A graveside service for Patricia Louise Smith, 65, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Garden Chapel. The Rev. Marilyn Murray will officiate. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
She was born July 1, 1941, in Checotah, to Rupert and Marie Winkle Smith and died Monday, Nov. 6, 2006, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid.
She attended schools in Gentry, Ark., and then attended business college in Tulsa. She married Larry Smith Sept. 2, 1960, in McAlester. They made their home in Muskogee. They moved to Enid in 1984, where they worked for Mutual of Omaha. She was a member of Enid First Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Michele Parrish of Enid; one son, Kevin Smith of Oktaha; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Larry, one grandson and two brothers.

The funeral for Amy LaDawn Swanson, 29, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Marvin Goodpasture will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 17, 1977, in Enid, to Gerry and Millie Campbell Swanson and died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.
She attended Hillsdale Christian School and Enid Public Schools. She was a volunteer for Hope Outreach.
Surviv-ing are one daughter, Lynnecia Swanson, of the home; mother, Millie Campbell of Enid; father, Gerry Swanson of Enid; three sisters, Misty Swanson, Kimberly Swanson and Kaylee Dittmeyer, all of Enid; two brothers, Todd Swanson and Randy Dittmeyer, both of Enid; maternal grandparents, Genevieve and Loyd Campbell of Enid; and paternal grandparents, Treva L. and John A. Swanson of Hillsdale.

A private service for Gloria May Ray, 69, of Enid, will be at a later date in Enid Mennonite Brethren Church Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. She was cremated at her request.
She was born Jan. 30, 1937, in Enid, to Edward and Elizabeth Vogt Neufeld and died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006, at Enid Senior Care Center.
She worked as a certified nurse aide for Enid State School, retiring after 27 years. She was a member of Davis Park Christian Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Patricia G. Ray Erven of Brownfield, Texas; four sisters, Mary Anne Peckham of Enid, Frances Claxton, Elizabeth Jamison, both of Sun City, Ariz., and Eva Ruth McCaskil of Bethune, S.C.; three brothers, Harold Neufeld of Bakersfield, Calif., Eddie Neufeld of Vacaville, Calif., and Robert Neufeld of Washington, Utah; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

The funeral for Mickey Ray Stuteville, 74, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Seiling. Burial will be in Brumfield Cemetery. Arrangements are by Shaw Funeral Home, Vici.
He was born Nov. 5, 1932, in Yukon, to Dan and Mattie Carr Stuteville and died Friday, Nov. 3, 2006, in Dallas.
He was raised in Seiling, attending Diamond country school and Seiling Public Schools, graduating in 1950. He continued his education at Oklahoma A&M and graduated from Oklahoma City University in 1962 with a degree in industrial engineering. He married Jauquin Calkins Sept. 21, 1952, in Lenora. They made their home in Tulsa. He was president of ONEOK Resources until his retirement in May 1996. He was a member of Oklahoma Association of Business and Industry, American Gas Association, and Kiwanis. He served in the Army from May 1953 to May 1955. He attained the rank of corporal and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Enid.
Surviving are his wife Juaquin, of the home; three daughters, Yvonne Alley of Jonesboro, Ark., Marily Kroll of Rockwall, Texas, and Debbie McKee of Mustang; one brother, Mike Stuteville of Perryton, Texas; one sister, Catherine Huitt of Portage, Mich., and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
Lieutenant Colonel Earl H. Geil, 65, USAF retired, of Panama City, passed away Friday, Nov. 3, 2006 at Gulf Coast Hospital following a courageous fight against the ravages of Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy.
He was born in Washington, D.C. on June 22, 1941, to Glenn Wallace Geil and his wife Florence Case Geil. He retired to Bay County in 1988. He graduated from the University of Virginia, and received his Master’s of Science degree from the University of Southern California. He was an active caver during his college days. His love of vertical caving resulted in his invention of the water-cooled rappel spool. He was named “Fellow” of the National Speleological Society. He entered the United States Air Force in 1964 and served as a reconnaissance pilot, earning his 100 missions patch for reconnaissance flights over North Vietnam in the RF-4.
Upon returning to the states, he flew the F-106 and the F-5. Favorite assignments included 5th Fighter Interceptor Squadron (FIS) at Minot, N.D., reconnaissance adviser to the Royal Thai Air Force in Bangkok, Thailand, Chief of Maintenance 318th FIS, Tacoma, Wash.; Chief of Tactical Evaluation, NATO/AIRSOUTH, Naples, Italy; and Commander 325th Aircraft Generation Squadron, Tyndall Air Force Base for the conversion from the F-106 to the F-15. His decorations include the Distinguished Flying Cross and numerous other commendations and awards for his service. Following his retirement to Bay County, Earl was the owner/broker of Emerald Coast Realty, Inc., an active member of the Bay County Board of Realtors, and named Realtor of the Year. He was also an owner of the Chef’s Shoppe. Earl was a member of Arlington Forest Methodist Church, Arlington, Va., The Red River Valley Fighter Pilots Association and the Anciente and Secret Order of Quiet Birdmen.
He was pre-deceased by his parents and his sons, John Andrew Geil and James Michael Geil.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Margaret Burnley Geil (Peggy); daughter, Tamara (Tammy) Smith and husband Scott; grandchildren, Reagan MacKenzie Smith and Keegan Reid Smith, all of Panama City; his brother, Robert Geil and wife Sue of Las Vegas, N.Y.; his sister, Lois Phelps and husband Harvey of Pond Creek, OK; nephews and nieces, Marcia Geil and Eric Geil of Las Vegas; Harvey Phelps III, of Dallas, TX and Rebecca Halcom and husband Sam of Pond Creek, OK and numerous cousins.
The family will receive visitors today, Nov. 7, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel in Panama City, with the Rev. David Warren officiating. Burial with full military honors by the United States Air Force will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers are friends from elementary school, Richard Marshall, John Ouderkirk and Charles Rayfield and military friends, Mike Alvord, Jim Dove, Paul Robinson, T.C. Thompson and Jack Walker. Honorary pallbearers are the men and women of the Red River Valley Fighter Pilots Association Tyndall Pack and Quiet Birdmen.

