Funeral services for Ruby A. Gauley, 85, will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home chapel conducted by Dr. Walt Spradling pastor of CrystalRock Cathedral. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Daughter of the late Butler Lawson and Annie Lee Lewis Hansard, she was born March 28, 1912, near Parks, Ark., and had lived in Ardmore since 1980 coming from Ringwood. She died Thursday, April 24, 1997, at a local health care facility. She was married to William A. "Bill" Gauley March 9, 1932, at Perry. He died Sept. 3, 1995.
Mrs. Gauley attended CrystalRock Cathedral. A Gold Star Mother, she had been active in Enid, Stillwater and Ardmore chapters, and had been recognized as Gold Star Mother of the Year at the Ardmore Veterans Center Veterans Day program. She was an active supporter of the POW and MIA (Prisoner of War and Missing In Action) organization.
Survivors include a daughter, Pat Murphy, Ardmore; two sons, W. Fred Gauley, Aurora, Colo., and Ike Gauley, Ringwood; two sisters, Beulah Sinclair, Stillwater, and Zula Long, Willis, Texas; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was a son, Captain James Paul Gauley, USAF, who was killed Jan. 10, 1967, in Laos during the Vietnam War.
Bearers are Kevin and Randy Murphy, Kelly Murphy Fryer, Paul and Jennifer Gauley, Gretchen Haltom and Darryl Pratt. Honorary bearers include Lori Murphy Bell, Kim Gauley Moffitt, Cindy, Haley and Shane Paul Gauley.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 this evening at the Harvey-Douglas Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
Graveside rites for Robert L. "Bob" Hagen, 71, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Donny Custer officiating.
Born March 13, 1926, at Ardmore to O.C. and Willie Edna McBride Hagen, he died April 24, 1997, at a local hospital following an extended illness.
A graduate of Ardmore High School, Hagen served in the U.S. Army during World Word II. He worked with his father as a carpenter. He married Suhjuan Ferguson on April 5, 1961, at Healdton. He was a member of the Texas-OU Fishing Bowl, an original member of the Dirty Dozen Fishing Club and a 50-year member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; three sisters, Mary Jane Ward, Chandler, Texas, Ruth Ann Darrow and Lucy Hagen, both Ardmore.
Honorary bearers will be Chad and Matt Landgraf, Bill Boone, Tony Teague and Jim Drury.
Services are under the direction of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.
TISHOMINGO -- Services for Ella Mae Heath, 82, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Howry officiating. Interment will follow at Connersville Cemetery.
Born July 30, 1914, at Benford, Texas, she died April 26, 1997, at a local health care facility. She was preceded in death by a son, Henry Heath Jr.; five brothers; and one sister.
She married Henry Heath on Aug. 22, 1932, at Conroe, Texas. Mrs. Heath was a nurse's aide, and had retired from Johnston County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Fist Baptist Church in Connersville.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, James, Shreveport, La., and George, Sherman, Texas; one daughter, Violet Mize, Collinsville, Texas; three sisters, Laura Ragsdale, Hartman, Ark., Nora Moore, Archer City, Texas, and Virginia Bennett, Cleveland, Texas.
DEL CITY -- Services for Kenneth K. Aubrey, 82, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City.
Born April 19, 1915, at Princeton, Mo., to David T. and Zella R. Aubrey, he died April 26, 1997, at the veterans center in Ardmore. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ret. Lt. Col. Lawrence E. Aubrey.
Before retiring Aubrey had more than 26 years of combined military and civilian federal service.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Aubrey, Ardmore; and two daughters, Sheila Kipp, Argyle, Texas, and Donella Anderson, Carrollton, Texas; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Local arrangements are by the Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home.
LONE GROVE -- Graveside rites for Betty Bell Langley, Huntsville, Ala., will be 2 p.m. Monday at Lone Grove Cemetery with Virgil Trout officiating.
Born Dec. 13, 1903, at Ardmore, Indian Territory, to James M. and Sara Jane Casey Flippo, she died April 24, 1997, at Huntsville. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William David Fairbanks and John Frank Langley; a brother, William N. Flippo; a sister, Mattie M. Flippo; and a son, Esten D. Fairbanks.
