RATLIFF CITY -- Services for Marjorie Jane Dickerson, 63, Lake Humphreys, will be 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Floren officiating. Interment will follow at Foster Cemetery.
Born April 2, 1937, at Camargo to Andrew B. and Ruth Green Ledbetter, she died May 13, 2000, at Duncan. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Anita Shirley; and three brothers, Harold, Jimmy and Andrew B. Ledbetter.
She married Leonard Dickerson Oct. 20, 1980, at Las Vegas, Nev. She was a homemaker and a loving mother. Her family and friends will miss her dearly.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; one daughter, Shelia Robinson, Duncan; one stepdaughter, Beverly Dickerson, Oklahoma City; two stepsons, Charles Dickerson, and his wife, Kathy, Duncan, and Jeff Dickerson, Pooleville; two sisters, Amy Dennis and Delores Pryor, both Pryor; one grandson, Kurt Dickerson, and his wife, Phyliss; and one great-granddaughter, Morgan Nichole Dickerson.
Bearers are Jackie Dennis, Phillip Shirley, Brent and Kent Perkins, Jackie Neeld and John Griffin.
Services are under the direction of Milburn Funeral Home.
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Services for Mary Lee Talley, 75, former Love county resident, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Tabitha Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Trice Hill Cemetery.
Born July 30, 1924, at Hope, Ark., to Mary Evelyn Abner and Edgar Walker, she died May 10, 2000, at an Oklahoma City health care facility. She was preceded in death by a son, Morris, in 1996.
Mrs. Talley moved to Oklahoma City in 1977 and united with Tabitha Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Rosemary Payne, Langston, Deborah Morgan, Del City, Belinda Wilson, Houston, and Tanya Scarborough, Midwest City; eight sons, Kenneth Ray, Midwest City, William "Bill" Everett, Hawaii, Michael, Jacksonville, Fla., Neal Eugene, Pauls Valley, Barry Wayne, Oklahoma City, Curtis Blaine, Del City, Duane Russell, Edmond, and Tony Randall, Houston; one brother, Johnny Walker, Sacramento, Calif.; one sister, Earnestine Davis, Texarkana, Ark.; 26 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Bearers are grandsons. Honorary bearers are sons and sons-in-law.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. today at Kirk-Dawson-Dillard Funeral Home, Ardmore.
BURNEYVILLE -- Graveside rites for Willie B. Williams, 75, Gainesville, Texas, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dunbar Cemetery with the Rev. Lawrence Anderson and the Rev. Benjamin officiating.
Born Aug. 2, 1924, at Anderson County, Texas, to Doddery and Josephine Wilburn Williams, she died May 11, 2000, at a Gainesville hospital. She married Mack F. Williams at Gainesville. He preceded her in death June 13, 1982. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Della M. Wardlow.
Mrs. Williams moved to Gainesville three years ago from Marietta. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Mackie Williams Jr., Oklahoma City; two daughters, Gracie Coleman and Maxine Walters, both Gainesville; one sister, Lee Ann Fowler, Fresno, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Perry Halstied, Milton Dailey, Ray Douglas, David Hornbeak, Errol Harrison, Rodney Fuller, Laron Dixon and Charles Walker.
Services are under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home.
LEHIGH -- Services for Sylvia Sue Ross, 59, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lehigh Cemetery.
Born Feb. 13, 1941, at Lehigh to Robert Barnes and Thelma Hilburn Kiddie, she died May 10, 2000, at Davis. She was preceded in death by a sister, Bobbi Neil Eakins.
She grew up in the Lehigh area and moved to Sulphur 26 years ago. She married Bobby J. Ross June 15, 1972, at Courtsite, Ariz., Mrs. Ross was a housewife.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; four daughters, Anna Lou Roberts, Wyoming, Tonya Keeler and Bobbie Sue Ross, both Sulphur, and Nannette Schrader, Stillwater; two sons, Kenneth Keeler, and Alex Ross, both Sulphur; one brother, Bill Kiddie, Sulphur; two sisters, Norma Fay Batchelor, Stonewall, and Etta Lou Owens, Mill Creek; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
LAWTON -- Services for Bobby Joe Scott, 61, Lawton will be 9 a.m. Tuesday at Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. J.O. Howard, pastor of The Church of God officiating. Graveside rites will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery, Ardmore.
