Charles 'Hank' Hartin
MADILL -- Services for Charles "Hank" Hartin, 55, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Watts Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Hutchison officiating. Interment will follow at Woodberry Forest Cemetery.
Born May 18, 1945, at Madill to Top and Lois Hartin, he died March 30, 2001, at Little City.
He married Connie Mahaney May 30, 1964, at Little City.
Hartin lived in eastern Marshall County his entire life. He was a lifetime cattleman and was busy with many activities and organizations. He was a past active member of the Madill Round-Up Club, Junior Livestock Association, Marshall and Love County Cattleman Association and Tri-City Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Little City Baptist Church. He taught the Toddler Sunday School Class and was the past Teen-age Youth Director and song leader.
Survivors include his wife, Connie, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Michelle Hartin, Madill; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Phillip Landgraf, Madill, and Carrie and Gregg Sweeten, Gene Autry; his parents, Top and Lois Hartin, Madill; brothers, Ronnie and Don Hartin, Madill; sister, Fran Morrell, Tishomingo; and grandsons, (old buddies) Josh Hartin, Judge Hartin, Jake Hartin, Payton Sweeten, Chance Sweeten and Ladd Landgraf; granddaughter, Nikki Beth Hartin; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Bearers are Denny McCoy, Bill Chapman, John Runyan, Dan Milton, Gene Jack. E.D. Maxwell. Don Lee and Lyle Moore. Honorary bearers are Don Maxwell, Don Addison, W.L. Moore, R.C. Bales, Mont Cates, Bill Buck, Ed Benton, W.Y. Spence and Doc Watkins.
Visitation is this afternoon at Watts Funeral Home.

Patty A. Lewis
GENE AUTRY -- Services for Patty Ann Lewis, 57, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Gene Autry First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Milton Murphy and the Ron Elmore officiating. Interment will be at Gene Autry Cemetery.
Born Oct. 20, 1943, in Ardmore, to P.P. and Clemmie R. Crow Crossland, she died March 29, 2001, in the local hospital.
A lifetime resident of this area, she worked in manufacturing at Beetle Plastics and was a member of Gene Autry First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Jim, Mitchell and Randy, Gene Autry; two sisters, Sue Powers, Borger, Texas, and Jean Cannon, Ratliff City; two brothers, Otto Crossland, Oklahoma City, and Howard Crossland, Hobbs, N.M.; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Craddock Funeral Home.

Joyce A. Blackford
RINGLING -- Graveside services for Joyce Ann Blackford, 51, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ringling Memorial Cemetery with Jimmy Morris officiating.
Ms. Blackford was born Feb. 9, 1950, at Ringling, to George W. and Melvina Doss Blackford. She died March 28, 2001, in a local health care facility. She was preceded in death by a sister, Elouise Allen.
She is survived by her brother-in-law, Floyd D. Allen.
Spivey's Reser Funeral Home will direct services.

Clara H. Allen Austin
RINGLING -- Services for Clara Helen Allen Austin, 88, will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2001, at the Ringling Church of Christ with the Rev. Roy Hannah and the Rev. James Wigginton officiating. Interment will be at Ringling Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Spivey's Reser Funeral Home.
Mrs. Austin was born Sept. 2, 1912, near Chico, Texas, to George and Minnie Pitts Allen. She died March 28, 2001, in the Madill hospital.
She attended elementary school at Union Hill and high school at Ringling. She was a longtime member of the Ringling Church of Christ. She was a homemaker, mother, and worked on the farm or any place she could help. She and Melvin Park Austin were married Oct. 17, 1930, in Cornish. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 29, 1999; and three brothers, Clarence, L.D. and George Allen Jr.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Bob and Pat Austin, Madill; Bill and Wanda Austin, Fort Worth, Texas; four grandchildren, Dewayne Austin, San Francisco, Calif., Melva Austin, Madill, Gayla Hart and Cynthia Moore, Fort Worth; four great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Colin Hart, Trent and Sydne Moore, all of Fort Worth; two brothers, Cartez Allen, Ringling, and Don Allen, Oklahoma City; three sisters, Estell Davis, Tuttle, Ozella Davis and Virginia Russell, Oklahoma City; many nieces and nephews.
Bearers will be nephews, Berlen Allen, Doie Allen, Donald Gene Allen, Michael Allen, Virgil Dee Davis and Willard Davis.