Mrs. Langley was a homemaker and a member of the Lincoln Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Vonda Dihm, Huntsville; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Curtis Ray Paschall, 72, were Monday, April 7, 1997, at the Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas, with military honors by American Legion Post 521.
Mr. Paschall died April 4, 1997, in his Pasadena, Texas, residence. Son of the late Claude and Ruth Caldwell Paschall, he was born May 24, 1924, at Milburn and grew up in the Overbrook community. He attended school in Overbrook and Greenville.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. He had been a welder for Phillips Petroleum and after retiring became a Service Officer for the American Legion in the Regional Veterans Administration Office at Houston. He was a member of the Parkwood Methodist Church and a life-member of both the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans.
He did much community service work for youth and youth rehabilitation programs. He was an active supporter of 4-H and FFA livestock programs and coached little league baseball. Under his leadership a record was set in a Veterans Administration blood donor drive. Curtis always gave credit for his accomplishments to those who helped him to "make things happen." After retirement he spent time in both Overbrook and Pasadena.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey Paschall, Pasadena; one son, Dale Paschall; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Randy Meadows, Houston; brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Inez Paschall, Goshen, Ark.; a sister-in-law, Ruby Paschall, Overbrook; and grandchildren, Jill and Justin Meadows and Lydia, Jeremy and Ethan Paschall, all of Houston.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Othell Paschell.
The family expresses their thanks to friends in Overbrook, Marietta and Ardmore for enriching Curtis' life with their friendship.

HEALDTON -- Services for Alyece Keck, 88, will be 11 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Keck and the Rev. Phillip Fox officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery.
Born Sept. 17, 1908, at Hobart to Otho and Cora Hutchens, she died April 26, 1997, at the Healdton hospital following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by a brother, Terrell Hutchens; four sisters, Vaudia Schehrer, Cleta Combie, Deion Gilliam and Jean Berryhill; and a grandson.
Mrs. Keck had lived all of her life in the Healdton-Wirt area, had attended Healdton High School. She married Tinker Keck on July 25, 1925, at Cornish. Mrs. Keck was a member of the Wirt Baptist Church, where she had been a Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Kenneth, Jenks, and LeRoy, Weslaco, Texas; three brothers Otho and Robert Hutchens, Tulsa, and Oscar Hutchens, Dallas; two sisters, Codetta, San Marcos, Texas, and Jo, California; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Harry Dill, Gene Shultz, Delbert Lambert, James King, Ken Allison and Roy Barnes.
Services are under the direction of Reser Funeral Home.
RYAN -- Services for Lera Southard, 83, will be 3 p.m. today at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clarence Mize officiating. Interment will follow at Ryan Cemetery.
Born Jan. 30, 1914, at Courtney to Bruce and Maud Anderson, she died April 24, 1997, at a Ryan health care facility after a sudden illness. She married Charlie Southard on Aug. 30, 1936, at Ryan. He preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 1978.
Mrs. Southard grew up in the Ryan area and graduated from Ryan High School. In 1930 she continued her education at Central State College at Edmond and received a provisional teachers certificate She taught school at the Irving Consolidated School west of Ryan. Mrs. Southard was a social worker for the Department of Human Services for 17 years, retiring in 1979. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Spragins, Payson, Ariz., and Susan Krittenbrink, Rogersville, Mo.; two sons, Thornton Southard, Fritch, Texas, and Charlie Southard, Ryan; one sister, Edith Brittick, Ryan; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Grantham-Worley Funeral Home.
CONROE, Texas -- Services for Ardmore native Dave T. Harris Sr., 58, were Tuesday in Conroe, Texas, under the direction of Metcalf Funeral Home.
Harris died April 26, 1997, in Conroe. He was born June 21, 1938, in Ardmore, to James V. and Dessie Harris.
He was employed by the Huntsman Corporation.
Survivors include his wife, Monyeen, of the home; two sons, David Jr. and Robert Rountree; two daughters, Robyn Bunce and Kristin Greer; a sister, Boots Bramhall, Ardmore; two brothers, Virgil, Sugarland, Texas, and Edward, Oklahoma City; and eight grandchildren.
SULPHUR -- Services for Lee H. Eldred, 79, will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Wayne Edgar and Eddie Malphrus officiating. Interment will be at Dolberg Cemetery, Dolberg.
