A Celebration of Life service will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 19, 2014 at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary.
She is survived by her husband, Glynn Jones, Wichita; father, Dennis Everhart, Konawa, Okla.; mother, Rebecca Sue Mallett, Wichita; mother-in-law, Norma Jones, Vici, Okla.; grandparents, Rosaline and Jack Williams, Laura, Mo., Charlie Everhart, Herrington, Kans., Glendena Blosser, Woodward, Okla.; step-son, Andrew Jones, Wichita; brother, Tim (Donna) Everhart, Konawa, Okla.; sister, Samantha (Marshall Siruta, Goodland, Kans.; brothers-in-law, Martin (Jane) Jones, Bryan Jones; aunt, Terri (Mitch) Gravely, Kansas City, Kans.; nieces and nephews, Megan, Jordan, Cherise, Jennifer, Tiffany, Thomas, Courtney, Shane, Hunter, Kyland, Dylan, Emma; cousins, Amber, David, Sid, Kiamichi; special friends, Cheryl Valentine and Jeania Coleman.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with MDA to honor Nichole. She would have been their Rider of Honor in this year’s event.

Brenden Ewing
Brenden Kim Ewing, age 58, passed away May 6, 2014 at Wewoka Healthcare Center in Wewoka, Okla.
Kim was born Jan. 17, 1956 to J.R. and Jimmie Jean Derryberry Ewing.
Kim remained in the care of his loving parents, assisting his dad with farming and the neon sign business until 1995 when he moved to Oakridge Home in Wewoka.
Kim resided at Oakridge Home until recently, moving to Wewoka Healthcare Center.
Kim enjoyed collecting treasures such as different types of ball caps, t-shirts and office supplies, particularly pens, pencils and paper. Kim loved to write and draw.
He enjoyed being with his family, especially at holiday gatherings.
With his infectious smile and engaging personality, he developed many special friendships over the years and will be greatly missed.
Kim is preceded in death by his parents, J.R. and Jimmie Ewing; his grandparents, Arthur Ray and Bessie Vestal Ewing and Willis Landrum and Willene Faye Woodall Derryberry.
Survivors include one sister, Toni Donice Ewing Frioux (Chuck) of Norman, Okla.; two nephews, Joshua Frioux of Norman Okla. and Christopher Frioux (Carrie) of Mustang, Okla.; two uncles, Larry Derryberry (Gale) of Edmond, Okla. and Gary Derryberry (Sharon) of Choctaw, Okla.
Also surviving are cousins, Darren Derryberry (Cindy) of Oklahoma City, Okla., Dara Derryberry Olsen (Randy) of Edmond, Okla., Brandon Derryberry (Billy) of Choctaw, Okla. and Dr. Broc Derryberry (Anglea) of Choctaw, Okla.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday May 10 at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus, Okla. with Dr. Jeff Moore, First Baptist Church of Altus officiating. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Down Syndrome Association of Central Oklahoma, Special Olympics Oklahoma, or to a charity of choice.
Charles Farrar
Charles "Sonny" Farrar, 73, of Cameron, Okla. died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, in Fayetteville, Ark.
He was born March 7, 1941, in Cameron, Okla.
He was retired from Johnson Controls Inc. and worked at Poorboy Livestock Auction.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Cameron School gymnasium with burial at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Cameron, Okla. under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home in Poteau.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Connie Horton and Angie Carter, both of Cameron; his mother, Mary Farrar of Cameron; a sister, Ann Crosgrove of Seminole, Okla.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Farrar, Paul Duboise, Jerry Dunning, Jim Evans, John Woods Jr., Tim Cannon, Jessie Gibson and Billy Cook.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Kenneth Figley
Memorial services for Kenneth Earl "Fig" Figley will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church in Letha with Pastor Ron Duvall officiating.
Mr. Figley passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 at his residence in Seminole at the age of 56.
Fig was born August 28, 1958 in Carthage, Texas to Joel P. and Inez B. (Brooks) Figley.
He graduated from Seminole High School.
Fig went to college and received an Associate’s Degree in Mixing Engineering.
Fig was a music enthusiast and spent his life working in the music business.
He worked as a Roadie and a Mixing Engineer.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Fig is survived by his mother, Inez Figley of the Seminole; One brother, Randy Figley and many family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joel Figley.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Paula Fischer
Paula "Michelle" Fischer, 46, died at her home in Mill Creek, Okla. on Friday, Aug. 8, 2014.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, Aug. 14 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa. No service is planned at this time.
She was born on Aug. 18, 1967 in McAlester, Okla. to Linda (Crandell) Osborn.
