LaDonna Roshell "Pippy" Jackson, 30, lifelong Wewoka, Okla. resident died Thursday, May 8, 2014 at her home in Lima, Okla. following a battle with cancer.
She was born Sept. 7, 1983 in Wewoka to Polly Ann Jackson and Arthur Lee Berry.
She graduated from Butner High School in 2001.
Following high school she went to work in the health care field.
She is survived by her mother, Polly Ann Jackson of Wewoka; her father, Arthur Berry of Wewoka; her daughter, Invie Shila Deane Berry of Lima, Okla.; one brother, Arthur Lonzo Jackson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one sister, Elaine Jackson of Wewoka; and her son, Victor "Chico" Ellison of Pampa, Texas.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2014 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole. Rev. LaMonte Bray and Rev. Billy Renfro will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka.
Services have been entrusted to Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
Thomas Johnson Jr.
Thomas Johnson Jr., age 64 of Wewoka, passed away Monday, May 19, 2014 in Oklahoma City.
He was born Jan. 6, 1950 in Wewoka, Okla. to the late Thomas Johnson Sr. and Misselda Kaney.
Thomas was a graduate of Wewoka High School.
He married Peggy Ann Johnson in 1971 in Wewoka and she passed away in 1996.
He was a member of Spring Baptist Church and worked as a carpenter and also worked in the oilfield for many years.
His hobbies were raising quail and being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding Thomas in death are his parents; wife; brothers, Jimmy Johnson, Edward Johnson; two sisters, Flora McGirt, and Florence Frank .
Survivors include sons, Kevin Johnson and Nawatha of Kansas City, Mo. and Russell and wife Melissa of Wewoka; sisters, Katie Harjo of Oklahoma City, Okla., Abbie Johnson of Dallas, Tex., Cynthia Castro of Altus, Jeanette Johnson of Dallas, Tex.; brother, Wilbur Johnson of Seminole, Okla.; grandchildren, Tristan Johnson, Chastin Johnson, Sattin Thlocco Johnson Alavez, Chato Thlocco Johnson, Shaina Billy; great-grandchildren, Journei Johnson, Paysleigh Johnson, Aislynn Alavez, Lluvia Alavez, Azucena Alavez, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Ray Evans, Charles Conley, Russell Harjo, Billy Joe Harjo Jr., Rodney Johnson, and Michael Johnson.
Wake service will be 6 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel.
The body will be taken to Spring Baptist Church at 10 a.m. for a 2 p.m. Friday funeral service at Spring Baptist with Rev. Richard Pickup and Rev. Leon Postoak officiating.

Charles Johnson
Charles "Tommy" Johnson Jr. of Wewoka, Okla. departed this life Wednesday, Nov. 26th, 2014 in Oklahoma City at the age of 66 years.
He was born March 11, 1948 in Holdenville, Okla. to the late Charles Johnson Sr. and Dorothy White Self.
Tommy worked for Chaffin Material in the maintenance department.
Preceding Tommy in death are his parents, sister Brenda Risenberger, and daughter Michelle Gibson.
Survivors include his companion of twenty three years Betty Bollinger. children Charles "Tommy" TJ Johnson IIl, Jeff Johnson, Sherman Bollinger of Wewoka, Okla., Sheila Smith of Baytown, Tex, Steven Bollinger of Wewoka, Okla. twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one brother, Wesley Self of Edmond, Okla.
A private service will be at later date.

