Vincent Lee Barnett, 41, Seminole, resident died Friday, July 4, 2014 in Seminole, Okla.
He was born Oct. 11, 1972 in Talihina, Okla. to Mary Sue (Ben) and Clifford Lee Barnett.
He moved back to the Seminole area in 2009. He attended and graduated from Latta High School in 1990.
He is survived by his parents, Clifford and Mary Sue Barnett of Seminole, Okla., four daughters, Megan Waddle Cox of Warrensburg, Mo., Nora L. Barnett, Mychal E. Barnett and Alexis Owings all of Shawnee, Okla.; one sister, Melanie Barnett of Opelousas, La.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martha Cole Billy, Madeline Harjo Harrison, and Babe and Josie Harjo.
Wake services will be held Monday, July 7, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa, Okla. with burial at the Harjo Family Cemetery. Rev. Faren Coody and Brother Frank Moppin will officiate at the service.
Casket bearers will be Chris Jones, Justin Hooper, Oscar Carpitche, Mark Lena Robert Jay Taylor, and Rashad McGilbert.
Honorary bearers will be Ronnie EagleRoad, Josh Puntka, Dalton Branch, Rick Walker, Gerald Harjo, Billy Archer, Michael Owings, Rick Barnoskie and Mike Porter.

Margaret Bartholomew
Margaret Pearl Bartholomew, 81 passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014 in Holdenville, Okla.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2014 at New Life Church in Wewoka. Pastor Tom Azlin will officiate.
Honorary bearers will be Jack Emmerson, Harvey Holliman, Paul Cain, and Kevin Cain.
Margaret was born Nov. 27, 1932 in Atwood, Okla. to Rosco and Alta Rowsey Abercrombie.
Margaret was a member of the Holdenville Arts Society, Oklahoma City Sewing Club, and retired from working at Southwestern Bell Telephone.
She loved to quilt and garden.
More than anything she loved all her grandchildren and spending time with them.
She was a very active person and enjoyed living life.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her son, Dane Ford and wife Laura of Holdenville; step-sons, James Bartholomew and Larry Batholomew of Texas; grandchildren, Micah and Christopher Cheatwood of Holdenville, Lainey Ford of Holdenville, Dustin Ford of Holdenville, Tori Grace Ford of Holdenville, Jeff Bartholomew, Ryan Bartholomew, Justin Bartholomew, Bailey Bartholomew, and Steven Bartholomew all of Texas; and great-grandson, Case Cheatwood; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Services are under the direction of Hudson Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville.
Ruby Bemo
Ruby Jewell Bemo, 88, longtime Seminole resident died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla.
She was born Sept. 13, 1925 to Mamie (Beasley) and William Alvin Arthur in Cove, Ark.
She was a Home-Health Care provider for most of her working career.
She is survived by her two sons, Jimmy Jordan of Arkansas and Delton Brock of Seminole, and her daughter, Norma Benedict of Yukon, Okla.; a brother, Frank Arthur of Texas; a sister, Katy West of McAlester, Okla.; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Dorothy Loving; and a son, Haskell Brock.
Funeral services are planned for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce Benson officiating and assisted by Rev. Brandon Smith. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery.
Casket bearers are Glenn Joseph Benedict, Jacob Hitchcock, Haskell Brock Jr., Vann Brock, Jerry Brock, Glenn Edward Benedict and Dale Brock.

Bobbie Berry
Bobbie Jean (Woodberry) Berry, long time Seminole resident, passed into eternal life on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014 at her home, she was 78 years old.
Bobbie was born on January 23, 1936 in Blossom, Tex. to Lem and Eliza (Bell) Woodberry.
Bobbie was a homemaker and mother to her children.
She was a member of the Church of God in Christ.
Bobbie leaves to cherish her memory, 3 sons, James Woodberry of Seminole, Okla., Joe Woodberry of Kans., and Eddie Berry of Shawnee, Okla.; 6 daughters, Jean Lee of Seminole, Okla., June Berry of Tenn., Joyce Berry of Seminole, Okla., Janell Harris of Tenn., Janett Berry of Shawnee, Okla. and Jane Ayers of Tulsa, Okla.; 1 brother, Samuel Woodberry of Wichita, Kansas; 13 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren as well as many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elder Elmer Berry; 2 brothers, John and Jay Woodberry; and grandchild, Steven Berry.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home chapel with Rev. John Berry officiating.
Burial will be at Little Cemetery, Little, Okla.
Pallbearers are Tim Hunt, Tyrone Henderson, Michael Island, Eddie Berry, Joe Woodberry and Richard Watts.
Wanda Biggs
Wanda Jo Biggs, was born March 14, 1938 to A.G. and Josie (Wyatt) Gonyer of Sasakwa, Okla.
She grew up in Sasakwa and attended Sasakwa Schools where she graduated in the class of 1956.
She married Robert Jack (Biggs) on July 21, 1956.
They welcomed into the world their first daughter on Jan. 4, 1959, twin daughters on Aug. 19, 1960, and their fourth daughter on Feb. 2, 1966.
Wanda was employed at the State Capitol in Oklahoma City as a secretary, from there she was employed by the Ammunition Depot in McAlester as a secretary, and later worked as the cafeteria manager at Sasakwa Schools, and prepared taxes part time as well until 1983, when she became a full time self-employed tax preparer until April 15, 2014.
Wanda died peacefully the morning of Sept. 3, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Preceding Wanda in death are her parents; daughters, Linda Gay Biggs Vantassel and Glenda Faye Biggs.
Survivors include husband, Robert Jack (Bob) Biggs of 58 years; sisters, Judy Harris, and Anita Gonyer; daughters, Terri Ann and husband, Andrew Hoffman, Paula Marie and husband, Bobby Lambert; grandsons, Joshua and Jesse Vantassel, Cody Blevens, Justin Brock; granddaughters, Arissa Coody, Kelli Lopez, Ann Dee Weatherington, Miquel Cullop; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 at Sasakwa High School Auditorium with Pastor Wesley Martin officiating and burial at Oakwood Cemetery

