Graveside rites for Warren G. Jones, 76, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rose Hill Cemetery with the Rev. John Wackler officiating.
Jones died May 4, 1997, at his home. He was born March 4, 1921, at Muskogee.
He had lived in Ardmore most of his life and received the Purple Heart while serving with the Army during World War II. He operated a welding service and was owner of an underground construction company before he retired. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Dorothy Davis, in 1980.
Survivors include two sons, Warren Jr., Bellevue, Neb., and Gerald W., Grandbury, Texas; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home will direct services.
Graveside rites for Carolyn Young Harris will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Young Cemetery with the Rev. Roger Wood officiating.
Mrs. Harris died May 4, 1997, in the local hospital after a sudden illness. She was born May 8, 1932, in Ardmore to Jim and Connie Mansfield Young.
She had lived in Ardmore all her life and was a bookkeeper for Coffey Insurance Co. before she retired. She and Harold G. "Scooter" Harris were married Jan. 26, 1951.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Gary; a daughter, Jeanna Gaither; and two sisters, Mary Curtis and Evelyn Hurst, all of Ardmore; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Harold Ray, in 1988; a brother, Jamie Young; and sister, Connie Laseman.
Bearers will be Tom Smith, Billy Hurst, Toby Price, Billy and David Harris, Jim and Jess Young.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Craddock Funeral Home will direct services.
Services for Danny Joe Bural, 37, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Harvey-Douglas Chapel with the Rev. Morgan Ashworth officiating. Interment will be at Hewitt Cemetery, Wilson.
Bural died May 4, 1997, at his home in Lone Grove after a sudden illness. He was born Aug. 11, 1959, in Ardmore, to Frank and Nancy M. Jones Bural.
He had lived in Lone Grove and southern Oklahoma all his life and was a member of First Baptist Church. He and Lisa Roberts were married Aug. 6, 1983, at Lone Grove.
Survivors include his wife; and foster daughter, Crystal Roberts, of the home; his father and stepmother, Frank and Emma L. Bural, Ardmore; two brothers, Harold, Fort Worth, Texas, and Billy W., Alvarado, Texas; a sister, Shirley Acosta, Pasadena, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy M. Bural, July 9, 1976.
Bearers will be Darrell Williams, Gary Croswaite, David Hatley, Woody Potts, Joe Word, W.A. Taliaferro and Vernon Sublett.
SULPHUR -- Services for Lucinda Woods, 84, Davis, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cowley-Krien Funeral Home chapel with Frank Duncan officiating. Interment will be at Greenhill Cemetery, Davis.
Mrs. Woods died May 3, 1997, in the Ardmore hospital. She was born Aug. 20, 1912, west of Davis, to William Anderson and Maude Wilson.
She was a homemaker and lifelong resident of this area.
She is survived by a daughter, Addie Payne, Davis; a sister, Tommy Whitley, Fillmore, Calif.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Bearers will be Ken Anderson, Jeff Moss, Earl Payne, Nick Leonard, Tobe Womack and Wayne Webb.
Graveside rites for John Poe will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Young Cemetery, north of Dickson.
Poe died May 7, 1997, in the local hospital. He was born May 1, 1933, in Ardmore, to Vernon and Bessie Cowan Poe.
A 1951 graduate of Dickson High School, he served in the Army from 1951-53 and had lived in Ardmore most of his life. He was a plumbing contractor. A son, Casey, preceded him in death in 1979.
Survivors include a son, Kelly, Dallas; two daughters, April Williams, Oklahoma City, and Laura Moorman, Stillwater; two sisters, Jimmie Huey and Lou Poe, Ardmore; and four grandchildren.
Craddock Funeral Home will direct services.
He is survived by a brother, Maxie, Pryor.
MARIETTA -- Graveside rites for Jack Ellis will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta with the Rev. Vaughan CroweTipton officiating.
Ellis died May 7, 1997, in the Ardmore hospital. He was born June 28, 1919, at Marietta.
He was a retired rancher and member of Northwest Baptist Church. His wife is the former Bernice Stewart.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Jerry and Rudy, Ardmore; three brothers, Carl, Marietta, Dud and Glenn, Ardmore; a sister, Jonie Willingham, Ardmore; and a granddaughter.

HEALDTON -- Services for former Healdton resident Leo Jack Fanning, 76, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Reser Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Interment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery.
Fanning died May 6, 1997, in a Franklin, La., hospital after an extended illness. He was born Jan. 15, 1921, at Burkburnett, Texas, to Albert and Marguerite Womack Fanning.
He worked in the oil fields around Healdton before moving to Centerville, La., 30 years ago.
He is survived by a brother, Maxie, Pryor. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin and John; and a sister, Sadie Mae.
CONNERVILLE -- Graveside rites for Elvie E. Stewart will be at 3 p.m. today at the Connerville Cemetery with Richard Duty officiating.
Stewart died May 6, 1997, in Norman. He was born March 7, 1913, at Connerville, to Thomas F. and Mary E. Poindexter Stewart.
He was retired from the Army. He was preceded in death by a brother, Everett; and sister, Mae Duty.
