Pam Hubert

Pam Norman Hubert passed away Oct. 19, 2014 in Caledonia, Miss.

She was born July 22, 1959 to Frank and Mattie Norman.

Hubert graduated from Pleasant Grove School in 1977.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Hubert and her sister, Rita Norman Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

At this time no services are scheduled.

Ruth Hughes

Velma Ruth Hughes was born on March 17, 1932 in Seminole, Okla. and passed away on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014.

Ruth was a resident of Seminole at the time of her death, moving there from Santa Maria, Calif. eight year ago.

Ruth is survived by her brother, Troy (Bertha) Grigg; sister, Thelma Hulsey, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Hughes; daughter, Carolyn Morris; and granddaughter, Kandi Lundin.

A public memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Ideal Street Baptist Church with Pastor Gene Smith officiating. A reception will follow.

Velma Hughes

Velma Ruth Hughes was born on March 17, 1932 in Seminole, Okla. and passed away on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014.

Ruth was a resident of Seminole at the time of her death, moving there from Santa Maria, Calif. eight year ago.

Joe Huntley

Joe N. Huntley was born on February 15th, 1955 in Wewoka to Jake and Stella Huntley. He passed away on April 3rd, 2014.

He is preceded in death by father Jake Huntley, brother Melvin, and sister Quanzetta.

He is survived by mother Stella Huntley, sisters Pearl, Lavoris, Shirliey, Ruby, Lilillie, and Adella; brother TS, and many nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Monday, April 14th. Services are Tuesday, April 15th at First Christian Church at 1:00 p.m. in Wewoka.

Emery Hutchings

Emery Bennett Hutchings passed away on Nov. 4, 2014 in Holdenville, Okla.

He was born on Feb. 22, 1922 in Holdenville, Okla. to Emery Bennett Hutchings and Maude David (Watson) Hutchings.

Emery attended and graduated from Holdenville High School with the Class of 1948.

After high school, Emery began serving his country in the United States Air Corps.

He was a member of the 94th Bomb Squadron where he served as Rear Ball Gunner.

During World War II, the 94th Bombardment Group (Heavy) flew 324 combat missions and was awarded two Distinguished Unit Citations: Operations over Regensburg, and over Brunswick.

The 94th was assigned to the Eighth Air Force 4th Combat Bombardment Wing, and the group tail code was a "Square-A".

The group withstood repeated assaults by enemy interceptors to bomb an aircraft factory at Regensburg, being awarded a Distinguished Unit Citation for the mission.

Braving adverse weather, heavy flak, and savage fighter attacks, the group completed a strike against an aircraft parts factory in Brunswick and received a 2d DUC for this operation. The 94th took part in the campaign of heavy bombers against the enemy aircraft industry during Big Week.

Emery B. Hutchings, United States Army Air Forces, was awarded the Silver Star for conspicuous gallantry in action against the enemy while serving with the Eighth Air Force in the European Theater of Operations during World War II.

While in the military, Emery met and fell in love with Rose Belanger who was also serving in the US Air Corps in Dover.

The couple married in Dover on June 29, 1946

The family moved to Holdenville after their service in the military.

Emery was a member of the St. Stephens Catholic Church in Holdenville.

Emery is preceded in death by his parents, wife; Rose Hutchings, siblings; Annie Irene Hutchings, Violet Hutchings, Ruby Palmer, Edith Holsenback, Mary Fox, and Letty Bruce, brothers-in-law Wilford Belanger, Albert Belanger, Raymond Belanger, and sisters-in-law Eva Palmory and Jeanette Couture.

Survivors include his children; Linda Hokit of Holdenville, Emery Hutchings Jr. Rowlett, Delores of Holdenville, and Suzanne Williams of Midwest City, 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, sister Gertrude Hayworth of Mauldin, Mo, as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Christian Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014 at the St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Holdenville with Fr. Peter Phung officiating.

