Services for Leola Porter are pending from Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home. Mrs. Porter died May 9, 2000, in a local health care facility.
Survivors include two sons, William Ned and Carns Porter; and a daughter, Winnie McNeely, all of Ardmore; and one sister, Lena Farve, Marietta.
Services for Mary Lee Talley are pending with Kirk-Dawson-Dillard Funeral Home. Talley died May 10, 2000, in an Oklahoma City health care facility.
Memorial graveside rites for former Ardmore resident Margaret H. Johnson will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Rose Hill Cemetery.
She was the widow of Clifford H. Johnson.
Pennington Funeral Home, San Marcos, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.
TISHOMINGO -- Services for Clarence Burch, 93, Troy, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2000, at the United Methodist Church in Tishomingo with the Rev. Mary Ewing officiating. Interment will be at Tishomingo Cemetery under the direction of Corbin Funeral Home.
Mr. Burch was born Oct. 14, 1906, at Bromide, Indian Territory, to Ben and Ola Bates Burch. He died May 9, 2000, in Ravia.
A resident of Johnston County for 60 years, he graduated from high school in Olustee in 1925, and in 1932, received his degree in agricultural economics from Oklahoma A&M, now Oklahoma State University.
Clarence was assistant county agent in Muskogee, county agent in Hollis and Harmon for two years. He served as director of State Water Resources under the Kerr and Turner administrations, was chairman of the board of affairs under Gov. Gary, and director of Wild Life Conservation. He received the Distinguished Service Award from Murray State College, Tishomingo. A pioneer in registered cattle, he was the first president of Performance Registry International, and the first president of the Beef Improvement Federation. He was past president of the Oklahoma Angus Association and a member of United Methodist Church in Tishomingo.
Clarence and Mary Frances Allen were married Oct. 1, 1935, in Okeene. She preceded him in death July 31, 1991. He was also preceded by his parents; three brothers, Benny, Jess and Dave Burch; and a sister, Pearl Royal.
Survivors include a son and his wife, Tom and Judy Burch of the Burch Angus Ranch, near Troy; a daughter and her husband, Ann and Jim Wilson of Dallas; three brothers, Bill Burch of Houston, Buddy Burch of Hollis, and Tom Burch of Purcell; a sister, Ella Siford of Hollis; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Wanda Holden and Linda Mosley who cared for Clarence at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church of Tishomingo.
Services for Harold G. "Shifter" Davis, 71, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Maxwell Avenue Church of Christ with Roy Hannah and Dr. Virgil Trout officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. at Boyd Cemetery in Boyd, Texas.
Born May 8, 1929, at Chickasha, to William A. and Idora Adams Davis, he died May 11, 2000, in the Ardmore hospital.
A veteran of the Air Force, he married Doyle Hodge July 25, 1959, at Springtown, Texas, and lived in Fort Worth, Texas and Tulsa before moving to Ardmore in August 1969. He was a truck driver by trade but had also worked as a funeral home apprentice, as an employee of General Dynamics and as police chief of Azle, Texas. He was a member of Maxwell Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; sons and daughters, Marla Rodgers, Deale, Md., John A. and Larry G. Davis, both of Watauga, Texas, Glenda Anderson, Helena, Mont., Linda F. Gober, Paradise, Texas, and Brenda M. Kelley, Benbrook, Texas; stepdaughter, Anita Clark, Huntington Beach, Calif; stepson, Terry Holladay, Raleigh, N.C.; brothers and sisters, Lorena Johnson, Tulsa, Volena Yandell, Watauga, Ruth Autry, Lake Worth, Texas, JoAnn Simpson and Jerald Davis, Fort Worth; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.
TATUMS -- Graveside services for Martell Wiggins, Ardmore, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Tatums Cemetery with the Rev. Ted Clark, Rev. Sherman Tyler and Rev. Leroy Peters officiating.
Mrs. Wiggins was born March 25, 1910, in Tatums. She died May 10, 2000, in Ardmore.
Reared in Tatums and Ardmore, she moved to Chicago and attended beauty college, then spent several years in Kansas City, Mo., where she obtained her teaching certificate from the Unity Christian Center.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, among them, Deva Mitchell, Ardmore; and Burk McConnell, Tatums. She was preceded in death by four brothers; and five sisters.
