TISHOMINGO -- Services for Robert Morrow will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Corbin Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Kenneth McCarthick officiating. Interment will be at Condon Grove Cemetery.
Morrow died May 7, 1997, in Tishomingo where he was born Dec. 29, 1909, to William R. and Hortense M. Boucher Morrow.
He had been a resident of Johnston County 83 years and was the game room manager at Murray State College. He and Mary Bell Marshall were married May 30, 1931, in Tishomingo.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, William R., and Thomas J., Tishomingo; two daughters, Virginia Bracken, Tishomingo, and Betty June Murray, Oklahoma City; a sister, Clara B. Warden, Tishomingo; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, William, John and Woodrow; four sisters, Minnie Turner, Mattie, Ruby and Miraim Morrow; a granddaughter; and great-grandson.
Bearers will be Alan Murray, Kevin and Clint Morrow, Bodie, Bobby and Mike Bracken. Honorary bearers are Sherman Spencer, Guy Houser, Dean Russell, Stacey Marquise and Tom Winkler.
Services for David Lynn Creecy, 27, will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Chapel. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Born Sept. 5, 1969 at Ardmore, he died May 9, 1997.
Creecy was an electrician and had lived in Ardmore all of his life.
Survivors include his parents, Gary and Jane Creecy; one brother and his wife, Tony and Deana Creecy; a niece, Dusti Creecy; and his grandmother, Sylvie Vaughan, all of Ardmore.
Services for Victor R. Graham, formerly of Ardmore, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Craddock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Monty Baggett officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Born to Ed and Willie Freeman Graham at Mill Creek, he died May 9, 1997, at an Oklahoma City hospital.
He married Jessie Faye Michael on Nov. 26, 1932, at Marietta. Before his retirement Graham had worked for 30 years as a rate clerk for Santa Fe Railroad in Ardmore, Enid, Oklahoma City and Albuquerque, N.M. He was a member of the Southwest Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two brothers, Warren G. , Corpus Christie, Texas, and Clyde R., Longview, Texas; one sister, Maxine Morrison, Moore; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Charlie Taliaferro, James King, Alan Haug, Michael Patterson, William Mark Graham and Christopher Blaine Graham.
SULPHUR -- Services for Anna Belle Alberson, 63, Roff, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cowley-Krien Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Wise officiating. Interment will follow at Sandhill Cemetery. Wake services will be at 7 tonight.
Born Jan. 10, 1934, at Byars to Ben and Hannah Meely Wallace, she died May 9, 1997, at Oklahoma City. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gaston Hickman, 1980, and Homer Alberson, 1989.
Mrs. Alberson had lived in the area all of her life. She was a housewife, and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include six daughters, Jo Ann Taylor, Davis, Christina Bates, Fox, Linda Gibson, Pauls Valley, Magdaline Gibson, Wynnewood, June White Buffalo, Ada, April Castillo, Oklahoma City; one stepdaughter, Neatha Smith, McAlester; three sons, Phillip Hickman and Henry Hickman, Roff, Roderick Hickman, Ada; three stepsons, Ronald Hickman, Dallas, Donald Hickman, Colorado, Herman Hickman, Tulsa; two brothers, Luke Wallace, Oklahoma City, and Josh Wallace, Pauls Valley; two half brothers, Marvin Wallace and James Wallace, both Sulphur; two sisters, Geraldine Meely, Stratford, and Mary Lou Meely, Maysville; two half sisters, Pat Amos and June Capehart, both Sulphur; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Eugene Castillo, Marvin Wallace, Kevin Wallace, Evan Wallace, Robert Taylor and James Wallace.
Grandsons will serve as honorary bearers.
SULPHUR -- Graveside rites for John David Conley, 88, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Oaklawn Cemetery with Dan Clark officiating. Flag service will be conducted by Sam Elliston and Owen Bell.
Born Oct. 12, 1908, at Cumby, Texas, to Albert and Stella Morrow Conley, he died May 9, 1997, at Sulphur. He married Fannie Strange in 1924 at Pauls Valley. She preceded him in death on May 31, 1996. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Q.T.
