DAVIS -- Service for G.W. "Pete" Pullen were Saturday at the Assembly of God Church with the Revs. Finis Steelman and Johnny Beckmon officiating. Interment was at Green Hill Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
Pullen died July 17, 1997, in Davis, where he was born Dec. 20, 1916, to Cecil and Carrie Kelly Pullen.
He was a lifelong resident of Davis and a retired police officer. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Helen Hackney, in 1972. He and Cora Lee were married Jan. 19, 1973. She died in 1984.
Survivors include four sons, Mark Pullen, Davis, Craig Pullen, Stratford, Ernie Pullen, Oklahoma City, and Charles Grantham, Longwood, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Brenda Seal, Ada, and Lydia Jackson, Sulphur; three sisters, Mary Roberts, Roff, Ruth Mancebo, Ada, and Ora Mae Thompson, Youngstown, Ariz.; a brother, Gordon, Davis; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
PAULS VALLEY -- Services for Maudie Lee Wright, former Ardmore resident, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Stufflebean Funeral Home, Pauls Valley. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Wright died July 21, 1997, in the Norman hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1932, at Wynnewood.
She was employed at Uniroyal 23 years before she retired and had been a longtime member of Northeast Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy L. Wright, on Dec. 29, 1969; a brother, Mack Williams, in 1972; and sister, Ruby Hamilton, in 1995.
Survivors include her parents, Rube and Minnie Williams, Paoli; two sisters, Annie Belle Rickett, Pauls Valley, and Linda Brown, Paoli; and a brother, John Williams, Moore.
COUNTYLINE -- Services for Cornelia Iva "Aunt Het" Ivey were scheduled for 1 p.m. today at Countyline Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. L.T. Woodall officiating. Interment was at New Velma Cemetery.
Mrs. Ivey died July 20, 1997, in a Healdton health care facility. She was born Sept. 7, 1907, in Oklahoma Indian Territory, to Felbert and Ida Alberston.
She married Chester E. Ivey on March 11, 1956, and lived in the Countyline area most of her life before moving to Healdton in 1984. Her husband preceded her in death.
She is survived by nephews and nieces, among them Sonny Firestone, Velma, Keith Firestone, Ratliff City, and Monk Firestone, Gene Autry.
Bearers were Gil Messersmith, Tom Gilmore, Merlin Harris, Allen, Tom and Martie Firestone.
Milburn Funeral Home, Ratliff City, directed services.

Lawrence R. Eudy, age 68, passed away July 12, 1997, in Austin, Texas, following a lengthy illness.
He lived in Ardmore for more than 24 years and retired from the Uniroyal Tire Company.
He was a loving and devoted father and grandfather, a loving brother and friend. He meant the world to his girls. So here we say for everyone to see and know, we love you now and forever, Daddy.

WILSON -- Services for Utah Carrol Newell will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Elde H. Chain officiating. Interment will be at Simon Cemetery under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home.
Newell died July 21, 1997, in the Healdton hospital. He was born Sept. 30, 1924, at Simon to George S. and Mary E. Foutch Newell.
Reared at Simon, he served in the Army, and married Barbara Reynolds in 1951, at Fort Worth, Texas, where he worked for General Dynamics before he retired in 1962. He moved to Wilson in 1980.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters, Kathie Lamb, Azle, Texas, and Janice McGraw, Fort Worth; a son, George, Azle; two brothers, W.W. Newell, Wilson, and Doyle Wood, Raisin City, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Audrey Ford and June Finley.
Bearers will be Dale, Dean and Ricky Lamb, Keith, Bruce and Kisti McGraw.
SULPHUR -- Services for Essie Cleone Hild, 84, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Malphrus officiating. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hild died July 21, 1997, in Ardmore. She was born July 22, 1912, in Johnston County to John H. and Bertie E. Rucker Runyan.
She had lived in Murray County most of her life and was a licensed practical nurse at Arbuckle Memorial Hospital before she retired. She and Walter Phillip Hild were married June 19, 1970. He died April 5, 1991.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by several brothers.
