HELEN FLOY HUBBELL
The funeral for Helen Floy Hubbell, 93, of Helena, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Helena. The Rev. Vera Walton will officiate. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery, Helena. Arrange-ments are by Lanman Funeral Home, Helena. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m.
She was born July 24, 1913, north of Helena to William Snider and Sylva Thompson Snider and died Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at Great Plains Care Center, Helena.
She married Olen Hubbell Nov. 23, 1934, in Helena and had lived in Helena since 1934. He died in 1973.
She took in ironing and canned from her garden, later working at Hoyt’s Grocery Store and then a drug store for 25 years. She was a member of United Methodist Church, Helena.
Surviving are one son, Lewis Hubbell of Helena; one daughter, Opal Straw of Wichita, Kan.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Olen, she was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the church.

QUENTIN M. SMITH
The funeral for Quentin M. Smith, 88, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Seiling. The Rev. Pat Dougherty will officiate. Burial will be in Brumfield Cemetery, Seiling. Arrangements are by Redinger Funeral Home, Seiling.
He was born Jan. 21, 1919, in Carter to Hugh Elmo and Vallie Ellis Smith and died Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at Seiling Municipal Hospital following a period of illness.
He was raised and educated in Carter and graduated from Carter High School. He worked for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kan.
He married Alma Shepard Oct. 2, 1943, in Guthrie. He entered the Army Oct. 6, 1943, serving during World War II. He was honorably discharged April 2, 1946, at Camp Beale, Calif.
They continued to live in California where he worked as a security guard for Campbell Soup Co. in Sacramento. They later moved to El Dorado, Calif., where he worked as a carpenter and was a member of Carpenter’s Union. He left the union to be an independent carpenter, retiring in the early 1980s.
In 1982, they moved to Seiling where he did farm work for Louis and Evan K. Fuqua. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Seiling.
Surviving are his wife, Alma, of Seiling, and one sister, Viola Ward of Pampa, Texas.
He was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to First Baptist Church.

MILDRED SCHULTZ
The funeral service for Mildred Schultz, 80, will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2007, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Shorty Unruh will officiate. Burial will be in West New Hopedale Cemetery, Ringwood. There will be a time of visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She was born Dec. 4, 1926, in Turpin, OK to Jacob H. and Susie (Abrahams) Boese and died Sunday, June 3, 2007, at Golden Oaks Nursing Home, Enid.
She was raised in the Turpin community and attended and graduated from Oklahoma Bible Academy, Meno. She lived in Turpin until 1991 and moved to Liberal, KS, then to Golden Oaks Retirement Village, Enid in 1999.
She married John L. Schultz April 14, 1948, in Turpin. He passed away Jan. 3, 2001.
She attended First Baptist Church in Enid.
She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Olsen and husband Gary of Watonga, OK, and Dorene Flaming and husband Lawayne of Wylie, TX; one son, Roger Schultz and wife Linda of Collinsville, OK; four grandchildren and one sister, Linda Plett of Turpin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, one grandson Rex, one brother Henry Boese, three sisters Mary Ann Becker, Tina E. Boese and Tina H. Boese.
Memorials may be made to the Child Evangelism Fellow-ship with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home acting as custodian of the funds.

NORMA LEA MCINTYRE
A graveside service for Norma Lea McIntyre, 76, will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2007, in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, west of Meno. Rev. Don Johnson will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born Dec. 21, 1930, in Enid, OK to Earl and Irene (Lively) West and died Tues-day, June 5, 2007 at St. Mary’s Re-gional Medical Center of lung cancer and complications from radiation.
Norma was raised on a farm between Lahoma and Meno, a mile south. She attended Pleasant Valley one-room school house to the eighth grade, then attended and graduated from Lahoma High School in 1948, a class of 14 students.
Norma and Graham McIntyre were married in November 1957.
Norma was a very private lady with a great smile and great wit. Wildlife and domestic animals lose a great friend. She cared and nurtured many to good health and long life. One of her “cats” lived to be 36 years old. She was an avid reader with a library of over a 1,000 books. In younger days she loved to cook and an annual trip to Branson was a requirement since 1971.
She was employed by Southwestern Bell as a long distance operator for 27 years, receiving many awards. She then was employed at Enid State School as a switch-board operator until retirement in 1994.
She is survived by her husband Graham of the home.
Memorials may be made to the SPCA with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.

PAUL W. JANTZ
Funeral services for Paul W. Jantz will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2007, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Shorty Unruh will officiate. Burial will be in Mem-orial Park Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Paul was born April 22, 1925, in Meno, OK, to Peter and Elizabeth (Becker) Jantz and died Monday, June 4, 2007, in Enid.
He married Helen Coward July 4, 1944.
Paul served in the Occupational Army in Europe from 1944 through 1947. After returning from the service, he went back to school and received his accounting degree from Enid Business College.
He began his cooperative work in 1951 as a bookkeeper for the Farmers Cooperative Association in Meno, OK. In 1952, he was promoted to general manager of the Meno Cooperative and served in this capacity for 12 years. He then took a position as auditor with Romine and Thomas Accounting Firm, specializing in cooperative audits. In 1969, he joined Farmers Cooperative Grain Dealers Association as a field representative, was promoted to director of service in 1979 and was then promoted to general manager on May 1, 1988. During his employment he served on many agriculture related boards and committees. In 1990, he received recognition for outstanding service to Oklahoma agriculture by Oklahoma State University.
Paul was a member of the Garfield Lodge 501 and 32 Degree Scottish Rites of Free Mason, and United Church of Lahoma.
Paul is survived by his son, Rick Jantz and wife Donna of Platte City, MO; daughter, Paula Jantz of Iowa City, IA; granddaughters, Kelly Jantz of Platte City, MO and Tracey Herzog and husband Ray of Kansas City; and one great-grandson, Grant; sister, Elda Faye Fuqua of Enid; and family friend, Joyce Moore of Iowa City, IA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen, brother Marvin Jantz, and sisters, Elfreida Ensz and Erma Unruh.
Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes or donor’s choice.

