ROBERT LEE ‘BOB’ STOUT
The funeral for Robert Lee “Bob” Stout, 63, of Chickasha, formerly of Enid, will be 11 a.m. today at Cornerstone Church, Chickasha. Arrange-ments are by Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha.
He was born March 24, 1943, and died Sunday, June 11, 2006.

OPAL LAUNA WILLS
The funeral for Opal Launa Wills, 89, of Buffalo, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Buffalo. The Rev. Jerry Hodges will officiate. Burial will be in High Point Cemetery, Buffalo. Arrangements are by Myatt Funeral Home, Buffalo. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She was born April 16, 1917, in the Pleasant Valley community, northwest of Buffalo to Albert Ed and Emma Rezine Balding Pierce and died Sunday, June 11, 2006, at Harper County Community Hospital, Buffalo.
She was a lifetime Harper County resident and attended Pleasant Valley country school, graduating from Buffalo High School in 1936.
She married Asahel Russel Wills July 18, 1936, in Buffalo. He died Sept. 2, 1994.
She was a homemaker and worked for Wills Custom Harvesting. She was a Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church and a member of Circle of Friends, all of Buffalo.
Surviving are one son, Cecil Russel Wills of Sedalia, Colo.; two daughters, Cleta Fay Davis of Buffalo and Karen Sue Hinnenkamp of Milton, Kan.; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
In addition to her husband, Asahel, she was preceded in death by one daughter and a brother.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to First Baptist Church.

LYDIA R. ROTTMAYER
A memorial service for Lydia Ruth Routh Rottmayer, 81, of Woodward, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Billings Funeral Home Chapel, Woodward. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born March 15, 1925, near Har-mon to Joshua Robert and Almira Henrietta Eulalia Simpson Routh and died Friday, May 5, 2006, at Woodward Regional Hospital.
She attended Oakland County rural school and graduated from Sharon High School in 1944. She received her teaching certification from Northwestern State College in Alva. She taught first through eighth grade at Minneola rural school near Clearlake in Beaver County.
She married Kernie Leroy Rottmayer April 28, 1945.
They made their home on the Rottmayer family farm north of Laverne, and in 1945 they moved to Woodward where they raised their family. She worked as a waitress at Bob-In Café, was a retail clerk at Jot-em-Down Store, Trego’s Western Wear, Campbells Home and Auto, was the manager of the S&H Green Stamp Store, manager of Discount by the Yard/Fashion Fabrics, was an insurance clerk for Outhier Insurance Agency, supervisory enumerator for the Oklahoma Crops and Livestock Reporting Service/National Association of State Department of Agriculture where she received several awards for outstanding service.
She was active in Boy Scouts of America Association, receiving the Den Mother Award and was the first woman to receive the Silver Fawn Award for outstanding service and contribution in Great Salt Plains Council. She also was a certified Red Cross swimming instructor. She attended First Baptist Church in Woodward.
Surviving are her husband, Kernie, of the home; two sons, Vernon Leroy Rottmayer of Wickenburg, Ariz., and Larry Max Rottmayer of Yukon; a daughter, Donna Rae White of Alva; two brothers, Earl Routh of Woodward and Willis Routh of Ponca City; six granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son and three sisters.
Memorials may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.

RUBY HARPER
The funeral for Ruby Elizabeth Harper, 103, of Woodward, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Quinlan United Methodist Church. The Rev. Aaron Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Red Top Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Billings Funeral Home, Woodward.
She was born July 3, 1902, on the family homestead outside of Quinlan to C.E. and Ida Fisher Harper and died Sunday, June 11, 2006, at her home.
She attended a country school through the eighth grade. She attended Alva High School and received her teaching certificate at an Alva college. She began her teaching career in 1921 at Pleasant Valley School. In 1924, she became postmaster of the Quinlan Post Office and returned to teaching a year later. She moved to Arkansas with her parents in 1935 where she taught school and Sunday school. She returned to Quinlan in October 1942 where she became the postmaster until 1967, when she retired. She moved to Woodward in 1984.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

DWIGHT R. ESLICK
The funeral for Dwight R. Eslick, 61, of Douglas, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Henninger-Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Tim Dorsch will officiate. Burial will follow at 10 a.m. Thursday in Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 21, 1945, in Yuba City, Calif., to Gene and Melba Gene Chattin Eslick and died Saturday, June 10, 2006, in Physicians Hospital, Ana-darko.
After receiving his education, he enlisted in the Marine Corps. He completed a tour in Vietnam where he was nominated for the Bronze Star and received the Navy Combat Valor Medal. Following his tour, he was an air traffic controller in Kansas City Central and a dental lab technician for 30 years. He was working at Schlumberger Well Service at the time of his death.
Surviving are his parents, Melba and Gene Eslick; his wife, Harla, of the home; two daughters, Stacy Marsman of the Netherlands and Elizabeth Vasser of Charlston, S.C.; one son, Steve Eslick of Pond Creek; one brother, Michael Eslick of Columbia, S.C.; and five grandchildren.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Marine Corps Scholarship Fund.

