoskins, Jeremy and Hailey Cantrell, Charlie and Jessie Bean.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 tonight at Craddock Funeral Home.
MADILL -- Services for Sara Ann Wright, 55, Kingston, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Oakview Baptist Church, Madill, with Boyce Moon officiating. Interment will be at Coldwater, Kan.
Mrs. Wright was born Nov. 20, 1944, at Ashland, Kan., to J. Clifford and Maxine E. McKinney Henderson. She died April 19, 2000, at her residence.
She married Harold Wright Sept. 2, 1989, at Sherman, Texas and was a member of Oakview Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Chad Weatherbee; and daughter, Charlann Forguson, all of Kingston; stepdaughter, Angie Newman, Durant; and mother Maxine Smith, Coldwater. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Todd Wright; and her father.
Watts Funeral Home will direct services.
Services for Elvis Lee Williams, 79, Edmond, are pending from Craddock Funeral Home. He died April 20, 2000, in Weatherford.
Survivors include three daughters, Carol Knight, Sacramento, Calif., Barbara Kahnemouii, Carrollton, Texas, and Sherry Niavarani, Edmond; a son, Elvis Jr., Yukon; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
RINGLING -- Services for Fay L. Fondren, 79, are pending from Reser Funeral Home. She died April 21, 2000, in the Ardmore hospital.
Services for former Ardmore resident Ruby Johnson Williamson were April 14, 2000, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Gene Autry.
Mrs. Williamson was born Sept. 12, 1914, at Berwyn, Indian Territory, to Nathaniel and Amanda Abram Johnson. She died April 9, 2000.
Reared in Berwyn, she married Hesikiah C. Williamson in 1935, and was employed by Memorial Hospital 10 years. She then volunteered for the Early Childhood Center's Foster Grandparent Program. She was an active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church more than 60 years before moving to Oklahoma City. Her husband preceded her in death in 1985; and a son.
Survivors include nine children, Cleta Williams, Oklahoma City, Betty Christian and Ruthie Willis, Ardmore, Jimmy Williamson, Marvin Williamson, Gwendolyn Taylor, Shirlee Johnson, all of Oklahoma city, Hesikiah Jr., Mesquite, Texas, and Virginia Williamson, also Ardmore; 33 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers were Rodney Willis, Eric and Carl Fields, Anthony, Richard and Jimmy Williamson Jr. Honorary bearers were Lonnie Whitlow, James Nash, Walter Sampson, Raymond Wilson, Gerald Ford and Lewis Banks.
Temple and Sons Funeral Directors directed services.
WILSON -- Graveside rites for Karmon Lee Ramsey, 57, Lone Grove, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hewitt Cemetery with the Rev. Monte Dean officiating.
Ramsey was born Sept. 20, 1942, in Ardmore, to Ernest L. and Carmon O. Ashley Ramsey. He died April 18, 2000, at his home.
Reared in Wilson and graduating from high school in 1961, he joined the Army and was a paratrooper in the Vietnam War before he was discharged after nine years of service. He was a lifetime resident of this area.
Survivors include two daughters, C. Maria Ramsey, San Antonio, Texas, Emma N. Ramsey, Lone Grove; two sons, Victor, San Antonio, and Steven, Lone Grove; his mother Odean Gary, Zapata, Texas; and brother, Randy, Garland, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, July 12, 1985; and brother, Dale, June 26, 1997.
Bearers will be Walter Robinson, Dustin Haught, Curtis and Victor Ramsey and Rob and John Smith.

SULPHUR -- Services for Clyda Ellen Blakeman, 72, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Malphrus officiating. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Blakeman was born May 25, 1927, at Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Clyde and Mabel L. Runyon Mize. She died April 19, 2000, in the Ardmore hospital.
She moved to Sulphur in 1936 and married John Blakeman Oct. 25, 1945, in Davis. She was employed at Wal-Mart.
Survivors include a daughter, Marsha Freeman, Sulphur; a son, David, Fredericksburg, Texas; two brothers, Richard and Don Mize, Sulphur; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two sister, Doris Elliot and Virginia Haskett.
Bearers will be Sam Roland, Danny Brock, Joe Brady, Brent Aaron, Bill Spicer and Gene Neal. Arnold Aaron is honorary bearer.
