PEARL VIRGINIA PEARCE
A Mass of Christian Burial for Pearl Virginia Pearce, 84-year-old Enid resident will be Monday, November 28, 2005, at 10 a.m. in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. Ernest Flusche will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary will be Sunday evening at 7 p.m. in the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Tony Crispo will officiate.
Pearl was born August 31, 1921, in Enid to Cleve Metz and Mamie (May) Metz and died Thursday, November 24, 2005, at her home in Enid.
Pearl grew up in Enid. She attended Saint Joseph's School and graduated from Enid High School in 1938. On May 20, 1941, she married Howard K. Pearce. She was a housewife and loving mother to nine children. She helped raise several grandchildren.
Pearl was a lifelong member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
She is survived by six sons, Kenneth of Divide, Colorado, Robert and wife Marie of Cedar Rapids, IA, Tedd and wife Jeannie of Hender-sonville, N.C., David of Oklahoma City, Richard and wife Reesa of Enid, and Brian and wife Becky, also of Enid; three daughters, Dianne Zenz and husband Fred of Prairie du Chien, WI, Mary Virginia Pearce and Theresa Ann Pearce of Enid; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, after 60 years of marriage.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either Hospice Circle of Love or Our Daily Bread with the funeral home acting as custodians of the fund. (Paid Obit 11-27-1)

ALLYS MAE ACKER
Allys Mae Acker, 83, of Enid, died Friday, November 25, 2005, in the United Methodist Home following an extended illness.
She was born February 16, 1922, in Stuttgard, Arkansas, to Clyde and Mary Cromwell and has lived in Enid most of her life. She attended the Enid School System and graduated from Enid High School.
Allys married Russell Acker June 1, 1941. He preceded her in death July 28, 1989. She worked with her husband in the Russell Acker Photography Studio.
She was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church and was in the Bible Study Group at the church. She was an active member in the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W., was with the Animal Rescue Organization, and was an avid cook.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan Miller, Evanston, Wyoming; two granddaughters, Kyndra Rotunda, Arlington, Virginia and Geri Fox, Salt Lake City, Utah; a great-granddaughter, Brook Fox, Salt Lake City, Utah; a brother, Vernon Cromwell and his wife, Virginia, Wichita, Kansas; a sister-in-law, Gina Shield, New York; and special friend Sharon Wedel Oxford, Enid.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2005, in the Garden Chapel of Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The casket will be open at the funeral home until 11:45 a.m. Monday. Condolences may be sent to the famiy at Ladusau-evans.net.

ROBERT WAYNE PERRY
Robert Wayne Perry, 43, was cremated at his request. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
He was born Nov. 7, 1964, in Oakland, Calif., to Earl and Louise Perry and died Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, in Lindsay Municipal Hospital, Lindsa y.
Surviving are his mother, Louise Rose of Alameda, Calif.; one sister, Renee Perry of Enid; three brothers, Joe Perry of Lawton and Jim Perry and Mike Perry, both of Enid.
He was preceded in death by his father.

MYRCINE BUFFALOMEAT
The funeral for Myrcine Buffalomeat, 56, will be 2 p.m. today at Geary First Baptist Church. The Rev. Ron Star will officiate. Burial will be in Geary Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Nichols Funeral Home, Fairview.
She was born Sept. 9, 1951, in Clinton to Raymond and Mary Fletcher Buffalomeat and died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, in Oklahoma Heart Hospital, Oklahoma City.
She attended school in Kingfisher and graduated from Chilicco Indian School in 1969. She then attended Haskell Indian Nation University, Lawrence, Kan.
She lived in South Dakota for several years and later returned to Oklahoma. She was employed with Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribes as a planner/grant writer. She served on the Cheyenne-Arapaho Election Board, Johnson-O’Malley committee, elderly nutrition program, domestic violence program and transit program. She also served on numerous pow-wow committees.
Surviving are her children, Edna Ruth Whitebull of North Dakota, Holley Longwarrior, Adrienne and Leisha Mahseet, all of Geary, and and adopted daughter, Myrcine Deer of Kingfisher; four sisters, Rena Youngbear, Margaret Sue Spottedcorn, Edna Buffalo-meat and Jane Tiger; five brothers, Moses Starr, A.D. Tallbird, Chester Whiteman, Gordon Yellowman and Jake Reynolds; and 13 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two children, one sister and six brothers.

CLIFFORD T. ‘TED’ SHOCKEY
The funeral for Clifford T. “Ted” Shockey, 79, of Medford will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Jefferson United Methodist Church, Jefferson. The Revs. Peggy DeMent and Bobby Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Hawley Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Hills-Ely Funeral Home, Medford.
Visitation with the family will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
He was born Dec. 14, 1927, in Wichita, Kan., to Merton James and Juanita Ilene Campbell Shockey and died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, in Integris Northwest Specialty Hospital, Enid.
He attended school and graduated from high school in Wichita. He served in the Air Force. He married Edythe Elaine Day Nov. 7, 1959. They moved to Medford in 1961, then lived in Jefferson for 10 years and moved back to Medford. He was a carpenter. He was a member of Jefferson United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife Edythe, of the home; one son, Jason Shockey of Medford; two daughters, Julie Osborn and Lisa Reimer, both of Medford; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son.
Memorials may be made to Jefferson United Methodist Church or Medford Ambulance Fund through the funeral home, P.O. Box 280, Medford, OK 73759.

