MARIETTA -- Memorial services for Craig Allan Stephens, 37, were Saturday at Kennedy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Judy Gayler officiating.
Born Feb. 26, 1960, at Roseville, Calif., to Jack and Barbara Whitfield Stephens, he died Sept. 10, 1997, at his residence.
Stephens had lived in Marietta for the past seven years. He was employed at Matflex of Marietta.
Survivors include his wife, Carrie, of the home; his father, Roseville; his mother, Barbara Peterson, Folsom, Calif.; two sisters, Kelly Stephens, Dumas, Texas, and Vicki McIntyre, Sacramento, Calif.
Preston B. McComber
WALTERS -- Services for Preston B. McComber, 72, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Walters Cemetery.
Born Feb. 13, 1925, in Carter County, he died Sept. 12, 1997, near Walters. He was preceded in death by his father, George McComber; and a brother, Hester McComber in 1963.
McComber grew up at Deese, where he attended school. He married Leona O. Ferguson on Nov. 27, 1944, at Ardmore. They made their home in Carter County before moving to Walters in 1957. McComber worked more than 30 years as an electrician and lineman. He was employed by Cotton Electric Cooperative and the City of Walters. He was also a cattleman for many years. A longtime member and songleader of the Bible Baptist Church, he was a member of First Baptist Church for the past six years.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; his mother, Myrtle McComber, Ardmore; two sons, Leon, Walters, and Kent, Norman; two daughters, Shirley Smith and Hazel Petty, both Walters; three brothers, Lester M. and Mike M., both Ardmore, and Albert M., Muskogee; one sister, Eveline Evers, Ardmore; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home.
Leland E. Daniel Jr.
Services for Leland Eugene "Bubba" Daniel Jr., 20, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Western Heights Pentecostal Holiness Church. The Rev. Donnie Collins will officiate. Interment will be in the Lone Grove Cemetery.
The son of Leland and Carolyn Bridgeman Daniel, was born July 21, 1977, in Ardmore. He died Sept. 13, 1997, in a local hospital. He was a lifelong area resident and attended Lone Grove schools. He was a member of the Western Heights church.
In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by a daughter, Beauty LeAnn; two brothers, Carey Lee Daniel and Kenny Bridgeman; and a grandmother, Ima Bridgeman, all of Lone Grove; another grandmother, Zona Skaggs, Ardmore; and great-grandmother, Lillian Knight, Marietta.
Bearers will be Darrell Rudd, David Porter, Jerry Youngblood, James White, Joe Don Stewart and Eric Frazier.

Ethel Wallace
Services for Ethel Wallace, 88, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Harvey-Douglas Chapel with the Rev. David Allen officiating. Interment will be in Lone Grove Cemetery.
Born Sept. 27, 1908, at Mead, to John Frank and Malissa Byingon Coplin, she died Sept. 14, 1997, in a Wilson nursing facility.
A lifelong resident of the area, she and Forrest Wallace were married Dec. 31, 1934, in Lone Grove. He preceded her in death in 1965. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Grace Baptist Temple.
Survivors include two sisters, Lettie Chappell, Ardmore, and Billie Dvorak, Oklahoma City.
Bearers will be Carl and Darren Faires, Erik Hamilton, Bert Gibbs, Elom Cypert and Clifford Edmonds.
Ivon I. Bell Jr.
MARIETTA -- Services for Ivon I. Bell Jr., 83, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Eastside Baptist Church with the Revs. Steve Gardner and Sid Bazzrea officiating. Interment will be in Hewitt Cemetery, Wilson.
Born Nov. 10, 1913, in Boswell, to Ivon I. Bell Sr. and Sally Engleman Bell, he died Sept. 13, 1997, at his home.
He lived in Love County the last nine years, moving from the Kingston-Bumcombe Creek area. A retired service station owner, he was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church. He married Irene Wilson Sept. 10, 1932, in Lawton.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; one daughter, Sue Curry, Marietta; one brother, Elroy Bell, Port O'Connor, Texas; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Bill Bell, in 1977; and one daughter, Sally Jean Bell, in 1938.
Bearers will be Billy Bell, Jesse Kirk, Mike Owens, Charles Kretzschmar, Dutch Langston and Chris Lemons.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at the Kennedy Funeral Home.
Lena B. Callaway
SULPHUR -- Services for Lena B. Callaway, 85, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Calvary Baptist Church with the Revs. Eddie Maplhrus, James Swain and Bill Leveridge officiating. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Born June 21, 1912, in Springer, to George and Lorena Brown Elmore, she died Sept. 13, 1997, in Norman.
She was reared in the Springer area and moved to Sulphur in 1946. She owned and operated Callaway Nursing Home for several years. A member of the Calvary Baptist Church, she married J.B. "Corky" Callaway July 12, 1933, in Ardmore. He preceded her in death May 16, 1984.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Hughes, Sulphur, and Glenda Hamilton, Chickasha; three sisters, Christina Rutledge, Ardmore, Faye Grounds, Lone Grove, and Rosie King, Odessa, Texas; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Willis Ray Callaway in 1951; a sister, Hazel Rutledge; and six brothers, Floyd, Claude, Richard, Clyde, Monty and Frank Elmore.
Bearers will be Pete Haines, Wayne McClure, Sam Jewell, Sammy Jones, Phil Key and Danny Hillard. Honorary bearers will be David Pittman, Billy Frank Lance, Tim Colbert, Steve Colbert and Rocky Hughes.