Conley came to Sulphur in 1915. He had owned and operated a taxi service and a service station for a number of years before retirement. He was a veteran of World War II. Conley was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Alice Fair, Rancho Cordova, Calif.; one son, Leroy Maxon, Mill Creek; one brother, Charles, Texas; one sister, Billie Barger, Duncan; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Clagg Funeral Home will direct services.
SULPHUR -- Services for Harold Denard "Hoppy" Dunlop, 62, Mill Creek will be 2 p.m. Monday at First FreeWill Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Trent officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Born Aug. 11, 1934, at Sulphur to Leonard and Afra Freeman Dunlop, he died May 9, 1997, at Madill. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Dunlop had lived most of his life in this area. He married Wanda Pope Aug. 13, 1987, at Muenster, Texas. He was a heavy equipment operator and of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; one son, Tony, Grand Prairie, Texas; two stepdaughters, Jayne Brown, Norman, and Dorinda Del Frate, Palm Harbor, Fla.; his father and stepmother, Leonard and Bea Dunlop, Parker, Ariz.; one grandchild; and two stepgrandchildren.
Bearers are Fred Miller, Monroe Lee, Curtis Dilbeck, J.W. Chadwick, Bill Pope, Jerry Pope and John Pope. Honorary bearers are Ray Brooks, Arnold Trett, Bill Bivins, Leon Blagg, George Grantham and Paul Chaffin.
Services are under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
RYAN -- Services for Foye Hughes, 87, former Ryan resident, were Saturday at the First Untied Methodist Church with the Rev. Doug Griggs officiating. Interment followed at Ryan Cemetery.
Born June 5, 1909, at Grady to James and Ida Dunford, she died May 7, 1997 at an Oklahoma City nursing home. She married Thomas Hughes in 1932. He preceded her in death on May 14, 1960.
Mrs. Hughes grew up in the Grady area and attended grade school there. She graduated from Ryan High School in 1928. After completing school she kept books for the Dunford Cotton Gin Company. She and her husband acquired an interest in the First State Bank. Following her husband's death, Mrs. Hughes assumed the presidency of the bank. She retired in 1968. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews.
Bearers were Jack Savage, Don Seay, Charlie Southard, Earl Clark, Bob Givens and Rash Barrett.
Services were under the direction of Grantham-Worley Funeral Home.
BEE -- Services for Ben Jewell Stallings will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mission Baptist Church in Bee with the Rev. Ray Larkin officiating. Interment will be at Bee Cemetery under the direction of Corbin Funeral Home.
Stallings died May 9, 1997, in Madill. He was born Feb. 17, 1904, at Bee, to James O. and Maggie Fuller Stallings.
A resident of Johnston County for 93 years, he married Mattie Shasteen Feb. 16, 1925, at Durant, and was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of Mission Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, C.T., Norman, and B.J., Windom, Texas; a daughter, Dealma Harris, Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, Hulen, Los Alamos, N.M.; two sisters Christine Anderson, Kansas, and Florence Butler, California; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six brothers, and three sisters.
Bearers will be Tommy Winkler, Tommy Shasteen, Darrell, Clyde, Clarence and Homer Stallings. Honorary bearers are Clifford Anderson, J.B. Thomas and J.W. Reed.
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Services for Owen Taylor, 58, will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. James Catholic Church, 4308 S. Blackwelder. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at Durwood Cemetery, Durwood. Rosary services will be at 7 tonight at the church.
Born May 18, 1938, at Madill to James and Betty Taylor, he died May 7, 1997. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Samuel and Bennie Taylor.
He married Anne R. Francisco Nov. 28, 1959, at Chicago. He worked as a perishable order selector for Flemming Foods in Oklahoma City. Taylor was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Michael, Norman, and Anthony R., Yukon; one brother, Walley, Madill; one sister, Dena Marie Christie, McMillian; and two grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Bill Merritt Funeral Home.
SULPHUR -- Services for Ella Mae Collins, 84, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Clagg Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Drumright.
