JEAN LOUISE DAWSON
December 22, 2000 - Jean Louise Dawson, 73, married Ralph S. Dawson in Bend, Oregon. They have been long-time residents of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, where Jean was a homemaker and mother.
Survivors include: her husband, Ralph, of the home in Pawhuska; two daughters, Sharon Kay Birdwell of Beaver, Oklahoma and Deborah Sue Neel of Pawhuska; two sons, Michael John Dawson and Herbert Kevin Dawson, both of Pawhuska; one brother, John C. Allen of Seattle, Washington; twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
No services are planned.

CHARLES A. TRAMMEL
December 10, 2000 - Charles A. Trammel, 50, passed away at his home December 3, 2000.
Rosary will be recited at the Cunningham family home in Indian Camp, Pawhuska, at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 5, and Traditional Indian services will be held at 8:00 a.m., Wednesday, with Mongrain Lookout officiating.
Sonny was born in Pawhuska on April 5, 1937, the son of Henry and Lillie (Bighorse) Cunningham.
He attended Pawhuska schools, was a member of the Osage Tribe of Indians, a life-long member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was employed as the CHR Director at the Osage Indian Agency for over twenty years.
Sonny served as a thirty year member of the Five Man Board at the Pawhuska Indian Village, was a member of the Pawhuska War Dance Committee, former Drum Keeper and Advisor to the War Dance Committee. He believed in the Indian Tradition and kept his home open to many families through the years.
Survivors include a brother, Fred Cunningham of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; three sisters, Catherine Wilson and Marion Cass, both of Pawhuska, Addie Walker of Bartlesville and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Sonny was predeceased by two brothers, Alvin “Jack” Cunningham and Milton Cunningham; and two sisters, Tennessee Cunningham and Mae Worthington.
Sonny will lie in state at the Cunningham family home in Indian Camp until service time, 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 6, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pawhuska with Father Leonard Higgisn officiating. died Friday, November 3, at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, November 6, at the First Assembly of God Church in Barnsdall with Pastor Phillip Clements and Don Clements officiating. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home, Barnsdall.
A memorial has been established and those who wish to make a contribution in memory of Mr. Clements may do so to: Bluestem Regional Medical Development Foundation, 3500 S.E. Frank Phillips Blvd., Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74006.
Mr. Clements was born march 21, 1930 at Maud, Oklahoma to George W. and Nona (Redwine) Clements and was raised and educated in the Maud area, graduating high school at Concord, California in 1947.
He was employed on a horse ranch for a time and then was employed with Shell Oil Company for six years. He enrolled in college at Wichita, Kansas, studying criminal justice. He served as a police officer in Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Wichita, Kansas, Los Angeles, California and Redondo Beach California; and in later years was employed as a salesman and moved to Barnsdall in 1994.
Mr. Clements is survived by his mother, Nona Clements of Barnsdall; two daughters, Connie Puckett of Brighton, Tennessee, and Leesa Rains of Memphis, Tennessee; five brothers, Ken Clements of Marysville, California; Charles Clements of LaGrange, Georgia; Don Clements of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and David Clements and Phil Clements both of Barnsdall; one sister, Violet Blevins of Lubbock, Texas; one grandson, David Rains of Memphis, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.
HAROLD LEE THOMAS
November 4, 2000 – Mr. Harold Lee Thomas, 64, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Bartlesville, under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home.
Casket escorts will include Paul Cox, Paul Posch, Bob Peck, Tom Iglehart, Chuck Ellis and Walter Ridinger.

Mr. Thomas was born June 20, 1936 at Valentine, Nebraska, where he grew up and received his education before entering the U.S. Air Force in 1954. He was passed away in her home, Sunday, October 29, following an extended illness.
Ruby was born May 5, 1920, in Osage County, Oklahoma to Charles A. and Ellie (Maxwell) Cass and Interment was in the Riverside Cemetery and Ralston, Oklahoma with Johnson Funeral Director’s in charge of arrangements.

