Memorial services for Richard Jody Butts, 75 will be at 10 a.m. Saturday Feb. 15, 2014 at God's Covenant Church in Kingfisher officiated by Wendell Prim. Cremation arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home in Hennessey.
Richard was born at Crockett, Tex. on Oct. 26, 1938 to John and Florence Collins Butts and died Saturday Feb. 1, 2014 at Hennessey Care Center.
He is survived by two daughters, Deborah Wallace and husband Lonnie of Dover, Starla Schroeder; one son, Richard Lee Butts and wife Rotchel all of Kingfisher; eleven grandchildren, Hennessey Wallace, Patrick Wallace, Les Ciancio, Brandon Ciancio, Christina Ciancio, Tony Ciancio, Kayla Tynes, Desirae Rodriguez, Shelby Butts, Courtney Butts, Nina Ambeayec; two special nieces Linda McCulley, Bobbie Herrera and seven great-grandchildren.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Carol Byrd
Carol Denise Morgan Byrd went to be with the Lord on May 7, 2014.
Denise was born on Dec. 18, 1959, in Wewoka, Okla., to the two most loving parents in the world, Bob and Ladean Morgan.
Two years later, she was blessed with the birth of her lifelong best friend, her brother, Mike.
Denise graduated from Wewoka High School in 1978.
On May 25, 1978, she married her sweetheart and the love of her life, Tommy Ray Byrd.
During her lifetime, Denise spent many hours serving and loving the Lord.
From childhood to adult, she has spent many of her days going to church, church camps, assisting with the bus ministry with her great grandparents, Ann and Dallas Parker, ladies trips and church retreats.
Throughout her 54 years of life, Denise accomplished many wonderful things.
She enjoyed a loving 35-year marriage which produced two beautiful daughters, Ashlee and Emilee, whom meant the world to her.
Denise earned her Associate of Science degree in Business Management from Seminole Junior College in 1991.
She then attended East Central University, graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management.
Graduating college with two young children was always one of her biggest goals and greatest accomplishments.
Denise met many people along the way, but she never met a stranger.
She had many great friends in her life and has inspired many people with her positive personality.
More than anything, Denise loved the Lord and her family, and she knew she was truly blessed.
She was a blessing to others as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend.
Denise was preceded in death by her beloved father, Major General Robert "Bob" Morgan; maternal grandparents, Dallas and Ann Parker, and her paternal grandparents, Rev. John and Mary Morgan.
She is survived by her loving husband, Tom Byrd of Earlsboro; daughter and son-in-law Ashlee and Kevin Alford of Broken Bow, Okla.; daughter Emilee Byrd of Earlsboro; mother Ladean Morgan of Wewoka; brother Mike Morgan and Cindy Hershberger and his two children John Robert Morgan and Kristin Morgan of Wichita, Kans.; many other extended family and numerous friends.
Denise left a single line she wanted everyone to know: She loved and was loved.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 at Wewoka Church of Christ with Dwight Parker and Aaron Alsbrook officiating and burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
Edna Cagle
Edna Mae (Merchant) Cagle, longtime Seminole resident, entered Heaven’s gates Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014; she enjoyed 88 years.
Edna was born Dec. 15, 1925 in Fort Smith, Ark. to Jake Grady and Thelma (King) Merchant.
On July 14, 1946 she married Tony Cagle, Sr. in Oklahoma, he entered Heaven’s gates on Sept., 2, 2008.
Edna received an Associate’s degree from Eastern Oklahoma A&M.
She retired from Seminole County Department of Human Services after working there for many years.
She was a member of the congregational Methodist Church and while she was able to attend, she was the church pianist and adult Sunday school teacher.
She was a Bible scholar, she loved looking up scriptures referenced in sermons then applying them to her life.
She was also an avid bird watcher.
Known as "Mimi" to all her grandchildren, even in her last days, that term brought joy and brightness to her face when she heard it.
Edna leaves to cherish her memory, one son and daughter-in-law, Tony Cagle, Jr and Nancy of Shawnee, Okla.; one daughter and son-in-law, Cyndy Johnson and Lewis of Wewoka, Okla.; five grandchildren, Amy Roberts and her husband Corey, Brandy Wilson and her husband Greg, Tony Cagle III, Shawna Hatter and her husband Matthew and Kimberly Almeida and her husband Henrique; nine great grandchildren, Logan Roberts, Connor Roberts, Hallie Wilson, Mason Wilson, Adysyn Cagle, Annleigh Cagle, Blake Hatter, Brennon Hatter and Lynli Claire Almeida, as well as other dear family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 62 years, Tony Cagle, Sr., and her only sibling, a sister, Dorris Ann Reed.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, Nov. 21, 2014 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Okla. with Darrell Witten, chaplain of Heartland Hospice officiating.
Burial will follow at Little Cemetery just north of Seminole, Okla.
An open casket visitation will take place until just prior to funeral services on Friday morning, after which the casket will be closed and remain so.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Wewoka Nursing Center and Heartland Hospice for the exceptional and loving care of their mother and grandmother.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Okla.
James Cagle
James E. Cagle was born in Wewoka, Okla. Sept. 3, 1934.
He died June 14, 2014 at the age of 79.
His children are Blanca Cagle of Holdenville, Okla.; Faye Avery of Skiatook, Okla.; Jay Cagle of Moore, Okla.; Jeannie Matheny of Grapevine, Tex.; and Jeanette Peerson of Rogers, Ark.; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
He will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka on June 26, 2014 at 11 a.m.
