Juanita Tiger, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 30, 2014.
She was born to Parnosky and Ida Mae (Poe) Tiger on Oct. 17, 1932, in Spaulding, Okla.
A graduate of Spaulding High School, she later attended Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kan.
She moved to Oklahoma City and worked for attorney Harold Dodson for 25 years as legal secretary.
She was a member of Glorieta Baptist Church in Oklahoma City and served as church secretary for 17 years.
Preceding Juanita in death are her parents; four brothers, Nana, Ollie, Dicky and Albert Tiger; four sisters, Emma, Anna, Rachal Tiger, and Jowina Reed.
Survivors include two sisters, Wanda Postoak and husband Leon of Oklahoma City, and Maggie Elliott and husband J.D. of Midwest City; two nieces, Lena Bailey of Holdenville, Okla., and Brigitte Denmark of Tuttle, Okla.; two nephews, Robin Tiger and wife Deanna of Norman, Okla., and Jeff Tiger of Midwest City, Okla.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Christian Tiger, Rob Walker, Robin Tiger, Tom Brantley Tony Herman and Woody Kinney
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 2014, at Glorieta Baptist Church, 7308 South Western, Oklahoma City, with Dr. Emerson Falls and Pastor Ledtkey McIntosh officiating.
Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City, under the direction of Stout Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka.
Keith Tiger
Former Wewoka resident Keith Wayne Tiger, age 49, passed away Sunday, April 13th, 2014 in Ada, Okla. Born June 4, 1964 to Harry James Tiger and Bernice Hulwa Fish.
Preceding Keith in death is a step-daughter Serina Leann Ground and grandson Tristen Trae Tiger.
Survivors include his father; Harry Tiger and Mother; Bernice Fish; children Rachel Tiger, Keisa Tiger, Derek Tiger, and Macy Tiger, all of Ada, Okla., one sister Terri Lynn Tiger: grandchildren Serina Tiger, Jensen Jax Tiger, Julius Masen Jones, Xoie Shikoba Jones, Mariah Belle Trevino, and Castiel Cole Tiger, nephews; Robert West, Brian Tiger, and Kenneth West.
Honorary Pall Bearers will be Derek Tiger.
Pall Bearers will be Curtis Walker, Robert West, Brian Tiger, Kenneth West, Tony Wallace and Randy Roberts.
Wake services will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Greenleaf Baptist Church, Okemah, Okla. The body will be taken to the Church at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Greenleaf Baptist Church with Rev. Houston Tiger and Rev. Davis Lewis officiating, and burial to follow at Greenleaf Church Cemetery.

Lee Tolbert
Lee Vern Tolbert, 94, longtime Seminole/Maud resident passed quietly after a prolonged illness on July 25, 2014 in Midwest City, Okla.
Lee was born July 29, 1919 in Wellington, Kans. to Verna (Bullard) and Fred Tolbert.
Lee moved to Oklahoma with his family at a young age and graduated from Seminole High School.
He married Virginia C. Julian, "His Ginger", in 1939.
When World War II started he volunteered and although officially listed as 4F due to impaired vision, he was able after several attempts to enlist.
He remained working in military intelligence here and abroad until he retired after twenty years.
Lee then attended Cameron College and earned his Bachelors of Education degree.
Until retiring a second time, he worked as a parole officer for the state of Oklahoma.
After retiring again he remained active with interests in books and cameras; he bought and sold both at the Seminole Flea Market and kept a large collection in his home.
He was a good man who loved his family, his cameras, books, football and the Democratic Party.
He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace.
Lee is survived by his wife of 74 years, Virginia C. Tolbert; his daughters, Virginia L. Tolbert and Nancy Harned; his grandson, Stephen J. Harned and his wife Denise; great grandsons, Ian J. Harned, Guyson R. Harned, and Branson L. Harned; sisters, Pat Hale and Freda Hamilton; and a brother, Joe Tolbert and their families; a brother-in-law, Jack Julian and his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Verna Tolbert; a brother, James C. Tolbert; his sister, Rachel Krummrich.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.