Burial will follow at the Holdenville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brad Vandeveer, John Williams, Christopher Babb, Adam Mudd, Ian Phillips, and Dakota Budd.

Honorary bearers will be Lori Babb, Gwen Phillips, Monica Esparza, Karla Hill, Karinsa Passante, Stephanie Hafner, and Amanda Mitchell.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville.

Thomas Hutchison

Funeral services for Thomas Guy Hutchison are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Factor officiating and burial at Oakwood Cemetery.

Thomas Guy Hutchison was born July 22, 1946 in Wewoka, Okla. to the late Guy Walker Hutchison and Norman Quae (Hall) Hutchison.

He passed away Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014 at Wewoka Nursing Home.

Thomas was a member of Akasvmkv Baptist Church and retired from the Army National Guard, as a cook.

He was a graduate of Wewoka High School.

He was an avid OU football and basketball fan and enjoyed collecting matchbox cars. He loved his Church and Church family.

Preceding Thomas in death are his parents.

Survivors include brothers, and wives, Terry L. Hutchison and Gwen of McAlester, Keith Hutchison and Yvetta of New Lima; two step sisters, Tricia Munday and husband Wayne, and Vickie Fleming, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Arrangements are by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka.

Lt. Col. Max Ibach

Lt. Colonel Max R. Ibach. USAF (ret.)

Sept. 25, 1932 – Sept. 15, 2014

Max Russell Ibach was the only child of Sarah Belle Kahler Ibach and Max Ibach, Sr. born on Sept. 25, 1932, in Seminole, Okla.

He entered the U.S. Air force in 1951, and was first trained as a mechanic and worked on airplane engines.

He was later selected to enter pilot training and loved to fly. Without exception, aircrafts that he flew were the first line fighter aircraft of the world.

For 18 of those 21 years, he trained to defend a nation. For one 10-month period, he flew the F4 Phantom Jet in armed combat, where people were trying to kill him.

Lt. Col. Ibach had a distinguished 21-year career. In 1966, he completed 175 combat aerial missions over Viet Nam.

He was the recipient of the USAF Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star, eight Air Medals, and the Air Force Commendation Medal.

Thelma Ingram

Thelma I. Ingram, 97, was called to her Heavenly home on Dec. 6, 2014.

She was born April 21, 1917 in Seminole County, Okla. to Ernest Eugene & Stella (Burrows) Richards.

Thelma completed Summers Chapel Grade School in 6 years so she could enter Konawa HS with her older sister, Lucille.

She married Batt Ingram on June 20, 1935.

They had 4 sons & shared 59 wonderful years together.

Thelma attended Hills Business College & was the first student to complete each subject taught at Hills.

She was a tireless worker & held several bookkeeping & office jobs before establishing her own bookkeeping & tax service in OKC.

She was a member of the National Assoc. of Public Accountants.

Preceded in death by her husband & sisters, Lucille Farris & Katherine Bradley, she is survived by her sons, Jimmy & wife, Mary Frances, Harold, Stanley & wife, Lana Beth & David; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren & 6 great-great grandchildren.

A Rosary was held at 7:00 p.m. Wed. Dec. 10, 2014 at the mortuary with Mass being held at 10:30 a.m. Thurs. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 47943 Abbey Road, Konawa, Okla. with burial following in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Nov. 17, 1932 – Jan. 25, 2014

Pastor of the Forest Hill Missionary Baptist Church went from labor to reward on Jan. 25, 2014.

He was born on Nov. 17, 1932 in Wewoka Okla.

Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 31, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Golden Gate Funeral Home, 5701 E. Loop 820 South., Ft. Worth, Tex.

Celebration of his life will be Saturday, Feb. 1, at 10 a.m. at Forest Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 4201 Village Creek Rd., Ft. Worth, Tex. Burial will follow at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka.

Services were entrusted to John E. Beckwith at Golden Gate Funeral Home and "A" Crematory, 5701 E. Loop 820 South, Ft. Worth, Tex.