She graduated from Byng High School and became a Certified Nurse’s Aide for Jan Frances Care Center in Ada, Okla.
She is survived by her mother, Linda Osborn of Lula, Okla; two daughters, Chanelle Foster of Konawa and Raven; one brother, Dennie Hill of Lula, Okla.; and two grandchildren.

Services for Charles Edward Flannery, 71, Longtime Seminole Resident will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday Oct. 29, 2014 at the Trinity Baptist Church at Letha, South of Seminole.
Charles Flannery
Charles Edward Flannery, age 71 and a resident of Seminole, Okla., passed away on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014 at his home under the loving care of his family.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date to be held at the Trinity Baptist church, and Ron Duvall will officiate. He will be laid to rest at Little Cemetery.
Charles was born on Nov. 20, 1942 in Savanna, Okla. to Charley Robert Flannery and Alma Clay (Brown) Flannery.
He graduated from Bowlegs High School, and worked as a truck driver for many years until his retirement for Koch Industries.
He married Judy Carol McGee on Feb. 8, 1963 in Tex.
He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church, and in his younger days.
He is survived by one son, Michael Charles Flannery of Seminole, Okla.; one daughter, Sherry "Micki" Sanders of Seminole; one sister, Sernanda (Flannery) Anderson of Arpelar, Okla.; four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Alma Flannery; and his wife of forty-seven years, Judy Carol Flannery in 2009.
Patricia Fort
Patricia Ann (Ryan) Fort, age 84, of York, Nebr., and formerly of Ulysses, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, in York.
She was born in Seminole, Okla., to Albert and Delphia Ryan. Patricia, (Pat), lived in Oklahoma and Ellinwood, Kans. before moving to Ulysses, Kans. as a teenager.
She graduated from Ulysses High School in 1948.
Pat married the late Clifford Fort, Jr. on Aug. 29, 1948, at the First United Methodist Church in Ulysses.
They lived together in Ulysses with their six children with an open door to their beloved family and friends until Cliff’s death from cancer in 1984.
With the unwavering support of her family, Pat remained at the family home in Ulysses for more than twenty-five years, attending and hosting family activities and traveling across the U.S. and Canada to visit loved ones.
In 2010, she relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana, to live with her youngest son Kelly Fort and his family.
They moved to York, Nebraska, in 2012.
Pat was an avid reader, enjoyed cross word puzzles and held deep interests in politics and the vast career areas of her family.
Pat is survived by her children: daughter Cheryl Wagner and her husband Ron of Linn Creek, Mo.; and sons Greg Fort of Ulysses, Kans.; Jon Fort and his wife Patsy of Garden City, Kans.; Brad Fort and his wife Deb of Ulysses, Kans.; Chris Fort and his wife Jamie of Phoenix, Ariz.; and Kelly Fort and his wife Beth of York, Nebr.; and brother Mike Ryan of Gillette, Wyo.
She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, Taryn Fort Doyle, Devan Fort, Thayne Fort, Amber Wolking, Travis Fort, Jordan Castro, Corin Fort, Grant Fort, Rayne Fort, Autumn Fort, Bree Fort, Eden Fort and Dray Fort; and two great-grandchildren Ginger Doyle and Hayes Wolking.
Carl Foster
Carl William Foster, long time Seminole resident died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Midwest City, Okla. at the age of 50.
He was born May 25, 1963 in Pensacola, Fla. to Donald Edmond Foster and Mary Alice (Griffin) Foster.
He moved to Seminole 16 years ago from Holdenville.
He graduated from Coalgate High School.
He joined the United States Navy where he earned the rank of E5; he served in Desert Storm.
He worked as a correctional guard at the Holdenville Correctional Center and at Mobil Chemical. He owned and operated Hillbilly Bar-B-Q and was currently employed with Seminole Wal-Mart as a receiving associate.
He married Karen Kay (Brooks) Foster in Earlsboro on Sept. 29, 1998.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Foster of the home; one daughter, Emunah D. Foster of the home; his mother, Mary Alice Foster of Tecumseh; one brother, Tom Foster of Earlsboro; and four sisters, Alice M. Tackett of Tecumseh, Donna F. Kline of Midwest City, Okla., Peggy S. Robbins of Earlsboro, and Sally J. Bingham of Derby, Kans.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Foster.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Monday, May 5, 2014 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Troglin officiating. Burial will take place at Little Cemetery, Little, Okla.
Serving as honorary casket bearers are Eric Whitt, T. J. Whitt, Gary Brooks, Tommy Whitt, Mike Barrett and Tommy Clark.
Funeral services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