Born July 20, 1938, at Chickasha, he died May 12, 2000, at a Lawton hospital. He married Melvie Pelton, Jan. 31, 1960, at Marietta. She preceded him in death in 1992. He married Carolene "Corky" Sexton April 9, 1996, at Lawton.
Mr. Scott worked at Tip Top Laundry and then for Coca Cola, where he retired as a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa (Scott) and Jammie Matthews, Grapevine, Texas, and Brenda Jo and Mark A Dawson, Keller, Texas; three stepsons, Bruce of Springfield, Va., Earl, St. Paul, Minn., and Donnie, Lawton; one brother, Jack Floyd Scott, Dover, Del.; two sisters, Flossie Holt and Lucille Scott Schenker, both Lawton; five grandchildren, Cierra and Bailey, Grapevine, Texas, Tiffany Boyd, of the home, Ryan Dawson and Branson Dawson, both Keller; and a sixth grandchild on the way.

Memorial services for Jane Davis Wheeler, 89, will be at a later date.
Born Sept. 8, 1910, at Tishomingo to Eggel and Icy Horne Davis, she died May 13, 2000, at a local health care facility. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Croskell; and a brother, John Davis.
She attended Murray State College and was a graduate of Southeastern State College. She received her master's degree in library science at Denton State College For Women, Denton, Texas. A resident of Ardmore since 1987, she moved here from the Helena and Billings, Mont., schools systems where she had taught for 23 years. She also taught school for four years in the McAlester school system.
Survivors include one son, Warren K. Wheeler, Ardmore; one daughter, Joan Miller, Kitchem, Alaska; one sister, Mary Roan, Ponca City; and nine grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.
CHICAGO -- Services for Ardmore native Ernest L. Jones were May 5, 2000, at the Most Worshipful St. John Grand Lodge A.F.&A.M. in Chicago with the Rev. Solomon Jones officiating. Interment was at Lincoln Cemetery in Alsip, Ill.
Jones, who died April 29, 2000, was born Jan. 4, 1935, in Ardmore, Okla., to the union of the late Leroy and Ernestine Jones. Ernest was the oldest of six children born from this union. Two sisters, Erma and Betty, preceded him in death. Ernest accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Ernest graduated from Douglass High School before entering the U.S. Air Force. During his service times, his most memorable moment was staying in Paris. He was honorably discharged in 1956, as a skilled radio operator.
After leaving the military, Ernest moved to Chicago to live with his father Leroy Jones. In Chicago, Ernest graduated from Columbia Broadcasting School of Communication. In 1959, he met and married Ruth Wright, and they were blessed with a son, Erik.
Ernest was employed by the U.S. Postal Service. During his employment, as a union representative he was active in facilitating major changes for mail handlers. He was vice president of Local 306, and was a Washington delegate among other positions through his career. In 1997, Ernest retired from 42 years of dedicated service.
During Ernest's life, he found a calling to the fraternal order of Masonry. In 1988, he joined the most worshipful St. John Grand LOdge A.F.&A.M. He held the position of Illustrious 33rd Degree, Worshipful Master and Past Master of St. Andrews Lodge, Instructor of Mecca Temple No. 2, Instructor of Knight Templar, Grand Order of the Most Worshipful St. John Grand Lodge, and Supreme Auditor General of the United Supreme Counsel.
During his retirement years, he was president of the Postal Retirees Unlimited. Ernest was an avid jazz and blues lover. He also joined WSSD blues radio as an on-the-air personality name Kiddio. Ernest spent lots of time with his grandchildren, being with family and friends, learning computer skills and living life to the fullest.
Ending a long battle with his illness, the Lord called him home. He leaves to cherish his beautiful life, a loving son, Erik, and his mom, Ruth Jones; two grandchildren, Tristian and Evette; a sister, Mary Anderson; two brothers, Artis and Otis Jones; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
Bearers were the Most St. John Supreme Honor Guard. Honorary bearers were Erik L. Jones, Brian E. Little, Tony Rubin, Henry Carl Jones, Chris Duncan and Jackie Smith.

DAVIS -- Services for Minnie Francis Russell Penner, 77, Hennepin, are pending with Fox Funeral Home.
Born May 9, 1923, at Woodford to William Wesley and Minnie Ola Parker, she died May 12, 2000, at Sulphur.
