STRATFORD -- Services for William Arvol Robinson, 87, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Lewis Perry officiating. Interment will follow at McGee Cemetery.
Born Feb. 10, 1910, at Coleman to Linnie and Register Robinson, he died April 18, 1997, at Ada. He married Ruby L. Johnson on March 22, 1930, at Mannsville. She preceded him in death Sept. 15, 1991.
Robinson was the former owner and operator of grocery stores in Stratford and Wanette, and was a rancher. He was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include two daughters Jacqueline C. Martin, Oklahoma City, and Anita J. Henry, Stratford; two brothers, Kenneth and S.R. Robinson, both Tishomingo; two sisters, Juanita Ellis, Ardmore, and Barzella Nelson, Austin; Texas; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Herbert Benge, J.D. Masters, Raymond Henry, Troy Don Henry, Kent Isbell and Mike Bollinger. Honorary bearers are Kenneth Robinson, S.R. Robinson and Roby Martin.
Services are under the direction of Pickard Funeral Home.
Graveside rites for Geraldine M. Walker, 72, will be 4 p.m. Monday at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Born Jan. 19, 1925, at Greer County to Horace and Lela Naler Nelson, she died April 19, 1997, at a local hospital. She married Russell Frank Walker on Dec. 8, 1947, at Gainesville, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 7, 1991. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Kenneth Nelson.
Mrs. Walker had been a resident of Ardmore since 1974, moving here from El Paso, Texas.
Survivors include one daughter, Sheila Brown, Ardmore; four brothers, Bill, Dick and Wilton Nelson, all Ardmore, and Grover Nelson, Austin, Texas; one sister, Ramona Volino, Ardmore; a granddaughter; and two stepgrandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.
Services for Dora Mae Harris, 88, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Harvey-Douglas Chapel with the Rev. Leroy Little and Mike McComber officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Harris died April 19, 1997, in the local hospital following an extended illness. She was born to Alva H. and Phoebe Mitchell Ford Feb. 23, 1909, at Geronimo.
She married James R. Harris May 4, 1962, in Euless, Texas, and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Ray, Salta, Kan.; two daughters, Nikta Hobson, San Diego, and Millie Story, Gainesville, Texas; a sister, Marie Baker, Houston; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Lee Stone, Ronnie and Mark Vance, Harrell Harris, M.R. Wood and Richard Ford.
HEALDTON -- Services for Genivee Jackson, 87, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Russell Cheatham officiating. Interment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery under the direction of Reser Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jackson died April 19, 1997, in the local health care facility. She was born July 19, 1909, in Waurika to Dave and Ella Stewart Taylor.
She married Harlin M. Jackson Feb. 5, 1927, at Cornish, and they lived near Dixie, Loco and the Comanche Y before moving to Healdton in 1943. Her husband preceded her in death on Oct. 26, 1993.
Survivors include three sons, Donald C., Rankin, Texas, Jerry, St. Louis, Mo., and Danny, Healdton; a daughter, Glenda Connick, Dubai, United Arab Emirates; a sister, Nora Sullivan, Oklahoma City; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Coley.
Bearers will be Robert Armstrong, Mike Puckett, Carl Horton, Billy Jeter, Rick Pender and Jason Jackson.
BRECKENRIDGE, Texas -- Services for Ardmore native John Lester Clifton, 74, were today at Morehart Mortuary.
Clifton died April 18, 1997, in the local hospital. He was born Sept. 22 1922, in Ardmore, and was reared in Gene Autry. He married Jesse Poland on Nov. 25, 1962, in Odessa, Texas, and moved from there to Stephens County, Texas, in 1987.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Lowell, Breckenridge; a daughter, Margaret Brown, Brownwood, Texas; a sister, Thelma Garrett, Fairborn, Ohio; his mother, Eunice Clifton, Wayland, Texas; and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
DAVIS -- Services for Peggy J. Smith will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fox Funeral Home chapel with Dr. David Eggenberg officiating. Interment will be at Dougherty Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died April 19, 1997, at her residence. She was born June 19, 1924, at Dougherty, to Hobson T. and Bertha Drew Stephens.
She married W.M. "Bunk" Smith on May 20, 1943, at Arroyo Grande, Calif., and was a nurse at the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Sulphur before she retired. She was a Presbyterian and member of the Professional Nurse's Association.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Paul, of the home, and Dale, Denison, Texas; a brother, David Stephens, Sulphur; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Monty and Jim Lucas, Danny, Thomas, Terry, Tony and Daniel Stephens.
TATUMS -- Services for Ollie McConnell will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Lawson officiating. Interment will follow at Oil Springs Cemetery under the direction of Ragsdale-Grant and Sons Mortuary.
McConnell died April 18, 1997, in the Healdton hospital. He had lived most of his life in Tatums.
Survivors include a half-brother.
Services for Bertha R. Holbrook, 70, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Harvey-Douglas Chapel with Doug Falknor officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Holbrook died April 21, 1997, in an Oklahoma City hospital following an extended illness. She was born Dec. 12, 1926, in Oklahoma City, to Joshua and Maggie E. Johnson Morgan.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She and Walter L. Holbrook were married July 25, 1980, in Ardmore.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Charles Everett, Savanna; two daughters, Glenda Hargrove and Tina Walls, Tulsa; five stepdaughters, Donna Phelps, Oleda Stidham, Marlena Dunn, Reatha Bass and Lee Ann Rutledge, Ardmore; three stepsons, Walter Holbrook Jr., Lone Grove, Larry and Keith Holbrook, Ardmore; four sisters, Ruby Mulline, Clute, Texas, Lovie Head, Pearland, Texas, Gracie Wheitener and Flossie Hartman, Burnet, Texas; a brother, Marvin Morgan, Oklahoma City; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Bearers will be Alton Phelps, Mark Bass, Von Dale Dudley, Rodney Rutledge, Walter Holbrook Jr. and Larry Holbrook.

