RINGLING -- Memorial services for Elton Eubanks, 91, will be 3 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. J.W. Ray officiating.
Born March 15, 1907, near Randlett, Indian Territory, to J.P. and Eva Downs Eubanks, he died Jan. 17, 1999, at a local health care facility.
He graduated from Devon High School and the University of Oklahoma. While in college, he lettered in football his first year and was captain of the wrestling team his last three years. He maintained strong emotional and financial interests with the university all of his life
During the early years of World War II, Eubanks worked as a civilian in the shipyards at Los Angeles, He returned to Ringling and was drafted by the United States Army. He went through basic training at Fort Belvedere, Va., and was assigned to the Manhattan Project at Los Alamos, N.M. Following the war, he returned to Ringling to farm and ranch.
He married Elizabeth Garner Marbutt on June 9, 1992, at Waurika. Eubanks was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Ringling school board, and had been president of the Ringling Rotary Club.
Survivors include his wife, of the hone; one son and daughter-in-law, James Patrick and Connie Eubanks, Ringling; five grandchildren and their spouses, Russell and Mary Eubanks, Allen, Texas, Charles Elton "Bo" and Cindy Eubanks, Norman, Patrick Earl and Rhonda Eubanks, Ringling, Audene Eubanks, Norman, and Kimberly Dennis, Edna, Texas; one great-granddaughter, Harley Eubanks, Ringling; one sister, Thelma Scott, Ringling; and one brother, Dewey Eubanks, Norman.
Services are under the direction of Reser Funeral Home.
MADILL -- Services for Lucille Sybel Owens, 72, were Saturday at Watts Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Gene Wolfenbarger officiating. Interment followed at Woodberry-Forest Cemetery.
Born May 23, 1926, at Lebanon to Cordell H. and Nettie Southerland Green, she died Jan. 21, 1999, at a Fort Worth, Texas, hospital following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Owens was reared in Marshall County. She married Willis H. Owens on Aug. 28, 1941, at Fobb. She and her husband moved from Madill to Azle, Texas, in 1988. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Danny, Granbury, Texas, and Roger, Azle; one sister, Lila Stewart, Fort Worth; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Bearers were Dalton Owens, Carl Ray Owens, Gene Sanders, Chuck Lewis, Wayne Davis and Bruce Davis.
Graveside rites for Ellen Hudgins, 99, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. J.B. Lovelace officiating.
Born Jan. 8, 1900, in Texas to C.W. and Elizabeth Edwards Stinnett, she died Jan. 21, 1999, at a local health care facility. She married W.A. Hudgins on March 8, 1919, in Ardmore. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, Calvin, 1994, and a sister, Vera Holder, in 1998.
Mrs. Hudgins had worked as a cook at several different local restaurants. She was a member of the Cheek Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Naomi Leinberger, Prescott, Ariz., Velma Montana, Mesa, Ariz., and Marg Salmon, Ardmore; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.
Services for Victor "Vick" Coleman, 79, will be 11 am. Monday at Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Monty Baggett and the Rev. Terry Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born Jan. 14, 1920, at Ardmore to Silas and Vivenia Coleman, he died Jan. 23, 1999, at his Ardmore residence. He was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
He married Isabel Jones on May 3, 1943, at Marietta. Coleman had lived in Ardmore all of his life and was the retired owner and operator of the Vick Coleman Paint and Body Shop.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; one son, Bill Coleman and his wife, Betty, Ardmore; two daughters, Judy Reid and her husband, Larry, and Barbara St. Clair, all Ardmore; four grandsons, Chris Anthony and his wife, Holli, Brett Coleman, Chad Anthony, and Jeff St. Clair and his wife, Amy; two great-grandsons; two stepgrandsons; two stepgranddaughters; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
Bearers are John Yarbrough, Buzz Matheny, Chris Wheeler, Jim Posey, Jerrell D. Allen and Clarence "Red" Milburn. Honorary bearers are John Houchin, Bill Campbell, Thornton Kell, Jack McGahey, Ray Phillitte, Bob Hurte, and his golfing buddies at Lakeview Golf Course.