Born Feb. 22, 1913, at Belleville, Mo., to Jess G. and Etta C. Peterson Gant, she died May 8, 1997, at St. Louis, Mo. She married W. Granville Collins on Oct. 18, 1934, at Cushing. He preceded her in death Sept. 14, 1962.
Mrs. Collins moved to Drumright in 1914 and attended school there. She moved to Sulphur in 1948. She was a retired Oklahoma School for the Deaf houseparent and was a member of the First United Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Judith Masoner, Marion, Ill.; one brother, William Neil Gant, Orlando, Fla.; four sisters, Violet Boggs and Rose Rathbun, both Oklahoma City, Gene Noble, Dallas, and Betty Kroiczyk, Houston; and two grandchildren.
Bearers are Joe Taylor, Sable Harden, Burl Mann, Larry Hobbs, Harold Gentry and Jim Glover.
Funeral services for Victor R. Graham are scheduled for 2 p.m. today, May 12 1997, in Craddock Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bill Day officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Graham was born in Mill Creek, the son of Ed and Willie Freeman Graham. He died in an Oklahoma City hospital on May 9, 1997.

Pall bearers will be Charlie Taliaferro, James King, Alan Haug, Michael Patterson, William Mark Graham and Christopher Blaine Graham.
Services for former Ardmore resident Wilton H. Cook, 81, Bella Vista, Ark., were at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church with Dr. Richard T. Hopper officiating. Interment was at Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of Becker Funeral Home, Lawton.
Cook was born April 24, 1916, in Carter County. He died May 9, 1997, in an Oklahoma City hospital.
Reared in Carter County, he married Ruby J. Lofties June 22, 1940, and moved from Healdton to Ardmore in 1947. He owned and operated Excelsior Laundry and Dry Cleaning, becoming owner in 1957 and retiring in 1975. He was former president of Ardmore Lions Club and deacon at First Baptist Church, and served as deacon of Bella Vista Baptist Church, where he was a member. He was preceded in death by his wife on Aug. 5, 1989.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Gary W., Lawton, and Jay L., Houston; a sister, Lettie Cook, Oklahoma City; three brothers, Roy, Wichita, Kan., Judson and Melvin, Oklahoma City; and five grandchildren.
Services for Frank "Cudge" Kennedy, 93, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Harvey-Douglas Chapel with the Rev. Ken Campbell officiating. Interment will be at Woodford Cemetery, Woodford.
Kennedy died May 10, 1997, in the Marietta hospital after an extended illness. He was born Oct. 1, 1903, at Big Cedar Indian Territory, to C.H. and Virginia J. Fields Kennedy.
He had lived in the Ardmore area most of his life and had worked as a farmer. He attended Mary Niblack Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Everett, Benton, Kan.; and a sister, Pauline Miller, Oklahoma City.
Bearers will be John Nipp, David Riner, Jake Whatley, Drew and Arthur Rickets, Lee, Wayne and Brad Scott.
RINGLING -- Graveside funeral services for Verlia "Billie" Mayton, 87, were at 2 p.m. Monday, May 12, 1997, at Ringling Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Adkisson and Bro. Jim Morris officiated.
Mrs. Mayton died Saturday evening, May 10, 1997, in an Ardmore health care facility after an extended illness.
The daughter of Ebanezer and Cordia Chestnut Glass, she was born June 23, 1909, in Mobeeti, Texas. She married Charley Mayton on Nov. 4, 1942, at Gainesville, Texas. Their earlier married life was spent in Long Beach, Calif., before moving to Wilson where she remained until Mr. Mayton's death on March 5, 1964. She moved to Ringling where she lived until her recent stroke. She was a lifetime seamstress and excelled in the speed and quality of her work.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Mike Turner, Ringling; a grandson, Jeff Turner, Albuquerque, N.M.; a granddaughter, K.T. Turner, Throckmorton, Texas; a great-grandson, Dakota Moncrief, Throckmorton; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joy and Buddy Morris and Frances and Dana Jackson, Ringling; and her nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie Glass; and two sisters, Leo Pittman and Ona Glass.
Honorary bearers were Howard Marquardt, Sid Vansickle, Twyla Throneberry, Judy Greenroyd, Carol Blakeway and Debra Acuna.