October 26, 2000 – Former resident of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, Randy Lee Carey, 52, passed away Sunday, October 22, in the Cleveland (Oklahoma) Area Hospital.
Mrs. Franklin was born May 25, 1908 in Cartersville, Oklahoma, the daughter of George W. and Mary J. (Davis) Sumner and died March 16, 1961, and on November 14, 1967, Rosa Interment will be in the Bixby, Oklahoma Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Directors.
FANNY LOU SNIVELY
October 19, 2000 - Funeral services for Fanny Lou Snively, 63, lifelong resident of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Father Leonard Higgins of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church officiating.
Fanny was born September 24, 1937, in Pawhuska, the daughter of William Franklin and Ruby Lucille (Reed) Moore, Sr. and married August 23, 1955, in Cheyenne, Wyoming and made their home in Pawhuska.
Fanny was the City Utilities Manager for the City of Pawhuska until ill health forced her to retire in November of 1998. She devoted her spare time to her family.
Survivors in addition to her husband, Jim, of the home in Pawhuska are: two sons and daughters-in-law, James W. "Jimbo" and Leslie Snively III of Pawhuska, and John and Molly Snively of Skiatook, Oklahoma; three brothers and sisters-in-law: W.. "Bill" and Barbara Moore, Jr., of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Robert and Teresa Moore of Pawhuska; and George F. and Glenda Moore of Grapevine, Texas; four grand children: Amy and Amanda Snively of Skiatook and Thad and Luke Ikenberry of Pawhuska, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Burial will be in the Pawhuska City Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Directors.
OLLIE SUSAN WORKMON RIDER
October 17, 2000 - Ollie Rider, 101, former resident of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, and mother of Academy Award winner, Ben Johnson, Jr., married Fredie Fay Rider September 4, 1940 in Olathe, Kansas. He preceded her in death May 16, 1970.
Survivors include two grandsons; Ben Miller of Queen Creek, Arizona and John Miller and wife, Barbara of Cave Creek, Arizona; a granddaughter, Ann Whitehorn and husband, Doug of Pawhuska; nine great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; and a special friend, Gertie Epps.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Rider was predeceased by two brothers, two sisters, a daughter, Mary Ann Miller, a son, Ben (Son) Johnson, Jr., and his wife, Carol and a great-great granddaughter, Madison Miller.
Services will be held Friday, October 20, at 2:00 p.m. in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Pawhuska with Jon Tucker officiating.

Survivors are: his mother, Kellie Mathes Hooper of Midwest City, Oklahoma; his grandmother, Dee Mathes of the home; a brother John Lindy Hooper and a sister Korie Jo Hooper, both of Midwest City; an aunt, Sandy Mathes Ray of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; an uncle, Bill Mathes, Jr., of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; two great aunts, Katherine Adkisson of Tulsa and Thelma Tucker of Bartlesville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Rosary service will be at 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 13, in the Mathes home, 2113 Bobo Avenue, Pawhuska.

RUBY LUCILLE MOORE
October 11, 2000 - Ruby Lucille Moore, 89, married W.F. "Frank" Moore in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death April 3, 1985.
A pioneer telephone operator, housewife and avid fisherwoman, Lucille was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Pythian Sisters.
Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law, Fanny and Jim Snively, Jr. of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; three sons and daughters-in-law, W.F. "Bill" and Barbara Moore, Jr., of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Robert H. and Teresa Moore of Pawhuska; George E. and Glenda Moore of Grapevine, Texas; a brother, L.R. "Tope" Reed of Wakita, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Tommy was born May 26, 1919 in Stoneville, North Carolina to Thomas Jackson and Lottie (Snead) Hill. October 11, 2000 - Brandi Branch, 20, passed away Friday, October 6, in Jane Phillips Medical Center, Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Nina was born November 7, 1908 in Hassan Township, Minnesota, the daughter of William R. and Effie (White) Hawkins.
She and George C. Grant were Interment was in the Pawhuska City Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Directors.

