Willie Mae Cellars (Rose), 60, lifelong resident of Seminole County, left this world in the arms of our Heavenly Father taking her place in heaven.
Willie Mae had a very peaceful passing with her family by her side early Wednesday morning at Midwest Regional Hospital.
It is now our "her family’s" journey to rise above our loss and find a way to make peace with it.
She was born June 24, 1953, to James William and Ruby Mae Rose (Welch).
She attended Seminole schools and spent most of her life as mother and homemaker to her four children.
Her children were her heart, her soul and her life. As long as she had her children, al was well in the world.
She loved country music, cooking, camping, fishing, porcelain dolls, fashion jewelry, flowers (especially the Blaze Rose) and Paul Alred.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cromwell. She always spoke very highly of her pastor, Manuel Kishketon.
Survivors include her best friend, confidant and companion of the last 20 years, Paul Alred; her son and his wife, John and Amy Cellars of Wanette; daughter-in-law, Shannon Cellars of Seminole; daughter and her husband, Christa and Nick Alred of Cromwell; son, James and his wife Tara of Eufaula; and by her eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She is also survivied by one sister and her husband, Tommie and Alan Morris of Seminole; brother, Bill Mahoney of New Lima; brother and wife, Hugh and Claudie Mahoney of Roseburg, Ore. and a host of nieces and nephews.
Willie Mae was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruby Rose; son, David Cellars; brother, Jerry Mahoney, and loving niece, Lisa Mahoney Shaw.
Services with her will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Cromwell.

Harold Chadick
Harold Lee Chadick of Wewoka passed away on Saturday Oct. 25, 2014 at the Elmwood Nursing Home in Wewoka.
Harold was born on January 8, 1920 in Calvin to Albert Dodson Chadick and Mamie Mai (Hampton) Chadick.
Harold attended school at Wewoka Schools and played football.
He later became an Operating Engineer in the Oilfield.
He married Hazel Stidham on Dec. 31, 1940 in Wewoka.
They were married for 74 years.
Harold was World War II Veteran where he served in the Army Air Corp.
He served as a forward observer pilot.
He loved the outdoors and loved to work, and there wasn't anything he couldn't fix.
Harold was also a 32nd Degree Mason.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents; Albert and Mamie Chadick, one son; Edward Lee Chadick, and brothers and sister; Charles Chadick, Bob Chadick, Eddie Chadick, Alma Caldwell, and Edward Chadick.
He is survived by his wife; Hazel Chadick of the home, his brother Jim Chadick of Wewoka, granddaughters Shandra Navarro of Ariz., Marci Chadick of Cali., daughter-in-law Carole Chadick of Ariz., and numerous other family and friends.
Funeral Services for Harold were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014 at the Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Wewoka where Pastor Russell Ryker officiated and interment followed at the Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka.
Pallbearers were Mike Westmoland, Remington Westmoland, Aron Khoury, and Zane Smith.
Funeral Services are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home of Wewoka.
Claud Chappell Jr.
Claud Melvin Chappell Jr., 88, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014.
He was born Jan. 26 1926, in Holdenville, Okla., to Claud Chappell Sr. and Susie (Willhite) Chappell.
On Aug. 3 1947, he married the love of his life, Lois Faylene Graham. Claud and Lois celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary this year.
He was in the Army Air Corps.
He was an entrepreneur and thriving businessman. He owned, operated and retired from C&J Trucks of Seminole, Okla.
He, along with other investors, was an integral part of purchasing Prague National Bank, now known as Vision Bank.
Retiring at the age of 50, Claud loved to travel, golf, pilot small aircraft, play cards, invest in the stock market and much more.
He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Jaycees and St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Claud Chappell Sr. and Susie (Willhite) Chappell.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Chappell; two daughters and spouses, Judy and Joe Roberson of Del City, Janis and Jimmy King of Shawnee; one grandchild, Lindsay Chappell King; nieces and nephews.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27 2014, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Perry Williams officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Crossroads Hospice or the charity of choice.
Terry Chase
Terry M. Chase, 74, of Fairland, Okla., formerly of Seminole, Okla. died at Freeman Health System in Joplin, Mo. Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014 from complications following heart surgery.