Virginia "Ginger" Tolbert
Aug. 29, 1924 – Sept. 25, 2014
Virginia "Ginger" C. (Julian) Tolbert, 90 year old Del City resident and former Seminole resident, quietly passed from this life on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014 at her home in Del City, Okla.
She was born Aug. 29, 1924 in Sapulpa, Okla. to parents Dorse and May Julian.
Virginia married Lee Tolbert in 1939 in Seminole, Okla. and sadly he preceded her in death on July 25, 2014 after seventy-four years of marriage.
Lee served in the United States Army during World War II and Virginia followed and adapted to whatever life threw at them.
Over the years she worked several jobs.
During the war she worked as a riveter on warplanes and later she worked in a fish cannery and joked that although her clothes smelled strongly, the money smelled good.
She was a talented seamstress and excelled in all forms of needlework bringing in more earnings by altering uniforms for servicemen.
Virginia’s love of fabrics and needlecraft inspired her all of her life and she made clothing for herself and all of her family.
She also made home décor items, purses and wonderful quilts.
She was always glad to pass this skill to any who was willing to learn. She even taught sewing classes in Lawton, Okla.
Later in life Virginia cared for her parents and Lee’s parents in her home and shared her home with many family members as the need arose.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Jenny Lee Tolbert and Nancy Harned; her brother, Jack Julian along with his family; her grandson, Stephen Harned and his family.
She is also survived by many of Lee’s family who over the years truly became her own.
Virginia is preceded in death by both of her parents, Dorse and May Julian.
As sweet and quirky as Virginia was, her husband Lee who called her, "His Ginger, " passed from this life on July 25, 2014 just two months to the day before they were reunited again. She is now with her sweetheart forever.
Her children arise and call her blessed: Her husband also and he praises her.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 4, 2013 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole. Rev. Carl Whitfield will officiate the service.

Howard Tolson
Howard "J.D." Tolson, 97, resident of McAlester, Okla. died Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Walnut Grove Living Center in McAlester, Okla.
The family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday evening at Bishop Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 4, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of McAlester. Rev. Ryan Young of Elk City, Okla. will officiate the services.
Interment will be at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors by the Robert B. Thomas, Veterans of Foreign Wars post #1098.
Service arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service.
He was born Feb. 21, 1917 to Robert Clarence Tolson and Mattie Tolson in Ada, Okla.
He volunteered for the Service of the U.S. Army in 1941 and was assigned to the 45th Division of the 180th Infantry antitoxic Company Thunderbird Division.
On Oct. 3, 1941, he married Wilma Myo Hunt.
He served in North Africa, Sicily and Italy where he was awarded the following: The Bronze Star for action over and above the call of duty, The European, Africa, Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with (2) Invasion Stars (Sicily and Italy), World War II Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Pearl Harbor Medal, Combat Infantryman’s badge with Wreath, Expert Rifleman’s Medal and Expert Machine Gun Badge.
He owned and operated Tolson Welding Supply in McAlester for numerous years.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Wilma Tolson of McAlester, Okla.; his children, Gary Tolson of Seminole, Okla., Priscilla McKinney of Enid, Okla., Troyce Tolson of McAlester, Okla.; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mattie Tolson; father, Clarence Tolson; step-mother, Ollie Tolson; sister, Imogene Johnson; brothers, Clifford Tolson, Bill Tolson and a baby brother; and a grandson.
Pallbearers will be Zach Odell, Josh Greenhalgh, Nic Greenhalgh, Jeff McKinney, Chris Moon, Bailey Moon.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Harmon Stokes, Clyde Stokes, J.A. Allford, Glen Stone, Bob Chapman, Doyle Copeland, Ed Brooks, Joe Stone and Deacons of First Baptist Church.
The family requests memorials are made to First Baptist Church Homebound Ministry, 100 E. Washington Ave., McAlester, OK 74501 in honor of Mr. Tolson.
Reginaldo Trevino
Reginaldo Catrett Trevino died Sunday, June 15, 2014 at his home in Wewoka, Okla. at the age of 38.
He was born Oct. 22, 1975 in Oklahoma City to Jose Jesus and Francis Catrett Trevino.
He worked in the Bio Hazard industry before his disability.
He is preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife Mary Trevino; children, Lydia and Sylvia Trevino of the home; his mother, Francis Trevino; siblings, Marie Hunt, Joe Trevino, Mark Trevino, Shane Costellia, and Angel Trevino.
No services are scheduled at this time.