HOWARD DANNAR
A memorial service for Howard Dannar, 78, will be held at a later date. He was cremated at his request. Arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home, Waynoka.
He was born June 7, 1927, to Everette Glen and Goldie Violet Waite Dannar and died Saturday, June 3, 2006, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.
He married Irene M. Huhs March 10, 1972, in Oskloosa, Kan. He worked as an independent drywall construction contractor.
Surviving are his wife, “Sam,” of Waynoka; two sons, Lynn Dannar of Topeka, Kan., and Alan Dannar of Optima; one daughter, Diana Lynn Parsel of Perry, Kan.; two brothers, Harold Dannar of Pawnee and Junior Lee Dannar of Waynoka; two sisters, Virginia Mae Lovette of Topeka and Lou Mae Rose of Austin, Texas; one halfsister, Elsie of Woodward; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alta Parker Dannar, and two brothers.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to charity of donor’s choice.

ALLAN PAGE
A family service for Allan Page, 88, formerly of Enid, was held May 26, on Maui, Hawaii. A memorial is planned for mid-July at his church in Eureka Springs, Ark. The date will be announced.
He was born June 4, 1917, in Eldorado, Kan., and died Thursday, May 18, 2006, on Maui after a brief illness.
He attended Kansas State Teachers College in Pittsburg, Kan., where he began his broadcasting career at KOAM in 1937. He worked for radio stations in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas. He produced “The Oklahoma Roundup,” a daily country-western variety show fed to the CBS radio network at KOMA in Oklahoma City. He also was color commentator for the University of Oklahoma football with sportscaster Curt Gowdy. He became manager and part owner of KGWA in Enid in 1955. He later acquired full ownership and was responsible for establishing two new stations in Oklahoma – KRPT in Anadarko and KOFM in Enid. He was a charter inductee into Oklahoma Association of Broadcaster’s (OAB) Hall of Fame and served as president of OAB and as a board member of National Association of Broadcasters.
In 1976 he was named president of the Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce. He was a recipient of numerous awards in broadcasting including the Alfred P. Sloan Award for creative writing and the Southern Baptist Radio and TV Commission Merit Award for community service. He retired in 1994 to Holiday Island, Ark. He was a lay reader at St. James Episcopal Church in Eureka Springs, Ark., and while on Maui attended St. John’s Episcopal Church in Keokea.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Page of Pago Pago, American Samoa and Lynn Pratt Tubera of Maui; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by is wife, Zolli.

DONNA K. REED
The funeral for Donna K. Reed, 54, of Caldwell, Kan., will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Caldwell. Arrangements are by Day Funeral Home and Crematory, Caldwell.
She was born Sept. 29, 1951, and died Sunday, June 4, 2006.
She was a program technician for Farm Service Agency.
Surviving are her husband, Jimmie Leighty of Caldwell; two daughters, Christy Kramer of Goddard, Kan., and Kara Mayo of Bluff City, Kan.; one sister, Ruth Nichol of Oklahoma City; and six grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or Caldwell High School Alumni Association.

PAUL NELSON
Paul Nelson, 72, passed away June 2, 2006. He was born Dec. 29, 1933, in Woodward, OK to Earl and Rebecca Nelson.
Paul grew up in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School. He attended Panhandle A&M College and graduated from Oklahoma A&M with a bachelor of science degree in agronomy in 1956. Paul ser-ved two years in the Army and five years in Oklahoma National Guard. He spent most of his adult life in Kingfisher, OK, where he worked 33 years for the USDA Soil Conservation Service. He was well known for his craftsmanship as a leather artist.
Paul gave generously of his time and energy to numerous local, state and national organizations and the Kingfisher United Methodist Church. He was especially proud of his work with the Boy Scouts of America, Future Farmers of America and the Lions Club where in addition to the local offices, he served as District Governor, State Council Chairman and was a Melvin Jones Fellow. Paul was a 32nd Degree Mason.
During retirement Paul enjoyed golf, genealogy research and travel. He continued to work part time as a conservation consultant and volunteered for the Agriculture Mediation Program.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Rebecca Nelson.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie of 20 years; daughter, Cherri Fike and husband Pat of Woodward; son, Keith Nelson and wife Tanna of Checotah; stepdaughters, Dana Stone and husband Larry of Oklahoma City, and Terri Blakley of Enid; 11 grandchildren; and his brother, Robert Nelson of Amarillo, Texas.
Services will be held at First United Methodist Church in Kingfisher, OK., today, June 6, 2006, at 1:30 p.m. Arrangements are by Sanders Funeral Service Inc., Kingfisher.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Angus Project, c/o Oklahoma Lions Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 400, Perkins, OK.
