John Ramage age 68 years passed away at his home in Wewoka.
Born Nov. 7, 1946 in Holdenville, Okla. to H.B. and Pauline Ramage.
He was a graduate of Wewoka High School, class of 1965 and after graduating he joined the US Navy, serving during the Vietnam conflict.
John was a fireman for the Wewoka Fire Department for a number of years and upon retiring he was assistant Chief.
He was a member of the First Christian Church in Wewoka and was baptized at the age of 12.
Preceding John in death are his parents, and wife Lavatta (Davis) Ramage.
Survivors include brother -in-law Ernest Lavell Jackson, Oklahoma City, uncle David Ramage, nephew; Jeff Jackson, niece; Karen Kating, two great-nephews and one great-niece.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2014 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel.
Wewoka Fire Department will serve as Pall bearers.
Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Wewoka.

Virginia Ramsey
Virginia Lee (Sparkman) Ramsey, was born on Jan. 20, 1934 at Cushing, Okla. to George and Alice Sparkman.
She departed this life on Sept. 17, 2014 in Seminole, Okla.
Virginia completed her high school education at Horace Mann, Ada and finished her Bachelor's Degree at East Central State College in Ada.
The wife of Rev. Don R. Ramsey of Wewoka, Virginia entered the teaching profession in 1955 at Ong Elementary School, Seminole County.
She served as a missionary assistant to her husband when the family began pioneering missions on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona.
As homemaker she also nurtured four children during the first seven years of her married life.
When the family moved to Phoenix, Ariz. in 1965, Virginia became teacher, office manager, and bookkeeper for the All Tribes Bible School now known as AIC.
Later she served the college as Business Manager until she was employed by the Arizona District Council of the Assemblies of God as its Office Manager and Bookkeeper. She remained in this position for nearly twenty-four years.
In 1980 the Ramsey's moved to Anchorage, Alaska, where her husband worked at the Far North Bible College and First Assembly of God. She served the Anchorage First Assembly as its Bookkeeper during the year they were stationed there.
Resuming her position at the district office in Arizona, she worked there until 1999 when she resigned and accompanied her husband to Seminole, Okla.
She remained a homemaker until her demise.
In lieu of flowers a gift to Mission's would honor Virginia's calling.
Sister Ramsey is survived by her four children, Rebecca Ramsey of Seminole, Okla., Deborah MonBarren of Scottsdale, Ariz., Stephen of Payson, Ariz., David of Prescott, Ariz., five grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Arizona; her sisters; nephews and nieces and many friends.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2014 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Lindell Warren and Rev. Kevin Wehrli officiating.