ELLEN MURPHY
The funeral for Ellen Muphy, 88, of Marshall, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Marshall. Burial will follow in Marshall Lions Cemetery North, under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey. The casket will be open at the funeral home today and Tuesday until 8 p.m. and at the church one hour prior to the service.
She was born June 18, 1918, at Belva, to Arthur L. and Lacada Ellen Conner Wilkins and died Saturday, June 10, 2006, at the home of her daughter in Hennessey. She married Earl Wilbur Murphy in Wichita, Kan., on June 4, 1944.
She graduated from Douglas High School and Central State College. She taught all eight grades for one year at 4-D and one year at Potter, and first and second grades at Covington for two years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Marshall, where she was a Sunday school teacher and church secretary and treasurer for many years. She was on the executive board of Cherokee Strip Baptist Association, state president of WCTU for 24 years and was Pioneer Woman of the Year. She was a long-time member of Bethel Boosters Extension Homemakers group and a life-long Democrat.
Survivors include two children Mary E. Voskuhl, Hennessey, and Mike Murphy, Marshall; a special niece and nephew she raised, Marylin Phillips and Joey Wilkins; two brothers Rene Wilkins of Wichita, Kan., and Duane Wilkins of Petaluma, Calif.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother.
Memorial donations may be made to Madill Baptist Girls Home or First Baptist Church of Marshall with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.

TOM NANCE
Funeral services for Farriel “Tom” Nance, 90, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
He was born Oct. 6, 1915, in Cardwell, Mo., to Wayne I. and Pearl S. Hutcheson Nance and died Saturday, June 10, 2006, at his home. He moved to Flint, Mich., with his parents at the age of four and attended high school there. He worked at the A & P Grocery from 1928 to 1933. He also worked at the main office of Buick Motor Division on Hamilton Ave. from 1933 to 1974. He was in charge of past records department and the records storage. He retired March 1, 1974, with over 40 years of service with Buick.
He married Meryl Niemann Dec. 12, 1938, and she died in January 1968. He married Inez Hays Hutson in 1968, and they moved to Enid in 1976. He was an active member of the men’s Sunday school class with Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Inez, of the home.
He was preceded in death by a brother.

MACI RAY GRACE
Funeral services for Maci Ray Grace, 15, of Ringwood, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Center Fellowship in Meno with the Rev. Terrill Parvin officiating. Burial will follow at Ames Cemetery, under the direction of Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena.
She was born Nov. 12, 1990, in Elk City to Jerry and Isabelle Taylor Grace and died Sunday, June 11, 2006, at her home near Ringwood. She moved with her family from Oklahoma City and attended Ringwood schools from pre-kindergarten. She was an avid reader and was involved in her school. She competed in a scholastic meet and was one of the valedictorians for her eighth grade graduation after missing half of the school year.
Survivors include her parents, Jerry and Isabelle Grace of Ringwood; one sister Mindy Grace of Ringwood; one brother J.R. Grace of Ringwood; and grandmothers Mary Grace of Enid and Marlene Taylor of Grand Rapids, Mich.
Memorials may be given to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation leukemia division through the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.lanmanfuneralhomes.com.

ESTER M. STRUNK
A private burial service for Ester M. Strunk, 84, of Enid, will be held today in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at a later date.
She was born Jan. 30, 1922, to Issac and Brince (Davis) Stiger and died June 7, 2006, at Highland Park Manor, where she had been a resident for many years. In 1942, she married Issac R. Strunk, and the couple lived in Dover. Following World War II, the couple moved to Enid to make their home.
Survivors include her brother, Robert Stiger, of Oklahoma City and a sister, Carolyn Conklin, of Denver.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a step-son.

EDWARD LEE MARTIN
Funeral services for Edward Lee Martin, 84, of Fairview will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at Cedar Springs Church of the Nazarene. The Revs. Virlon Chambers, Gary Janzen and Bill Kalfas willl officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, under the direction of Fairview Funeral Home Inc. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
He was born Feb. 12, 1922, north of Okeene to Ryno and Mary Marie (Fischer) Martin and died Sunday, June 11, 2006, at Oklahoma Veterans Center in Clinton. He grew up in Longdale and Eagle City and attended both schools. He lived with his sister and her husband in Cheyenne Valley for a period of time. He helped on the farm while attending school and worked full time after completing school. He served in the Army in California during World War II and was honorably discharged. He moved to Oregon and worked in a sawmill, and he married Justine Martens in Corvallis, Ore., on Dec. 25, 1947. They later moved to their home north of Cedar Springs Nazarene Church, where he farmed and ranched and worked at Hallren’s Produce. He later worked as a carpenter. He was a member of the Cedar Springs Church of the Nazarene, serving as a board member and driving the church bus for several years.
Surivors include a son, Ronald Martin of Carmen; a daughter, Candy Wichert of Fairview; two brothers, Raymond Martin of Fairview and Milo Martin of St. Joseph, Mo.; two sisters, Clara Nickel of Enid and Pat Bell of Wichita, Kan.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and three sisters.

LARRY NEAL FRANCIS
A graveside service for Larry Neal Francis, 63, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cem-etery. Arrange-ments are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home with military honors by the United States Army Honor Guard.
He was born Sept. 25, 1942, in Enid to Donald Neal and Corrine Olive (Seltenreich) Francis and died Saturday, June 10, 2006, at his home. He grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School in 1960. He later attended Lawton Junior College and Oklahoma State University. He served in the Army in Vietnam. He worked for Oklahoma Natural Gas and Advance Food Co.
Survivors include his parents, Donald and Corinne Francis of Enid; one brother, Jim Francis of Enid; and two sisters, Karen Delanoy of Dallas and LaDonna Francis of Oklahoma City.
Memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to Veterans Acres or American Legion.

IRENE FRIEDA SCHENCK
The funeral for Irene Frieda Schenck, 88, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Treat will officiate. Burial will be in Me-morial Park Cemetery.
She was born June 4, 1918, in Newkirk to William and Anna Hatterman Backhaus and died Friday, June 9, 2006, in Oklahoma City.
She married Clifford P. Schenck Nov. 30, 1947, in Garber. The couple made their home in Enid until 1996 when they moved to Oklahoma City. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Kathleen Howell of Edmond and Phyllis Howard of Bethany; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Clifford, she was preceded in death by two sons, two sisters and one brother.