Wooster Funeral Home will direct services.
WILSON -- Services for Dorothy Dee Hodges, 79, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Church of Christ with Jim Gillum officiating. Interment will be at Hewitt Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home, Waurika.
Mrs. Hodges was born Dec. 22, 1920, at Sulphur, to James and Laura Newby. She died May 11, 2000, in the Ardmore hospital.
She married D.O. Howard in June 1940. He died in September 1972. She then married Olen Hodges in June 1974. He died March 18, 1995. She was also preceded by three brothers, Bill, Albert and Spec Hampton; and sister, Jewel Vanorden.
She is survived by stepchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home, Wilson.
Services for Roy Junior Cornelison, 64, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2000, at Harvey-Douglas Chapel with the Rev. Donny Custar officiating. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery in Madill.
Mr. Cornelison was born Dec. 30, 1935, at McMillan, to Roy Cornelison Sr. and Edith Delois Justice Cornelison. He died May 11, 2000, in a local health care facility.
Mr. Cornelison retired from Groendyke Transport Company where he worked as a driver and dispatcher. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He and JoAnna Martin were married March 28, 1958, in Ardmore. He was preceded in death by his wife.
Survivors include a daughter, Terrie and her husband, David Colaw, of Overbrook, daughter, Kellie and husband, Craig Howell, of Denver; two brothers, Karl of Waldron, Ark., and Dale of Lone Grove; a sister, Betty Mobbs of Flower Mound, Texas; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Services for Leola Rose Porter will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Chapel. Interment will be at Enville Cemetery.
Mrs. Porter was born July 11, 1911, at Enville, to James and Mary McCurtain. She died May 9, 2000, in a local health care facility.
She had lived in Ardmore since 1941, moving here from Enville, and was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Mose Ned and Clarence Porter; and two daughters, Mary Boston and Mildred L. Ned.
Survivors include two sons, William Ned and Carns Porter, Ardmore; a daughter, Winnie McNeely, Ardmore; a sister, Lena Farve, Marietta; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as bearers.
Graveside services for Effie Emerson, 93, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oakwood Cemetery with the Roy Hannah officiating.
Mrs. Emerson was born Aug. 23, 1906, at Wheeler, to Charley and May Shepard. She died May 11, 2000, in a local health care facility.
She graduated from Wewoka High School and Cheatem's Business College in Shawnee and worked in several law and government offices, including the Triple A and OPA office. She married Wade Emerson in 1946 and they moved to Healdton in 1949, then to Ardmore in 1966. She was a member of Central Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1982; and a sister, Zella Hannah.
She is survived by a sister, Roberta Cohea, Ardmore.
Craddock Funeral Home will direct services.

LONE GROVE -- Services for Lola Mae McClendon, 78, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Stobtown Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Hylton Crain and Rev. David Gardner officiating. Interment will be at Newport Cemetery under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home, Wilson.
Mrs. McClendon was born July 21, 1921, to Preston O. and Mary E. Holmes Morgan. She died May 10, 2000, in the Ardmore hospital.
She moved to the Wilson area as a child, attending school at Post Oak and Zaneis, and married Ivron E. McClendon Dec. 19, 1937, at Wilson. They lived in California and Fort Worth, Texas, then moved to Wilson. In 1957, they moved to the Ardmore-Lone Grove area. She was employed by Memorial Hospital of Southern Oklahoma 15 years before she retired.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a daughter, Barbara Brown, Wilson; three sons, Bobby, Royce and Danny, all of Lone Grove; two sisters, Beulah Harvey, Denton, Texas, and Juanzale Madole, Lone Grove; a brother, J.C. Morgan, Simon; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Myrtle Summers; and two grandchildren.
Bearers will be grandsons, Daniel Hull, Danny and Ivron McClendon Jr., Mark, Mike and Steve Shores. Honorary bearers are David Hull, Allen McClendon, Cody, Chase, Waylon and Zane Shores.

Survivors include three sons, Ray Maurice Patton, Oklahoma City, Jan Murray and Glen R. Potts, both Ardmore; and six daughters, Freida J. Ray, Oklahoma City, Stevetta Abran, Houston, Velma McGee, Ardmore, Gloria Allen, Austin, Geri Ann Ranson, Los Angeles and Merwyn Dinwiddie, Oklahoma City,