RUIE EVELYN WALLET
September 28, 2000 – Ruie Evelyn Wallet, 87, longtime Pawhuska, Oklahoma, resident married Lavon H. Wallet in Yuma, Arizona and they moved to Brawley, California where he was in the construction business. In 1976, the Wallets returned to Pawhuska to make their home. Lavon preceded her in death on March 20, 1985.
Ruie was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Pawhuska.
Surviving are: a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Tim Hartness of Pawhuska; a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Sharon Talbot of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two step-daughters, Annette Horn of Pawhuska and Betty Turner of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; a sister, Frances Paolucci of Tulsa, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Ruie was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Louie Howard, J.D. Howard and Robert Howard; and a sister, Anna Mae Howard.
Graveside services were held Thursday, September 28, in the Pawhuska City Cemetery with Dr. Larry Wallace officiating under the direction of Johnson Funeral Directors.
STELLA MAE DILLEY
September 28, 2000 – Stella Mae Dilley, 71, longtime resident of Wynona, Oklahoma, married Shireld Dilley in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
She was the owner/waitress of Stella’s Drive-In in Wynona for many years. She was a member of the Antioch Christian Fellowship Church in Wynona.
Survivors in addition to her husband, Shireld of the home in Wynona are: a son, Rick Dilley of Wynona; two daughters, Brenda Lott of Wynona and Melva Rowe of Wagoner, Oklahoma; a brother, Earl Garrison and two sisters, Dee Collins and Pat Hurd, all of Wynona; eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Linda Kay Thomas; four brothers, Lee Garrison, Leman Garrison, Amos Garrison and Raymond Garrison; and a sister, Lola Hurd.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, September 27, in the Pawhuska City Cemetery with Reverend Raymond Collins officiating under the direction of Johnson Funeral Directors.
JAMES THOMAS CLEM, SR.
September 20, 2000 – Mr. James Thomas Clem, Sr., 73, resident of Barnsdall, Oklahoma, interment will be under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home-Barnsdall.
Mr. Clem was born February 26, 1927 at Barnsdall to James Andrew and Emma Dean (Hayes) Clem. He was raised and received his education in Barnsdall and entered the U.S. Army on April 17, 1945 and was honorably discharged December 12, 1945. He reenlisted on the following December 13, 1945 and was again honorably discharged January 12, 1947.
Following his military services Mr. Clem returned to Barnsdall and completed his high school education, graduating in 1947.
He was passed away Friday, September 15, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident east of SH 99 on Nelagoney Road, east of Pawhuska.
Malena was born June 12, 1979, to Paul E. and Cheryl R. (Hill) Yates, Jr., in Lawton, Oklahoma.
She was an Intake Specialist for the Osage Nation Tribal TANIF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Indian Families) program.
Surviving are: her parents, Paul E. Yates, Jr., of Pawhuska, and Cheryl R. Yates of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her sister, Alicia Marie Yates and her paternal grandmother, Eva Yates both of Pawhuska; her maternal grandmother, Freda Mitchell of Sacramento, California; her maternal step-grandmother, Gwen Hill of Sisseton, South Dakota; aunts and uncles, Everett and Marian Waller of Hominy, Oklahoma; James and Shelley Yates of Nelagoney, Oklahoma; Deborah Hair of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Barbara Dale of Pawhuska; Richard A. Hill of Dallas, Texas; Luana R. Hill and Kenton M. Johnson, both of Sacramento; Darold J. Hill, Alan Morrefette, and Kenny Morrefette, all of Sisseton, South Dakota; Harold Hill of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Iris Hill of Eagle Butte, South Dakota; Mary Lou Good Teacher, Harold Dean Hill and Barbara Hill, all of Aberdeen, South Dakota, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Terry was born March 27, 1948 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of Quintin Leonard and Olga (Gaspard) Sowards. She died at 3:00 a.m., Monday, September 11, 2000, at the Jane Phillips Geriatrics facility.
Mrs. Perrier was born December 4, 1909 near Avant in Osage County, Oklahoma and died Monday, September 11, in the Grace Home in Shreveport, Louisiana, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Graveside services for Pete will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday on the family plot in White Rose Cemetery, Bartlesville, under the direction of Neekamp Funeral Home.
Honorary casket bearers will include Don Lunsford, Richard Lehman, Rick Henton, Randy Henton, Craig Popkess and Phillip Zehren.
Friends who wish to pay their respects are welcome to sign the register at the Neekamp Funeral Home as the casket is to remain closed.

Pete was born in Wynona, Oklahoma, June 1, 1931, the daughter of Richard Macklin and Pearl (Blackwell) Henton. She attended schools in Osage and Washington Counties and began her thirty-year career with Phillips Petroleum Company in 1956, retiring in 1986.
Following her retirement, she made her home in Florida and Texas and had been residing in Shreveport the past two and one-half months.
Pete had been an active member of the Jane Phillips Sorority, involved in numerous community activities, including coaching a women’s basketball team.
While her children were small, she was involved in many areas of their activities, including working the concessions during Pony League games.
Pete is survived by her daughter, Linda Carbone of Shreveport; two sons, Robert W. “Bob” Lowrey of Tucson, Arizona and John Jacob “Jake” Lowrey of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren, Katie Anne Jeter of Shreveport, Jennifer Anne Isaac of Ceres, California, Jason Lowrey of Norman, Oklahoma and Jordan Lowrey and Jacob Lowrey both of Oklahoma City; three great-grandsons, Joshua George Dillard, Jonahtan Sawyer Dillard and Michael Halley Isaac, III; two sisters, Lis Murphy of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and Mary Nichols of Stillwater, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, George Walter Lowrey; two brothers, Joe Henton and Walter Henton; and a ssister, Martha Lunsford.
Pete was the best grandmother and great-grandmother in the world, lovingly known by her great-grandsons as “Big Gooda”.
She was a good friend and was very giving of herself, and will always be remembered for her jokes and contagious laughter.
TOMMY L. RISCHARD
September 13, 2000 - Mr. Tommy L. Rischard, 59, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, interment are under the direction of Neekamp Funeral Home of Bartlesville.
Mr. Rischard was born August 22, 1941, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He received his schooling in Tulsa, graduating from East Central High School. He continued his education at Oklahoma City University and later played baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals farm club.
Mr. Rischard moved to Bartlesville in 1970 where he was active in automobile sales, coached the Washington County Boxing Team and was active with the Boys Club
He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Rischard is survived by two sons, Jason Rischard and Matt Rischard, both of Bartlesville, and two grandchildren, Matthew James Rischard and Jaycee Dawn Rischard.