Bearers will be James Williams, Bill, Dewey, Buddy, Clyde and Pete Runyan.
SULPHUR -- Services for Vera Mae Peak, 89 will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Clagg Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James Swain officiating. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Peak died July 21, 1997, in Ardmore. She was born June 30, 1908, at Elida, N.M., to Dio C. and Oma M. Runyan Jackson.
A resident of Sulphur most of her life, she had been a cook at the Artesian Nursing Home, Arbuckle Hospital, Bobs-B-Que and several schools. She was a member and Sunday school teacher at Calvary Baptist Church. She and Isaac Newton Peak were married April 21, 1925, in Sulphur. He preceded her in death May 29, 1969. She was also preceded by three sisters, Corene Courtney, Ammie Talkington and Velma Jackson.
Survivors include a daughter, Marcella Patterson, Sulphur; and three sons, Orel, Oklahoma City, Ray and Doyle, Sulphur; two sisters, Lucille Perdue, Davis, and Christine Vaughn, Ada; a brother, Jay Jackson, Madill; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Bearers will be Ray Poak, Jerry Lancaster, Joe Taylor, Stan Vaughn, Eldon Cleveland and Gaylon Wells. Honorary bearers are Elmer Massey, Billy Huggins, Leo and Eldred Barnes.
Private graveside rites for Sadie Ellen Rogers were 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Provence Cemetery.
Mrs. Rogers died July 21, 1997. She was born Dec. 20, 1908, at Charlie, Texas, to George W. and Hattie N. Payne Stufflebeam.
She married Glen Everrett Rogers Oct. 5, 1933, at Vernon, Texas, and had lived in this area most of her life. Her husband died in 1976.
She is survived by a son, Charles A. Saylors, Hot Springs, Ark.; a sister, Molly Jones, Ardmore; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Craddock Funeral Home directed services.
RINGLING -- Funeral services for Sherry Lou Wilson, 57, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Community Fellowship Outreach Center with Brothers Jimmy Morris, Nick Ellis and Jimmy Taylor officiating. Interment will be at Orr Cemetery under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilson was born May 23, 1940, at Orr, to Seaton Anderson and Rosie Lee Farris Abshire. She died July 22, 1997, in the Ardmore hospital.
Reared at Orr, she attended school at Orr and Ringling and was married to Lee E. Wilson in 1956 at Loco. She returned to Ringling in 1984, and established Sherry's Oil Co. four years ago. She recently began working with Family Care Home Health Care Center as a home health provider, certified nurse's aide and CMA. She was a member of the Churches of God Fellowship.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Bonnie Stanford and Geneva Gregg; and five brothers, Coy, Oscar, Earnest "Pete," Clyde and Short Abshire.
She is survived by a daughter, Freda More, Loco; two sons, Tommy Wilson, Terral, and Steve Wilson, Loco; two brothers, Ikie Joe Abshire, Velma, and Clarence Abshire, Ringling; seven sisters, Lottie Oldham, Bridgeport, Texas, Virginia Johnson, Ardmore, Joy Shankles Gonzales and Diane Jackson, Healdton, Letha Martin, Dorothy Pemberton and Syble Lyle, Ringling; 10 grandchildren, Chase Duvall, Healdton, Kendal, Toby and Tiffani Wilson, Terral, Ivey and Mickey Dee Moore, Steven, Lori, Jimmy and Joanie Wilson, all of Loco; and a great-grandson, Mika Wilson, Loco.
Serving as bearers will be nephews, Darren Abshire, Kirby Pemberton, Timmy Branch, Casey Martin, Cal Shankles, Charles Dale Shankles Jr., Pete Albin, Hal Gene Fore Jr., Wilburn Abshire and Bobby Abshire.
TISHOMINGO -- Services for Sheridita Kay Nail will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Taylor officiating. Interment will be at Enterprise Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Ms. Nail died July 24, 1997, in Oklahoma City. She was born Dec. 6, 1946, in Tishomingo to Benjamin H. and Fern Nail.