Donald Reade
Sept. 2, 1953 - May 19, 2014
Donald George Ryan Reade, long time Seminole resident, entered eternal life on May 19, 2014 at Seminole, Okla.; he was 60 years old.
Donald was born Sept. 2, 1953 in Queens, N.Y. to parents Francis and Virginia (Cary) Reade.
He retired from the United States Army after 22 years of service as a Master Sergeant.
After his retirement in 1992 he moved to Seminole.
On Dec. 22, 1983, Donald married Derinda (Simmons) in Tecumseh, Okla.
He is survived by his wife, Derinda, of the home; his mother, Virginia Reade of Queens, N.Y.; three daughters, Jennifer Smith of Los Cruses, N.M., Jessica Reade of Durant, Okla. and Lisa Daniel of Stonewall, Okla.; one son, Jody Mann of Stonewall, Okla.; one sister, Ann Alvarez of Queens, N.Y.; one brother, John Reade of Queens, N.Y.; six grandchildren, Austin Mann, Delaney Daniel, Josie Lynn Mann, Leslie Daniel, Alex Smith and Zack Smith, as well as a host of other family and friends.
His father, Francis Reade preceded him in death.
A memorial service is planned for 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Christopher W. Meek will officiate the service
Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Billie Redford
Billie Charline Redford was born on Dec. 1, 1932, in Salina, Okla., and departed this life on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, in Wewoka, Okla., at the age of 81.
Billie, the daughter of Charles and Lillian (Nave) Brown, was a resident of Wewoka.
Billie married James Monroe Redford on Jan. 12, 1950, in Okemah, James preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 1995.
Billie's parents, husband, a daughter and son-in-law, Burdetta and James Nicely, a grandson, Thomas Nicely, one sister, Freeda McEntire, and brother-in-law, Charles Chapman preceded her in death.
Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Dale and Pam Redford of Prague; daughters and sons-in-law, Anita and J.R. Reid of Wewoka, and Belinda and Joe Shannon of McLoud; brother, Carroll Brown of Henryetta; sister, Georgine Chapman of Henryetta; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild on the way and loved by many nieces and nephews
A memorial service was held on Sunday, July 13, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Earlsboro Free Will Baptist Church in Earlsboro with Pastor J.R. Reid and Brother Randall Miller officiating.
Raymond Reed III
Raymond William "Dusty" Reed III, 40, Maud, Okla. resident, died Monday, March 3, 2014 in Seminole County.
Dusty was born May 29, 1973 in Oklahoma City, Okla. to Connie (Lewis) Reed and Raymond William Reed, Jr.
Dusty grew up in the Seminole and Maud areas and attended Seminole Public Schools, he later attended Northeastern University in Tahlequah, Okla. for a few years.
Dusty did restoration of old southern homes in Savannah, Ga. for a while and loved helping his grandfather, Togie Lewis, to whom he was very close, with his ranch and horses.
Dusty was also a salesman for Mattress Giant Retailer in Dallas, Tex., and received several "Salesman of the Month" and "Manager of the Year" awards Dusty was a member of the Choctaw Tribe of Oklahoma.
Dusty also served as Chaplin of the Sons of the American Legion at Savannah, Ga.
Dusty loved people, he had a personality to which people where drawn.
Dusty loved the tropics, the ocean and deep-sea fishing.
He had a love for the University of Oklahoma and enjoyed going to their games.
Dusty loved celebrating his birthdays by floating the Illinois River with his friend, and St. Patrick’s Day.
Dusty was kindhearted and was always there for his friends whenever they needed him.
He also helped take care of his grandfather, Togie Lewis, in his dying days. Mr. Lewis died Feb. 7, 2014.
Dusty is survived by his mother, Connie (Lewis) Reed of Maud; his brother, Clint Reed of Dallas, Tex.; grandmother, Glenda Lewis of Maud; his aunts and uncles, Glen and Dian Koch of Seminole, Gary and Melanie Lewis of Maud and Mike and Jerry Jackson of Edmond, Okla. Many friends and family who loved him dearly also survive him.
His father, Raymond William Reed, Jr. and his grandfather, Togie Lewis, and his grandmother, Geraldine Reed Long, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, with Rev. Mark Hennen officiating. Burial will follow at Cummings Cemetery in Maud.

Taylor Reed
Taylor Don Reed was born April 11, 2005 in Oklahoma City to Russell Don Reed and Sherry Louise Day.
He departed this life Sunday Oct. 19, 2014 in Muse, Okla.
Taylor was a fourth grader at Wewoka Elementary school.
He loved to play football with his friends.
He enjoyed fishing, listening to Blues Music and playing with his friends.
He was a young man full of life and energy.
Taylor was a loving happy little boy, that brought smiles to everyone he met.
Survivors include his Father Russell Don Reed of Wewoka, Mother Sherry Day of Meeker, Okla.; Sisters Lorlie Day and Samantha Day of Meeker; grandparents Jim and Janice Day of Meeker, Okla.; Uncle Steve Day of Edmond, Okla.: Aunt and Uncle Liz and Joby Barnhart of Wewoka, Rick Reed of Holdenville, Okla., Uncle and Aunt Scott and Anglea Gibbs of Holdenville, Okla.; cousins Coty and Charley Barnhart ; Jaden Easton, and Donvan Gibbs of Holdenville, and Courtney Boyce of Holdenville, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pall Bearers will be Kevin Kincade, Todd Brock, Randy Childers, Brett Miller, Kendell Miller, and Khanaa Langrehr.
Honorary Pall Bearers will be Ryan Langrehr, Coty Barnhart, Charley Barnhart, Chance Tipken, Lane Smith, Lane Azlin and the entire fourth grade class.

Thelma Reese
Thelma Ivalue Reese, 79, longtime Seminole resident died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014 at the Cedar Creek Living Center in Norman, Okla.
Thelma was born May 8, 1934 in Seminole to Lula Bell (Mills) and Hubbard Williams.
She grew up in Seminole and attended Seminole Public Schools.
She was a domestic housekeeper for most of her life, helping many families in the Seminole community.
She is survived by four sons; Kelvin Reese of Shawnee, Okla., Gilbert Reese and Mark Reese both of Seminole, and Jake Reese of North Carolina; four daughters, Cassandra Fabre of Seminole, Chiquita Overstreet and Karen Reese Williams both of Norman and Paulette Reese of Seminole; her sister, Lolita O’Guinn of Wewoka, Okla.; 23 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Preston Reese; and one son, Edwin Cook.
Funeral services are planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at the Immanuel Fellowship Church in Seminole with burial to follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole.
There will be a family visitation where the family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2014 at Swearingen Funeral Home.