Survivors include her husband, James Penner, of the home; one daughter, Everetta Call, Saudi Arabia; two sons, Dewey Parker, Elmore City, and Charles "Cotton" Russell, Davis; one sister, Emma Woods, Bethany; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services for Helen L. Pap, 89, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Chapel with the Rev. Bob Lee officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Pap was born Aug. 15, 1910, in Ardmore, to James M. and Rachel Zumwalt. She died May 13, 2000, in the local hospital.
Married to Joseph Pap Oct. 15, 1933, in Ardmore, she was a charter member of First Orthodox Baptist Church and member of Eastern Star, Mattie Bruce Chapter 440. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband in July 1990; and sisters, Janette Mastin and Hallye Mordecai.
Survivors include sons, David, Ardmore, and Joseph, Kansas City, Mo.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
Private memorial services for Lucille Hawkins, 77, will be conducted Saturday.
Mrs. Hawkins was born March 9, 1923, at Paoli, to John and Rosa L. Lemons Huff. She died May 12, 2000, in the Ardmore hospital.
She was a waitress formerly employed by Eden's, the Tower and Bill and Barbs restaurants. She was preceded in death by brothers, Gilbert, Robert and John Henry; a sister, Isabel Paddock; a granddaughter; and great-grandson.
Survivors include a daughter, Gail Lee, Ardmore; seven sons, Jerry, Lonnie and Ricky Norman, all of Paoli, Allen, Glendall and Johnny, Pauls Valley, and Richard, Wynnewood; four sisters, Thelma Medley, Lone Rock, Ore., Hazel Matthews, Modesto, Calif., Juanita Gallemore and Lorraine Tate, Stockton, Calif.; a brother, Herbert Huff, Denison, Texas; 29 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Penner was born May 9, 1923, at Woodford, to William W. and Minnie O. Parker. She died May 12, 2000, in Sulphur.
She and James Penner were married Jan. 29, 2000, at Davis. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Everett Russell; and four brothers, Walter, Alton, Austin and Jess Parker.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a daughter, Everetta Call, Saudi, Arabia; two sons, Dewey Parker, Elmore City, and Charles "Cotton" Russell, Davis; a sister, Emma Woods, Bethany; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services for Maria Garcia, 28, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Primera Inglesia Bautista Church with Rigoberto Varela and Bernardo Crispin officiating.
Mrs. Garcia was born July 29, 1971, in Tula Tamaulipas, Mexico. She died June 8, 2000 in the local hospital following an auto accident
She married Fidencio Garcia seven years ago in Mexico and had lived in Ardmore the past five years. She was a housekeeper and member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two daughters, Victoria Garcia, of the home, and Lupita Garcia, Mexico; two sons, Mario, Mexico, and Luis, of the home; her parents, David Cruz and Barnabe Saenz, Mexico; a sister, Elia Garcia, Ardmore; brother, Juan Cruz, Mexico; and grandparents, Lasaro Saens, Guadalupe Roblevo and Augustina Salinas, all of Mexico.
The body will lie at the church from 4 p.m. Tuesday until time for services on Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to Craddock Funeral Home in memory of Mrs. Garcia.
Graveside services for Joyce L. Miller will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2000, at Rose Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Paul McDowell, Asbury United Methodist Church, officiating.
Mrs. Miller was born Dec. 22, 1925, in Ardmore, to Arch Alexander and Dessie V. Bowling. She died June 11, 2000, in a local health care facility.
Joyce had lived in Ardmore most of her life and was employed by AT&T for 29 years before she retired in March of 1984. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church Eastern Star and Telephone Pioneers of America. Her stepfather was the late Curtis C. Bailey.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Curtis Wayne and Annette Miller of Ardmore; a grandson, Paul Edward Miller of Toledo, Ore.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Bobbie and Jim Watts of Ardmore, and Donna and Gary Maynard of Norman; three nephews, Michael Watts, Corey Watts and Travis Maynard; and three nieces, U.J., Mika and McKenzie.
Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home will direct services.
COMANCHE -- Funeral services for Robert McFatridge will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2000, at Morehead-Goetz Funeral Home chapel in Comanche with the Rev. Jimmy Ferguson officiating. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery.
Mr. McFatridge was born Nov. 7, 1899, east of Comanche, Okla., near Mud Creek, to James and Mary Wise McFatridge. He departed this life on Sunday, June 10, 2000, in Ryan, at the age of 100 years, seven months and three days.
He and his family moved west of Duncan when he was 7 where he grew up and attended Stagestand School. At age 17 he went to work in the oilfields near Burkburnett, Texas.