Vivian Bruce Carter
LONE GROVE -- Memorial services for Vivian Elaine Bruce Carter, 82, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Lone Grove with the Rev. Tom Riley officiating.
Mrs. Carter was born Dec. 30, 1918, in Ira, Mo., to Andrew M. and Icy P. Newton Bruce. She died March 25, 2001, in Ardmore.
She was reared in Coweta and attended Oklahoma A&M, receiving her degree in commerce. She was a certified interpreter for the deaf while living in Wisconsin and after returning to Ardmore in 1984 at the vo-tech center. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Southern Oklahoma Quilters Guild. She and James Henry Carter were married Jan. 31, 1942, in Stillwater. He died Aug. 12, 1997.
Survivors include three daughters, Janet L. Carter, Kalamazoo, Mich., Sally A. Carter, Gallup, N.M., and Cindy J. Maloney, El Segundo, Calif.; a son, James II, Boulder, Colo.; a sister, Betty Lee, Kansas City, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First Untied Methodist Church, P.O. Box 314, Lone Grove, Okla. 73443.
Alexander Funeral Home, Wilson, will direct services.

Blake Lee Wiles
SULPHUR -- Services for Blake Lee Wiles, infant son of Jason and Shauna Wiles of Dougherty, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Shield of Faith with the Rev. Butch Fires officiating. Interment will be at Dougherty Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home, Davis.
Blake was born Feb. 12, 2001, in Ada. He died March 24, 2001, in Dougherty.
In addition to his parents, survivors include a sister, Megan Wiles, of the home; grandparents, Richard and La Donna Smith, Davis, and David and Shirley Wiles, Dougherty; great-grandparents, Bob and Paula Bruce, Davis, Herman and Robbie Stidham, Sulphur, Wanda Wiles and Buddie and Minnie Todd, Dougherty.

Lucille Sears
Services for Lucille Sears, 78, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Craddock Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Cheek Cemetery.
Born Oct. 3, 1922, at Ringling to James and Kinnie B. Bousman Stewart, she died March 24, 2001, at a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Nolan Sears on Sept. 15, 1999. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Ed and Jimmy Stewart, and one sister, Beatrice Cook.
Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn Cox, Ardmore, Donna Sigman, Hot Springs, Ark., and Sharon Collard, Plano, Texas; one sister, Mollie McCarty, Mineola, Texas; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Mike Sigman, Jim Collard, Ty Collard and Kip Cox.

Mae Feaster
SULPHUR -- Services for Mae Feaster, 81, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
Mrs. Feaster was born March 16, 1920, in Sulphur, to Emra F. and Lucy E. Castleberry Eldred. She died here March 21, 2001.
She was raised in the Sulphur area and attended school at Dolberg. She and James M. Feaster were married April 6, 1935, in Ada. He preceded her in death on June 5, 1996.
Survivors include three daughters, Helen Miller, Sulphur, Mickie Konorosky, Newhall, Calif., and Purna L. Anderson, Sun City, Ariz.; a son, Butch, Pauls Valley; two brothers, J.D. Eldred, Roff, and Buddy Eldred, Blackwell, Texas; four sisters, Martha Courtney, Sulphur, Lucille Griffin, McCloud, Bethel Lessly, Norman, and Ruby Akins, Friatvale, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded by two brothers; and three sisters.

Helen F. Bruton
LEAVENWORTH, Kan. -- Graveside services for Helen Frances Bruton, 84, Ardmore, formerly of Kansas City, Mo., will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kan.
Born Nov. 7, 1916, at Cleburne, Texas, to George V. and Kate Burnitt Phillips, Mrs. Bruton died March 15, 2001, at her Ardmore residence.
She retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Kansas City, Mo., in 1985 and was the widow of Walter Bruton, who died Dec. 25, 1985.
Survivors include nephews, Ed Luke, Tulsa, and Rob Luke, Oklahoma City; and two nieces, Kathy Griffin, Oklahoma City, and Virginia Rodriguez, Raytown, Mo. She was also preceded by two brothers; and three sisters.
Griffin Funeral Home will direct services.

Sarah Nicole McReynolds
Graveside services for Sarah Nicole McReynolds, infant daughter of Don and Carrie Hammett McReynolds, will be at 3 p.m. today at Newport Cemetery with the Rev. Steven Biggerstaff officiating.
Sarah was born March 16, 2001, in Oklahoma City where she died March 17, 2001.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by sisters, Gloria Tyler and Shannon Redhorse McReynolds, of the home in Lone Grove; and three brothers, Donald Wayne McReynolds, Kansas, Ronald Howard McReynolds and Andrew McReynolds, of the home; grandparents, Leon and Janice Hammett, Lone Grove, Loreta McReynolds, Stanton, Texas; great-grandparents, Barrum and Georgia Hammett, Lone Grove, and Mamie Brecheen, Healdton.
Craddock Funeral Home will direct services.