Irene Perryman Dobson
SULPHUR -- Graveside services for Irene Perryman Dobson, 88, were to be at 2 p.m. today at Oaklawn Cemetery. The Rev. Don Parr officiated. Service arrangements were under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
Born Dec. 21, 1908, in Wetumka, Hughes County, Mrs. Dobson died Sept. 13, 1997, in Sulphur. A retired nurse, she was a member of the Church of God and had lived in Sulphur since the early 1950s, moving from Wichita Falls.
Survivors include a son, Floyd Perryman, Fort Worth, Texas; a brother, Jess Betts, Ada; and a granddaughter.
Evelyn Jane Barnett
DAVIS -- Services for Evelyn Jane Barnett, 68, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Finis Steelman and Randy Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
Born May 15, 1929, at Davis to Onis M. and Callie May Sanders Wilson, she died Sept. 13, 1997, at Davis. She was preceded in death byone son, Lee Mathew "Boots" Barnett; and a brother, Billy Wilson.
She married Bobby Joe Barnett on Aug. 4, 1949, at Gainesville, Texas. Mrs. Barnett lived in Davis her entire life. She was a housewife and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; one son, Joe, Davis; one daughter, Lawanda Gilley, Davis; two brothers, Buck Wilson, Davis, and E.E. "Sonny" Wilson, Farmington, N.M.; and three grandsons.

Born Aug. 30, 1920, to Mr. and Mrs. Absalt Lowe, she died Sept. 13, 1997, in a Tishomingo hospital.
A housewife, she lived in Johnston County most of her life. She married Joe Mobley in Seymour, Texas. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Mobley, Milburn, and Tommy Mobley; one daughter, Joan Scribner, Coleman; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Mobley.

George Webster Chronister
DAVIS -- Services for George Webster Chronister, 78, Springer, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Assembly of God Church with the Revs. Eddie Dye and M.E. Dickinson officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Davis.
Born March 20, 1919, in Hennepin to Dee and Rubye Pike Chronister, he died Sept. 14, 1997, in Springer.
A lifelong resident of the Davis area, he was reared in Hennepin. Chronister was a World War II veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Assembly of God Church, Baum. He was a retired truck driver. He married Lillian Ashford Nov. 29, 1989, in Davis.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, James Chronister, Pauls Valley, Donnie Joe Nantz, Springer; one daughter, Annette Anderson, St. Petersburg, Fla.; one brother, Wyndell; two sisters, Louise Webb, Oklahoma City, and Zona Mumford, Davis.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sylvia Chronister; two brothers, Edd and Harold; one sister, Wilma Hale; and one grandson.

Alice Dumas Adams

Born March 27, 1918, in Reck, to Robert and Bessie Thompson Dumas, she died Sept. 10, 1997, in Turlock, Calif.
Reared in Reck, she attended Zaneis schools. She married Oza Lawrence in 1935. He preceded her in death in 1939. She married E.C. Adams April 20, 1940. He preceded her in death June 2, 1953. Mrs. Adams moved to California, where she owned and operated a residential care center in Delhi.
Survivors include five daughters, Lavyon Duncan, Foley, Ala., Kathleen S. Hitchcock, Warrenton, Mo., Ann Adams and Donna Reynolds, Turlock, Calif., and Debbi Reynolds, Las Banos, Calif.; three sons, Robert, St. John, Mo., Terry D., Stevenson, Calif., and Jack, Nortonville, Ky.; 24 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Aaron Stephen Guilbeau
VAN BUREN, Ark. -- Services for Aaron Stephen Guilbeau, 3, will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with interment at 3 p.m. Thursday at Rose Hill Cemetery, Ardmore.
He died Sept. 14, 1997, in an Arkansas hospital.

A lifelong Ardmore resident, Mrs. Wheeler was a member of New Covenant Fellowship. She married John Wheeler Dec. 8, 1990.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Joseph Dane; and two daughters, Brittany Rashelle and Shelbe Dawn, all of the home; her father, J.L. Steudeman; and mother, Barbara Huff, both of Ardmore; brothers, Garland, Rogers, Ark., Mark, Ardmore, and Michael, Moore; and sisters, Melanie, Kristi, Loretta, Angela and Amanda, Ardmore, and Sheila, Tulsa; and her grandmother, Mary Steudeman, Ardmore.