MARIETTA -- Services for Wilton W. "Slick" Davenport, 82, lifelong Love County resident, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Marietta with Chaplain Marty Ross officiating. Interment will be at Illinois Bend Cemetery in the community of Illinois Bend, Texas.
Mr. Davenport died Jan. 19, 1999, in Marietta. He was born to Henry Clay and Mary Katherine Allen Davenport at Courtney on May 20, 1916.
Slick grew up in Courtney where he attended school and was active in sports before graduating from Courtney High School. He had several occupations, including working in the oil fields and a car dealership. He retired from the Oklahoma State High Highway Department. He was preceded in death by a son, Kneilan "Kneil" Davenport; a sister, Annis Bullard; and three brothers, Buddy, S.F. "Jack," and H.C. "Jelly" Davenport.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Bill Winn of Atlanta, Ga.; and three grandchildren, Jason and Patrick Winn and Allison Hemingway.
Bearers will be Jason Winn, Patrick Winn, Lynn Davis, Justin Davenport, John Kelly Davenport and Darin Davenport.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Kennedy Funeral Home, Marietta.
Alexander Funeral Home, Wilson, will direct services.

HEALDTON -- Graveside rites for Jack B. Glenn, 83, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Cemetery with the Rev. Jim May officiating.
Glenn died Jan. 21, 1999, in the local hospital. He was born April 19, 1915, at Bridgeport, Ill.
He lived in several towns in the state before moving to the Healdton area in 1927. He was a truck driver in the oil fields. He and Elise Anetha Owens were married March 13, 1933, in Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; five sons, Tommy, Kingston, Ray, Ardmore, Jimmy, Wilson, Jackie and Kenneth, Healdton; a daughter, Helen Ashley, Healdton; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Johnny; two sisters, Woneda Slawson and Helen Rugierro; and two brothers, William and A.M. "Red" Glenn.
Bearers will be Jeremy Walck, Brian Scribner, Gus Ashley, Brad Glenn, Brian Allen and Mark Idleman. Honorary bearers are David Cormany and Tom Morrison.
Reser Funeral Home will direct services.
MILO -- Services for Roberta C. Stevenson, 97, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Jehovah Baptist Church, Milo, with the Revs. Elmer Toles Jr. and grandson Ricky McGee officiating. Interment will be at Jehovah Cemetery under the direction of Kirk-Dawson-Dillard Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stevenson died Jan. 20, 1999, in the local hospital. She was born Jan. 5, 1902, at Newport, to Ben and Lizzie Pickens.
She was a lifetime resident of Milo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Stevenson in 1976; two children, Willie Louis and Lylese; a sister, Rena Wright; and brothers, Sim, Simuel, Clifford and John W. Pickens.
Survivors include four daughters, Lizzie Anderson, Milo, Rena M. Murphy, Blythesville, Ark., Essie Lawson and Esterine Scott, Ardmore; 45 grandchildren; 149 great-grandchildren; and 172 great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be grandchildren, Zeno Scott Jr., Floyd and James Anderson, Edgar "Billy" Godwin, Lynus Scott, Rankin and June Banks, Steffon and Sharon Lewis, May F. Jackson, Jessica Fagan, Merlene Lawson, Videll Gay and Sheila Johnson.
Services with full military honors for Clarence Bryant Jr. will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mary Niblack Baptist Church with the Rev. Timothy Ball officiating. Interment will be at Crinerville Cemetery under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.
Bryant died Jan. 19, 1999. He was born Feb. 15, 1931, at Brock, to Clarence W. and Velma Smith Bryant.
