STERLING SAMUEL PROPHET
The funeral for Sterling Samuel Prophet, 89, of Buffalo, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Buffalo. The Revs. Carolyn Murrow and Junior Zollinger will officiate. Burial will be in High Point Cemetery, Buffalo. Arrange-ments are by Myatt Funeral Home, Buffalo. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and Friday at the funeral home.
He was born April 15, 1917, on the family farm near Buffalo to Claude Cleveland and Cora Ann Agar Prophet and died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, at his home.
He attended Kibby schools and graduated in 1933. He was a member of United Methodist Church of Buffalo.
He married Billie Jane Prophet July 27, 1940, in Buffalo.
Surviving are his wife, Billie of the home; two sons, Sterling Duane Prophet of Newark and Billy Terrel Prophet of Woodward; one daughter, Claudia Coleen Lemons of Buffalo; three brothers, Bill Prophet of Hydro, Dean Prophet of Pueblo, Colo., and Glen Prophet of Buffalo; two sisters, Cordia Goodwin of Buffalo and Betty Fleming of Alva; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters and three infant siblings.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Buffalo Ambulance or Woodward Hospice.

PENNY L. HUNT
The funeral for Penny L. Hunt, 63, of Covington, will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Covington. The Rev. Jody Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in Covington Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dugger Funeral Home, Garber.
She was born Dec. 12, 1942, in Oklahoma City to Herbert Dafoe and Loyce Fern Martin Pinkerton and died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, at her home.
She graduated from Northwest Classen High School, Oklahoma City, in 1959.
She married Lawrence L. Hunt Nov. 11, 1962, in Guthrie.
She was a homemaker and town representative. She also was a member of First Baptist Church and Hayward Sunshine Extension Club. She was a seamstress and was involved in the summer Little League program.
Surviving are her mother, Loyce Pinkerton of Covington; two daughters, Paula Collier of Norman and Lisa Wosika of Covington; two brothers, Martin Pinkerton of Tulsa and Paul Pinkerton of Yukon; one sister, Patty Sowle of Tulsa; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence.

DAVID ANTHONY WOODS
The funeral for David Anthony Woods, 49, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Grayson Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Norris Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Ceme-tery. Ar-rangements are by Russworm Funeral Home, Enid.
He was born Jan. 12, 1957, at Vance Air Force Base in Enid to Lee A. Jr. and Delores Woods and died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006, at his home.
He graduated from Enid High School in 1975 and worked at Oklahoma Natural Gas. He attended Okmulgee State Tech, majoring in auto body. Following graduation from Okmulgee he worked in Hobbs, N.M., and Carlsbad Caverns, N.M. He later formed his own business in Hobbs as an auto body technician. He moved from Hobbs to Duncan and worked for Halliburton as a machinist, and later to Enid where he worked for Advance Meat Co. He also worked for Punch Lock as a machinist in Enid.
Surviving are his mother, Deloris Woods; two brothers, Lee A. III of Memphis, Tenn., and Stephen of Dallas; and one sister, Lenora Elise of Dallas.

MARTHA A. JANTZEN
The funeral for Martha A. Jantzen, 86, of Ashland, Kan., will be 10 a.m. Friday at Church of God, Ashland. The Rev. Roy Sprunger will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ashland. Arrange-ments are by Myatt Funeral Home, Ashland. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She was born Sept. 3, 1920, in Centertown, Ark., to Guy and Julia Patterson Rowe and died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, at Ashland Health Center, Ashland.
She lived in the Paruna community northeast of Buffalo and attended Paruna schools. She was a cook at Chicken Hut Restaurant and Fountain View Villa in Ashland and was a member of Ashland Church of God.
She married Samuel Jantzen Oct. 12, 1934, in Ashland. He died Nov. 23, 1977.
Surviving are one son, Everett Lee Jantzen of Midwest City; one daughter, Leona L. Nusz of Ashland; one sister, Melvina Reta Irons of Ashland; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