Roy McDonald
Services for Roy McDonald will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Onlia Violet Chapel at Ragsdale-Grant and Sons Mortuary. The Rev. Roy Johnson will officiate with interment in Clearview Cemetery.
McDonald was born March 8, 1924, and died March 19, 2001.
He is survived by two daughters, Katherine McDonald and Sharon McDonald, Ardmore; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Carl Holliman Jr.
DALLAS -- Graveside rites for Wilson native Carl Holliman Jr., 63, were Feb. 12, 2001, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.
Holliman was born Sept. 5, 1937, at Wilson to Carl and Ethel Holliman. He died Feb. 2, 2001, in Fort Worth, Texas.
A graduate of Wilson High School, he was a Navy veteran and retired vice president of Everman Corp.
Survivors include a son, James, Richland Hills, Texas; daughters, Debra DeHaven, Arlington, Texas, Lisa Bernal, Burleson, Texas, and Sherri Brown, Lewisville, Texas; a sister, Jean Linsicombe, Huntsville, Texas; a brother Norman, Ardmore; four grandchildren, Jonathan DeHaven, Steven Brown, Ryan and Shayla Bernal; and longtime companion Bobbie Osborn.
Guardian Funeral Home directed services.

Gary D. Peters
TISHOMINGO -- Services for Gary D. Peters, 58, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Clark Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mary Ewing officiating. Interment will be at Tishomingo Cemetery.
Peters was born May 26, 1942, in Wichita, Kan. He died March 21, 2001, at his residence.
He graduated from Tishomingo High School in 1960, attended Murray State College and received his forestry degree from Oklahoma State University. He worked for Weyerhaeuser in Hot Springs, Ark., 19 years and became district forester in Antlers with the Oklahoma State Department of Agriculture in 1988. He was a member of the Society of American Foresters.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen Robbins of Hot Springs, and Inger Peters of Stillwater; his mother, Opal Studdard of Tishomingo; father, Kenneth Peters of Hermosa Beach, Calif., a sister, Rita Engelhardt of Alhambra, Calif. and the mother of his children, Susy Peters, of Hot Springs.

Virginia 'Gin' Fox
PANAMA -- Services for Virginia "Gin" Fox, 72, Shady Point, were Thursday, March 15, 2001, at First Assembly of God Church in Panama with the Rev. Willis Watts and the Rev. Jimmy D. Cook officiating. Interment was at the Watts family Cemetery, Shady Point.
Mrs. Fox was born Feb. 5, 1929, at Walls. She died March 11, 2001, in a Tahlequah hospital.
She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She and Myrle Fox were married May 5, 1948, in Van Buren, Ark.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Myrle "Sonny," of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Wilma and Butch Morgan of Fort Gibson, Medenna and Micheal Walton of Ardmore, and Redenna and Randy Farrar of Shady Point; four sisters, Ina Fern Doyle of Sand Springs, Dollie Underwood of Spiro, Angella Faye Bryant of Dallas, and Mary Ann Mangrum of Tulsa; two brothers, Arnol V. Watts of Cameron, and Jesse Ray Watts of Fort Smith, Ark.; five grandchildren, Krystal and Randy Fox of Checotah, Deallen Walton of Ardmore, Miranda Barcheers and Brett and Ryan Farrar of Shady Point; two great-grandchildren, Randy Wayne Cox and Rayne Cox of Checotah; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones, and a host of beloved friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Viola Lovell Watts; a brother, R.V. Watts; two sisters, Katherine Watts Moore and Una Maye Watts; and a grandson, Peyton Levi Farrar.
Bearers were nephews, Steve Underwood, Richard Bryant, Brad Bryant, Roger Watts, Bill Doyle and Jason Watts. Honorary bearers were Buddy Moore, David Moore, Jim Doyle and Ricky Watts.
Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau, directed services.

Mildred Utsler George
POCASSETT -- Graveside services for Mildred Utsler George, 89, Ardmore, were at 11 a.m. today at Pocassett Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Utsler officiating.
She was born Oct. 16, 1911, in Chickasaw, to Ira and Lela Clark Utsler, and died March 19, 2001, in an Ardmore health care facility.
She was a retired secretary for Johnson Motor Company and a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene "Son" Utsler.
Survivors include two sisters, Helen Robertson, Ardmore, and Doris Denney, Amber; and brother, Dale Utsler, Pocassett.
Craddock Funeral Home will direct services.

Stella Woolery
Memorial services for Stella Woolery, 90, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Full Gospel Lighthouse with the Rev. Charles Ryan officiating.
Mrs. Woolery was born July 24, 1910, in Gene Autry, Okla., to Alvin and Annie Barton Canterbury. She died March 19, 2001, at Lakeland Manor.
She was the widow of Dee Woolery, who died May 15, 1977, and had lived all her life in the Ardmore area. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Shirley Woolery and Rita Borden; two brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Richard Davis of Ardmore; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice, 1514 Meadow Lane, Ardmore, OK 73401.
Griffin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