MADILL -- Services for Brenda Gale Lemons, 43, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Baptist Church with John King officiating. Interment will be at Woodberry Forest Cemetery.
Mrs. Lemons died April 20, 1997, in the local hospital. She was born Dec. 16, 1953, at Ada.
A resident of Madill most of her life, she graduated from Madill High School in 1972 and was employed by Uniroyal Goodrich Tire Co. before she retired. She was a member and organist at Trinity Baptist Church. She and Eddie Lemons were married July 23, 1971, at Mannsville.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Terry G.; a daughter, Crystal A. McGehee; and her parents, William E. and Jackie L. Parrott, all of Madill; and brother, Eddy Parrott, Lone Grove.
Bearers will be Dick Morgan, Ken Carlson, Teddy Cox, Hubert Porter, Ronald Gibson, Charles Hale, Larry Hilscher and Robert Carroll. Honorary bearers are Virgil Harris, Norman Ward and Melvin Phillips.
Watts Funeral Home will direct services.
TROY -- Graveside rites for Theodore Leonard Burns were scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Troy Cemetery with the Rev. Joey Lansdale officiating.
Burns died April 20, 1997, in Tishomingo. He was born March 18, 1914, at Hugo, to William A. and Mary E. Burns.
An Air Corps veteran, he had lived in Johnston County 45 years and was a retired steel construction foreman. He and Clara Brookshire were married Oct. 11, 1951, at Denison, Texas. He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy; stepdaughter, Ethel Olds; a brother, O.W.; and sister, Delores Burns.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; a son, Leonard Miller, Mill Creek; a daughter, Deanna Mixon, Mobety, Texas; three brothers, T.J., Madill, C.E., Newcastle, and Thomas, Purcell; two sisters, Willie Mae Rowe, Mill Creek, and Ruth Leonard, Oklahoma City; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Honorary bearers were Kenneth Converse, Pete, Leonard, William, Johnny and Bill Miller.
Corbin Funeral Home directed services.
Funeral service for Louis E. Neasbitt, Sr., 64, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Donny Custer officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Neasbitt died Monday, April 21, 1997, in the local hospital after a lengthy illness. Son of the late Nute S. and Martha A. Ramsey Neasbitt, he was born March 31, 1933, at Kingston, Okla.
Neasbitt and Osie A. Young were married Dec. 3, 1953, at Ada, Okla.
In 1953 he entered the U.S. Army and during his 23 year military career, he served in both the Korean and Vietnam wars as well as in Germany. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal Fifth Award, the Army of Occupation Medal (Germany), the Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, two Overseas Bars, the Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, and the Joint Service Medal. A graduate of the Noncommissioned Officers Academy, he retired from the U.S. Army Jan. 1, 1977 with the rank of Sergeant First Class.
After returning to Ardmore in 1980, he was associated with Consolidated Electrical Distributors until retiring in 1995. He was a Baptist, a life member and Past Commander of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 30, and was former mayor of the Dickson community.
Survivors include his wife, Osie A. Neasbitt, I, of the home; four sons, Buddy Jene Neasbitt and Louis E. Neasbitt Jr., Lawton, DeWayne Neasbitt, Falconhead, and Oscar Allen Young, Ardmore; a very special grandson, Dylan Neasbitt, Ardmore; five daughters, Mary Ann Ridley, Fort Worth, Texas, Martha Campos, Oklahoma City, Hope Phariss, Ardmore, Sherry Green, Lone Grove, and Osie A. Neasbitt, II, Ardmore; two brothers, Frank Neasbitt, Tacoma, Wash., and Leon Neasbitt, Fairfax, Calif.; two sisters, Dovie Bowman, Ardmore, and Ruby Maher, Oklahoma City; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Neasbitt; brothers, Authur, Russell, William, Bob, Nute and Fred Neasbitt; a sister, Rosa Lee Tisdell; and grandson, Brian E. Neasbitt.
Serving as bearers will be Joe Tibbs, Jerry Bailey, Al Spence, Ron Hallum, James Vaughn and Bob Burns. Honorary bearer is Earl Pace.
Services will be directed by Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.
Services for Dovie Pearl King will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Norton and Charles Denney officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. King died April 22, 1997, in the local hospital. She was born May 25, 1933, in Ardmore, to Richard and Amie Royal Stewart.
A resident of the Ardmore area most of her life, she was a Baptist and former educational aide. She and Charles King were married June 23, 1951, in Ardmore.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Herman, Lone Grove, and Billy, Ardmore; three daughters, Debra Shans, Teresa Hayes and Tonya Brown, Lone Grove; brothers, James Stewart, Hinton, Joe Stewart, San Jose, Calif., Carson Stewart, Binger, Kenneth, Charles "Chuck," and Lonnie Stewart, Lone Grove; a sister, Joyce Houchin, Ardmore; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, John; and sister, Judy Stewart.
Bearers will be nephews. Honorary bearers will be Michael, Lori, Daniel and Elesa King, Chris Potter, Misty and Mandy Shans, Keisha Miller, Derick Robinson, Kerry Drake, Erick Hanson, Jeremy and Macie Brown.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
