KONAWA — Services for Karl E. Raper, 70, Konawa, are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Konawa Church of Christ, Richard Winters officiating.
Mr. Raper died Aug. 8, 2005, at an Ada hospital. He was born Dec. 22, 1934, at Konawa, to Clarence Raper and Mae Walker Raper. He married Carolyn Jolly Jan. 20, 1963, at Chandler. He was a lifelong farmer and rancher, and was also an oilwell pumper.
Mr. Raper served in the U.S. Army, where he was stationed in Germany. He graduated from Oklahoma A&M, Stillwater, with a degree in agronomy, he was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, a former member of the Seminole County Fair Board and the Oklahoma State Fair Board, a former member of the Konawa School Board and the Oklahoma State School Board and a member of the Soil Conservation Board and DAV.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Harold Raper, June 2, 2005; and two sisters, Sue Ellen Raper and an infant sister.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Raper, of the home; two daughters, Camille Ellen Howard and husband Richard, Ada, and Gayla Ann Barrick and husband Damon, Ponca City; one son, Blake Edward Raper and wife Kellie, Leslie, Mich.; one sister, Cheryl Akin and husband Gary, Moore; seven grandchildren, Reese Howard, Cayden Howard, both of Ada, Kyle Barrick, Gage Barrick, Riley Barrick, all of Ponca City, Brendan Raper and Kaylyn Raper, Leslie, Mich.; two uncles, T.E. Rapier, Edmond, and Don Rapier, O’Fallon, Ill.; and numerous family and friends.

Burial follows at Carpitcher Family Cemetery. Wake services will be 6 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Chapel, and at Seminole Baptist Church Friday evening.
Mr. Carpitcher was born May 23, 1925, at Sasakwa, to Weitna Weitna Carpitcher and Lilly Davis Carpitcher. He died Sept. 20, 2005, at home.
He married Winnie Mae Harjo in 1942. He was baptized by Walter Morgan at Birdcreek Indian Baptist Church. He and his brother and uncles built the first ball diamond at the Mekusukey Mission. He worked in the oil fields and as a laborer, and had his own engine shop.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert Carpitcher, Freeland Carpitcher, Eunah Carpitcher and Joe Carpitcher; and two sisters, Sally Martin and Katy Cass.
Survivors include one son, W.W. Jimmy Carpitcher and wife Maxine, Sasakwa; three daughters, Jackie Kernel, Ada, Julia Isaac, Madill, and JoAnna Carpitcher, Byng; one sister, Virginia Cosar, Konawa; 15 grandchildren, Rhonda, Charlie, Rhoda, Angie, Deanna, Weitna, Jonnie, Jonell, Jon Jr., Travis, Janice, Timothy, Michael, Marques and Mario; 28 great-grandchildren, Ateesha, William, Tashina, Winterstar, Winterdawn, Destiny, Alexander, Rhiannon, Zaniel, Cynda Ann, Monique, LeAnn, Danielle, Amanda, Jessica, Thomas, Olivia, Kennedy, Kelsey, Kanada, Kenyon, Sierra, Grace, Aleah, Jonathan, Zachery, Johnsey, Emilee and Joseph; and many nieces, nephews, and relatives.

LIVE OAK SPRINGS RESORT, Calif. — Graveside services for Lloyd H. Bolin Sr., 83, Live Oak Springs Resort, were Sept. 9, 2005, in El Centro, Calif.
Mr. Bolin died Sept. 1, 2005. He was born March 30, 1922, at Healdton, Okla. He lived in the Ada, Okla., area for many years. He married Billie Van Buskirk Oct. 13, 1945, at Sulphur, Okla. They moved to Holtville, Calif., in 1957. Mr. Bolin worked as a heavy equipment operator at Imperial Valley until he retired in 1980.
Survivors include his wife, Billie; two sons, Harold Bolin and wife Jennifer, El Centro, and Gary Bolin, Columbia Falls, Mont.; three grandsons, Steven Bolin, Denver, Colo., Brent Bolin, El Centro, and Michael Bolin, College Station, Texas; two granddaughters; Michelle Jorgensen and Elizabeth Christianson, both of Missoula, Mont.; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Green died Sept. 18, 2005, at a local hospital. She was born Oct. 28, 1935.
She was a native of Oklahoma. She worked as a manager for the Credit Bureau of Stanislans County for 35 years. She was also a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Nathan Green, Riverbank; three children, Karen Green, Modesto, Natha Snow, Montana, and Steven Green, Riverbank; two sisters, Mildred Clinton, Oklahoma, and LaWanda Snyder, New Mexico; three brothers, Billy Joe Young, Fresno, Elmer Lee Young and Riley Young, both of Oklahoma; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Walked died Sept. 19, 2005, at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born Aug. 6, 1934, at Ada, to Oscar Walker and Perleedia Britt Walker.
He attended Ada schools and graduated from East Central University in 1979, and also graduated from Murray State College with studies in gunsmithing. At that time, he was the oldest college graduate in Oklahoma history. He was Commanding Officer of the U. S. Navy Sea Cadet League from 1982-1984. He worked at Byng schools from 1972-1991, retiring in 1991 as a teacher. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of A.R.R.L. Amateur Radio Operators, Oklahoma Education Association, Pontotoc County Retired Teachers Association, National Rifle Association and T. S. A. He retired from the U. S. Navy as a YN1 after serving 20 years, serving in Vietnam and Korea, and was a member of the Fleet Reserve.
He married Tommie Abbott in January of 1971 in Ada.
Survivors include his wife, Tommie, of the home; five sons, Wyndell L. Walker Jr., Oklahoma City, Mike Canada, Eddie Canada, both of Byng, Ross Galemore, Midwest City, and Keith Walker, Modesto, Calif.; five daughters, Cindy Galemore, Woodward, Wynell Thomas, Ukiah, Calif., Brenda Walker, Linda Walker, both of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Wynelda Jo Woodward, Fort McCoy, Fla.; two sisters, Jackee Bolin, Tulsa, and Merle Ann Knight, Tahlequah; seventeen grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and adopted grandchildren.