Robert married Artie Christene "Tenie" Coffey on Jan. 10, 1923, near the Stagestand School and they made their home southwest of Corum. She preceded him in death on Jan. 25, 1997, after 74 years of marriage.
He and his family moved to Ryan and then to Comanche in the late 1930s where he ran a mechanic shop. In 1937, he went to work for Fitzgerald's Chevrolet as an auto mechanic until his retirement in 1965. After retiring he owned a mechanic shop for another 10 years. McFatridge was a member of First Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by a son, J.F. McFatridge; three brothers; and five sisters.
He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Clayton and Reva McFatridge, Topeka, Kan., Haskell and Edna McFatridge of Meridian, and Bill and Sharon McFatridge of Ardmore; a daughter and son-in-law, Hazel and Dan Cupit of Comanche; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
WEWOKA -- Services for Jessie Faye Watters Choate, Sasakwa, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2000, at Midway Baptist Church, south of Wewoka on state Highway 56, with the Rev. Richard Turner officiating. Interment will take place at Holdenville Cemetery in Holdenville, under the direction of Stout Funeral Home in Wewoka.
Mrs. Choate was born March 15, 1926, at Sasakwa, to Charlie M. and Lizzie Sharp Watters. She passed away June 9, 2000, at the age of 74, at the Kennestone Hospital at Marietta, Ga.
Jessie was raised up in the New Model area and also attended school there. Jessie married Raymond Choate in 1950. Raymond preceded her in death Nov. 27, 1991. She worked for many years as a cook for the New Model School, and later as a provider for O.N.H.L. of Wewoka. She was a member of Harvest Time Tabernacle Church of Holdenville. Jessie was also preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Lizzie Watters.
She is survived by her children, three daughters and sons-in-law, Diana and John Turner of Ada, Kathy and Jack Turner of Josephine, Texas, and Cherry and David Christian of Atlanta, Ga.; two sons, Danny and Mickey Choate of Sasakwa; two sisters, Pearlie Davis and Dorothy Dicketts both of Wewoka; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Bearers will be Milford Roberts, Timothy Dicketts, Jimmy Freeman, T.C. Davis, James Orsburn and Kevin Orsburn. Honorary bearers will be Mark Turner, Luke Turner, Micah Turner, William Turner, Dennis Turner, Joshua Turner, Karl Turner, Danny Choate and Matthew Christian.
Services for Bobby Joe Gillispie, 63, Healdton will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lone Grove First Baptist Church with the Rev. Morgan Ashworth officiating. Interment will follow at Newport Cemetery.
Born Nov. 30. 1936 at Seymour, Texas to Willie F. and Opal Mayo Caldwell Gillispie, he died June 9, 2000 at a local hospital. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Dale Gillispie.
Gillispie worked for Safeway Grocery Store, retiring in 1988. He worked at Wal-Mart since 1992. He was a veteran, having served with the 101st Airborne Division.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Rusty and Barbara Gillispie, Lone Grove; three daughters, Debra Sue Eaves, Chickasha, and Alice and Billie Jo Gillispie, both Denver; stepmother, Ezella Gillispie, Lone Grove; three sisters, Loreen Watts, Wichita Falls, Texas, Wanda Doninges, Tyler, Texas, and Linda Gillispie, Lone Grove; one brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Cathy Gillispie, Lone Grove; seven grandchildren, Deona and J.R. Morris, Christopher and Reba Gillispie, Maelina Sloan, Andrew Moss and Alisha Carleon; and three great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Tom Wilson, LeRoy Pierce, Danny and Tommy Marson, Chad Gillispie and Bo Gravitt.
Services are under the direction of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.
MARIETTA -- Graveside services for Rose Tyler Sallee Payne, 93, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lakeview Cemetery with the Rev. Tony Caro officiating.
Mrs. Payne was born Feb. 11, 1907, at Watonga, Indian Territory, to William D. and Mary A. Tyler Sallee. She died June 11, 2000, in the local hospital.
Married to Edgar A. Payne July 17, 1926, at Watonga, she was a homemaker who moved back to Marietta in 1990 from Gainesville, Texas. She was a member of Mahota Memorial Presbyterian Church and former member of Rebekah Lodge. She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 14, 1995; a son, Edgar R., in 1987; daughter, Muriel A., Payne, in 1936; two brothers; and two sisters.
