LEO JOE HURT
The funeral for Leo Joe Hurt, 97, of Seiling will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Redinger Funeral Home Chapel. Clyde Irving and Roland Luelf, pastors, will officiate. Burial will be in Brumfield Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Redinger Funeral Home, Seiling.
He was born March 19, 1909, in the Phroso area of Major County to John A. and Antonia Marusakova Hurt and died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, at Seiling.
He attended Phroso school before moving east of Seiling, then attended school at Diamond and Seiling. He took over the operation of the family farm in 1928. He married Birdena Adams in 1932. In the mid-1960s and 1970s, they owned and operated Hurt’s Dairy Boy in Seiling. He also operated a hunting and fishing business.
Surviving are one daughter, Loretta Froling of Seiling; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Birdena, he was preceded in death by two sons, one daughter, three brothers, four sisters and two great-grandsons.

WANDA NAOMI WEAVER
A graveside service for Wanda Naomi Weaver, 88, will be 2 p.m. Monday in Brumfield Cemetery. Dennis Adair, pastor will officiate. Arrangements are by Redinger Funeral Home, Seiling.
She was born Aug. 3, 1919, in Seiling to Albert Douglas and Opal Irene Goss Weaver and died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at Carrollton, Texas.
Surviving are one daughter, June Pool, of Carrollton; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

FRANK DANIEL DANCE SR.
The funeral for Frank Daniel Dance Sr., 77, of Enid will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Alan Siebel will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cem-etery.
He was born Oct. 19, 1930, in Enid to Dewey Rudolf and Anna Teresa O’Donnell Dance and died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
He married Georgianna Litson in Enid. He served in the Air Force in Japan and Thailand.
Surviving are his wife, Georgianna of the home; one son, Frank Daniel Dance Jr. of Katy, Texas; two brothers, David Dance of Ponca City and Leo Dance of Enid; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter and one brother.

CLINTON KELLY MITCHELL
A memorial service for Clinton Kelly Mitchell, 83, of Enid will be 11 a.m. Monday in the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Kevin Ratterman will officiate.
He was born March 20, 1924, in Cherokee to Frank Finis and Marie Jenieve Scherer Mitchell and died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, at Greenbrier Nursing Home.
He graduated from St. Joseph Catholic High School and attended Oklahoma State University. During World War II, he served in the European Theater with the Air Force. He owned and operated Kelly Diamond Jewelers for many years and later worked at Jackson Jewelers. He married Judy Wheeler in September 1978 in Enid. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Judy, of the home; one daughter, Kelly Ann Brewster of Texas; one stepson, Mike Wheeler of Katy, Texas; one brother, Michael Mitchell of Enid; three sisters, Ora Lee Kruse and Mary Haselwander, both of Enid, and Lorraine Dolan of Kerrville, Texas; and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by two sons, one sister and one brother.

EDGAR W. HENDRICKS
A graveside service for Edgar W. Hendricks, 80, of Enid will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Doyle Newsom will officiate. Arrange-ments are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
He was born Jan. 6, 1928, in Magnolia City to Frank and Nettie Bradley Hendricks and died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.
He attended schools in Antlers. He began working the family farm at the start of World War II. He married Violet Mae Hughes Sept. 13, 1945, in Protection, Kan. He worked for the electric company. They moved to Enid, and he worked in the oil field until his retirement.
Surviving are his wife, Violet, of the home; three children, Edra Vaughn and Cheri McMurry, both of Enid and Haden Hendricks of Waukomis; one sister, Pauline Farrel; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and five sisters.

ELDON EUGENE PROVINE
There will be a private service for Eldon Eugene Provine, 73, of Texas. Arrangements are by All Faiths Funeral Service, North Austin, Texas.
He was born March 10, 1934, in Industry, Ill., to Carl G. and Vena M. DeWitt Provine and died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at St. David’s Hospital, Austin.
He graduated from Industry High School in 1952 and joined the Air Force in 1953, serving from 1953-1963. He was stationed at Clark Air Force Base, Philippines; Vance Air Force Base, Enid; and Randolph Air Force Base, San Antonio. He married Helen Marie Semrad Oct. 17, 1956, in Billings. They moved to Illinois in 1963. There he was employed by Caterpillar Tractor Co. and U.S. Postal Service. They returned to Oklahoma in 1970, and he entered Oklahoma State Tech in Okmulgee, earning a degree in building construction. He was a self-employed cabinet maker in Edmond before returning to civil service and retiring from Oklahoma City Veterans Administration hospital in 1991. They moved to Sun City, Texas, in March 2003.
Surviving are his wife, Helen; two sons, Jeffrey and Gregory; and four grandchildren, all of Texas.

HELEN UNRUH
Funeral services for Helen Unruh, 83-year-old Enid resident will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2008, at Enid Mennonite Brethren Church with pastor Garvie Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow at Mennonite Brethren Cemetery north of Enid. Ser-vices are under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Alzheimer’s Division with Henninger-Allen Funeral Home acting as custodians of the fund.