Raymond Billings
Former resident of Seminole passed away April 21, 2014 in Shawnee, Okla. at the age of 83 years old.
Raymond was born July 24, 1930 to Elmer and Lela (Gentry) Billings in Bowlegs, Okla.
He attended Bowlegs Schools and entered the United States Army in 1950.
After his discharge from the military, he moved to Ponca City, Okla. where he worked as a journeyman electrician for the Local 444 until retirement in 1985.
Raymond loved to hunt and fish, coon hunting was a passion for him, and he loved to hear the bark of his Walker hounds.
OU had no greater fan than Ray.
He was a member of the Bowlegs Assembly of God church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Lela Gentry; his brothers, Ralph and Daniel Billings; sisters, Geraldine Billings Johnson and Wilma Fern Billings Boyington; two nephews; and one niece.
He is survived by the mother of his oldest children Dixie Billings of Floresville, Tex.; and the mother of his youngest children, DeLana Billings-Wilbourn of Shawnee, Okla.
He is survived by one daughter, Sheyrl Slawson and husband, Fred of Floresville, Tex.; five sons, Dennis Billings and wife, Jeannette Billilngs of Glencoe, Okla., Mark Billings and wife, Ericka of Ypsilanti, Mich., Thomas Billings and wife, Skye of Shawnee, Okla. Nathan Billings of Shawnee, and Devon Billings and wife, Emily of Waxahachie, Tex.
He is survived by twelve grandchildren, Matthew Billings and wife, Heather of Stillwater, Okla., Amy Kliner and husband, Jake of Ponca City, Okla., Audrey Billings of Ponca City, Okla., Shawna Edmiston and husband, Jason of Ruston, La., Fred Ryan Slawson and wife, Rachel of Syria, Ariz., Jessica Slawson of San Antoine, Tex., Angela and Elana Billings of Seminole, Okla., Cullen Rankin of Shawnee, Andrew, Chase and Allison Billings of Ypsilanti, Mich.; four great grandchildren, Levi Edmiston, Olivia Kliner and Hunter and Collin Billings; and the staff of Colonial Estate Nursing home and Heartland Hospice.
Memorial service will be Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 11 a.m. in Meeker, Okla. at Living Waters Pentecostal Church of God. Rev. Darrell Witten and Rev. Donna Morton will be officiating.

Judy Bivens
Judy Ann Bivens passed away Monday, Oct. 27th, 2014 at her home in Wewoka surrounded by her daughter and grandchildren.
She was born Jan. 15th, 1947 in Altus, Okla. and later became the cherished daughter of O.C. "Tutt" and Eadith Cummings Tilley.
Judy graduated from Wewoka High School and was the National Guard Queen of 1965 and married Ronald Kent, with whom she had her daughter.
Judy later married Robert Bivens and they were married for 34 years.
Together they owned and operated their painting business and insurance business for many years before retiring to Wewoka.
Judy loved spending time with her grand and great grandchildren, she loved the outdoors, long country drives, crocheting and working in her garden making fall foliage decorations and Judy loved Jesus with all her heart.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Bivens, and brother; Michael Tilley.
She is survived by her daughter; Tricia Ann Bivens of Apache, Okla., sister Carol Sue Smith of Oklahoma City, grandchildren; Jamie Dawn Bussell, Cassandra Glenn Kidd, Jennifer Elaine Taylor, Stephen Ellijah Lee Bivens, and Dakota Wayne Bivens, 9 great grandchildren, nephews; Jason Tilley, and Owen C. Tilley, numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00p.m. Monday November 3, 2014 at New Life Church in Wewoka with Pastor Tommy Azlin and Pastor Bruce Benson officiating, Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Wewoka.
Pallbearers are Stephen E. Bivens, John Kidd, Kasey Bussell, Dakota Bivens, Ronnie Bivens and Cody Bivens.
Honorary bearers are Andy Crockett, John Moore, and Trent Garrett.

Robert Bivens
Robert Lee Bivens passed away Sunday, Oct. 5th, 2014 at his home in Wewoka, Okla.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday Oct. 9, 2014 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel and interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Benson officiating.
A pot luck dinner will be held after the service at the Wewoka Civic Center.
Robert was born June 9, 1944 in Richmond, Calif. to Lee and Mildred Louise Randalls Bivens Bean.
He graduated Richmond High school and later attended College for two years.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy in Vietnam with the rank ADJ2 E-5 as an aircraft mechanic. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
After his honorable discharge, he sold insurance for over 10 years and later owned his own insurance agency and then became a painting contractor for over 20 years.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Donna Bivens and Tammy Bivens; sisters, Sandy Bean and Susan Bivens.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Judy Bivens of the home; daughters, Michelle Johnston of Showlow Ariz., LeAnn Zalewski of Buena Park, Calif., Deann Davis of Lawrenceville Ga., and Tricia Ann Bivens of Apache, Okla., numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; brothers, Paul Bean of Oklahoma City, Ronald Bivens of Oklahoma City; sister, Joyce Detrick of Tulsa and Linda Volt of Oklahoma City; and other relatives and friends.
