ANTONIO GONZALEZ RAMIREZ
The funeral for Antonio Gonzalez Ramirez, 73, will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin J. Ratterman will officiate. Burial will be in Zapotlan-evo, Jalisco Mexico. Arrange-ments are by Russ-worm Funeral Home, Enid.
He died Monday, December 3, 2007, at Countryside Estates.

CLAUDE DEAN GATES
The service for Claude Dean Gates, 66, of Piedmont, will be 1 p.m. today at the family home, 2712 Apache NW, Piedmont. Arrangements are by Corbett Funeral Home.
He was born May 8, 1941, in Waynoka to Forrest “Kite” and Elsie Gates and died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Kathleen; two daughters, Karen Francka and Sharon Simmons; three sons, Daryl, Forrest “Kite” and Patrick; and nine grandchildren.

THELMA I. MUNDELL
A graveside service for Thelma I. Mundell, 95, of Laverne, will be 3 p.m. today in Laverne Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Roger Parker will officiate. Arrangements are by Myatt Funeral Home, Laverne. Visitation will be 9 a.m to noon today at the funeral home.
She was born Sept. 30, 1912, in Beaver County to Alfred L. and Lela Belle Criswell Petty and died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007, in Minneola, Kan.
She attended Blue Grass country school and graduated from Goodwell High School in 1930. She attended college at Panhandle A&M in Goodwell and received her teaching degree.
She was a member of United Methodist Church, Ditch Valley Club and Order of the Eastern Star.
She married Dwight Adrian Mundell April 18, 1936, in Dodge City, Kan. He died Oct. 19, 1997. She was a homemaker and school teacher.
Surviving are one son, D.A. Mundell of Rosston; one stepdaughter, Marvel Fuson of Burns, Tenn.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Dwight, she was preceded in death by three sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Laverne Cemetery, Laverne Ambulance or United Methodist Church.

JAMES WALTER ‘JIM’ FAUROT
A graveside service for James Walter “Jim” Faurot, 79, will be 3 p.m. Monday in Waynoka Municipal Cemetery. Dick Faurot will officiate. Arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka.
He was born Aug. 27, 1928, in Waynoka to Walter Woods and Lena Star Middleton Faurot and died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007, in Muskogee.
He graduated from Waynoka High School and attended Northwestern State College in Alva. He served in the Army during the Korean War and earned the U.N. Service Medal, Combat Infantry Badge and Korean Service Medal with one Bronze Star.
He married Billie Brown March 10, 1951. He worked as a clerk and mail carrier at the Waynoka Post Office until 1982, when he retired after 35 years of service. He was a member of United Methodist Church and Waynoka American Legion Post.
Surviving are his wife Billie, of Muskogee; two sons, Steve Allen Faurot of Skiatook and Thomas James Faurot of Denver; one daughter, Linda Gail Faurot of Muskogee; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two grandchildren.

RUTH ANN BRIDGES
A memorial service for Ruth Ann Bridges, 70, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John Chambers and Dan O’Daniel, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Leg-land Me-morial Cemetery, Burnett, Texas.
She was born Nov. 20, 1937, to Sallie Opal Parkey and John Brown and died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007, in Oklahoma City.
She was raised in Enid, graduating from Enid High School in 1955. She married Donald Martyn Bridges Dec. 3, 1955. He died in 1983. She worked at Vance Air Force Base non-commissioned officers club and other positions for 24 years. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and Red Hat Ladies.
Surviving are two daughters, Donita Farley and Patricia Goodman, both of Enid; one son, Donald Bridges of Enid; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband, Donald, she was preceded in death by one son.

MARGARET RUTH DODD
The funeral for Margaret Ruth Dodd, 94, will be 10 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church McClure Chapel. The Rev. Dan Pat-man will officiate. Burial will be in Lake-view Cem-etery, Mar-ietta. Ar-rangements are by Craddock Funeral Home, Ardmore.
She was born Jan. 14, 1913, in Marietta to Walter Belfour and Maud Louise Wicker and died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2007, in Ardmore.
She attended school in Marietta. She modeled hats for Neiman Marcus in Dallas and during World War II she worked at Lou Ellen’s Hat Shop, J.C. Penney, and retired from the Green Stamp store in 1973.
She married Harry Bliss Dodd Nov. 8, 1928, in Ardmore. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Harry F. Dodd of Ardmore and James Edward Dodd of Kingsland, Texas; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; one son; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; and several brothers and sisters.