Eldred died April 27, 1997, in Sulphur. He was born Dec. 19, 1917, at Roff, to Emra F. and Lucy E. Castleberry Eldred.
A resident of this area most of his life, he worked as a brick mason and pastored several Missionary Baptist churches including Dolberg and Stringtown. He was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. He and Laverne O. Lynch were married July 4, 1936, at Roff. She preceded him in death Dec. 27, 1980.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Payne, Sulphur; a son, Alan, Carthage, Tenn.; two brothers, J.D., Roff, and Buddy, Blackwell, Texas; five sisters, Ruby Akins, Fruitvale, Texas, Bethel Lessly, Norman, Lucille Griffin, McCloud, Martha Courtney and Mae Feaster, Sulphur; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother; three sisters; three sons, Jim Eldred and two infants; and a great-grandchild.
Bearers will be Derrel Payne, Cleon Nye, Gary Mobly, Darrel Weast, Tom Carr and J.R. Clark. Honorary bearers are Gordan Head, Dwight Howard, Bart Bradford, Robert Reeves, Ricky Garside and Archie Haynes.
SULPHUR -- Services for Billy Joe Wills, 60, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Clagg Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Rick Priddy officiating. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Wills died April 27, 1997, in Ada. He was born Sept. 22, 1936, at Stringtown, to Wiley M. and Winnie M. Moore Wills.
Reared in Stringtown, he had lived most of his life in this area and was employed by the Dolese Co. before he retired. He was a Baptist and veteran of the Korean conflict. He and Augustine Hughes were married Feb. 25, 1972, at Gainesville, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; four daughters, Teresa Vos, Fernadina Beach, Fla., Carolyn Cole, Sulphur, Jennie Wills, Davis, and Melinda Casey, Hennepin; four sons, Billy Wills Jr., Ronald and Donald Green, Sulphur, and Gary Green, Rockwood, Tenn.; a brother, Don, Atoka; five sisters, Evelyn Burleson, Atoka, Naomi York, Mineola, Texas, Betty Seebeck, Choctaw, Shirley Stephen and Wanda Bowen, Stringtown; 20 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wiley.
Bearers will be Felix Hoffman, Jay Mensch, Rick Cole, Billy Wills Jr., Charlie Summers and Ronald Green. Honorary bearers are Jackie Casey, Charlie Kirby, Elmer Parish and Stanley Vernon.
THACKERVILLE -- Services for Margaret V. "Maggie" Jones, 95, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Thackerville Church of Christ with Murray McMurray officiating. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta.
Mrs. Jones died April 28, 1997, at a local health care facility. She was born Nov. 17, 1901, at Deport, Texas, to Oscar and Klugh Rhoades McGill.
A lifelong resident of Thackerville, she was a homemaker and longtime member of the Church of Christ. She and G.H. Jones were married Oct. 19, 1919, in Love County. She was preceded in death by her husband March 11, 1978; and a son David, in 1940.
Survivors include seven sons, Jack, Hobbs, N.M., Earl, Amarillo, Texas, Val Gene, Ardmore, George and Bob, Thackerville, Ted and Bill, Gainesville, Texas; four daughters, Joyce McKay, Choctaw, Ruth Johnson, Grand Prairie, Texas, Sally Garcia, Fort Worth, Texas, and Dolly Bone, Thackerville; a brother, Paul McGill, Thackerville; a sister, Daisy Campbell, Modesto, Calif.; 40 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as bearers.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 this evening at Kennedy Funeral Home, Marietta.
WAURIKA -- Services for Beulah Fay Capehart, 75, were scheduled for 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church. Interment was at Ringling Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Worley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Capehart died April 27, 1997, in Waurika. She was born Oct. 13, 1921, at Sunset Texas.
Married to S.B. "Bert" Capehart Jan. 14, 1943, at Waurika, they lived at Grady and in Byers, Texas, before moving to Waurika in 1954. She was employed at Garrett Day Care Center and was a member of First Baptist Church. Her husband died Nov. 26, 1985.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Garrett, Waurika; two sisters, Eula Proctor, Waurika, and Christine Moore, Petrolia, Texas; three brothers, Oscar, V.A. and Edward Burris, Byers; a granddaughter; and great-grandchild.