GLADYS M. JONES
Gladys M. Jones, 86, formerly of Parsons, Kan., died at 10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006, at The Methodist Home in Enid.
She was born Sept. 28, 1920, in Council Grove, Kan., to Ralph Campmier Sr. and Kit-tie M. (Belt) Campmier. As a young girl she grew up and attended schools in Council Grove and graduated from Coun-cil Grove High School.
She and Herbert D. Jones were married June 18, 1938, in Cottonwood Falls, Kan. Following marriage, they lived in western Kansas before moving to Parsons from Pratt in 1950. They continued to live in Parsons until 1969 at which time they moved to Topeka. In 1978, they returned to Parsons to make their home. She loved her church and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Parsons.
Surviving are three sons, Don L. Jones of Enid, OK and Steve R. Jones and Matthew S. Jones, both of Parsons, Kan.; one daughter, Kimberly S. (Jones) Bowling of Topeka, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Paul Campmier.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Herbert D. Jones on Nov. 25, 1999; one brother, Ralph Campmier; three sisters, Zelma Amos, Genevieve Kidd and Aletha Zgonic; and one grandson David Jones on Jan. 11, 2002.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons.

CURTIS L. BOWLES
The funeral services for Curtis L. Bowles will be 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, at Henn-inger-Allen Funeral Home Chap-el with Chaplain (Lt. Col.) Mark Zerger officiating. Burial will follow in Ames Cemetery with services under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
Curt was born May 12, 1942, in Ames, OK, the son of Hugh W. Bowles and Pauline Horsley Bowles and died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2006, in Enid.
He grew up in Ames and was educated there. Curt’s grandchild, Dylan was the light of his life. He loved spending time and enjoyed being around him. Curt was employed by Continental Resources Inc. for 28 years.
Curt is survived by his wife, Sybil of the home; one son, Brian Bowles of Enid; one daughter, Julie Smith and her husband Doug of Enid; one grandchild, Dylan Smith; two brothers, Bob Bowles of Ames, OK and Troy Bowles of Beaver, OK; and one sister, Jill Campos of Oxford, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

DOROTHY RUMPH
A Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothy Rumph, 86-year-old Enid resident will be 10 a.m. today, Nov. 16, 2006, at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Rev. Larry Kowalski will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
She was born Dec. 14, 1919, to Philip Lepert and Marguerite (Solome) Lepert and died Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, at Sunrise Assisted Living, Plano, Texas. She was a long-time member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Katheryn Silah and husband Robert of Tampa, Fla., and Barbara Rumph of Plano, Texas; one son, Lee Rumph, also of Plano; two grandchildren, Michael and Jason Silah of Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Louise Bennett of San Jose, Calif.; and one brother Stanley Lepert of Plattsmouth, Neb.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin, her son Larry, her parents, three brothers, George, Frank and Arthur and one sister, Cecelia.

MARGARET LEE OOLS
Funeral services for Margaret Lee Ools, 75, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Dan Barrick will officiate. Burial will be in the North Marshall Cemetery.
She was born Jan. 31, 1931, in Oklahoma City, OK to Roy and Luella (Schaffer) Short and died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, in Enid.
She was raised in the Wink, TX area.
She married Addison Ools Dec. 5, 1946, and they moved to Enid in 1969. He passed away June 26, 1991.
She waited tables, cooked, and owned her own restaurant in Marshall. She was a foster grandparent and attended the First Assembly of God Church. She was a member of International Aglow.
She is survived by her son, JR Ools and his wife Mary Ann of Enid; two brothers, Rec Short and his wife Delza of Moore, OK, and the Rev. Ted Short and his wife Judy of Andrews, TX; grandchildren, Chris Ficken and his wife Kim of Lutz, FL, Les Ools and his wife Barbara of Enid, Lisa Stillion and husband Chris of Jacksonville, FL, Marc DuBois and his wife Cassidy of Enid; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends Frances Peach and Glendora Harting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Bill and Bob Short; one sister, Loretta Johnson; an infant son, Roy Ools; a daughter, Mary Ficken; son-in-law, Kenny Ficken; and granddaughter, Lee Ann Ficken.

C.E. ‘JR.’ WARDEN
A graveside service for C.E. “Jr.” Warden, 83, of Nash, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Harper Cemetery. The Rev. John Schnelle will officiate. Arrange-ments are by Prairie Rose Funeral Home, Anthony, Kan. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born June 22, 1923, in Cleveland, Okla., to Clarence E. and Moet Burton Warden and died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006, at Anthony Community Care Center, Anthony.
He married Betty Giesen Oct. 9, 1945, in Kingman, Kan. He was a heavy equipment operator for the county road and bridge crew and had lived in Nash and Anthony. He was a member of Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are one son, Jeff Warden of Sheridan, Wyo.; one daughter, Jackie Berry of Anthony; a sister, Neva Luce of Austin, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; three children; three sisters; and two brothers.