Lee Johnson
Lee Otis Johnson, age 68 years of Wewoka, formerly of Boley, Okla. departed this life Friday at Elmwood Manor, Wewoka.
Born Aug. 31, 1946 in Boley, Okla. to the late Aaron Johnson and Emma Henneha Johnson.
Lee was an auto mechanic for a number of years.
Preceding Lee in death are his parents, brothers Fred Johnson, Grady Johnson and sister Cora Jean McCarrell.
Survivors include children Rachel Standifer of Wichita, KS, Michael Johnson of Shawnee, and Lee Otis Johnson Jr. of Shawnee, Tekia of Praireville La., and Selena of Boley; 13 grandchildren, Brothers and Sisters Eddie Johnson of Shawnee, Frankie Johnson of Shawnee, Johnny Johnson of Virginia, Elsie Johnson of Tulsa, and Jean Wortham of Okemah, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Norma Johnson
Dec. 18, 1937 - July 1, 2014
Norma Jeanette Whalin Johnson, age 76 of Seminole, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 in Shawnee, Okla.
Norma was born in Atoka, Okla. to Varnell and Kenneth Whalin on Dec. 18, 1937.
She grew up in Leigh, Okla. and graduated from Coalgate High School in 1956.
Norma was married to Denver Johnson on Dec. 29, 1956 in Ada, Okla.
Upon graduating from High School she worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell in Ada.
Norma attended college at Seminole Junior College and East Central University and later completed the first nursing program at Gordon Cooper Vo-Tech.
She worked for 20 years at Seminole Hospital and finished her nursing career at Central Oklahoma Juvenile Treatment Center in Tecumseh, Okla.
Norma was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Self Culture Club.
She was also a member of Seminole First Baptist Church.
Norma’s greatest passion was her family and taking care of others through her nursing career.
Survivors include her husband of more than 57 years Denver Johnson of the home; children, Glenda Davis and husband Dr. Gerald Davis of Duncan, Okla.; Mark Johnson and wife Kelley of Seminole; Donna Frederick and husband Darren of Seminole; grandchildren, Dr. Gerrad Davis, Geoffrey Davis, Ryan Kenyon and wife Casey, Greg Davis, Kyler Phillips and husband Chase, Gage Johnson, Colin Frederick and Chloe Frederick and Landi Latimer; great grandchildren; Hayden Davis, Finley Davis, Emma Kenyon, Brisco Davis, Tommy Kenyon, and Olivia Latimer; also sister, Donna Davis of Sunnyvale, Tex., and several nieces and nephews.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Varnell and Kenneth Whalin.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Seminole, Okla. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, Okla. with Rev. Marvin Kehl officiating the service.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
Polly Johnson
Polly Marie Johnson, 91, of Van Buren, Ark. passed away Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, in a local nursing home.
She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Johnson Sr., and three sons, Alexander Jr., Michael and Patrick Johnson.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren, Ark. with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark. under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Ark.
She is survived by three daughters, Sue Hembera and Judy Barr, both of Van Buren, Ark., and Angela Rupp of Mountainburg; two sons, Stephen Johnson of Rockwell, Tex., and Jack Johnson of Van Buren; two sisters, Parthena Campbell of Wewoka, Okla., and Gail Dean of Alma, Ark.; one brother, Bob Workman of Natural Dam; 23 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Family will visit with relatives and friends today from 2-4 p.m. at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson St., in Van Buren, Ark.
Pallbearers will be John Hembera Jr., Jack Alexander Johnson, Simon Nicolas Johnson and William Rupp.
Brian Jones
Brian Randel Jones, 64, of Wewoka died Thursday, June 26, 2014 at his home.
He was born March 24, 1950 in Pawnee, Okla. to Jerry Herman Jones and Beulah Marie Johnson Jones.
He was a graduate of New Lima schools.
He worked for American Indian Center of Correction as a Correction Officer in Dallas, Tex.
He was a member of the Nurcup Harjo Band.
He served in the United States Marines.
Preceding him in death are his parents.
Survivors include his children Brian Todd Jones of Wewoka, Jayna Marie McGeisey of Wewoka, and Ronesca "Pooh" Nowtah of Seminole; seven grandchildren; and siblings, Marion Jones of Wetumka, Jean Larney of Seminole, Steven Jones of Seminole, Marilyn Fleming of Tulsa, Jerri Factor of Bowlegs, Marsha Chapmen of Stillwater, Carmen McKinney of Muskogee, and Kevin Jones of Wewoka.
Pallbearers will be Shawn "Katcv Jones, Kip Larney, Jeremy Larney, Kyle Larney, Louise Lena Jr., Mitchell Jones, Gage Eagleroad, and Hershel Wise.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cecil Larney, Dean Lena, Louie Lena, Mark Lena, Benny Lena, Johnny Mike Fixico, Glenn Coker, and Keith Coker.
The body will be taken at 4 p.m. Sunday to Hilltop Presbyterian Church for a 7 p.m. Wake services.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2014 at Hilltop Presbyterian Church, Wewoka with Rev Gene Wilson and Pastor Curtis Kinney officiating. Burial to follow at Johnson family Cemetery.

Earl Jones
Earl Junior Jones, 81, of Fort Smith, Ark. died Friday, June 20, 2014, in Fort Smith.
He was born Aug. 24, 1932, in Wewoka, Okla.
He was an Army veteran, and a laborer for different factories.
The family will have a private memorial service. His ashes will be placed at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
He is survived by eight sons, Rodney Jones of Fresno, Calif., Randy and Michael Jones, both of Ozark, Robert Jones of Subiaco, Reagan Jones of Clarksville, Marvin Davis and Shane and Shannon Jones, all of Fort Smith; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
LaJohna Jones
LaJohna Gale Jones, 54, Seminole resident died Tuesday, February, 25, 2014 at Seminole Care and Rehab Center in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was born December 18, 1959 in Vernon, Tex. to Johnny Wyane and Charlotte (Trantham) McDowell.
She is survived by her Mother, Charlotte Minyard of Seminole, Okla., her daughter Amanda Dawn McDowell of Marlow, Okla., one brother Rayland McDowell of Seminole, three sisters, Charlotte Sizemore of Shawnee, Okla., Ginger Grant of Waurika, Okla. and Audra Gorden of Seminole, Okla., and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers Danny McDowell and Eddie Mcdowell.
Graveside memorial services are planned for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Little Cemetery, north of Seminole with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