He was born Oct. 25, 1939 in Seminole to Herb and Jeanette (Couk) Chase.
He was an entrepreneur and business man, owning furniture stores in various cities in Oklahoma and Arkansas.
In his early retirement he was a volunteer with Heaven and Earth Hospice and more recently volunteered as the Chairman of the Fairland, Oklahoma Senior Citizens Center where he managed day to day operations and procured funding through grants.
He is survived by his brother, Ronald Chase of San Francisco, Calif.; his son, Brian Chase of Fort Smith, Ark., his daughter Laurie Brown of Tulsa, Okla., and four grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Fairland with Reverends Shannon Rodenberg and Carol Minter officiating.
Graveside services will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole.
Services are under the direction of the Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions to the Fairland Senior Citizens Center or Fairland First United Methodist Church.
Ralph Chauvin Jr.
Memorial services for Ralph Walter Chauvin Jr. will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 5, 2014 in David Funeral Home of Abbeville, La.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. until service time, with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating.
Ralph Jr., a native and life resident of Abbeville passed away Saturday Nov. 1, 2014 in his residence.
He was a body man for Broussard Pontiac for many years, he also worked for Omega Protein as a warehouse clerk.
He was a Cajun musician and loved to play drums.
Ralph Jr. is survived by his wife Betty Ann Moreland Chauvin of Abbeville, La.; Two sons Ralph Walter Chauvin III and wife Valerie of Lake Charles and Christopher James Chauvin and wife Kayla of Kaplan, La.; daughter Valerie Anne Chauvin Duplantis and husband Jessie of Abbeville, La.; Four Grandchildren Blake Bourque, Hunter Chauvin, Ethan Chauvin, and Ebon Chauvin; numerous nieces and nephews; father and mother-in-law James "Bud" Jr. and Betty Lou Cravens Moreland of Wewoka, Okla.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ralph Walter Sr. and Delta Mae Landry Chauvin; step father Auron "Tex" Cormier; sister Rose Marie Chauvin Trahan; grandson Iain Chauvin

Benny Chesser
Benny Eugene Chesser, 62, of Wewoka, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 in Wewoka.
He was born June 10, 1952 in Wewoka to Benjamin Franklin Chesser and Ora Elizabeth Dutey.
He worked for Oakridge Nursing Home and Clay Pipe of Seminole.
Preceding him in death are his parents; sisters, Peggy Harmon, Debbie Harrison; and one brother, Jimmy Leon Chesser.
Survivors include children, B.J. Chesser of Tecumseh, Okla., Rusty Chesser of Wewoka, Anthony Chesser of Oklahoma City, Charletta Chong-Sang, and Shannon Haggard; ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Memorial service will be Thursday, July 24, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Wewoka Gleaners Holiness Church, with Pastors Larry Chesser and Bill Chesser officiating.
Gerald Chisum
Former resident Gerald Hayes (Pete) Chisum 71, of Duncan, died at his home Sunday, July 27, 2014.
Funeral services will be 1:39 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the Ray of Hope Church with Rev. Ronny Bernard and Rev. Billy Morgan officiating, interment will follow at the Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, Okla.
Arrangements are under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.
There will be a family visitation Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Katherine Clayton
Katherine Ann (Pruitt) Clayton, 79, long-time Konawa resident died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Konawa. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Ft. Worth, Tex. Rev. Jim McMillan will officiate.
Pallbearers are Darrell Mackey, Chris Sharp, Robert Roulston, Mickey Clayton, Otis Gilbert, and Marvin Patterson.
She was born July 5, 1934 in Oklahoma City to Robert Pruitt and Gladys (Hargis) Pruitt.
She graduated from East Central University of Ada, Oklahoma with a Master of Science in Education.
She was a retired teacher from the Konawa school system, and was also the Director of Heritage House Nutrition Center in Seminole, Okla.
She married Floyd Clayton on May 29, 1975 in Konawa.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Clayton of the home; one son, Jack Gorczyca of Harrah, Okla.; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Pruitt.