MARY LOUISE HICKEY
A graveside service for Mary Louise Hickey, 76, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Calvary Cemetery. Don Tribble and L.D.Choate will officiate. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.
She was born July 15, 1931, west of Hennessey to Fred and Elexes Golding Brawner and died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, in Hennessey Care Center.
She married Joe Hickey in Hennessey. She worked in the real estate and auction business for a number of years.
Surviving are one son, Jim Hickey of Waukomis; one brother, Dee Brawner of Dover; and one grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe, one sister and six brothers.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Russell Murray Hospice.

JOHN MICHAEL BENNETT
A memorial service for John Michael Bennett, 62, of Garland, Texas, formerly of Hennessey, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Robyn Thompson-Goggs will officiate. Cremation arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.
He was born July 10, 1945, in Cambridge, England, to Roy E. and Margaret E. Bevan Bennett and died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, in St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Enid.
He was an electronics draftsman and a member of Masonic Lodge of Tulsa.
Surviving are his mother, Margaret E. Bennett of Hennessey; and one sister, Elizabeth Anne Fields of Enid.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy E. Bennett, and one brother.

JERRY JO TARR
Funeral services for Jerry Jo Tarr, 69, will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Vernon Lee will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Jerry was born October 8, 1938, in Jet, to Harvie O. and Irma Duff and passed away at his home, Saturday, November 24, 2007.
Jerry graduated from Jet High School. He served with the Army in Alaska. On August 15, 1964, he married Kay Chrisman in Jet. The couple lived in Jet and later made Enid their home. Jerry operated heavy equipment for Chrisman Wrecking for 40 years. He was a member of the Christian Church at Jet and the Moose Lodge.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Kay, of the home; three daughters, Sherri Tarr, Dee Tarr, Tersa Diaz and her husband Manny, all of Enid; two sisters, Joy Warren of Oklahoma City, Judy Bonewell of Blackwell; one brother, Jack Tarr of San Antonio, Texas; one grandson, Taylor Tarr Hollander; two stepgrandchildren, Juan and Maria Diaz; two granddogs, Bandit and Lucky.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Tarr.
Memorials may be made through Henninger-Allen Funeral Home to Advance Home Health Care or the Taylor Tarr Hollander Scholarship Fund.

MARIE ANNA KOEHN
Ringwood — Funeral service for Marie Anna Koehn, age 90, will be Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at 2 p.m at New Hopedale Mennonite Church in Meno with Pastor Don Blom officiating. Burial will follow in West New Hopedale Mennonite Cemetery, north of Ringwood with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home Inc. of Helena. Visitation will be today from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Tuesday before the service.

Marie Anna Koehn was born July 4, 1917, to Andrew and Carolina Koehn Kahn near Lahoma, Oklahoma and passed from this life to everlasting life early Saturday, November 24, 2007, at Great Plains Care Center in Helena.
She attended school at Pleasant View School. Marie and Paul E. Koehn were married on March 20, 1938, at her parent’s house near Lahoma. Marie accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord at the age of 15. She and her husband, Paul were baptized at the New Hopedale Mennonite Church in Meno soon after they were married. She was a member of the West New Hopedale Mennonite Church, north of Ringwood. She was an accomplished seamstress and a wonderful cook. She was the bookkeeper for K&K Garage until Paul and she retired to devote full time to farming. She entered the Great Plains Care Center in October of 1998 where she resided until her passing.
Marie is survived by two sons, Robert of Ringwood and Richard and wife, Patty, of Meno; two daughters, Gertie and husband, Leo of Blanchard and Linda and husband, Kenny of Ringwood; daughter-in-law, Elsie of Aline; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul; one son, Bill; her mother and father; one sister, Katherine; a daughter-in-law, Lorene; and a granddaughter, Cindy.
Memorials may be given to Wycliff Bible Translators through the funeral home.

WILLIAM STAFFORD ‘BILL’ GREEN
A memorial service for William Stafford “Bill” Green, 84, of Woodward, will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Don Dauphin will officiate.
He was born May 5, 1922, in Fort Sill, to Willie Lee and Gladys Vivian Green, and died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006.
He graduated from Lawton High School and joined the Army Air Corps in 1942. He flew missions over Germany during World War II. He married Peggy Clarice Laubhan Oct. 30, 1949. They made their home in Woodward. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon and 8th Air Force Society.
Surviving are his wife Peggy, of the home; two daughters, Cathryn Green of Oklahoma City and Nancy Green of Germany; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Jude Ranch Animal Sanctuary.
