Mr. Palmer died Sept. 12, 2005. He was born April 26, 1930, at Arvin County, Calif., to Albert and Alice Faye Palmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Linda Elaine Palmer.

LIVE OAK SPRINGS RESORT, Calif. — Graveside services for Lloyd H. Bolin Sr., 83, Live Oak Springs Resort, were Sept. 9, 2005, in California.
Mr. Bolin died Sept. 1, 2005. He was born March 30, 1922, at Healdton, Okla. He lived in the Ada, Okla., area for many years. He married Billie Van Buskirk Oct. 13, 1945, at Sulphur, Okla. They moved to Holtville, Calif., in 1957. Mr. Bolin worked as a heavy equipment operator at Imperial Valley until he retired in 1980.
Survivors include his wife, Billie; two sons, Harold Bolin and wife Jennifer, El Centro, and Gary Bolin, Columbia Falls, Mont.; three grandsons, Steven Bolin, Denver, Colo., Brent Bolin, El Centro, and Michael Bolin, College Station, Texas; two granddaughters; Michelle Jorgensen and Elizabeth Christianson, both of Missoula, Mont.; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Mann died Sept. 14, 2005, at a local hospital. He was born March 22, 1944, at Oklahoma City. He moved to this area in 1977 from Lindsay. He worked at East Central University maintenance department. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of First Baptist Church of Lindsay.
Survivors include a special friend and companion, Diane Bond, of the home; one daughter, Lisa Daniel and husband Leroy, Stonewall; one son, Jody Mann Jr. and wife Melissa, Ada; parents, James and Jean Mann, Lindsay; two brothers, Jim Mann and wife Charolette, Tyler, Texas, and Bill Swinford and wife Shirley, Piedmont; four grandchildren, Austin and Josie Mann, Ada, and Delaney and Leslie Daniel, Stonewall; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

ADA — Services for Joy Mae Ross Dixon, 81, Ada, are 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Dr. George Warren officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dixon died Sept. 11, 2005, at a local hospital. She was born April 11, 1924, at Cleveland, Okla., to Harvey Edward and Esther Gladys Harris Ross. She lived in this area all her life and attended school in Ada, graduating from Ada High School, as well as attending East Central University. She taught music at Ada High School for a short time in the early 1940s, and later taught piano, organ and voice in her home. She was a longtime active member of First United Methodist Church, Ada, and was also the organist at First United Methodist Church, Pryor, for many years. She was a member of the fellowship class at church and was the pianist. She was also a member of Golden Agers, Mary-Martha Circle, Prime Timers, D. A. R., Wednesday Morning Music Club and Rebekah Lodge, where she served as past noble grand.
She married Jesse Bernard Dixon Dec. 24, 1954. He preceded her in death April 15, 1995.
Survivors include two daughters, Jocelyn Stout, Pryor, and Onias Thornton, Davis; one sister, Charlotte Hollis, Ada; two brothers, Richard Ross and wife Lois and Jon Ross and wife Marjorie, all of Ada; three grandchildren, Ryan Stout, Pryor, Jessica Thornton and Clayton Thornton, Davis; and one great-grandchild, Blakeley Thornton, Davis.
Bearers are Randall Ross, David Logan, Phillip Hawkins, Casey Hawkins, Zac Hawkins and E. H. “Butch” Hollis.
Honorary bearers are members of Fellowship Sunday school class.

ADA — Graveside services for Zora Mae Mahan, 84, Ada, are 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery, the Rev. Carl Hayes officiating.
Mrs. Mahan died Sept. 12, 2005, at a local hospital. She was born Oct. 2, 1920, at Madge, near Hollis, to Luther Fields and Molly White Fields. She moved to Ada in 1995 from Lubbock, Texas. She was a registered nurse, and retired as a deputy sheriff from Lubbock.
She was married to Floyd Mahan. He preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by a grandson, William Keith Henry; and a great-grandson, Joseph Allen Taylor.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Henry and David Mahan, both of Ada; five daughters, Sally Lewis, Hollis, Juanita Myrick, Gladys Clewis, both of Ada, Bonnie Allen, Vernon, Texas, and Nancy Price, Munster, Texas; two brothers, Luther Fields Jr., Amarillo, Texas, and Billy Joe Fields, Vernon, Texas; one sister, Zada Randall, Artesia, N.M.; nineteen grandchildren; forty-four great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

ADA — Services for G. R. Burns, 92, Ada, are 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Tony Folger will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Burns died Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, at a local nursing home. He was born March 4, 1913 in Seymour, Texas to George Washington and Mattie Jane Curry Burns. He came to this area as a child.
Mr. Burns married Dorothy Ann Brewster on Feb. 6, 1938, at Stonewall. She died Aug. 20, 1985. Mr. Burns was a service station attendant, attended the Oak Avenue Baptist Church and was a member of the Odd Fellows.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Dunham and her husband Archie, Houston, Texas; a son, Cliff Burns and his wife Mary Beth, Castle Rock, Colo.; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a cousin, Mildred Yoakum, Ada; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Bearers will be Jack Brewster, Roger Burns, Merle Burns, Mike Walker, Roger Reeves, and Jim Lillard.

KENDALVILLE, Ind. —Memorial services for J.C. Bottoms Sr., 64, Kendalville, Ind., formerly of Ada, Okla., will be held at a later date at the home of his daughter, Cindy Deatherage, Ada, Okla. Mr. Bottoms died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005, at a Kendalville nursing home.
He was born March 26, 1941, in Bixby, Okla., to Archie and Ruby Bottoms. He spent many years in California before moving back to Oklahoma. He lived in Ada for several years before moving to Indiana. Mr. Bottoms was a home builder and he was of the Baptist faith.
He married Jerris Hovis on May 3, 1999.
Survivors include his wife, Jerris Bottoms, of the home; three daughters, Cindy Deatherage and her husband Monte, Ada and Jennifer Harrington, Indiana, and Gina Brown Paradez, Okla.; three sons, J.C. Bottoms Jr., Roff, Jason Harrington, Oklahoma, and Jonathan Bottoms, Avon Park, Fla.; two step-daughters, Kathy Zaragoza, Indiana, and Jennifer Donnell, South Carolina; eight grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister, Jeannie Williams, Indiana; several nieces and nephews; and a very close friend, Rick Lyles, Tulsa, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Bottoms and Ruby White, two sisters, Pearl Cherry and Annie Nichols, and two step-sons, Robert Louise Standon in 1969 and Curtis Ray Standon on Jan. 3, 2005.