Edwin Campbell
Edwin "Keith" Campbell, age 52 and a resident of Konawa, Okla. passed away on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014 at his home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014 at Vamoosa Baptist Church.
Rev. Bruce Sanders and Rev. Kevin Duck will officiate. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Colton Campbell, Jeff Morris, Johnnie Campbell, Rick Pemberton, Don Nielsen, and Alan Campbell.
Honorary Pallbearers are Paul Brown, Rick Haur, Bobby Hartsock, Jeffery Campbell, and James Campbell.
Keith was born on January 13, 1962 in Ada, Okla. to Arthur Campbell and Annie (Lovell) Campbell. He graduated from Konawa High School in 1980 and married Della Rae Nielsen on September 7, 1984 in Konawa.
Keith worked as a diesel mechanic for Commercial Brick and was a member of the Vamoosa Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Della Rae Campbell of the home; three sons, Jeffery Keith Campbell and Colton Keith Campbell also of the home, and James Arthur Campbell of St. Louis, Okla.; one daughter, Gina Rae Campbell of Konawa; three brothers, Alan Ray Campbell of Tecumseh, Okla., David Lynn Campbell of St. Louis, Mo., and Johnnie Fred Campbell of Tecumseh, Okla.; one sister, Judy (Campbell) Groat of Sacramento, Cali.; and two grandchildren,
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Keith Campbell
Keith Thomas Campbell passed away at his home on Saturday, March 1st, 2014 at the age of 62.
Keith was born June 25, 1951 in Borger, Tex. to Hugh Campbell and Mattie Lois Tibbs Campbell.
He moved with his family to Wewoka in the summer before third grade.
Keith attended Wewoka schools and graduated from Wewoka High School in 1969.
He loved his work and enjoyed a long career in all areas of the construction industry. He has been a carpenter, builder, general contractor, and for the last several years has been a Project Manager for Retail Construction traveling all over the United States.
Keith had numerous interest and hobbies. He liked clothes, hunting, fishing, reading, traveling, cooking, music (all kinds), boats, and boat riding, the arts, working in his yard and landscaping.
Like his father, he had a special place in his heart for birds. He especially enjoyed keeping his feeders full to see what would come to eat, even in the cold. As a little boy he could identify birds and tell you all about them. He felt greatly blessed to be able to watch right from his home magnificent eagles and lots of other unique waterfowl that frequent the lake.
Keith had his mother's quick wit, teased a lot, and was always fun to be with.
He liked having gatherings to eat, play cards, dominoes, watch sports or whatever.
One certain friend admitted he never could beat Keith at checkers.
He enjoyed his solitude but he also adored all his friends and family. He was a helpful, loyal friend, a true gentleman with a kind and gentle soul and had accepted Christ into his heart at a young age.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Mattie Campbell.
He is survived by his very special longtime friend Donna Grissom of Wewoka; her children and grandchildren; Donna's daughter, Bridgett Bennett and husband Steven; Donna's granddaughters, Shanna and Kailee; Donna's son, Brad Lindemann, and wife Rachel, and Donna's grandson, Ryan Lindemann.
Also surviving Keith is his sister, Cheryl and husband Tommy Muirhead of Shawnee; nephew, Tim Muirhead and wife Vonda; great-niece, Macy Muirhead; great-nephew Colton Muirhead of Tecumseh; nephew, Terry Muirhead and wife Kim; great-nephews, Connor Muirhead and Creed Muirhead of Shawnee.
Keith is survived by his daughter, Kecia Wade; two grandchildren, Skyland Wade and Skyra Wade of Tecumseh; and adopted son, Jimmy Mitchell of Oklahoma City.
Keith had no biological brothers but he did have extremely close friend, John Smart, along with close friends and neighbors, Ronnie Fields, and Terry Mantooth that were "Closer than brothers" to him.
Keith also had numerous other close friends, both male and female, too many to be able to name them all here.
The family would like to say "Thank you and ask God to bless each and every one of you for always being there for Keith. Thanks for giving your time and efforts and for helping us. Your actions will always be remembered and deeply appreciated."
Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday March 8, 2014 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Wewoka with Pastor Glenn Peck officiating, assisted by Pastors Bill Matthews and Phil Thompson.

Teanna Campbell
Teanna Nache Campbell passed away in a tragic accident Wednesday, October 15th, 2014 in Wewoka, Okla.
Teanna Nache Campbell was born March 1st, 1995 in Goldendale, Washington to Mike Campbell and Lindy Billy-Harrison.
She attended Seminole schools and was a homemaker.
Teanna is preceded in death by her grandfathers; John Harvey and Gene Campbell.
She is survived by her sons; Daniel Posey Campbell, and Josiah Hill both of Wewoka; her father Mike Campbell of Wewoka; mother Lindy Billy-Harrison of Wash.; sisters; Warrette Campbell of Wewoka and Ashley Billy-Harrison of Dalles, Ore.; Grandmothers; Iris Harvey of Dallesport Wash.; Joyce Conrad of Grandview Wash.; and Martha Campbell of Wewoka, Okla.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday October 18, 2014 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Curtis Kinney officiating.
Honorary pallbearers are Craig Conrad, Mike Newman, Jeff Wilson, and Rod Raudebaugh.
Interment will be held at a later date in Washington.