Reared in Tishomingo, she moved to Ada 16 years ago where she worked as a dietitian at Carl Albert Hospital. She also worked for the Indian Health Service before her retirement.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Claude Mann, Bradley, Vivian McWhorter and Gingy Nail, Ada; three brothers, Quannah, Steve and Vance Nail, also Ada; and a nephew, whom she raised, Jonathan Nail. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Bearers will be Toney Buck, Marc McWhorter, Jason Burwell, Larry Wood, Ron Rowe, Sherman, Willard and Earnest Frazier. Honorary bearers are Lonnie Johnson, Paul Motes, Jerry Inotishey and Albert Cooper.
MADILL -- Services for Leota June Landgraf, 73, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Watts Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Roy Oates officiating. Interment will follow at Woodberry-Forest Cemetery.
Born June 28, 1924, at McMillan, she died July 26, 1997, in the Madill hospital after two years of failing health. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Woody and Roy Scott; one sister, Norris Scott; and a grandson, Kevin Landgraf.
Mrs. Landgraf was reared in McMillan. She also lived in the Lebanon area before moving southwest of Madill where she spent the remainder of her life. She married Bill Landgraf on Oct. 28, 1944, at Fresno, Calif. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Scott and Phillip Landgraf, both Madill; one daughter, Linda Jones, Ardmore; two brothers, Ed Scott, Ardmore, and Morris Scott, Garland, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Bearers are Lynn Puckett, Joe Potter, Bob Marple, Doyle Blakely, Dick Phillips and Rickey Coleman. Honorary bearers are Doug Benson, Lyle Baker, Al Hoppers, John Carroll, Glendell Parrish, Van Nelson and A.A. Jeffrey.
ENOS -- Services for Fred D. Shipley, 85, were Saturday at the Enos Baptist Church with Max Clark, R.T. Brundige and Sherri Moore officiating. Interment was at Russett Cemetery under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill.
Shipley died July 24, 1997, in the Madill hospital. He was born Oct. 19, 1911, at Miller, to Harvey and Lula Shipley.
Reared in Johnston County, he married Ruby Dillard Sept. 15, 1934, at Tishomingo, and lived in Marshall County more than 50 years before moving to the Enos area 35 years ago. He was employed by American Flyers at Gene Autry eight years and was custodian in the Madill Public Schools 20 years. He was a founding member and deacon of Enos Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters, Freda Crozier, Marietta, and Reba Myers, Jenks; adopted son, Jimmy Reese, Burleson, Texas; a sister, Alice Morgan, Madill; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deloris Shipley; 10 brothers and sisters.
Bearers were J.B. Pruitt, Wayne Easley, Ralph Boswell, William Macon, Lee, Martin and Leo Arnold. Honorary bearers were Donald Weaver, Alton Moss, Harold O'Steen, Earl Hill, Melvin Kaney, Marion Danner, Aaron Dry, Rod Fitz, Tony Mosier, Lloyd and Ronald Ellis.
MARIETTA -- Services for Violet W. Batson, 90, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church with Dr. Gene Lamb officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
Born Aug. 24, 1906, at Enville, Indian Territory, to Ester and Dora Askew Wilson, she died July 25, 1997, in the Marietta hospital. She married W.T. Batson on Jan. 18, 1928, at Marietta. He preceded her in death on June 5, 1974. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Patty G. Rhyne, Oct. 29, 1986; one sister, Irene Billingsley; and three brothers, Dale, David and Em Wilson.
Mrs. Batson had lived all of her life in Love County. She was a homemaker and a charter member of the First Christian Church of Marietta. She loved to sew and was an excellent seamstress.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, William V. "Bill" and Dana Batson, Marietta; one daughter, Lawana Rhyne, Marietta; two brothers, Howard Wilson, Locust Grove, and Melvin Wilson, Pryor; one sister, Hazel Cochran, Marietta; five grandchildren, Dana Carol McBroom, Cathy Spradling, Claud Rhyne, Stevie Chitwood and Penny McDonough; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Curtis Cochran, Billy Bob Spradling, Bill Woford, Carl Cochran, Terry Mitchell and Richard Allen.
Services are under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home.