He is survived by nieces and nephews, among them, Mary Jane Cunningham, Tishomingo; and Richard Duty, Ada.
Great nephews will serve as bearers.
Corbin Funeral Home will direct services.
Funeral services for Jean Bennett, 72, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 1997, in the Harvey-Douglas Lone Grove Chapel with the Revs. Leo Potts and Bill Holder officiating. Interment will be at Lone Grove Cemetery.
Daughter of the late Arthur and Lula Mae Self Bourns, she was born July 27, 1924, at Eagletown, Okla., and passed away May 7, 1997, in the local hospital following an extended illness.
A resident of the Lone Grove area most of her life, Mrs. Bennett was married to Clinton Bennett July 15, 1944, at Hobart, Okla. He preceded her in death Oct. 24, 1981. She worked in several nursing facilities in Ardmore and retired in 1985. She was a homemaker and member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Lone Grove.
She is survived by a son, Joe Bob Bennett; and her sister, Erma Richardson, both of Lone Grove; a niece, Terri Briscoe of Lone Grove; two nephews, Mike Richardson of Ardmore, and Kerry Richardson of Lone Grove; three great-nieces, Amber Briscoe, Allyson Richardson and Mallory Gaines; a great-nephew, Chad Briscoe; and great-great-nephew, Chase Briscoe, all of Lone Grove; and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby "Sonny" Bourns, Feb. 21, 1995.
Serving as bearers will be Donald Bailey Jr., Keith Raney, Terry Tanner, Terry Thompson, Robert Armstrong and Jerry Denham. Honorary bearers will be Bill and Melvin Grover, Enoch Watterson, Kent Petree, Larry and Mike Briscoe.
Services for Helen B. Berryman, 63, were scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Kirk Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tyrone Turner officiating. Interment was at Clearview Cemetery.
Mrs. Berryman died May 7, 1997. She was born June 29, 1933, to Rube and Setella Webb Williams.
A graduate of Douglass High School, she was a lifetime resident of Ardmore and member of Corinth Baptist Church. She was a cook in the Ardmore Schools. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper; and a son, Tony.
She is survived by two stepsisters, Marie Smith, Oklahoma City, and Hattie White, Ardmore.
HEALDTON -- Funeral services for Jakob Lee Graham, age 5, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 1997, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Philip Fox officiating. Interment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery.
A most loved, precious little boy, Jakob died May 8, 1997. He was born Nov. 26, 1991, at Wichita Falls, Texas, to Heather Graham, and lived a short time in Hawaii before returning to the Healdton area.
He attended Mrs. Schultz's preschool and the First Baptist Church. He was looking forward to starting big school this fall. Jakob got to play his very first T-ball game on Tuesday, May 6. He was a very proud member of the Healdton Outlaws team. Last week he learned to ride his bike without the training wheels. He brought smiles and great joy to all who knew him.
Survivors include his mother, Heather, of the home; her fiance, John Shelton; a brother, Nickolas, due to be born this month; his grandparents, Joe and Ann Graham; uncles, Jeremy and Chris Graham; and an aunt, Brooke Graham, all of Healdton; his great-grandparents, Howard and Tina Rozzell, Oil City, and Vince and Stella Graham, Belen, N.M.; his great-great-grandmothers, Falbie Rozzell, Oil City, and Cora Taylor, Henryetta; numerous great-aunts, uncles and friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Bernice Taylor; and great-great-grandfathers, James Rozzell and Lowell Taylor.
Pall bearers will be Jeremy and Chris Graham and Ricky and Terry Rozzell.
Reser Funeral Home will direct services.
RINGLING -- Services for Curtis Cleveland King, 83, will be at noon Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ with Jimmy Morris officiating. Interment will be at Cornish Cemetery under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home.
King died May 8, 1997, in the Ardmore hospital. He was born Jan. 20, 1914, at Cornish, to James L. and Mamey A. Jones King.
A lifelong resident of this area, he was a carpenter and Army veteran of World War II. He and Martha Bell Williams were married May 31, 1958, in Cooke County, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, of the home in Wilson; a daughter, Carolyn Keeton, Wilson; a son, Tommy Dudley, Healdton; two brothers, Edgar, Wilson, and Vernie, Waterford, Calif.; a sister, Nettie Benton, Healdton; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Hershell and Leslie.
Bearers are Steve Keeton and Kenneth King.
TATUMS -- Services for Henry Douglas "H.D." Harris, 65, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pilgram Baptist Church with Ben E. Harris officiating. Interment will be at Oil Springs Cemetery under the direction of Brown/Christian Funeral Home, Chickasha.
Harris was born Sept. 2, 1933, at Tatums, to Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Harris Sr.
He attended school at Tatums and was married to the former Lela Richardson.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; three daughters, Emma Jean, Joyce and Donna; a stepson, Roger; five brothers, the Rev. Oilton Harris, Hollis, Ben Harris, Carrithers, Mo., Vernon Harris, Altus, and Isaac and Gray Harris, Oklahoma City; a sister, Savannah McGee, of the home; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Hubert and Jerry Jr.; a sister, Clentene Pettis; and a stepson, Robert Smith.