JAMES ‘JIM’ G. HELTERBRAKE SR.
The funeral services for James “Jim” G. Helterbrake “Hildy” Sr., 89-year-old Enid resident, will be 2 p.m. today, Jan. 19, 2008, in Oakwood Christian Church. Dr. Joe Wilson will officiate. Bryan Bishop and Len Coul-ter will assist. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery in Helena under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
James was born June 6, 1918, in Curtis, Ohio, to Orma Helterbrake and Lena Kutcher Helterbrake and died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, in St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He attended Catholic School in Oregon, Ohio, and graduated from high school in Gibsonburg, Ohio, in 1936. His father died when James was young and he began working as a truck driver and a baker. He was drafted into the U.S. Army at the outbreak of World War II. He was stationed in the Pacific Theater. He was married at Ft. Sill to Jeneva Horner in 1942. He was honorably discharged as a staff sergeant in 1945.
James returned to Ohio where he was a carpenter. He moved to Chester, OK, where he farmed and worked for Major County. In 1965, he was the nursing home administrator for Helena. On July 30, 1971, he married Winnie Krob at the First Christian Church in Helena. He worked for C.R. Anthony for 17 years, managing two stores in Oklahoma and one in Wisconsin. He retired as assistant manager in Enid. He loved to fish, boat and camp. He was also an excellent carpenter and handyman.
He is survived by his wife Winnie, of the home; four daughters, Helen Hickman and husband Henry of Vici, OK, Connie Price and husband Joe of Chester, OK, Myna Pendleton and husband Dr. Bruce of Enid, and Paula Helterbrake of Chester; two sons, Jim and wife Valerie Helterbrake Jr. of Enid, and Jeff and wife Ann Helterbrake of Chester; three stepchildren, Len Coulter and wife Vicki of Aline, OK, Loretta Coulter of Enid, and Myron Coulter and wife Debra of Aline; 26 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marcelle Hille and Blanche Schimming of Genoa, Ohio; one brother, Harv and wife Kathy, of Toledo, Ohio; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Opal; and brother, Jack.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice with Henninger-Allen Funeral Home acting as custodians of the fund.

ELDON E. COOK
Funeral services for Eldon E. Cook, age 98, of Aline, will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2008, at the Aline Christian Church with Polly Young officiating. Burial will follow at Aline Star Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena. Viewing will be 1-8 p.m. today with the family present from 6-8 p.m. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.lanman memorials.com.
Eldon E. Cook was born on December 7, 1909, at Burlington to Louis Cook and Mary Thomason Cook and passed from this life on January 18, 2008, at Greenbrier Nursing Home in Enid.
He graduated from Burlington High School in 1929. On July 12, 1931, he married Zola Marsh and five children were born to this union: Betty Jean, Paul, Polly Ann, Floyd and Doris. They farmed in the Burlington-Byron area until moving to a farm east of Aline in 1941. They retired from farming in 1982, and moved to Aline in 1999.
Eldon was active in the Aline Christian Church, Chamber of Commerce and helped in getting the Aline Senior Center started. Eldon and Zola enjoyed traveling and the highlight of their travel was driving to Alaska with two cousins in 1984. They spent the winters in south Texas for 20 years. Zola and Eldon always loved to dance. In 2002, they moved to Somerset Assisted Living Center in Enid. Eldon had resided at Greenbrier Nursing Home in Enid since November 2002.
Eldon is survived by his children, Paul Cook and wife Joan of Helena, Floyd Cook and wife, Joyce of Midwest City, Doris Booze and husband, Gary of Aline; one sister, Inez Hottle, of Purcell; seven grandchildren, Scott Cook, Shari Haivala, Shannon Fistner, Brad Booze, Karla Goodwin, Tina Case and Mark Cook; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Zola in January 2003; two daughters, Betty Jean and Polly Ann; his parents; one brother, Melvin; two sisters, Opal and Hazel; and one great-granddaughter, Abby Goodwin.
Memorials may be given to the church or the Aline Senior Center through the funeral home.

SHEILA KAY PHILLIPS
The funeral for Sheila Kay Phillips, 44, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Waynoka Church of God. Pastor John Brint will officiate. Burial will be in Waynoka Municipal Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Marshall Funeral Home, Waynoka.
She was born Dec. 4, 1963, in Ada to Bobby Joe and Ima Ruth Hunt Johnston and died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at her home.
She attended Ada schools and lived in Perkins for many years.
She married Verl Dean Phil-lips April 15, 2006, in Waynoka, where they made their home.
Surviving are her husband, Verl, of Waynoka; one son, Derrick Phillips of Waynoka; four daughters, Starla Phillips of Stillwater, Michella Cowan, Angel Johnston and Cherina Cagwin, all of Waynoka; five brothers, Bob Johnston, Michael Johnston and Kevin Ballard, all of Carney, Ernie Johnston of Alva and Joe Walker of Poteau; two sisters, Gayla Johnston of Poteau and Rhonda Watkins of Kingston; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Waynoka Church of God.

PATRICIA LOUISE RITTERHOUSE-WILLIAMSON
A graveside service for Patricia Louise Ruttman Ritterhouse-Williamson, 78, will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Dunlap Cemetery, near Mutual. Pastor James Rucker will officiate. Arrangements are by Redinger Funeral Home, Seiling.
She was born Dec. 29, 1929, in Mooreland, to George Franklin and Hattie Gertrude Peach Ruttman and died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at Woodward Regional Hospital.
She attended Quinlan school and later moved with her family to California, where she attended school. She returned to Oklahoma and attended Mutual High School.
She married George Ed-ward Ritterhouse in Woodward County. They made their home in Richmond, where she raised her family.
She married Claude Ellis Williamson Sept. 14, 1973, in Darrouzett, Texas. They made their home near Mooreland. He died Aug. 7, 1999.
She later moved to Woodward, where she was a homemaker and a member of Richmond Church and then Mutual Christian Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Carol Irwin of El Reno and Susan Phillips of Woodward; two sons, Eddie Ritterhouse of Edmond and Marty Ritterhouse of Woodward; three sisters, Ruth Blumer, Venita Slay and Susie Kline, all of Woodward; two brothers, Wayne Ruttman of Woodward and Jay Ruttman of Mooreland; one stepdaughter, Kathleen Roach of Woodward; two stepsons, Stanley Williamson of Tulsa and Charles Williamson of Albuquerque, N.M.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and nine stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, George and Claude, and two brothers.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Dunlap Cemetery Fund.