The funeral for Sybill Kerr, 100, will be 2 p.m. today at Okeene United Methodist Church. The Rev. George Rowe will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Okeene. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary, Okeene.
She was born June 2, 1907, in Deer Creek to George and Denny Mead Jones and died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007.
She graduated from Deer Creek High School.
She married George Kerr April 25, 1925, in Deer Creek. She was a homemaker and had lived in Okeene for 47 years where she was a member of Okeene United Methodist Church and Eastern Star.
Surviving are one son, Riley Kerr of Carson City, Nev.; one daughter, June Schmidt of Denton, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George, three daughters, two sons, and one brother.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to United Methodist Church.
A memorial service for Alan Dale Estes, 83, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel. His remains were donated to Anatomy Gifts Registry.
He was born May 3, 1924, near Kremlin to Mahlon and Edna King Estes and died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
He graduated from high school in Hunter.
He married Virginia Maner Sept. 27, 1953, in Peggs. In 1958, they made their home in Kremlin. He worked for Farmers Grain Coop of Kremlin, retiring in 1986.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia, of the home; one daughter, Donna Gannon of Kremlin; two sons, Lewis Estes of Kremlin and Larry Estes of North Richland Hills, Texas; one sister, Ruth Umber of Watonga; two brothers, Charles Estes of Seattle, Wash., and James Estes of Enid; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother.

She was born May 21, 1940, in Cleo Springs to Eldred Alanson and Eula Mae Devilbiss Pierce and died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, in Tulsa.
She graduated from Waynoka High School and attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She then attended beauty school and worked as a beautician most of her life. She moved from Waynoka to Enid in 1981, and to Oologah in 1997. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Kimberly Sue Cooper of Oologah; nine brothers and sisters, Gene Pierce of Napa, Calif., Karol Pierce of Baltimore, Ohio, Dixie Stinson of Norman, Ross Pierce of Enid, Collin Pierce of Freedom, Larry Pierce of Yukon, Garry Pierce of Collinsville, Eula Augustin of Nashville, Tenn., and Merle Marrow of Tulsa; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister.

She was born Aug. 21, 1984, in Perry Point, N.C., to David and Rita Fanning Greene and died Friday, Oct. 26, 2007, at her home.
She attended Enid schools and graduated from Enid High School. She worked as a food server at various restaurants.
Surviving are her father, David Greene; her mother, Rita Fanning; one brother, Shaun Greene; and two sisters, Melinda Harris and Katrina Harris.

A memorial reception for Esther Durham Brown, 89, will be 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the home of Kate Brown, 3700 Lewis Speedway, St. Augustine, Fla. Arrangements are by Craig Funeral Home, St. Augustine.
She died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at Samantha Wilson Care Center, St. Augustine.
She was a native of Enid and attended Enid schools and was a descendant of Oklahoma pioneer families Durham and Collier. She worked for the Enid School District until 1970. She had lived in St. Augustine since 2003 and was formerly of Pioneer and Newark, Calif.
Surviving are one brother, George Durham of Bartlesville and two granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Brown Jr. and one son.