MAXINE KENNEDY
The funeral for Maxine Kennedy, 80, of Perry, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Brown-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel, Perry. Pastor Adrian E. Pollard will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry.
She was born Jan. 13, 1927, in Eureka, Kan., to Mervin and Eva Renshaw Cross and died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, at Green Valley Nursing Home, Perry.
She married Donald Lee Kennedy Sr. in October 1984 in Stillwater. He died Dec. 13, 2006.
She was a homemaker and hair stylist She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Elks Lodge and American Legion.
Surviving are two sons, J.D. Elwood of Morrison and Jerry Elwood of Carney; one daughter, Judy Lentz of Pasco, Wash.; one stepdaughter, Kay Connery of Midland, Texas; three sisters, Betty Trissel of Madera, Calif., Joy Sears of El Cajon, Calif., and Rita Postlewait of Arkansas City, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Donald, she was preceded in death by one stepson and a sister.

JOYCE L. WALKER
A memorial mass for Joyce Lucille Hamner Walker, 76, will be 1:30 p.m. today at Holy Family Catholic Community Church, Glendale, Calif. Her body was donated to science at Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, Calif.
She was born Aug. 7, 1931, in Dallas to Edward Daniel Hamner and Sybil Bowman and died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007.
She was a graduate of Enid High School and worked in the clerical department at Vance Air Force Base. She was a member of Episcopalian Church.
She married Charles Glen Huddleston. They divorced after 23 years.
She returned to Phillips University in 1973 and became an Oklahoma-credentialed paralegal. She worked seven years for Legal Aid of Western Oklahoma.
She married Bill Walker. They later divorced. She moved to Los Angeles in 1987 after the legal office in Enid closed. She lived in Hollywood for 20 years and in 1989 attended Los Angeles City College where she studied to be a California-certified paralegal. She volunteed for more than 10 years at the Los Angeles Braille Institute as a teacher assistant. From 1991 to 1994, she volunteered on the board of directors for the Imperial Court of Los Angeles.
Surviving are one son, John Charles Huddleston and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two siblings.

NANCY ANN SCHULTZ GALLO MAURER
The funeral for Nancy Ann Schultz Gallo Maurer, 41, of Okeene, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church, Okeene. The Rev. George Rowe will officiate. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery, Hitchcock. Arrange-ments are by Wilkinson Mortuary, Okeene.
She was born Dec. 14, 1965, in Watonga to Merlyn and Louise Schultz and died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007.
She grew up in Germany and England and other locations due to her father’s military enlistments. She moved to Okeene in 1978 and graduated from Okeene High School in 1984. She graduated from Southwest-ern Oklahoma State University, Weatherford, with a bachelor of science degree in education. She taught special education at Billings, Enid and most recently, Manhattan, Kan., for a total of eight years. She was a member of United Methodist Church, Okeene, and had recorded two songs in Nashville, Tenn.
She married Vernon Gallo May 28, 1988, in Okeene and married Greg Maurer July 21, 2000, in Enid.
Surviving are four children, McKyla Gallo of Hutchinson, Kan., and Chaunsie Gallo and twins Trevon and Taylor Maurer, all of Wamego, Kan.; her parents, Merlyn and Louise Schultz of Okeene; one brother, Martin Schultz of Okeene; and one sister, Stacy Haag of Okeene.

GENE F. BAY
The funeral for Gene F. Bay, 96, of Perry, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Christ Lutheran Church of Perry. The Rev. William Metz will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dugger Funeral Home, Perry.
He was born southeast of Perry July 19, 1911, to Clarence Gilbert and Iva Myrtle Biggs Bay and died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, at Green Valley Nursing Home.
He married Evelyn Anna Lampe June 3, 1934, in Perry. She died Jan. 6, 1989. He later married Deloris Marshall in July 1991, in Perry.
He served as Noble County district three commissioner for almost 14 years. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and Morrison Lions Club.
Surviving are one son, Wayne Bay of Edmond; two daughters, Phyllis Bonfy of Albert Lea, Minn., and Betty Hildebrand of Blackwell; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn, one brother and one grandson.

MICHAEL L. WALKER
A graveside service will be held for Michael L. Walker, age 41, today, Jan. 5, 2008, at 10 a.m. in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Wade Burleson will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Michael was born May 15, 1966, in Enid, OK to Gerald and Carolyn (Dunn) Walker and died Jan. 3, 2008, at this home.
Michael loved the outdoors, He had a special interest in nature. When he was younger he collected insects. He later became an avid leaf collector. He was very insistent on lawn care and kept all the weeds pulled, and you could always count on him for an up-to-the-minute weather report. Michael attended Enid Public Schools until graduating in 1987. He was then employed by Opportunity Productions until closing. He was elected Ambassador for the United Way in 1989.
Michael never met a stranger. He was always friendly and asked everyone’s name (even if he knew it) and shook their hand. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and especially his family.
He is survived by his parents, Gerald and Carolyn; his sister, Dana Becenti and her husband Larry Kennedy; three nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Paul Walker and one sister, Shari Denton.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love or American Cancer Society, Relay for Life with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.