During his 20-year career with the Navy he received medals for China Service, Navy Occupation and Service, Korean Service, National Defense, United Nations Service, Vietnam Service and the Vietnam Campaign. He was a member of Mary Niblack Baptist Church, VFW, Fleet Reserve Organization and American Legion.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan Bryant, Mesquite, Texas, and Heather Bryant, Outlook, Wash.; two sons, Jerry W., Mesquite, and David E., Seattle, Wash.; three sisters, Marie Cremer, Hartman, Ark., Wanda Neasbitt, Ardmore, and Ruth Garretson, Oklahoma City; a brother, Dub, Ardmore; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice, 1514 Meadow Lane, Ardmore, OK 73401; or Mary Niblack Church, HCR 70, Box 148, Ardmore, OK 73401.
DAVIS -- Services for Mildred Juanita Tillison will be Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, at 11 a.m. at Fox Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Glen Beal and Rev. Johnny Beckmon officiating. Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.
Mrs. Tillison died Jan. 19, 1999, in a health care facility in Ardmore. She was born Feb. 7, 1920, in the community of Albany, Okla., near Durant, to Joe and Beulah Dickson Beal.
A resident of the Davis area most of her life, she married J.D. Tillison Sept. 3, 1938, in Ardmore, and was a charter member of the Assembly of God Church in Davis. Mrs. Tillison lived in Turner Falls Park for many years where she owned and operated a business. She was preceded in death by her husband May 21, 1996.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Joe Manley and Jerri Tillison, Albany, Mo.; a daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Haden Newman, Ardmore; a brother, Tom Beal, Gene Autry; two sisters, Sally Bromley, Ajo, Ariz., and Velda Cowart, Gulfport, Miss.; six grandchildren, Lyanne, Kathy, Karen, Jeff, Allen and Rhonda; several great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Randy Moore, Buck Wilson, John Huggins and Curtis Jones.
Arrangements were by Fox Funeral Home.
SULPHUR -- Services for Ola Mae Gentry, 98, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Clagg Funeral Home chapel with Johnny Elmore and Jerry Gilbert officiating. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Gentry died Jan. 20, 1999, in Sulphur. She was born Sept. 20, 1900, at Drake, to James R. and Josie Peden Campbell.
A lifetime resident of this area, she married Archie W. Gentry Nov. 17, 1920, at Sulphur, and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Aug. 14, 1963; a son, Norris; and daughter, Gerlene Denman.
Survivors include two daughters, Loetta Lemons and Marilyn Gilbert, Ardmore; a son, Allen, Everett, Wash.; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Gary Lemons, Eddie Denman, Bobby and Tommy Gentry, and Brent and Craig Gilbert.
PETERSBURG -- Graveside rites for Glen W. Miller, 83, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Petersburg Cemetery with Virgil Ridenour and Jimmy Taylor officiating.
Miller died Jan. 19, 1999, in the Healdton hospital after a brief illness. He was born Dec. 21, 1915, at Logansport, Ind.
He worked for RCA and as a cabinet maker in Monticello, Ind., then moved to Arizona and married Virgie Taylor Ballard Aug. 22, 1957, at Phoenix. They moved to Ringling in 1966. He was a commercial building construction worker, a member of Church of God Fellowship and United Brotherhood of Carpenters. His wife preceded him in death Sept. 6, 1996.
Survivors include three daughters, Ann Reedy, Mountain View, Ark., Lorene Zeck, Lake Cicott, Ind., and Helen Timms, Logansport, Ind.; two sons, Glenn, Goldsboro, N.C. and Bruce, Wilson; three stepsons, Ernie Ballard, Thackerville, Thomas and Tony Ballard, Ringling; a stepdaughter, Linda Hoggard, Fox; a brother, Gerald, Palm Springs, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren ; 13 stepgrandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be grandsons, Farrow Taylor, Terry and Sammy Hoggard Jr., Michael, Tony, Leonard, Micky, Kenny and Ernie Ballard Jr. Honorary bearers are great-grandsons, Justin Stephens, Cheyenne, Steven, Carston, Logan, Austin and Chris Ballard.
